| said: This is the 3rd year running that we have spent 1/2 term at the hotel Nautilus. We travelled as a group of 14 family and friends.
The hotel has not changed much since it's takeover by Grupo Playa Sol chain - apart from new furniture in the lobby!
Ruben and his wife Isabella (Animation) are no longer at the hotel and the new chap seems to be very quiet in comparison! What little entertainment we saw was unfortunately dire!! There was so much entertainment going on in the bay itself that we didn't spend nights at the hotel.
Rooms remain basic in their furniture, but are kept very clean. The 'Head Housekeeper' followed the maids each morning and inspected the rooms.
Again this year the pool area and the public areas of the hotel (including toilets), were always immaculate.
Food again is lacking in choice, but what there is is appetising.
For as little as 4Euros, you can have a full English breakfast at the 'Yorkshireman' and the restaurant directly opposite the Nautilus, does evening specials for 7.50Euros. We found that having a couple of meals out during the week broke up the cycle of buffet food, which, however much choice is available, can, by the very nature of it, become repetitive.
Unfortunately, we had an evening when the water ran cold and the following day the water packed in completely. As far as I am concerned this was through no fault of the hotel as the bars down the road were also without water.
However, the British contingent at the hotel (and they were in the majority this year), took it upon themselves to complain in a loud, rude and intimidating manner to the reception staff. This culminated in a large number of guests being moved to the newly refurbished hotel San Remo, just down the road. I have to say I was quite disgusted with the 'pack mentality' of some of the guests who weren't prepared to allow for an event outside of the hotels control. Luckily, our party found the water issue to be quite funny and it didn't detract from the wonderful time we all had again this year.
We would definitely visit this hotel again, mainly for its excellent location and safe, friendly atmosphere both at the hotel and in the bay itself.

| said: The hotel cleanliness was of an average standard. But was not a 4 star. We were told by the rep that they are discontinuing to use this hotel next season. (That tells it all)
The food was basic and wasnt much option for the kids as we were told.
Location was right on the (small) beach but if you have a room on the left hand side then you will be greeted by huge amount of chicken and cockrills crowing all day a night
Staff were ok
Entertainment was ********************
The decor was very old and dirty in places.
The brochure and adverts were very cleverly put across but cameras can do magic things.
I would not rate this hotel at 4 stars. I would say 2 stars is a better score.

| said: Our first "hotel" holiday with our one year old son and I wasn't impressed. This is supposed to be a 4* hotel, and it really does not live up to it.
The rooms are kept fairly clean.
The food isn't bad (although I would have liked to see more fresh fruit available).
I can't knock the location, it's right on the beach which was lovely in the evening when sitting out on the terrace with a drink in hand.
The staff had their moments; I found the people clearing tables in the restaurant lovely, always happy and made a fuss of our little boy, the bar staff however never seemed as happy to help.
We're not really interested in the entertainment but some of it seemed really quite dire - other people seemed to be enjoying it so it could be a matter of taste!
Overall, it's not a bad hotel if all you're expecting is 2*-3*. Really needs updated ratings.

The food was okay, the rooms were very basic and the enertainment was terrible what we saw.
This is not a 4* Hotel at best it is a 2/3* But it is loctaed on the beach and in a quiet part of town. The hotel was in need of a comment re-decoration both inside and out!

| said: This was my second stay at the Nautilus, and the hotel met all my expectations. Difference this year is the all-inclusive bar finishes at 23.30.
Cleanliness of the hotel has been maintained and the food, although still limited in choice, is more than adequate and appealing.
Entertainment was lacking in the hotel this year, a parrot show and Brazilian dancers, and bingo in various languages. However, there is much to keep you occupied in the evenings right outside the hotel.
Sit and watch the sunset from the hotel terrace with a cool drink, and chill out to the atmosphere of Ibiza!
Would most definitely return to this hotel.

| said: Hotel was exceptionally clean and spacious.
Rooms were large with very comfortable beds. Could possibly do with refurbishment, but kept very clean by the unobtrusive maids.
Our party of 2 lone parents and 4 children had no problems with noise or disturbance at night.
Restaurant was large, light and airy with comfortable chairs. Not a huge variety of food, but well presented and appetizing.
Pool area, although small was well maintained. No need to reserve sunbeds, even in high season. The beach is immediately adjacent to the hotel and quite safe for children to swim in - for older children, you can watch them safely on the beach from the terrace. A host of watersports are available - try the 'flyer', it's great fun!
A water taxi runs every half hour from the jetty across to San Antonio - great fun in the evening - and costs approx 2Euros each, the last one departing at 24.00.
Plenty to occupy children (and adults) at the hotel both daytime and evening. The hotels animation team run various sports and activities. Evening entertainment was the usual all-inclusive affair, however, a host of bars, restaurants and discos were within easy reach via the water taxi, or just outside the hotel.
Although we stayed at the hotel during the peak season, we never experienced queing at the bars and restaurant. The only niggle I can think of is that drinks are served in plastic glasses in the evening.
Overall, this is an excellent, value for money hotel, catering for European visitors, with something to suit every kind of holidaymaker.
We would definitely return to this hotel and recommend you try it for yourselves and I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!!
