| said: Apartments Duquesa are situated about a 3 minute amble from the beach, within a very quiet and pine-scented residential area.
The whole complex was super clean, with maid service every other day. We found our apartment (309) to be spotless and well appointed, with bedroom, living room/kitchen, bathroom and balcony. The absence of a lift may be a problem for some...
Pool area was very pleasant, with sun loungers around a small but clean pool. While there were no other facilities in the block, we were welcome to use all those of the sister hotel, the Villa Concha, which was on the next street - larger pool, entertainment, bar, etc - and all were of a great standard.
I miss sitting on the balcony of a late evening, glass in hand, listening to the sound of the cicadas chirping...

| said: The Apartments Duquesa are at the beach end of Puerto Pollensa about ten/fifteen minutes walk from Pine Walk with all the restaurants and bars etc; It's a nice residential type quiet area and only a five minute walk down to the lovely sandy beach.
We were lucky enough to have apartment 104 with the patio doors literally opening out onto the pool area, so we could have a dip in the pool (rather cold) and go straight back into our apartment to dry off, go to the loo, have a cuppa or glass of wine etc. It was very quiet when we went from Sept 3rd to 17th and at times we had the pool to ourselves, it was lovely.
The only downside was the humming from the electrical cupboard which was directly onto our bedroom, but we used ear plugs while we were there and didn't have a problem, we are both sensitive to noise though so this might not bother most people.
We booked independently with Winter Sunshine Holidays and Summer too, they are very good and reasonably priced.
There was no entertainment in the apartments or reception but you could use the facilities of the Villa Concha which was just around the corner.
