| said: When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff at reception who were prompt to get us booked in and to our room. Room was clean with no faults. Maid came in every day to change towels(if needed) and was very friendly. Breakfast, dinner and evening meal were all served in the traditional buffet style which surprisingly did not effect the quality of the food. Some of the meals seemed repetitive but there was enough choice for something different each day. Snacks were served outside at the bar all day where you could get burgers, hotdogs, chips, toastes, salade, ice cream plus others.
The hotel pool was cleaned each day and you were able to get a thin matress for your sunbed (enough for everyone. There was a small private beach where only residents could use. Kayaks were available to use for a few hours each morning which we really enjoyed, not forgetting to take bread to feed the fish, its good fun!
Entertainment both during the day and on the evening was to a high standard. During the day there was a kids club and for the adults you could play darts, have a go at archery, shotting or french bowls. There was also ping pong competitions and if you were feeling adventurous you could maybe go mountain biking which was good fun, but only until you got back to the hotel. The ride just points out how unfit you are and lets you know how much you drank the night before but surprisingly we enjoyed it overall. On the evening there was a mini disco for the kids then a game of bingo then about 10pm the entertainers would put a act on, some included disco night, grease night, sketches, western night, blues brothers(unmisable). I m sure that everyone who watched the acts thoroughly enjoyed their night.
We would definately go back to this hotel in the future!

lots of things to do, for both adults and childrens. Shame we didnt buy the CD-kids loved the "ch ch oua" song in the mini disco, and keep singing it, but we cant find it anywhere on internet-someone please help? Please!
overall, would recommend this for a really nice relaxing break. In Oct, it was quiet and relaxing, but not sure how it would be in the summer, tho.

| said: this is the second time we have visted this hotel the food are still the same 5 stars in my eyes
the entertainment has changed since 2 years ago the hotel there are competitions on the day for both adult and childern at night time there is a mini disco for the little kids and you can buy the cd of it for 12 euros and then its bingo when you win for a line is a bottle of bubble and a club t-shrit and then the price for the full house is some money and then after that about 5 mins later the entertainment starts and after the enterainment as finsh there is a club song which everone goes on to the stage for thats normally a clue to go in side as the entertaines come lookin for u but its a billnt song and the kids will love it but if u want to sit close to the stage than u have to hurry dinner or go in right at the start orelse u can find no where to sit or u can do want i did and go to the snake bar at 5:50 and than sit there playing cards with your self or sometimes a entertainer come over and plays with you but a warning u have to wait for 3 hours before anything happens but there is allways music playing then after that its goes inside and the kids can dnce away with the female entertaines until there is noone where so thats good there are so many stuff to do in the daytime u can play pool to down to the beach which is down some lot of staries where u can go out in a rowing boat for free and u can go sailing that opens from 10:30am to 1 pm than 3:30am to 5pm you can go out as far as u want but be carefully as there are boats comeing in and out where the last bit of land there is theres alot of wavesin the afternoon abput 4 or u can just sit on the beech and then face a long way back up the staries unelse u do want i did an find a shrotcut through some brushes there are 2 pools the main one which is allways packed with childern and alot of noise and than theres a bottom pool which is sometimes nice or you can go and play football with other people which the entertaines do and that good fun you can go and meet some know people and before u know it you hang around with them
u can also play ping-pong(table tennis) tennis vollyball u can go mountain bikeing and they give u a bike and helment and u go with a enterainer called willy but everone calls him Mr mountain as they dont know is real name the wemon entertaines are nice if u know what i mean
location is perfect with a beach in the hotel or u can walk down a peaceful road to a another beach where u can pay to have pedalos or if u keep on walking there s another beach which is called the neglish beach as there is only english people u can go on water skies, one person doughnut which is fun,two perosn doughnut which i went on with my step-brother and we are both big lads go can go quick and your ass afterwoods fells liek its been punched by mike tyson in a boing match for 7 sounds but its fun, you can go on a 3 perosn doughnut, sumo(which u jump in and hold to a bar and the boat man take u for a little jurney but u have to be apple to hold on tight tho or u can go on bananaboat
its good if u take only the money u know you are going to spend and nothing else as if u dont want to walk up the road than you can do what me and my step-brother did and swim across to the hotel which takes if u stop about 10 mins if u a good swimmer and dont sop it will take u about 5 mins as on the way there is a little cave or if u want to go up the road then you can jump over the wall and u inside the hotel
hotel staff are bill at the recption they can help with everthing from LOST PASTPORTS (they dont do it for you they get in contact to someone for u)to exchanging money, giving u change giveing, u informaion about place u might want to go, ring up taixes for u, at the bar there bill they need to learn it bit more but i fell for them haveing to know so many languages and then these us bitish people who speek with so many differnt accent to the way we say stuff the restaurant staff need to learn some manners as i staff try to pass me and i spilt my tea down someones nice dress
the cleanes on the over hand need to learn to knock wait knock again then come in not knock wait then come in as when me and my girlfreind where sleeping we both had only our underwhere on and we were on top of the sheets she just walking in and saw us than just walk out not a sorry or anything and they also need to know english a lot more
when i went we had 4 rooms 1 double for my dad and my step-mum another double for me and my girlfreind and then a 1 singe and then a twin the room very close but i and my girlfreind where on another blook we had the same rooms as 2 years ago which my dad put in a email he sent to the hotel
it was my girlfreind frist time on hoilday to ibiza with us and she loved it and we are both planning to come back when i am 18
fanstic place to come with children wouldn't recommend this for single people as there is nothing to do when your on your own but hay i meant my girlfreind there when she came with here mum 2 years ago and we started talking on the plane as i was siting next to her and her mum and i went on the mini-bus with them while my dad and step-mum went in a taxi and our rooms where next to each other and after that we spent all our hoiday with each other and i went places with her mum and she went place with my dad so it was fun and than at the end she told me she lives in nottingham which is like a 30 mins-1 hour away from me and ever since we have never spent a day alone so her mum paid for her and me to go on hoilday with her for her birthday but we wern't alound to go on our own as we are only 15 so my dad and step-mum and her two kids and my sister came aswell
i loved ever min of my hoilday

Our room too near Entertainment stage, a lot of noise late evening. Location is very pleasant, overlooking the bay and nice that is not a highrise block hotel. Hotel staff not particularly friendly, although Entertainment team worked very hard throughout the day for the children and produced a very good show every evening. This hotel is geared very much towards families and therefore for a quiet relaxing holiday we would not visit this hotel again.

The food was delicious throughout the days, changing everyday!
The entertainers were absolutely excellent! Words can not possible explain how amazed we were, they all spoke at least five languages so there was no problem in communication, and the shows they put on were unbelievable, Olivier (director of entertainment) was hilarious, had us in stitches, and Nicky (chief entertainer) was amazing ;)
Overall the best holiday I have been on, already planned to go back next year.

So we unpacked then went to the restuant, there were 5 plates laid with some snacks, I thought this was very kind because most hotels don't do that. The rooms are very clean, but a bit small. This didn't bother us as we were rarely in them. The food was nice and there was always a different choice of meat fot teatime. For lunch there was hamburgers and hot dogs and toasties and salads and chips and pasta. The location was nice and only a ten minute walk from hotel was the town portinatx. Lovely bar called vincents and quite a few shops. Breakfast - cereal, toast or cooked. The staff were kind and chatty and you can even get a cake for someones birthday. The entertainment was amazing. The animation staff talk to you at the snack bar in the day and are hilariously funny on stage at night. There are shows where people join in and some based on films like chicago.
Overall it was a brilliant stay and we are going again. It was our first time all-inclusive and it was very good. We were extremely sad to go home.

| said: Perfect location, splendid views. Hotel has own small private beach and all inclusive beach bar. Main pool a good size and very clean, but the shallow end sloped too deeply and may children slipped and fell whilst we were there. The tiles around the edge were also quite slippery.
Food was excellent, both for variety and quality.Only complaint was the desserts were not varied. The entertainment was perfect for children, and the entertainers really dedicated but we did get fed up with bingo evry night. The adult entertainment was ok.
Hotel very clean, however there was no protection over the outdoors buffet from flies which were in abundance. A few health and safety issues need addressing ie low walls with steep drops one side, hidden ' rock features' in the pool, and the slippery tiles. Also not suitable for those with mobility problems or children in pushchairs as there are flights of steps everywhere due to the place being bulit on a hill. The restaurant is also up on the first floor with no lift.
Accomodation is basic but clean and a maid service is offerered daily. Bar staff, shop staff and especially the restaurant staff are a bit moody but entertainment and reception staff and the maids were all super and couldnt be more welcoming.
Overall a lovely place to stay, and i would go again..

The food was plentiful - we have choosy eaters in our party but we always had plenty to eat at each meal. The Hotel is up in the hills and the views when coming in Portinatx in my eyes were breathtaking. The Bar and Restaurant staff were quite rude and had their preference of nationality to serve but it was something that I personally wasnt bothered about. The entertainment staff, well what can I say - They absolutely made my holiday - They work so hard all day and always had smiles on their faces. If you are a family this hotel is the place for you as their aim is to entertain the kids along with the adults - I would definitely go back to this hotel - tomorrow if I could.
Just beware of the private beach - It has lots of Jelly Fish - My Husband got stung 5 minutes after arriving but he was fine. Don't let it stop you Kayaking - Its good fun.

| said: Well I we went here after reading all the other holiday reports so expected it to be quiet but it was OK, at the time we went they had a local festival on all night rave on the Saturday and one of the best firework display I've seen.
The hotel is very nice and the pool excellent the rooms very basic and if you do n't leave the plug's in the bath and sink you will get cocaroches when we complained they said they knew about the promblem with them and came a clean our room your room got cleaned every day.
The bar was OK but the beer was 50% water so you had to stick to shorts which were cheap so we just got our own vodka and just got coke from the bar the food was not the best but you wouldn't stave battered cauliflower?
But so many different nations here so they had to cater for everyone nothing for small children though but the snack bar was OK for the first 2 days then you realise thats all you get cheese toasties and chips.
Breakfast well it wasn't worth getting up for and at dinner time you had to queue for 15 mins for food that wasn't worth it we eat out most nights which you shouldn't have to do on an all inc holiday.
The entertanment team are great and look after the children fantastic but the adult entertainment was poor mimed shows, would I go back?
Maybe for free.

| said: It is about a 40 minute journey from airport to this hotel. Arrived and was quickly checked in and given our all inclusive wristbands. Found our rooms easily thanks to the map and directions given at reception.
Our room was very basic but clean. There was no fridge or kettle and unlike most other hotels you can’t even hire one. So when I say basic I mean basic! Had missed dinner but they put on a snack tray for people arriving late which consisted of fruit, rolls, cheese, meats etc.Quite impressed so far.
Went down to bar and got drinks. Very strong unless you tell them not to pour so much! Beer was awful. Really bitter. Spirits ok and a good selection of liquors and cocktails. Probably the best selection of drinks from an all inclusive I have seen. Shame about the beer.
The entertainment looked strange but as we had just arrived we didn’t take much notice.Maybe if we had we would have asked to be moved hotel! Went to bed and had a good nights sleep as it was so quiet.
Went to breakfast and ARRGH.Yuk,yuk and more yuk.I really didn’t think I was a fussy eater but now I realise I am. ‘Bacon' cut up into small squares, scrambled eggs out of a dried powder mix(we saw them mixing it!)eggs and rolls. No beans, sausages, mushroom etc. If you don't like a cooked breakfast then they have cereal and fruit, but I do and this was horrible. People were eating it so maybe it was just me and my party! Lunch was the same. How many different looking dishes can they make from the leftovers. Believe me LOTS.Didnt even know that beef could be cooked in batter said someone! Always was salad and spaghetti Bolognese but who wants to live off of that for a whole week. Dinner was the same. Worst food for an All Inc I have seen and I have been on 3 others. Eat our breakfast in Del Boys over in Portinatx Town. Proper fry up at only 5 euros.Shouldnt have had to though. It is a pity because the food was the only thing I really hated about this hotel.
The pool areas were lovely. Very clean and plenty of beds. Same old scenario of people booking their beds early and not using them all day but that’s the same everywhere I suppose. There is a snack bar with hamburgers, hot dogs and toasties which the kids loved.(Too many flies buzzing about for me!)Saying that nobody got funny tummies.
The beach is lovely. It is small and maybe in the height of season it would be busy but it was ok when we were there. There is a bar down there and toilet and plenty of places to sit. The sea is so shallow and calm and you can feed the fish. There is kayaking and windsurfing and sailing all included. One of the entertainment team is there most of the time as a lifeguard so its safe for the children. There are numerous activities on all day for all ages.Darts, volleyball, football, tennis, rifle shooting to name a few. This is where the animation team are the best. Cheryl and Kasushia are kids club and they were amazing. They really looked after them.
Evening entertainment. Mmm….Well lets just say that although they did work hard at the shows(Chicago, Oliver etc)it was mimed and not my kind of thing. Quite a few of the guys were a bit like "I love me who do you love!” But I cannot fault how hard they worked and they were friendly.
Bar staff can be abrupt but they are working really hard from morning till night. Reception and restaurant staff are always friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a prime position with amazing views over the bay. It is away from Portinatx, about a 15min walk. No good for people with walking difficulties but this is stated enough times. There are two beaches, the larger being a bit more rowdier water park is situated on the larger of the two with a few slides.
Portinatx itself is quiet with a few bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. You can also hire a car and moped at a couple of places. The glass bottom boat was a good trip and there is banana boats and pedaloes to hire. Quaint and pretty town but quiet.
To sum up I may have sounded a bit harsh but the food at this hotel was very disappointing. It is geared to families and older couples and friends, but it is in a lovely area and couldn’t fault the cleanliness. I would go back if the food changed and evening entertainment was improved.

| said: As soon as we arrived we knew that this would be a good hotel and as we had booked late (one week before) we were really pleased. Everywhere is so clean, even the gardens and small beach.
We had a room (we asked for a high floor when booking)in a block over from the main hotel overlooking the tennis courts and the beautiful bay with views over towards the lighthouse. I can recommend rooms in this block as some of the bungalows in and around the pool and garden area were much smaller (according to other guests) but still clean.
The small beach is reached down about 75 steps but you can stop off half way down and have a sit under the lovely umbrellas and have a drink from the beach bar, (there is even a toilet and sink at this level too). Then its down a few more steps to the small, but lovely sandy beach, where you can sail, kayak and windsurf for free! The water here is so clear and generally very calm (hardly a ripple) and the fish come right in and swim around your legs. Apparently there are jelly-fish around here but we did not see one all week. Although someone was stung, but reception will help you out with some sting relief if you do get stung.
The entertainment was okay, some nights better than ever and the team work very hard and are very friendly, having a drink with you at the bar and chatting around the pool day and night.
The gardens and pool are kept lovely and there were always plenty of sunbeds by pool. The snack bar was open from early morning to just before the evening meal began and it was okay, there was always something to eat but it was not as varied as the dining room
The breakfasts were varied, but could have been slightly better for the British but again, always something to try. I enjoyed lunchtimes the most, the salads were lovely and the evening menu was great with the chefs cooking lots of foot in-front of you at the counter. One evening was Caribbean night which was nice and we even had flambéed fruit for desert. For the men there is even draught beer that you pull for yourself in the dining room lunchtimes and evenings.
We had a great time here. Yes it is on a hill, but this makes for lovely views and yes it is a 15 minute walk into town, but there is little there anyway but 3 more beaches (which are lovely and have boardwalks) but really you don't need to leave the resort if you don't want to.

| said: Arrived there about 4am and were gasping for a drink as there was nowhere to grab one at the airport. Reception pointed us towrads a vending machine near the entrance for bottles of water and cans of pop. (Just have a bit of change ready.)
The room was clean, plenty of storage space under the beds for cases and a decent sized bathroom too. Four single beds pushed together to make two doubles(Mum & dad, 2 kids aged 8 & 10. Maids pop in daily to make the beds & sweep around. If you want clean towels then drop them on the floor or they won't be replaced.
The food was ok, not fantastic though. If you're adventurous and don't mind trying a bit of everything you should be ok.Theres always rice, pasta, salad and chips available together with the hot meals. The kids struggled a bit though, there wasn't much that appealed to them and it wasn't just our kids that felt that way, spoke to a couple of families that said the same. And vegetarians beware - theres meat in the vegetable soup, in the tomato sauce for pasta and in all the rice and pasta salads. Given that the main meals are all meat based too you'll be a bit restricted!
There are steps around the complex and down to the beach but these were expected. The walk down into portinatx town is fine but it's uphill on the way back. Theres a short cut back into the complex from the road (if you can get your leg over a wall!) which makes it a bit more bearable. Hard work if you've got a pushchair but not impossible. Portinatx town is small but has shops, bars & restaurants and two great beaches. If theres been any unsettled weather then you can expect seaweed and jellyfish washing in - my two kids were both stung within seconds of each other about 4 days after a storm and they were only wading waist deep. The lifeguard was with us in minutes and treated both of them. Pretty nasty experience!!
The hotel staff were ok - the guys in the restaurant worked hard clearing tables and left you in peace. Bar staff could be ignorant when they wanted and my advice is don't be polite and wait your turn as you'll be there all night! Get your order in when you can. Receptionists were always helpful with local info. But it's the entertainment staff which impressed me. They never stopped with a full program of stuff to do including taking the kids off your hands for hours on end. Bliss! And the evenings were the best I've ever experienced in a hotel. After a mini-disco and bingo there was always a production on stage with singing, dancing, costumes...the works. Cracking entertainment, very professional.
Aside from the repetitive (and meaty!) food I would definitely visit again.

For lunch and dinner there was always a good choice of food; roast lamb, roast beef, chicken portions, chops, steaks, a variety of fish (cooked in front of you on different nights) a pasta dish and paella every night as well as a huge selection of salads and beautifully cooked vegetables - and that's just what I can remember!
Somebody previously has complained about the breakfast - well it must have improved dramatically! I complimented the Chef on the best scrambled egg I have every tasted! There was also breakfast served on the terrace from 10.15, and snacks i.e. burgers, toasties from 12a.m.if required.
The room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels if you needed them.
The entertainment was fantastic (and as I am involved in a small way in the entertainment business, I tend to be very critical) the animation team worked so hard and were very talented, the costumes were really good also. I cannot praise this hotel enough!

| said: This hotel is very basic, with 1 main bar and small beach bar, only 1 restaurant and 1 small snack area. Coffee lovers beware, only decent coffee is behind the bar and you have to grovel for it.
The swimming pool although clean and well maintained is not very big and poolside loungers are for very early birds only. Majority of staff are friendly especially the younger ones.
The food is of good quality, but if staying for 2 weeks a little repetitive. Catering for children is mainly fries, hamburgers and sausages none of which tasted like home varieties, which was off putting to my children (11 + 13).
Entertainment is excellent for children under 10 with a really good animation team, but there is nothing at all for. older children. Adult entertainment is very limited.

| said: This has been our 2nd stay in 2 years at this brilliant hotel. The entertainment is fantastic day and night but there aren't that many activities for teenagers.
The rooms are lovely and clean and have a ceiling fan which is useful.
The snack bar is good as it is great way to get some dinner without having to go in the restuarant. But there isn't much food that would appeal to children at meal times in the resturant and once again if you dont get in early you have to fight for a clean table.
Overall this is fun lively hotel where you can try out lots of new activities and we absoloutley loved this hotel despite the downside of it being so busy.

| said: Wonderful views, up a hill a few hundred metres out of the main resort, but not a problem. Very relaxing, quiet holiday, hotel was clean and well cared for, including the grounds.
The food was nice, similar to many buffets we have had before, lots of variety and snacks available all day which was good if you didn't want to bother going into the restaurant at lunch. Free ice cream - good for kids. A real international feel... lots of different nationalities.
Entertainment was excellent! Staff very professional and take special note of the children. Mini disco starts at 8.45pm. Then the main entertainment at 10pm. Portinatx quite a way from the other resorts in Ibiza, so would recommend getting the bus to Ibiza Town at least once in the holiday, although taxi's are quite cheap the roads are VERY windy as the resort is over some hills so beware for hilarious driving!
DO visit the caves in Puerto San Miguel, and take a walk to the far end of Portinatx toward the lighthouse. Beach was perfect for young children as the sea goes out for ages just gently shelving and there are three or so to choose from.
If you fancy eating/drinking/chilling out the ONLY cool place to go is ZULU LOUNGE on the beach front of S'arenal Petit beach.

The hotel was spotlessly clean we the rooms where quite small byt we were never in it only to sleep the only thing missing was a fridge o and air conditioning would have been nice too.
The food was nice but got a bit repetative in the snack bar.
The staff were brilliant especially the amination team it is the longest game of bingo in the world tho with numbers called out in every language possible.
We had a fantastic week and wouldnt hesitate to go back again, but one word of warning be up early to get a sunbed round the pool.

| said: Hotel was beautifully kept and maintained. The gardens were lovely. The pictures in the brochure do not do this hotel justice! Beware tho, many steps to the beach!
Swimming pool area was small but clean and tidy, the pool was rather cold though.
Rooms were basic but very clean and the ceiling fan came in very handy.
Lots of activities during the day and evening if you wish to join in. Entertainment staff were fantastic.
We would go back again.

| said: This was a very good holiday. The entertainment was brill, the staff at the bar were lovely, the cleaners where a bit rude, the food was ok. I wouldn't rave about it.
The location was a bit out of the way, but all in all it was a nice break, if all you want is a nice quiet week with sun sea and sand then this is it!
