| said: We stayed in the Ereso in August of this year and had a great time. The first impression was a good one as the hotel looked spotless as we walked through the door. Check in was fast and the Thomson Rep assisted us into the lifts with our luggage which we thought was a nice touch. Our room was a bit small for the four of us but was very comfortable. Towels were changed only when we left them on the floor as the card in the bathroom requested but we had to keep the same bed linen for the week for some reason. There is a card in the room that says to leave the card off the beds if you want the sheets changed which I did as I had a small nosebleed overnight and needed clean sheets. However, despite asking at reception, the sheets did not get changed. There's a safe in the room which you can hire for 2 euro a day and we also hired a fridge for 3 euro a day to keep water and cold drinks in.
The food is very good at the Ereso. It's hot and tasty and we had a couple of themed evenings during our week stay. The Mexican night was my favourite but over all, I would have preffered a larger choice especially at Dinner. The bacon at breakfast was way too overcooked. It was dry rather than crispy. The staff are friendly in there too and we never had a problem getting a table. I just wish the same could be said for the sunbeds around the pool. We never secured one in the morning once during our stay as we refuse to join the 6am rush. So we waited until the afternoon before using the pool and there were a few spare beds dotted around by that time. The pool is just painted concrete and looked a bit shabby. The kids also complained that if the water went in their mouth that it tasted horrible. I certainly couldn't smell the chlorine so maybe adding some more would be a good thing.
The hotel is the first one as you enter Es Cana and is in a good location for everything. It's at the top of an incline and just across the road from the mini fair and within walking distance of all the popular bars. The staff here are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
I have to say that I disagree with a recent review that only gives the entertainment one point. If you didn't really try it how can you say it was just for kids? The evening started with the party dances for the kids before a FREE game of bingo was played. (That's a first) Then we were treated to some excellent acts. These certainly were not just for the kids with balancing acts, knive throwing, singers and Brazilian Dancing!
All in all, despite finding prices in the resort a touch expensive (that's the Euro for you) we would recommend the Ereso if you are looking for a fairly priced no fuss holiday.

| said: Just back from the Ereso.
Food was very nice but to be honest no more nicer than other 3* hotels we have stayed in typical full cooked english breakfast ( over cooked bacon ) or continental breakfast - toast jams cereals etc coffee tea juice free but for breakfast only - as full board and for the price you pay i would expect at least water/juice to be free during meal times.
Lunch and dinner nice selection but lots of the same every and if there for 2 weeks towards the second week it does get samey but this happens in most places.
meal times
breakfast 8.00am - 10.00am
lunch 1.00pm - 3.00pm
dinner 7.00pm - 9.30pm
Evening entertainment very good with excellent acts - music etc stops deadon 12am midnight due to Ibiza rules of no noise after 12am bar open till 1.00am on the dot.
Safety boxes 2 euros a day
fridges 3 euros a day ( recommended!! )
Hotel is immaculate and rooms air cond 16 degrees and very much needed in August plus ceiling fan
Plenty wardrobe space bring extra coathangers.
lifts were a problem when waiting to go down for evening dinner.
Pool side toilets could do with being cleaned more often as we often went in and came straight back out again!
Pools are okay but with a strict no inflatables this includes no swimming rings for children if you wanted to be in the pool with your children you rather had to hold them in your arms all the time or use the baby pool which is lovely but we would have liked to have had our little one in the bigger pool with us sometimes! complete with swimming rings etc :-)
Animation team are fantastic and work extremely hard 10/10 for you!!
Maids work VERY hard and are ever so friendly same with the dining room staff they are never still and work very hard!! The staff are a credit to the hotel.
Bar prices expensive! local supermarket much better - 1.75 for 1 litre cold water which was only 37 cents in the super market! ice creams from 1.20 euros 1.60 for half a coke 1.40 for a coffee (very small cup ) 2.60 for local pint 3.30 for pint of magners.
pop down the road to Apache where ALL drinks are buy one get one free - magners 2 for 4.75 cocktails 2 for 6 euros ( huge spirit measures! ) or local beer 2 pints for 2 euros and actually a nice pint! or 2 halfs pepsi for 2.50.
Resort of Es Cana though very nice in the evening looks quite dated/tired/shoddy during day light lots of graffiti on the way from the airport. Pavements not pushchair friendly so beware - roads /pavements dusty/grubby quite a lot of litter around.
Little funfair just down the road reasonable prices and the little ones loved it!
Quite a lot of elderly visitors who i often saw tutting and complaining about young children - this is a family hotel if you want no noise from children then i suggest going to an adults only hotel.
I loved to see the kids teens and younger having a fantastic time and children make noise its a simple fact.
Overall a wonderful holiday - would we go back - no the worlds a big enough place to keep visiting the same hotels - would we recommend the Ereso - yes definitely.
P.S The first choice rep who collected us for the airport was extremely rude - never spoke to anyone she collected and it was the final pick up where she collected a male collegue where he finally got on the mic to speak to us all and hoped we had all enjoyed Ibiza etc..
Oh and if your the first pick up like we were - you wont get ANY time for duty free shopping at the airport - picked up at 7.45am 1 hour 45mins picking others up arrived at Ibiza airport at 9.30am got out of checkin queue at 10.20am - upstairs to security and straight down to the waiting bus for the plane - take off at 10.55am - highly recommend at taxi to the airport 25 mins and only 33 euros!!
Don't pay extra for a pool/sea view we emailed and requested one or the other and the room we got we had a pool view with side sea view - excellent!

| said: We booked on the Internet through Thomson, have been to Ibiza before, but not to Es Cana.
Overall, a very good quality 3 star Hotel, the staff work very hard to keep the hotel clean, rooms cleaned daily, public areas spotless.
There are 3 lifts, but a couple were out of order some of the time, which was a bit annoying for those on the 6th, (top) floor.
Food was very good for a 3 star hotel, all meals buffet style, something to please all tastes, if you love your puddings, then this is the hotel for you..!!
Staff generally very friendly and helpful, unlike previous reviews, we had no problems with the bar staff, service was good, drinks were a tad more expensive than you would pay at local bars, but that's to be expected. We rented a fridge from the hotel at 3 euros per day and kept it topped up with drinks from the supermarket.
Entertainment was OK, Kevin worked very hard to please everybody, and there were a couple of good shows during our weeks stay.
The 2 Thomson reps at the Hotel, (Tom & Mark), were exceptional, very helpful and knowledgeable.
All in all, a good quality 3 star hotel in a good location.

| said: Just returned from 2 weeks at the Hotel Ereso only 2 complaints not enough sunbeds if you were not up early
you didnt get one as people put towels on them and some didnt return till afternoon even though the hotel stated no sunbeds were to be reserved. Children were allowed to run round on the stage and the dance floor whilst the adult entertainment was on and despite requests from the artist/s to the parents to stop them their pleas were ignored and even the animation staff did nothing to prevent this. But having said that the hotel is excellent, staff friendly, air con was a god send as it was very very hot whilst we were there, food was very good varied and plenty of it as my expanded waistline now shows. This hotel is great for people with families and for couples. Our Thomson reps, sorry, holiday advisors as they are now called were excellent Tom and Mark, always cheerful and very helpful a credit to Thomsons they worked really hard.

A small but cosy hotel with a decent buffet selection of food.
Both swimming pools were clean and adequate.
All staff encountered appeared willing to solve any issues, though my wife and I fortunately were never faced with any problems.
A short walk to the shops and beach, as well as many cafes/restaurants.

Hotel was spotlessly clean, room was spacious even with 3 beds in. Found the hotel staff pretty friendly, reception always happy to help.
Day time entertainment was good, although I got the feeling the animation team weren't happy all of the time!
Didn't see much of the evening entertainment but what we did see we weren't very impressed with! Lots to do outside of the hotel anyway. Loved the Kentucky Derby just across the road. John and Sandra are lovely and make you want to go back every night for a game of horse racing!!!
Looking forward to returning to Es Cana, and probably staying at the Ereso.

The food was fabulous and there was lots of choice for both adults and children. The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. The hotel ran an excellent childrens club so big thank you to Kevin, Monika and Susanna who made the holiday really enjoyable for our 5 year old daughter. The only disappointment was that bar staff were occasionally rude and were not very interested in serving you. Overall we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel for families and couples.

| said: I returned from the hotel Eroso a week ago, myself and my fifteen yearold son.I normally book 4star and above when I go on holiday, but we booked late and this one came up, I read the reviews and decided to go for it.The Hotel rated a 2 star was very nice we had a room overlooking the pool, airconditioning and a overhead fan made our nights very comfortable. The food I cannot fault I enjoyed everymeal there was plenty of variety and the fish and sald dishes were beautiful. The rooms were clean.I did not have much to do with the staff as we were out everyday.Mainly fishing and sightseeing.Although I found the bar staff at the outside pool a little lets say (give us your money and a tip now go, next please?)There is one dissapointing aspect of the whole holiday that would have made me mad, if I had used the pool area which fortunately I am not the type to lay in the sun from dawn to dusk cooking slowly to show all my friends and neghbours how well done I was on my return to the UK.But its hard to believe that people make a point of getting up early to put their towels on a sun lounger and there it stays all day even if they decide to have a walk around the town,I call them the 2star people they know who they are and shame on them. But the Hotel does nothing about it even though it's in their brochure stating that towels will be removed if they are left on the sun loungers. But as this didn't really interfere with my holiday i would recommend the Hotel for families and couples.

Bar staff were the only staff who let this fine hotel slip a bit, because they can be very touchy, and very off with the customers and other staff. Didn't bother us much as we were out, and didnt spend much time at the bar but when we did, they seemed this way. All in all, fantastic family holiday. You can really see why this hotel has won the gold award every year since 1999, and it deserves it this year. Would definately return.

| said: Myself and my boyfriend decided to book a holiday at the Ereso in Ibiza after having been there a couple of years back.
The location of Ereso was perfect for me and my boyfriend, only a short walk to the beach, although the better beach was just past Hotel Cala Nova which was a nice 10 min walk and definitely worth it. Ereso is located at the highest point in Es Cana enabling some wonderful Sea views if at the front of the hotel.
Ereso was great once again, the food was excellent and there was always alot of choice. The rooms were of a standard size but who wants to stay in their room all day anyway? The rooms were cleaned once a day if you left the sign on the door, towels would be changed everyday, bed linen changed etc.
Ereso have 2 swimming pools, with a sufficient amount of sunbeds, its just a shame that if you plan to stay around the pool all day, you have to reserve a sunbed pretty early.
The staff were very efficient, and at times could seem a little grumpy, but they did a marvellous job. The Entertainment was good, always something going on in the day, although didn't spend much time around the hotel in the day.
Entertainment in the Evenings was great, more so for children I would imagine, but this was no problem at all as there is plenty of choice down the road.
All in all, the ereso is a fantastic hotel, and have in fact got a 2 week stay booked for July. I would recommend Ereso for all ages.

Food - always plenty of choice and i think the food is cooked very well, the childrens selection a little more limited. Location - the hotel is situated on a slight slope about a 3 minute walk from the beach in Es Cana there are shops directly around the hotel. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the beach at Cala Nova and about a 30 minute walk to Cala Lleyna (which is a beautiful beach, really clean and lots of waves). Staff - all the staff are helpful and polite, they all work really hard. Entertainment - evening usual magic shows and parrot shows, some nights were ok other nights awful, there's always Charlies Bar! day time - i found this years entertainers not as good as last years however there was still darts, waterpolo etc, not as much activities for the kids this year.

It was fantastic in every way. It is the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in 4 star. All the staff are very friendly and are very helpful.
The room was spotless and bedding changed twice and towels every day. Always a sunbed to be had by the pool.
I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends...in fact I already have....and I would join the band of people who go every year.
Food was good but could have been more choice. The soups were delicious. The location was perfect if you dont mind a very slight incline from the beach, it wasnt too bad, I am 60 and my husband 69 and we managed.
Shops were practically on the doorstep for papers, gifts, tobacco and spirits to take home.
Entertainment in hotel was mixed, but lots of other places to go,

Food is generally good, plentiful and varied, although our 8 year old son at times found it difficult to find things he liked. The Thursday night special carvery was especially noteworthy.
The pool area was generally very good and in early season sunbeds were plentiful. There was also a permenant lifeguard who was observant without been a killjoy.
The kids entertainment guy was very enthusiastic and our 8 year old thought he was great. Did`nt stop in the hotel for the evening entertainment but the impression I got is that it was adequate without been fantastic.
All in all, a decent, clean, well run family/older couple orientated hotel.

Food choose is adequate, and caters for most tastes. Thursday is La Grande night, this is at no extra cost, and is excellent.
Normal entertainment events during the day, and evening entertainment varies each night, again enjoyable.
Could do with more sun beds.
Again this is what I can only decribe as a family friendy hotel, and is good value for money.

| said: On arriving at Ibiza airport we were given the coach number for transfer.... then we were abandoned. We and other travellers had to "guess" where the bus would stop next with no announcement of the hotel on arrival. Once arrived our room wasn't ready so we had to wait 1 hour. The hotel was spotless, constantly cleaned and the towels and bedding was changed everyday.
The food was ok but after 14 days got repetitive but I expect that would be the same wherever you stayed after 14 days!!
The big let down for this hotel is the pool area. It was rather like a back yard. Plenty of tables and chairs in the daytime but not enough sunbeds and if you didn't get up at the crack of dawn to get down to put your towel out you'd had it! It would have been better to stack 80% of the table and chairs in the day and put more sunbeds out. The tables and chairs could always be put out at night.
The entertainment was good (for kids). The entertainment team never stopped which sometimes was a bit of a pain. If you like Butlins then you'll love this hotel but personally we didn't really like it and won't be going back.

| said: Hotel Ereso is the best hotel I've ever stayed in! We are going back again because we enjoyed it so much.
The food was absolutely fabulous. There was a gala dinner every Thursday which had unusual foods! There was so much to choose from.
The pools were excellent. They were so clean and they never got really busy. Some days they'd do activites in the pool for example making the biggest splash! It was fun!
The bar staff were very polite and also the entertainers were the best! They always made activites fun and always had a laugh with you! The night entertainment was great...they had circus, dancers, fire breathers, cabarets and all sorts! It was the best entertainment I've ever seen! On a night you could go out and then come back for the evening entertainment. They had childrens discos at 7 and then if they had time they'd do quizzes and after the evening entertainment theyd always keep you entertained.
The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms were extremely clean.
They had internet access but there weren't enough computers because you had to queue sometimes for about 20 minutes just for 10 minutes on a computer!
It was really safe to walk around on your own and I felt very protected in the hotel. There were lots of familys so there was always plenty of people to be friends with.
All in all it was the best hotel I've ever stayed in and would definitely go again!

Food great, we were upgraded to full board and lunch was far more than we expected. Plenty of choice.
Rooms were spotless, if alittle on the small side.
Ceiling Fan did the trick, did not miss not having air con
Pool and surroundoing area were lovely, just be aware of the "Early morning Sun bed reservation gangs"...and the British are the main offenders.
Did not see the Eve entertainment, but heard is was "OK". The daytime annimation team work hard to get people to join in, there seemed alot going on.(there was stuff for the kids to get involved in too)
When we were there, it was mainly English and Italian guests, (in Equal No's) and a small amount of German and French
Opposite the Hotel is a sign for Calla Nova..10-15 mins walk to a FAB beach, and a couple of beach bars, go there rather than the main one.
Enjoy this lovely hotel.

Spotlessly clean, towels and beds changed every day.food was great something for everyone. Location was spot on two minute walk from the beach, just left our towels and went back for dinner, saved a lot of money during the day.
Hotel staff where always pleasant and the entertainment staff where really good with the kids, always something going on.
Entertainment at night was a bit dodgey but kids liked it. Didnt really matter as loads going on just down the road.
The only disappointment was the rooms were very small but we where never in it only to shower and sleep as there werent enough hours in the day.
Cant wait to go again.

| said: This is my 2nd visit to this hotel, and yet again I wasn't disappointed.
The hotel is spotless and rooms cleaned daily.
All the staff are really friendly and helpful.
There is always plenty of choice at meal times, the food is cooked plainly, but it's good, and there is always something for the children, pizza, chicken nuggets or fish fingers, and of course lots of salads and a good selection of desserts.
There are two swimming pools with an outside bar, coin operated pool tables and a park.
The daytime entertainment is good, dart, pool, soccer and water polo competitions. Some of the evening entertainment was really good, singer/comedians etc, there were a few dodgy nights, but each to their own, and there is always plenty to do outside the hotel.
The morning towel run is a little annoying, don't people on holiday want a lie in? However, on our 2nd week they did bring out new beds and umbrellas which did help a little.
We visited late July early August when there were a few really hot days, and to be honest, we didn't have a problem sleeping without air conditioning. We slept with the patio doors open and the fan on, and we didn't wake once from being to hot. There is air conditioning in reception, so you can always go in and sit inside to cool down during the day.
I'll be booking to go back to the Ereso for the 3rd time next year.

Definitely recommend for a great family holiday

The hotel is spotless and the food is fantastic cannot believe it is still a 2* rating. Everything in resort is on the doorstep (if you ever need to leave hotel!)
My son especially enjoyed kids club this year, so a special thanks to Angie and Michelle. Entertainment on in hotel everynight, so overall something for all to enjoy. In my opinion it would be hard to find another hotel that caters for families the same way that this one does.
Will definitely go back again.

| said: We have just come back from 1 week in this hotel and we had the best time ever.
We took our daughters age 5 and 9 months and the hotel was excellent for them, so very clean...in fact I went to the reception one morning and there was 9 cleaners just cleaning reception and to be honest it really didn’t need it...the whole place was spotless.
Rooms are cleaned every day and you get fresh towels daily if you wish. Beds are made and everything tidied up....excellent.
The food was great too, lots of choice as my daughter is sooooo fussy but she ate well, the gala dinner which they have weekly was lovely.
The location of the hotel was fine, a very short walk to the beach, shops etc, less than 2 minutes walk. All good shops selling gifts etc, they also sell lots of English food if you’re stuck, which I doubt very much!!!!
The staff....well what can I say they are so helpful and friendly, the entertainment was great too. My daughter joined the kids club, ran by Angie and Michelle, and she loved it....even cried when we came home, the kid’s reps even made an effort to wave her off to soften the blow.
Evening entertainment was great so looks like its improved, every night we had something, which was good.
We only went out at night once just to have a look, and yeah it was good, bit no different from hotel to be honest.
The pools where lovely, cleaned everyday and loads of sunbeds, plenty of sunny and shady areas so you can decide where to sit. Also a terrace to sit or lounge away from the pools if you wish.
Overall.....a great hotel, and yeah we will go back, and we highly recommend this hotel and resort to families.

We booked a family room for 5. This was a big room. We had five full size single beds, we were only expecting 2 with the rest made up of put you ups! We had a seaview. The rooms were cleaned everyday, and the staff were all excellent.
The restaurant, well what can I say, the food that was offer was variable and always, always, great tasting. We are all vegetarian and we found something at every meal that we could eat, and it wasn't just salad! We had veg lasagne, veg pizza, vegetable pie! and those puddings well how could we resist!
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

| said: 1st time I've done full board and thought it was exellent, because you're getting a meal at lunchtime you don't feel that you have to stuff yourself at breakfast or dinner.
The food was nice, nothing fancy, but nicely cooked and a decent choice.
The hotel was spotless in all areas. The lack of air con in the rooms was a bit tough in high season but the other inside areas of the hotel were air conditioned so we soon cooled down. The bar was great - cheaper than many hotels I've stayed in and the bar staff very good.
The entertainment was the usual stuff - but don't stay in for the parrot show if it's on when you go(the shows host arrived 20 minutes late, spent 1/2 hour taking the birds round and tried badgering people into having their photos taken with them, the show then lasted about 15 mins - and was rubbish! - then he had another 1/2 hour going round with camera again.
The pools are great, plenty of room, sunbeds and brollies for those who needed them.
Not the poshest hotel I've stayed in but certainly one the cleanest, friendliest and definitely excellent value for money. Was amazed how many returning visitors there were, and I will be one of them.

We was there 11 days and the maids was in cleaning the room every other day.
The hotel location was great because the beach was 5 minutes walking distance. It was on the corner at the top of the road. Plently of night life for all ages. Not that far if hire a car to Ibiza town. The Hippy market was 10-15 miuntes away end of the road and round the corner great atmosphere.
The staff was polite. The enterainment was excellent through out the day, lots of activities to do in the day time like water polo at 3p.m at the top pool. Mini disco for the kids at night then the show at 10 o'clock.
Going next year to see all of the staff especially sam the entertainer. Great laugh.

| said: Hotel Ereso is situated at the bottom of an incline on a main road, it is within walking distance of the resort centre and beach.
The food at the Ereso is excellent for a 2* hotel, in the week we stayed we had different food for each lunch and dinner the only downside is the poor in comparison breakfasts and I would recommend going into the resort for breakfast.
Entertainment in the week we was in the Ereso was terrible, only one act called Me and Him who made numerous mistakes during their songs, if it was not for the Thomson Reps we would have had no entertainment at all - so in 7 nights only 1 ACT and two very poorly organised nights one a Karaoke night (with technical problems) and one Quiz night which the compare could not be heard because the microphones were too low.
Bar prices are cheaper outside near the pool then in the bar, a pint of lager inside is €2.10 and outside it is €1.50, same with long drinks inside €3.30 and outside €2.70.
The pools are excellent but the steps of the kiddy pool are dangerous - one 3 year old girl got her head stuck in between the steps and nearly drown if it wasn't for the quick thinking of an adult near the kiddy pool she may of - her mum was too busy getting a tan then looking after her kids - blonde bimbo.
Hotel at the beginning of May was full of Spanish Pensioners on their free holidays and as they were present they did not like the children disturbing their card playing sessions or any of the Brits making any noise whatsoever.
I would go back to the Ereso but not in quiet season when the pensioners are present, in mid season and high season this hotel is excellent.
