| said: If you think along the lines 'You get what you pay for' then Teix is good value.
On the positive side -
Location is excellent, 5 mins to the beach and 5 mins to the strip.
The pool is quite nice and pool bar very cheap (1.50e a pint!).
Rooms are 'reasonably' clean with comfortable beds.
Always plenty of hot water and a decent shower.
Downside -
Our bathroom (rm 315) had an overwhelmingly strong smell of blocked drains most of the time.
On arrival the 'rotten' balcony door wouldn't shut, they did a 'bodge up' fix the same day - not pretty but functional!
Many young groups and 18-30s in hotel. Not a problem for us but if you're not out partying too expect door banging, shouting, etc till about 6am most nights.
I'd stay again but i only needed a comfortable bed and a shower, if you expect anything more you'll be disappointed.

The Hotel is right in the thick of things and it is great You don't go to Magaluf for a rest if you want that go to Scarborough!!!!
The Prince William Pub is fantastic with Roger the resident DJ p-taker and the fantastic staff of Calee and Sarah during the day and the crazy gang at night Stags and hens go there in total confidence

| said: Never again, road works outside most of the day. The water was brown out of the taps. The bed was comfortable. But what do you what for £15 a night, an upturned boat on the beach! Water would have been clearer.

| said: Me and My friend were quite worried as we had heard a few things about the Hotel Teix, but we found it to be very friendly and clean.
The beds were comfortable and the pillows were soft.
We didn't spend a great deal of time in our hotel it was just a place to sleep and get changed. I would definitely go back again to Magaluf and would stay at this hotel it may be basic but thats all we needed. Next time I go I will be booking the room and flights separately and staying at the hotel Teix it's cheap and must of all the holiday will be cheerful.

| said: We booked our holiday as a last minute deal though Ministry of SOund and actually stayed in 2001. On arrival and seeing the hotel we initially thought it was a bombsite - it looked tired and had towels and all manner of stuff hanging off the balconies.
Our room was actullay quite large with a double room and two singles in main area. The decor was pretty tired and the furniture had been graffitied by previous guests. However, the linen was clean and the beds were comfy. In the morning we went downstairs for breakfast - the food was actually quitr nice and the staff didn't seem to mind if we piled our plates high with bacon and sausage.
The hotel is located right between the two main beaches and is perfect for young holiday makers having the Prince William pub right beneath it.
The staff were all really helpful and if you were looking for a place to stay as a group of singles or young people looking for a good time then this is the place!
