| said: Club Alize is very very clean, maid service daily, they empty the bins out and make beds, changed the sheets twice in 2 weeks. Air conditioning in both bedrooms(which is a big plus in the heat).
Hotel food was lovely, good selection on the menu.
Location of the hotel is ok, its too hot to do alot of walking but we walked to Marmaris harbour and used the dolmus to get back. Marmaris beach is about 5 minutes walk from Club Alize and is a nice beach.
Hotel staff were extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they worked very hard.
Be prepared for the "ICE WATER" being thrown on you around the pool during the afternoon, they sneak up on you and just throw it on you even if youre reading a book or smoking etc. It was funny though, watching people jump up off the sunbeds like scalded cats! hehe
Entertainment was great, 5 turkish entertainers, 4 of which worked their butts off to make everyone happy. They do 2 club dances twice a day and my kids loved joining in with that.
Water slide was great, my family used it alot.
Take your own sun cream, its expensive in resort and so is chocolate if you have kids.
We have already booked up to go to Club Alize for 2 weeks in 2009, give it a go, you wont regret it!

| said: the hotel was very nice staff always cleaning and taking rubbish the pool is cleaned every night. the food in the hotel was very nice the staff are very helpful.the beach was a 10 minuite walk away. there was different show on each night and a kids mini disco pool games everyday bingo etc we stayed for 2weeks and would go back again. the kidz club was very good staff so nice my children did not want to leave!

| said: The hotel was generally very clean, waiters always cleaning outside pool area they worked hard & kept it really really clean, room however could have been cleaned a little better than it was on our arrival, few small things we seen in the room that we felt a little disappointed with in that we felt a quick clean would have made such a difference & would have created a better impression.
Food being sold around pool bar was fine, loads of selection, pizzas from around 11 lira, toasted sandwiches from around 5 lira, plate of chips 7 lira you could get gravey & chips was really nice to 5 lira. On the whole wasnt dissapointed with food available, pool bar always busy so that shows food cant have been that bad.
The hotel staff were really friendly never really had much to do with them on the whole but never ever got the impression that they were rude people.
What can i say entertainment of a day was fab, you go on holiday for a rest & do things you wouldnt do at home. Well this place does the things that keeps you happy & entertained. Things like swimming pool games, killer pool,bingo, penalty shoot out,darts, water aerobics, this was all good for the holiday people, the animation people come around the pool asking if you wanted to take part if you didnt there was no pressure put on you. Bingo cost 10 lira for one sheet & they only play for a full house, they dont tell you how much you win & it definatley not the amount of money they have collected in from playing the game they definately get a cut of it, its the same with killer pool to, dont be fooled by the amount of people playing that doesnt meanyou win that much money cos you dont. You had the animation crew coming around mid afternoon to cool you off with ice cold water being poured over you. The dont really give consideration to you reading a book or listening to you eye pod the water just gets pored over you, a little inconsiderate i think they should really ask you if you want it. I am surprised that these entertainers didnt get a few smacks from some of the holiday goers as it isnt everyones cup of tea.

| said: i think this hotel is clean, fresh and inviting.
the staff were very nice and helpful.also so funny and energetic.it had a great pool and amazing shops.
the hotel position was in a good place with a restaurant opposite and bars and other restaurants near by.the hotel food was nice with a good selection of different foods.the entertainment was amazing and during the day i didnt feel pressured into doing anything.overall i absolutely would recommend this hotel so much that i am going back next year.

| said: The hotel was very, very clean, the maids came in and change bed sheets, towels, etc every other day. And the hotel staff always seemed to be cleaning outside around the pool area too. The hotel food was cheap although some days it tasted wonderful other days it wasn't so good. Location was good, with the local number 3 bus which stopped outside and you could take this down towards the bizzare. The staff were all very friendly and always happy to help and the only complaint we found during our stay was the evening entertainment was not as good as the daytime pool activites and there was no games/entertainment for the 8 to 15 year olds.

| said: Despite the early hour arrival the porters were on hand to carry your luggage to your room. The pool-view room was very clean & maintained daily.
Although we were self-catering we chose to eat at the hotel on several occasions. The menu was the best we'd seen and excellent value for money. Definitely the best in the resort. There are many restaurants within walking distance, namely Cousins, Sail Cafe Bar, Minder, Faros, Venus, Oh Yes. All having a similar menu.
Club Alize is just under a 10mins dolmus No.3 (bus service) ride to Marmaris centre. The dolmus service is frequent and reliable.
On our last day the hotel introduced stricter rules for those reserving sunbeds. It was fair to apply this as there were some who clearly reserved sunbeds early with no intentions of coming to the pool area until later in the day. The rule as we left Club Alize was you could put your towels down as long as you stayed with them. I think you'd agree that is fair.
The hotel waiters cannot do enough for you. They work extremely hard and are always cheerful & obliging. The maid was good and friendly despite the hot conditions. Reception staff were attentive. The majority of staff are good english speakers.
The entertainment team were excellent. Fifi, Leo & Thai are the best. They do not fail in entertaining you during the day & evening programmes. If you choose not to participate then you are not hassled.

| said: Just Came Back From A 2 week holiday in Club alize.
The Hotel waz clean, especially as we watched all the waiters dressed in green at night wash the floor and tables being cleaned.. although the apartment was overall very clean, the floor always seemed to make your feet dirty but the cleaners seemed to be very friendly people.
The hotel food was very nice, as me and my 2 sisters got up late we would go down and eat brunch, as it could be called although as there was only 3 of us there it seemed quite cheap but when all 5 of us where eating it sometimes added up to quite a lot.
The hotel location was good as it was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and there was a bus stop right outside the hotel that would take you to the harbour. there was also a shortcut (through the game room and striaght down the road opposite ap park) to all the resteraunts on the main roads where there were plenty of shops.
The hotel staff were amazing. The Lower class waiters were absulutely amazing working nearly all day and were very friendly and nice to talk to. The higher class waiters who were the ones dressed in red at night and normally tok your order were also very friendly and helpful. So thanks to all of them.. including onaur (dont kno how to spell it) and hemmet who we liked to help put the chairs away who were very friendly and funny people. also thanks to emrah who nearly always took our orders who was also very funny.
The entertainers were always willing to sit down and talk to you on a night at around 12 when the entertainment had finished. they were very funny and liked to get you involved in games in the day. We especially liked leo and was the one we talked to every day.. he always made us laugh even if it meant messing our hair up. haha. also the club dances were very funny and were great to be involved in as they were always a laugh.
would love to go there again...

| said: Just got back from a week at the club alize and would probably go again but use it as a base for other things.Overall the hotel is spotless and the pool is good for adults and kids.The food is quite good although pricey,as are the drinks,4 lira for a small slush or 2.5 lirs for a water is not my idea of cheap,especially when there are signs every where telling you not to bring your own food and drink to the pool,when its 38 degrees a quid for a small bottle of water is taking advantage.The hotel does have a shop but its prices are twice that of the little supermarket just down the road and nothing is price marked.the hotel is quite a way out but the dolmus are regular and cheap but beware they stop around midnight then be prepared to pay through the nose for a taxi.You have to go out at night the entertainment is dire unless you are a karoke addict.The rooms are nice and spacious but beware a lot of them are on the main road and are very,very noisy,pay for a pool view.The staff are friendly but they are constantly asking you to buy drinks and food or play bingo (10 lira) or killer pool(5 lira).I played killer pool with about 25 others making a pot of 125 lira,amazingly the winner got 75 lira,a nice cut for the entertainment team,also they dont tell you the winnings for the bingo,another nice earner for the entertainers! the hotel is quite good through the day but like the rest of turkey it is getting expensive,the days of a cheap holiday in turkey are well and truly over,be prepared to pay between 5 lira(£2.30) and 7 lira(£3.00) a pint for the local effes beer,if you want imports you will pay between 7 lira and 10 lira for a bottle of bud.Turkey is still a nice destination but you need to get a good deal on your holiday to make up for the rising costs which now makes turkey on a par with the costas if not dearer,remember it is only 2.3 lira to the pound as of 1st june 08.

| said: Have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Marmaris staying at Club Alize. I would recommend this place to anyone, particularly people with children. First impressions were great. The room was spacious and very clean. The maids came in everyday and changed the towels every other day. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The staff on the reception desk was really efficient and helpful. The food on site was varied and not too expensive. You were only a 10 minute walk to the main road, with Migros Supermarket - to buy food etc. The entertainment was great, the children loved it. My only criticism was the mini disco was supposed to be from 9.00 to 9.30 but by the time it started it was usually nearly ten past and it would end at 9.25. Then the children would be all running around with nothing to do. I did tell the Bar Manager and he said lots of people had said the same. I suggested they play music for them to dance to before the adult entertainment came on, e.g. kiss kiss, cha cha slide etc. Apart from that everything at the Alize was first class. The hairdresser Nicky was great, she could blow dry your hair as smooth as silk - without any hair straighteners!!! Only 15 lira. We will definitely return.

| said: We stayed at the Club Elize from the 22/10 for 7 nights and had a fab time we found the staff all to be very friendly and helpful.
The rooms were large and had everything we needed. Its location was ideal with a restaurant on site and a restaurant just across the road.
The dolomus stopped right outside the appts and were excellent.
The entertainment was basic but we did not except much as it was the last week of the season infact the day we left the appts were closing we were the very last people to leave.
I guess in the height of the season the pool area could become very crowded and quite loud with the children playing as the pool is quite small.
However this would not put us off going again in fact we have already booked to go back to these appts in May 08

| said: our stay at club alize was excellent arrived at hotel 5 in the morning and was greeted by friendly staff who showed us to are apartments. apartments were very clean and was clean troughout our stay. all hotel staff were great keeping the kids entertained all day long, especialy ,sali,mustafa,turgay and mushroom.Didnt eat much at hotel but when we did it was good, we found a chinese indian and mexican resturant around the corner called barons it was the best chinese i have ever tasted and they gave us free breakfast in the morning.we had such a great time in club alize as soon as we got home we have booked up for next october.

| said: We stayed at the Club Alize hotel in Marmaris, and this was our first visit to Turkey and can say from the off that it was a fabulous holiday from start to finish. No Germans, No groups of lads/lasses. No bother. Family friendly and interactive to all. Sunbeds were plentiful, but just like any other hotel in the world, put ya towels down early.The rooms were clean and spacious and well equipped with all you need for self catering. There is a large supermarket called Migro,s about a ten minute walk away that is much cheaper than the hotel shop and sells everything you will possibly need. I can recommend buying the lovely fresh bread and a selection of cheeses and fresh veg, ie; toms, onions and peppers. The hotel food was lovely throughout the day, and quite cheap, however the bar was expensive but so was every other bar in marmaris. The hotel staff were a treat, and always attended to you, and the entertainment boys down by the pool were just fantastic. Always there, doing something to entertain. Salih, Turgay(KEITH, AS WE CALLED HIM) Habib, Soner, to name but a few. Great with the kids, and adults alike. Close to the beach, shops and a taxi rank right outside the door. Full marks for this hotel and a big thanks to all the staff that made it a super two week stay. 11/10.

| said: on a weeks holiday with myself and family we thought on arrival this hotel was impressive our room was clean but this was the only time it was cleaned properly, we ate at the hotel a couple of times and all ended up ill it could have been from anywhere until everyone around us was ill as well back home we all have food poisonin diagnosed by our doctor and my 2 year old is still seriosly ill,i had read reviews the entertainment was great i certainly didnt think so it was the same every night,i would not visit these appartments again.

| said: This was our third time at Club Alize and we had a lovely time but it wasn't as good as prevoius years. I will be looking for a new hotel and won't go in October again.
Maybe it was cos it was October and it's later and cheaper than normal but the people in the hotel were awful, they say germans are bad (100% british hotel). They put their towels round the kids pool at 5am and didn't come to the sunbeds until 2.30pm, some not until 5pm to remove the towels. I complained to the manager but nothing was done. If you don't smoke, wear several tonnes of gold, have 500 tatoos, don't swear like mad at top voice infront of the kids (including the kids) you were a severe minority. Scum scum scum. One day we went for lunch across the other side of the hotel. We came back half an hour later to find my sons water shooter smashed to pieces. His friend told me who had done it and when I approached the parents, they were like 'so what'. He had a lilo, a spiderman boat and a rubber ring burst by bigger kids knicking them out of the little pool and going down the big slide on them... without asking of course.
The waiters were so perverted. My hubby had to walk off before he smacked one of them as he kept going on and on about my boobs. They constantly tell you how gorgeous and sexy you are which after 2wks pees you off. Throwing water on us fair enough, but throwing a bucket of freezing cold water all over me and my fast asleep 4mth old baby is not funny.
So many people had upset stomachs, both ends for 48hrs, me and my hubby included. I knew of 15 other people that had it and when we asked the rep she denied all knowledge but then started saying that one of the guys was better now... but I thought she didn't know anyone else that had it!
I was short changed at the bar several times. The entertainment was none existent. The usual entertainment blokie has gone to do his service. There was no pool dance, surfing games, aqua aerobics etc. Mini disco was pants and if i hear that titanic song one more time... it was over and over and over again all day and night long!!
We still love the layout of the hotel. The kids pool is fab for our lil ones (if you can get a sunbed near it, bearing in mind we were always first or second down by the pool at 9am) and the two bed appartments are great but I will be looking elsewhere just to see what else is about.
The manager is nice, we phoned him and asked for a specific room which we got and a lot of staff remembered us but the sunbed situation is so so bad and the people that were there just awful!
It might just be cos it was october and so cheap... what do you expect for £900 for a 2 bed appartment with decent flight times.
Its a shame because previous years we have loved it. If they sorted the sunbed situation out and told the pool staff not to be so perverted it would be a fab hotel.
We missed Michelle the rep tho!

| said: everything in this hotel was spot one apart from one thing, if u have small children as we had 2 in our room, be aware that on the balcony the air con fan is on the floor instead of being on the wall out of reach like many hotels do, so we spend all our holiday either with the air con off or placing chairs all around the fan so little fingers didnt go near it, this was my only problem i know its not much but it would of been much worse if we came home with missing fingers....

| said: arrived home yesterday, missing turkey already. hotel was very clean, always saw a cleaner around. pool staff and waiters always cleaning around you ie clean ashtrays empty packets ect. the hotel food is very nice we had no problems. the location . . . great 5 minute walk to the beach with lots of bars and resturants. the hotel staff great, very friendly during the day not as happy at 4 in the morning but who would be. the entertainment is good plenty of activities especially enjoyed the club dances in the evening, which included cha cha slide and another dance that we learnt whilst there :-). i would deffinatly come again and make sure it was club elize. abig shout out to every1 and the friends we made from scotland :D xxx

| said: I returned on Monday the 8th October from a two week stay at The Club Alize. These apartments are absolutely amazing I couldn’t't fault them all.
The apartments themselves were always clean, tidy and very spacious.
The reception was clean and the reception staff were always there to help.
The pool area was spotless and there was plenty of sunbeds.
And as for the staff, every single member of staff at The Club Alize help make my holiday brilliant. Habib was such a laugh and was always happy to help. The pool staff during the day where so great and would always try to cool you down by throwing buckets of ice on you. The entertainment staff were really good too. I had some really great Professional Pictures take by the photographer at the club Alize and I am really placed with the quality of my photos. The staff at night were amazing, they were great at their jobs and like to carry on to by getting everyone including me up to do the dances. I will really miss all the staff. A big shout out to Habib, Mustafa, Hassan, Hakan, Omar and the rest. Don't let me forget Turgay I will miss him so so much.
I am sure that people going will have an amazing time and won't be disappointed as it’s a great place.
I am in the middle of booking up for next year and looking forward to it.

| said: When we arrived we were very impressed by how clean everything was. I had reguested a pool side room but was given road side but we moved rooms when one was available so this was fine.
The pool was lovely, kids loved the slide and the kids club was fantastic.
Food round the pool was lovely during the day but didn't enjoy it as much as outside restaurants at night.
The soft drinks at the bar are a bit expensive and there was a severe lack of alcohol in the alcoholic drinks but the beer is fine.
The waiters and entertainment team were the best i have ever got to know and really make your holiday.
All in all a great holiday and would definately return to club alize.
P.S. The flight with first choice was the dirtiest most cramped flight i have ever been on.

| said: Just arrived back and would definately retun. Immaculately clean hotel and a lovely maid. lovely food at the pool bar especially the pizza. Thankyou to Adem and Mustafa and more who were great with my two year old daughter.
There were 10 adults and 4 children and an infant in our party and everyone was happy. Everyone very friendly. You get pestered outside the hotel but just tell them you hava already eaten. Alot of places do children eat free if you ask.
Drinks are pretty expensive at the bar. The cousins bar across the road are buy one get one free all the time of beers and soft drinks and they are so very pleasant and friendly, foods good too. Watch the shorts and cocktails in the hotel pool bar as theres hardly any alcohol in them.
Book trips outside of the hotel as lots cheaper and also a turkish bath is much cheaper outside the hotel and you get longer.
The only downside was the entertainment but dont know if it was becuse its coming to end of season, it was repeated the second week. We will all happily return to the club alize though.

| said: Just returned had an excellent time,first choice were terrific our rep was excellent and staff at hotel were very good. Nothing was to much trouble and it was spotless.People were very friendly and not annoying at all. The only problem i could see was people putting towels on sun loungers but were not happy with one were also putting towels on loungers for later in the shade taking up space, with no regard for other people especially when it was so busy. apart from that holiday was terrific. will be back.

| said: we have just got back from club alize. it was the brill. the hotel is spotless rooms cleand every day, beds changed every 2 days. food in the hotel im brill good value of money. the location is quite but 5 mins from the main street. the staff and entertainment team are just the best. when we left they all came out to help us with our bags and see us off there all ace. we are booking up for the same time next year. cant wate

| said: i have just got back yesteday and would never go back there again i think all the waiters was very very rude and perverted apart from zafoo and mustafa they were the only friendly ones the bar staff was very rude and ignorant the would talk in trukish about you and then start laughing they will harrass your girlfriend and they are very dirty people i have a 1 year old little girl and she is a very happy baby and they wold come up and make her jump and she would cry and when you tell them dont they still do it. the pool area is nice but when you are sun bathing they come around with ice and chuck it all over you even when you say no it is very anoying the entertainment was quite good if you are 2-11 years old it is repeated so if you are there for two weeks you will see it twice there was a lady from the hotel that was mugged outside the hotel so be careful the market was very mad and intimerdating and they bug you till you either buy somthing or tell them to fudgeoff. it is quite expencive dalaman airport is very very expensive on the way home its is about £8.50 for a kids meal in macdonalds no joke so i will never ever go to turkey again thankx for reading this it is 100% the truth i swear thankx

| said: Club Alize excellent, everything I read about and was told by First Choice was spot on. Staff very friendly, maid service brilliant, our room was always tidy when we went back to it, no matter how we had left it. We were self catering and had most breakfasts at the club Alize. Must recommend their pizza. (I wish I had had more of them.) We enjoyed the bbq night and stayed in for some nights for the entertainment then went down to the other bars. A good friendly, family atmosphere. Would definately recommend Club Alize to others and will almost certainly go back there. Not on the sea front, but its only short walking distances to everything. Club Alize has great pool with water slides, its own shops, british bar, gym etc. Excellent.

| said: as the previous reviews suggest the alize is a very clean and friendly place to stay.the location is good but not fantastic since it is pretty new it is on the fringes of the resort and not very central.if ordering a pint you are best doing so in person or else you will get half the drip tray and the rest topped up.we booked a 2 bed apt,it is well worth it if there are any left each bedroom has its own aircon plus you get 2 bathrooms ,the dining room has no aircon .we looked in the 1 bed apts and they looked very small for a family plus no aircon in dining room where the fold up bed is (sweatbox).the rooms on the roadside can be a bit noisy since they are only single glazed but you get a view of the school across the road.on the whole a good clean place to stay with a lovely pool and hardworking staff.

| said: I had being going to the club alize since the first time it opened but when I went in July 2007 it was not the same people were up at 4 in the morning putting towels out the staff I felt did nothing about this and neither did the rep.
The food was rubbish except for breakfast, could not relax at pool for water being threw at you every body likes fun but it can be annoying at times.
The hotel was expensive and the bar staff always short change you. Only thing I can say is it is kept clean.
I am not saying I won't go back to Turkey but I won't be going back to the club alize which I have told the manager as we have known each other for a while.
I will be going to one of there other apartments.

We went across the road to Cousins Steak House most of the time for our evening meals as they had a greater variety and were a lot cheaper.
We had a good deal there with drinks too as they gave us buy one get one free every time we went there,this makes quite a difference to your bill especially if you have kids because soft drinks are more expensive than alcohol!
They have lots of restaurants on Marmaris beach front too which are really good.The hotel location was very good, only a 10 min walk to Marmaris beach.
Hotel staff were great and couldnt do enough for you. The waiters were friendly too ...but beware if you have teenager daughters because they can get a little too friendly !!
Hotel entertainment was fairly good with a variety of things for kids and adults.
I would definitely go to this hotel again.

| said: Club Alize was excellent the staff are very friendly however it can be annoying sometimes getting water threw over you when you wanted to sun bathe but when you got used to the staff it wasn't to bad. The waiters and bar staff were excellent and i couldn't fault any of them. The entertainment team were also good especially Marco and they tried so hard to get everyone involved in the water games etc. The food in the hotel was very good and I found that it was better than some restaurants - If you like Indian food try the Taj Mahal it was great!!!!!
The hotel was spotless and i am very fussy when it comes to cleanliness.
I would definately go to the Club Alize again if i went back to Turkey

We had a 2 bedroom apartment with ensuite, first floor with pool view, very spacious and clean.
The poolside staff are polite and friendly especially Evrim & Eite.
The entertainment team are a laugh and work hard, Marco, Olive & Tanya. But they run on a weekly programme not very good if you are on a two week holiday.
The staff and waiters are very pleasant especially Zafer, Adem & Sid. Zafer was always joking around with us. Jesus is just crazy! Every day you could hear him shout shower time, crazy man would get a hosepipe and wet you then he would come around pouring ice cold water over your heads. We went on a boat trip with him and his family, great day.
The turkish night was ok £10 per person and children free.
The food here was good we ate there almost every night and it was reasonably priced.
We went on jeep safari recommend this, it was the best day out! be prepared to get soaked!! We booked this trip with Tiger & Ozzy, go out of hotel turn left keep going then you will see them on the left. We went for £13 each good value, you get food in this price but no drink. You can buy a dvd of the trip for 40 lire.
This hotel is in a good location within 10 mins walk of beach and shops etc. The hotel is well run and clean at all times.

| said: Hotel was kept very clean 24 hours a day and the maid does an excellent job in the room too. The staff were the best ever, Jesus, Ramazan, all the waiters and entertainers. They were entertaining all day and all night, very friendly and great with little children. The would always make sure you were safe and not walking out side of the hotel on your own. The food was very nice and a great selection of different types of dishes. The entertainment programme was 1 week long, so by the second week you were looking for something else to do. Break dancers were contracted in about 4 times a week doing the same show every time. Hotel location was great, 5-10 minutes walk from the beach and supermarket and 5 minutes by bus to the local market which was great and sold everything-very cheap aswell. Hotel prices were very reasonable, £1.80/4 lira a pint at the bar. Will be going back next summer, if not before.

| said: We were lucky enough to be allocated a room on the pool level, and had a huge balcony.
The hotel was extremely clean at all times. Throughout the day staff were round cleaning tables at the sun-beds, emptying ashtrays etc. The maid kept our room spotless and made fan shapes with the bedspreads some days which was a nice touch. We were given clean towels and sheets every 2nd day which is welcome when the weather is so hot and sticky.
The apartments were adequately equipped, although we felt a toaster would have been of more use to us than the microwave provided. The safety deposit boxes were also in a separate room in the reception area and this was not great if you wanted to store jewellery there, I ended up just wearing the same jewellery for 2 weeks.
We had our main meal in the restaurant 4 out of the 14 days we were there. The food was beautiful although there wasn't much on the menu which was typically turkish. My husband thought the Spaghetti carbonara was the best he had ever tasted. The food prices were also competitive at around 12-15 lira for most main courses.
The entertainment cycle is a weekly one so you would definately need to go out into the town at least some nights. My little boy loved the pool party, one night per week the pool stays open until 10.30pm, it was beautiful as it was floodlit and the pool that night was busier than it is during the day with games for both children and adults. The Turkish Night was also good value at £10 for adults with children going free. The buffet was lovely and the turkish belly dance show very entertaining.
The staff, from the cleaners up to the overall manager, were definately the friendliest I have ever met in any hotel. The poolside waiters and lifeguard were excellent and really good with children. The lifeguard, Cihan, was often seen wandering about with babies in his arms giving mothers a welcome 5 minute break. He always had a smile for everyone.
All in all, we will definately go back to this hotel - possibly even next year.

They said they could move us 4 days later but we had got used to it by then!
The food was a lot nicer than last year and also bigger!
The location of the hotel is brilliant!The staff was really nice apart from the life guard who was abusive.(pushed my boy down slide stairs)the waiters were nice the best ones are Zafer can &Adem. the enteretainment was better than last year there was more for the kids magic shows etc.
We are visiting again soon because of the staff!

| said: Arrived back at the alize for the second time and it was like we had never been away. Some of the same staff were there from the previous year and they remembered us and greeted us with open arms.
On allocation to our room we were happy with what we found, a bright clean spacious apartment with everything we needed.
Pool and bar areas are cleaned but please please be careful when walking around the pool area as it is like an ice rink, there are a few safety mats to walk on but not enough, please watch your children and dont let them run around because they will fall.
Poolside waiter service is good and efficient but be careful when having shorts cause the measures are small and prices are large.
Beer prices are average within the resort but if you are having a glass of beer go to the bar and get it yourself and make sure that you see it being poured from the tap otherwise you could be drinking a warm pint from the silver bucket under the tap.
Food is of a good standard and is well presented at a reasonable price although the only thing missing is a kids menu.
An ideal daytime snack is a pizza and a portion of chips which will feed two adults and two kids no problem for around a fiver.
The entertainment at the Alize is OK but after week one you have seen it all, dont tie yourselves to the complex in the evenings go out and take a look around for there is plenty to do near by.
The Turkish night is OK but not very good value and the food is put out two hours before you are allowed up to eat, so when the temperatures are 40 and there is food left out for two hours it does not bode well.
There is a daily happy hour from 7-8 where local drinks are buy one get one free but all the waiters disappear at this time and the bar area is busy with only two bar men working it at a relaxed speed.
If you go out for a meal please be aware of the young street sellers who often work in pairs, the one will give you his puppy dog eyes look while his partner will take your bags or any other valuables so please dont leave things hanging around.
Temperatures this year are very very high and the midday sun is extreme. Temperatures for last week were hitting up to 56 and we had temperatures of 43 at midnight so please be careful with your young ones.
The Alize is a quality accommodation set in a good area of Marmaris, it is well run and kept clean at all times. If you have any problems during your stay they are usually sorted out very quickly and Michelle the rep spends a lot of time there and has a lot of experience of the Marmaris area. So please don't worry about a thing just go and do what I did and have a great holiday.

| said: On arrival we were given our rooms, I had requested that the 2 1 bed apts be next to each other or as close as possible as the kids were in a room on their own(aged 11,12,13) They gave us rooms that were nowhere near each other when I told them I had emailed the hotel myself with the request and that First Choice had also done this they said there was nothing they could do as they had no rooms next to each other available. When we said we would not accept the rooms they found us 2 next to each other on the reception floor (I think this is the 1st floor) and with a pool view. This was fine for the first 3 days of the holiday until new arrivals came in in the room above, they shouted, they were draging furniture around at 4am, bouncing balls off the walls, the language from the balcony to the waiters below was disgusting, they were playing loud music on the balcony and dirty dancing infront of familys having dinner much to the waiters delight and the head waiter even gestured for them to lift their tops up. I am all for people having fun but this is a family hotel with loads of kids around and I did not wish to watch this display when eating. The noise was terrible and security had to be called 5 times to my knowledge due to the noise. The rep was great and got us moved rooms.
The hotel itself is very clean but the rooms were dirty, the kids found a pair of dirty pants and a flip flop that did not belong to us in the lounge area.
The floors were not swept only mopped and my daughter was in the room when this was done one day and the cleaner was looking in the wardrobe in the lounge area I complained about this to the rep as they should not have been looking in there.
We found the food at the hotel disgusting. Breakfast was fine we did have tea there once I ordered Tbone steak (well done) and my husband had meat balls, they came out and the steak tasted funny and had blood in it, my husbands meat balls were raw, they sent them back and told me that tbone steak cannot be cooked well done. They came back out I had one mouthful of the steak and was sick it tasted off. I gave some to our friend who had just had the same meal and he ran to the toilets. We complained about this was duly brought out the steaks to prove they are fresh. It was frozen and brown. We did not eat there again, our friends did have the pizza but were running to the toilet with bad stomachs after. We eat out all the time and none of us had funny tummys.
We did go to the rock pub/night club this was freezing as the air conditioning was on when it did need to be, we never seen more that 5 people in there. The drinks at the pool bar are expensive and measured they were charging TL6.50 for a vodka and coke but if you go to cousins bar over the road it was TL 9 for 2 and they didn't measure it, you could attually taste the vodka.
We did loads of trips all booked on the sea front. (Quading, Buggying, Horse riding, Rafting, Jeep Safari and fishing)
The hotel is in a good location but the cleaners need to take more care when cleaning the rooms. The tattoist on the hotel is great my daughter had her belly pierced (£8) and the top of her ear done (£4) Safes are available they cost £7 per week.
We only watched the entertainment for 1 night and having teenagers it did not appeal to them it was for a much younger audience so i carnt really comment on that but most of the bars have entertainment on anyway. The Thursday market is a must but it can get very hot inside as there are so many people and watch your bags has there are a lot of pick pockets about. We brought Lacoste tracksuit £10, Addidas tracksuit £10, Lacoste t.shirts 6 for £10 and 3 leather belts for £10. Always haggle with them expecially as it was really quite in Marmaris this year and they are desparate for the trade. We also went to the bazar in the harbour and purchased 10 pairs of jeans for £200. Youdo not need to take that much lira with you as all the shops prefer sterling as they get a mich higher rate. If you get to know any of the shop keepers and you trust them enough they will exchange any cash for you at the change centres they get a better rate. The tourist rate wa 2.52 we got 2.61 all because a shop keeper got this for us.
It rained on 2 days and then came the heat reaching 40 some days but mostly staying at around 37 which was hot.
All in all we had a great holiday and if I did return to the hotel it would only be because of the location of it.

The food was very good,we ate there almost each night. the hotel is in a good location within 10 mins walk of the beach & shops etc.
The bar staff & waiters are very pleasant,especially Zaf & Selim. Gengis is the bar/restaurant manager. This guy is great. Nothing is too much trouble & he is a genuinely nice bloke.
The kids club here is the best anywhere. The kids reps Bryan & Terri are a credit to First Choice. The main rep there,Michelle, is also a credit to First Choice.
The entertainment team try to keep you involved, but the evening entertainment does get repetetive. The health spa is a must.
We'll be back at Club Alize in 2008.

| said: We arrived at Club alize at 4 in the morning not knowing what to expect as we stayed at a hotel in turkey the year before thinking that was the best one how wrong we were club alize has to be the best one there.
The hotel is clean and tidy the cleaners were nice and helpful if you can get past the launguage barrier.
The location is exellent just a five min walk from everything.
The entertainment was roughly the same everyday but the kids love it and the staff are great with them and are always happy and helpful no matter how many hours they work and they do work long hours.
I have alreasy booked to go again in june and cannot wait i would propbly not stay at any other apartments in Marmaris.
There is a small gift shop on site and the family that run it are really nice people. There is also a clothers shop which aint to bad but the barber is a rip off you are better off going off site they charge a lot less and do the same job
I would recommend this place to everyone singles, families and couples.

| said: Hotel very clean. Food excellent. Entertainment was fab apart from the entertainment team did hassle us alot to join in with activities when we did want to relax! However the games provided were fun to watch.
It was situated opposite a school and the bell sounded like the ice cream man! But it was funny and it didn't get annoying.
We found the manager(gengis)didn't speak to us until the last few days! Other waiters though were helpful and doing their best for us.
The bar staff were a laugh! The best waiters were, ramazan he called himself, the white Turkish waiter was helpful and fun and all the others.
I would defo visit here again(just to see the waiters) and because it was the best holiday I've been on!

Everyone so friendly and Im looking to go back already.
Food is great. Rooms are spacious and so clean.

Large swimming pool with slide as well as childrens pool.
English style bar not very good, too cold, air conditioning left on when not required. Food very good and plenty to choose from. Sops on site were supermarket, clothes, barber, hairdressers, tattoist, pool tables, arcade games, internet access.
Unfortunately our accommodation was at the front of the hotel and was on a main road and facing a school so hence was very noisy, school bell rings about every half hour from 8.00. in the morning and sounds like the ice cream man. Weekend was good, nice and quiet.
Staff were brilliant, couldn't do enough for you.
Entertainment not bad, games etc in day time and evening kids disco and dancers or circus acts etc. I would go back to this hotel anytime. However Marmaris not so good, barely any beach, and what there is is covered in sunbeds that belong to the nearest bar. Sea looked dirty and small beach was all peebly. Icmeler much nicer and only 20 minutes by bus or 30 minutes by boat taxi. 1.75 lira on bus. 7.50 lira boat single. Market on wednesday, not very good you could by the same things at the same prices from any of the shops including the hotel. There was in fact no need to leave the hotel if you didn't want to as everything was there £7 safety depoist box and £10. t.v. for the week. £15. for room until 9.00. p.m. for last day if late flights.
No need to change much English money into Lira as sterling accepted almost everywhere. Have no problems going back to this hotel. Transfer almost 2 hours from Dalaman airport.

Hotel staff were nice and always spoke and well mannered!
The cleanliness of the resort was fabulous! The cleaners were there everyday from early morning till evening.

Very high standards of cleanliness the maids take great pride in what they do I could not fault them at all,the food is great,entertainment is very good.
All the staff are very very friendly and always quick to help and they are always so happy.
I would definately stay there again in fact Im going back in july with my partner,two kids and my mum for two weeks.

| said: This was our second visit to this hotel and I must say we were a little disappointed this time. We had taken two couples with us who had never travelled to Turkey before and although there were delighted with the Turkish people in general, they found (as did I) the bar staff very rude and most unhelpful.
The only one who was of any help was Gengis - the bar manager. We found that this year our room was not cleaned to the hotel standard therefore never left a tip for the maid, despite her knocking on our door at 8 on the morning we were due to check out!
The service and food in the hotel restaurant were not nearly as good as in 2005 - I had to send a steak dinner back but must say, Gengis was most helpful in getting me a replacement and not charging for my meal.
Despite all of he above, we will return to this hotel at some point, but not this year. We will read the reviews from 2007 and decide if we should go in 2008.

This was our first time in Turkey couldn’t have a chosen a better place to stay. Hotel was clean and ideal location. The bar staff and entertainers were absolutely fabulous, so friendly do anything for you.
Food and drink were fairly cheap. Sunbeds were a bit of a nuisance every morning there were towels on the beds and no people in sight. We were told not to do this or your towels would be taken off and handed to reception, we never saw this happen.
You only get one toilet roll when you get there after that you have to buy your own. There was a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms so pack your repellent lots of it got bitten every day.
Went to Dalyan the mud baths highly recommend this great day out. Don’t book with the reps very expensive, book with the locals shop around for the best deals we paid 9 pound for adults and the kids went for free.
We ate out every night Jackie’s bar was the best food we found, also Tierna,s Irish bar. Andy’s sexy bar was a good night out, but keep your eyes on your girlfriends or wives. Fairly cheap on the main road but if you go down by the marina it tends to get a bit more expensive.
Would definitely go back again trying Greece next year.
It,s also a good idea to take English money with you and change it when you get there you get more for your money. Would like to thank Cengis, Mert, Esra, and all the rest of the staff for a lovely holiday and see you all soon.

I went with my nan and grandad who came with me my brother sister mum dad and mate.
Its defiantely a hotel I remember though.
The pool's got a slide, and it seemed to keep my little brother entertained for hours!
Due to the size of the hotel, there where loads of people there.
Not too many though so it was overcrowded. it was just nice.
You can tell its a family hotel, because there were loads of young children and teenagers there.
I was 16 when i went, and I met a massive group of mates there who I went out with at night and that.
Theres also... for us older teens, clubs in marmaris itself liek on the beach front. One in particular I remember had a foam party! And you can just get the dolmus down there its only cheap and is regular.
The hotel staff did a water aerobics class everyday and the splash dance in the pool which was so much fun!
It really was an amazing holiday.
Theres also the Little Rock bar under the stairs, which was a good hide for me and my mates, and we made some good mates with the staff there.
I dont know what's changed sicne I went cos it was two years ago, but I would definitely go back there, it was without a doubt the best holiday I've been on!

The hotel is only a 10 min walk from the town centre snd the hotel was very clean and fun to be at when you are there. The staff try there best to keep everyone happy but there isn't much good entertainment at the hotel. I might consider going back to the hotel though...
