| said: on arrival we were checked in quickly and made our way to our room, we had paid extra for a sea view which was stunning , but there was a big problem we didn't forsee which was the constant noise from the stage below us which didn't stop until 11.30pm then there was the noise from the plastic furnature being scraped across the tiles until midnight, not ideal if you have small children to get to sleep ,so we moved to a room at the rear of the hotel where it was so quiet it was bliss. The rooms are very small ,basic but cleaned daily, and you will have to pay extra for fridges, safes etc.All the areas of the hotel seemed clean, and the food was excellent although mealtimes where a bit hectic.it would have been nice if some of the guests had bothered to dress up a bit instead of coming to eat in their football strips The pool area wasn't crowded when we were there (late sept ) but there were a few unruly teenagers who spoilt it ,(parents didn't seem to care ) my main gripe with this holiday was the constant hassle and noise from the reps trying to get people to do activities when all you want to do is chill by the pool and the awful blaring chav music coming from the speakers. There was no escape, evening at night if you walked over to the other side of the bay you could still hear it ! it was a bit like butlins in the sun (except it rained for most of the week !! )We like entertainment , music as much as the next person but it was too much .The hotel staff were excellent from the housekeeping to the management, but in all i was really dissapointed with this holiday ,mainly due to the constant badgering from the reps and a small minority of guests who felt that their offsring could do exactly as they wanted without any thought for others, not somewhere i would want to go again or recommend to others

The food looked great but im a fussy eater so found it hard to find something I liked other than chips. My partner & children found it was ok bit dissapointed that we didnt get drinks with our dinner we had to pay for them which I thought was bad, drinks n snacks in the hotel were very expensive people were going to the local shops and buying them as they were cheaper.
The entertainment during the day was the same stuff day in day out but the entertainment staff did put their heart & soul into there jobs, so thanks to Fairy (Claire), Johnny and Jade.
My son wasnt really interested into kids club so cant really comment but when he did go I had to que up to put his name down for the next day which I thought was a bit stupis but then I suppose it gives eveyone a chance so ok if kids are into going to kids club.

| said: Just came back yesterday from the Presidente. Staff in the hotel are very friendly and I must say a special thank you to the restaurant staff who organised a birthday cake and special table for my son's birthday.
The hotel itself is kept very clean, rooms as previously stated are clean but basic. A note on the chiller/fridge, if you are going as a group only hire one key for the fridge, they are all the same! The pool area was very crowded and I thought too small for the size of the hotel but it was very clean and well maintained but it was peak holiday time. Food we found good, better on some days than others. Also I thought it was strange not have water jugs on the tables for dinner, but I suppose this would detract people from purchasing drinks from the waiters.
The hotel is on a hill but it is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. If you go down the hill from the hotel and bear to your left, there is a smaller beach which with young children we thought was much better as you can go out quite a way before it starts to get deeper, also the pedalos are half the price of the one's on the main beach in front of the El Greco Hotel. There are 3 bars on this side, which we found much better value for drinks than the hotel, Gin & Tonic in the hotel 5.20 Euro's, bars down the road, 3.50 Euro's. Again, when we spent evenings in the hotel, we took our own. Some people where just brining carrier bags direct from the Spar! Another point of info, the shop below the hotel is cheapest for sun lotions & inflatables compared to those on the beaches.
Entertainment, I found okay, some days there was something going on all day and the next day nothing, just kids club. I do think more children & adult entertainment is needed during the day. Reps did try hard but have had better entertainment on previous holidays.
The water park opposite the El Greco is adequate for a day's vist which we thoroughly enjoyed. It cost €12 per adult and €6 for childeren, during the morning we got free drinks and icecreams but when it got busy in the afternoon this was stopped. A word of warning on the Aguamar waterpark in Playa En Bossa, there are height restrictions on the rides, so if you child is under 1.4m they will not be able to go on most of the rides - reps did not tell me this, I had to ask, but the reception staff were excellent in obtaining a tape measure for me to measure the height of my son.
The resort itself is quiet but very relaxed, which is exactly what we wanted. I would definately go back to Portinax and would have no problem staying at the Presidente again.

| said: We visited Ibiza fro the first time. We had expected a great location and great hotel. we were very disappointed. The food was very bland and the resturant although bright and very cool was full of flies. Drinks very expensive and most people purchased drinks elsewhere rather than at the hotel. Rooms are very basic and it seems that you have to pay for any extras. Air conditioning only lasts two hours which means you have to keep switching back on.
you need to be up by 6.45am to get a sunbed if not you will not have one all day.
The football guys were fantastic and kept my son busy all week if not i dont know what he would have done.
There were several incidents were guests became violent and the hotel staff just did not want to get invloved. it did mean that we felt very unsafe. The reps also did not want to intervene when some guests just kept getting more and more drunk.
Not a place I would ever visit again or recommend

| said: The hotel rooms, although relatively basic, are clean. The maids are in every day and are very friendly and helpful. The main areas of the hotel are also kept clean. The bedrooms have an air con button which gives you 2 hours at a time.
The restaurant is air conditioned, however, the food is not as we had expected and it is nowhere near the best food we have ever experienced abroad. To be blunt, it's like a school canteen with some very rude people and children who are unsupervised. The food was bland and often luke warm. There is always fresh salad, which to be fair was lovely, but there is only so much salad you can eat. The "potato's" were always in a gravy and the meat choices were nothing exciting. There was always a fish option, however, in the first week it was hake 6 nights, in the second week, it was hake 6 nights ...
If you want to go abroad and eat English food, then you might enjoy it more than we did.
We were so fed up of the food we ate out most of the last week, and by all accounts, missed out on nothing.
If like us you were hoping for a proper little spanish Taverna/Tapas bar nearby ... there isn't one! There are only a few bars and restaurants nearby and little choice as the menus are all fairly similar.
The drink prices in the hotel are very expensive. 3.80 Euro's for a large beer which is not the best beer and served in a plastic glass!! If you go down the hill to S'Arenal you can have a frozen glass with very cold beer in it for 3.50, but you can get a pint for 3.00 Euros if you look around. A lot of people brought their own drinks in Boozy Buys and drank that instead of paying the hotel prices.
The entertainment team Fairy, Johnny and Jade all worked very hard and did a great job, some of the acts afterwards were ok, others a bit dodgy, but overall pretty good.
The only rep there who seemed to actually be happy or give the impression she knew what she was talking about was Charlie ... I'm sure if the others actually cracked their faces and smiled it would have struck them with lightening they were that mardy.
The kidzone reps were good fun and Kelly and Ben inparticular seemed to make much more of an effort than the rest of them.
The Razzamatazz girls were fantastic, our daughter went and loved it, it's amazing what the children learnt in just 6 hours. The first show was HSM, the second Mama Mia and the third we saw was Oliver. Well worth the 29 Euros for the 3 days.
If you want to get a sunbed by the pool, set your alarm early because by about 8am the second week, there were just the odd few beds free and it was getting earlier ... I'm glad we prefer the beach.
If you see the masseuse on stage, give him a try, he's great and not overly expensive.
There is a playground for the children off to the side of the area the evening entertainment is held, but a word of caution, there is very limited lighting of an evening which means it is pretty dark up there. Next to the hotel is another complex, but between the two there is a kind of open "building" site (although nothing is being built) and easy access can be gained between the two through a little gate in the fence. This was found open one night and reported to the reps and eventually 24 hours later and having spoke to another 3 reps and finally suggesting to them that they at least cable tie it to secure it until it could be properly fixed, they did.
All in all it was a nice holiday, we had a nice time and met some really lovely people, but we will not be returning and wouldn't recommend it.

| said: Returned from two weeks stay at the presidente last weekend and had a fantastic time. the only things I can pull it down on are the location, its gorgeous but very small, just the square with a few shops and bars but was exactly what we were looking for.
Food was fantastic, on the second week I expected a re-run of the week before but it was different each night, couldnt fault it, alway veg dishes, fish, checken, red meat, salad loads of desserts and fruit, fantastic.
hotel itself is lovely, rooms are basic but nice, great view from the pool area but the drinks are expensive. We bought from the spar near Del Boys and paid 4 euros for 6 beers and it was 3 euros for 1 in the bar! its also good for fruit shoots for the kids.
Kids entertainment was fantastic, they loved it, particularly fairy who they adored, adults entertainment we found a bit hit and miss, some fantastic some poor!
All in all I would recommend it but with caution on how small the place is, but if, like us, this what you are looking for its ideal

| said: Just got back from 2 weeks at the Presidente and much like the other reviews about the hotel there's far more good than bad.
Starting off with the good.......
The hotel is very clean and nothing appears to be too much trouble for the excellent staff. On arrival we discovered that the patio door did not lock and it was seen to immediately. The air conditioning unit didn't operate (has a timer switch for 2 hours), we advised the hotel staff of this and it was attended to. One 'tip' on the air conditioning, if you want to have the aircon on permanently, the breaker and timer are positioned just under the unit, behind the curtain. If you set the timer to maximum, it will run without switching off. You will have to switch the aircon off using the breaker but this is easy to do and saves you getting frostbite during the night.
The rooms are cleaned every day, the cleaners do tend to want to get access to your room fairly early so a lie in after 9am is often interrupted by a knock at the door, to be fair if you tell them to come back later they will.
The pool area is large enough but can get busy. We ddn't have a problem getting beds and you can't reserve sunbeds until after 8.30am. In the height of the season in July and August I can see it getting a little cramped but it shouldn't spoil what is a nice pool area. There is a park for the kids as well as a baby pool for the toddlers and babies.
The restaurant is spotless and offers great food, and plenty of it. The breakfast is excellent, offering a full english to lighter snacks and the evening meal offers a good choice of food. The food is probably some of the best I have eaten in a hotel restaurant of this type and you will not be disappointed.
The entertainment for the kids is great, kids disco every night at 8.30pm, followed by the main entertainment starting at 10pm-ish.The main entertainment comprises a mix of Thomson 'home-brew', local and UK acts. The efforts made by the reps and entertainment staff are top drawer but one or two of the outside acts don't work for the mixed adult/child audience. One or two of the comedians struggle as they clearly tone down their act, the traditional Spanish night is old hat and the Miss Carly act is clearly suited for an adult audience. The best nights are usually the 'home-brew' nights and there is a game show night every two weeks which is just brilliant.
Take advantage of the towel service, 10 euros deposit per towel, change them as often as you like and get your money back when you leave. A great service even if it does give you a carbon footprint the size of Botswana.
The views from the hotel are stunning as you overlook the bay.
Now the bad...........
The bar prices are ridiculous. They are charging 3.80 euros for a pint of lager (£3.15 appx) and 2.80 euros for a soft drink. My tip is to take a cool bag from home. Walk down the hill to the Spar or into the small town to Boozy Buys and buy your drink there. Buy a bag of ice daily to keep it cool (in your cool bag) and save yourself a lot of money. The same applies for the nippers drinks, much cheaper from the shops. The bar staff at the hotel give a wry smile as you pour out your drinks but they know it goes on and a large proportion of people were bringing in their own.
The gym is poor for those wishing to exercise whilst on holiday. The equipment is looking old, although they do have a good selection of free weights.
Pool table costs 2 euros per game (£1.60)!!!
The security of the room is not great. The patio doors can be easily opened from the outside so ensure you don't leave any valuables in the room. There is a safe in your room and it costs appx 4 euros per day, which I think is expensive. Having said that I didn't hear of any incidents of theft and the area is not known for having a problem of this nature.
The coolers in the room are available for 4 euros per day but note that in some rooms they are smaller and only act as a cooler, they are not fridges. We didn't hire one but one or two said they were useless and weren't worth the money.
The hotel next door has a water park. It's not the worlds best (the park at Playa D'En Bossa isn't either). You can pay to use the water park next door at a cost of 6 euros per person. It's got 4 slides and we did find out that occasionally not all of them are working. The Thomson reps at the Presidente, when asked, told us that you couldn't pay to use the water park next door as it was for the use of the hotel guests as it is an all-inclusive hotel. This is not the case, you can pay to use the water park, it is suggested that as Thomson want you to pay for the water park trip to Playa D'En Bossa they don't want you paying for next door which is literally a 5 minute walk!!!

| said: Great family holiday mainly due to Kidszone (kidsclub) that has a Creche right up to 12 year old group activities.
Adult and kid joint activities on most of the day that are good fun too. Our 4 year old was in "Tots" for 3-5 year olds and staff were superb with session 11am to 1pm each day, then an option of 'drop in den' for 2 hours at 4,30pm also.
Entertainemnt in evening was a hit-and-miss for us, but we were in minority as most lapped it up. Kicked off on an outside stage at 8.30pm (bit late for the 50 or so pre-school age kids there in June08) with Mini Disco and game. 2nd show for grown ups (and all the family really) was 9.45 - 10.45, with hotel club anthem at end of night (Big Fish Little Fish!).
Music outside went off at 11,30pm. 3 main entertainment team worked really hard all day and night (Clairy-Fairy, Jade and Johnny), with professional acts brought in for about half the evenings, and Reps doing the other nights.
Hotel staff? All pleasant and Emma at reception was English so easy to communicate. Table service for outdoor evening entertainment so you never even had to leave your table for drinks.
Hotel location? OK its on a wee hill, but there are a few less steep options up new stairs either side of El Greco hotel that sits in front of Presidente hotel. Resort is quiet - that is well known - a handful of bars over other side of beach, but if you walk in opposite direction of 'main square' you find a 2nd smaller beach with another few shops and bars/restaurants, so there are options if you explore a bit.
Hotel food was very good. Not a huge choice, but plenty of it. Veggie section, plus a fish dish, 2 meat dishes and pasta most nights. More than a handful of dessert options plus ice cream too. Separate kiddies food buffet also, and microwave available 24 hours for baby jars or baby milk.
Hotel cleanliness was fine in main areas. Given hotel rooms were small I'd have expected a bit more dusting to have happened, but cleaners in rooms tidying every day. There is also washing machines on 2nd floor opposite lift -So if you are going for 2 weeks you need only pack for a week!
Overall, I'd give 4 out of 5 as another swimming pool is needed as its a bit cramped getting a sunbed, plus the hotel rooms are small and not originally built for families to stay in. Kids reps made the holiday, and as I said Entertainers worked really hard to please.

The Hotel Staff were most helpful at all times. A very well run hotel. Entertainment we felt was pretty good considering we went right at the end of the season, there was plenty to do.
The reps really look after you. We would most certainly go back again. If you have booked this holiday, you will not be disappointed. The hotel has a great gym, where you can work out every day if you want, and a jacuzzi just outside.

| said: I stayed at the Presidente Hotel Portinaxt on a singles holiday for 7 days.
The hotel is very clean, towels changed daily, bed linen changed as well. The rooms are not very big and I should imagine a large person could struggle to get into the room as there is not a lot of space between the fridge and the bathroom wall. The fridge and the safe require a refundable 10 euro deposit. The air conditioning was noisey. Once switched on it was on for two hours and would switch off automatically. You could not switch it off! It sounded like a world war two bomber droning away in the corner of the room. I should imagine a light sleeper may be kept awake at night with its noise. You had to have it on or it became vey hot in the room.
The food was very good with plenty of choice, vegitarians catered for. Never used the swimming pool though it looked clean you could see the staff cleaning it every morning, I preferred to swim in the very clear sea and relax on the two very nice beaches, though I did get stung by a jellyfish. All the hotel staff I came into contact with were very friendly and spoke good English. The Kids' entertainment team were first class-very hard working.
The hotel's location is at the top of a steep hill and once you had got down to the beach if you wanted to go over to the main square you had to go across the beach and up another steep hill. The buses arrive and depart from the square. Portinaxt is not a night club sort of resort it is more for families and people who want to unwind and relax during their holiday. I thouroughly enjoyed the week I spent at the Presidente Hotel though I did not like the two steep hills and any one with mobility problems is likely to struggle with them.

There is only one pool (despite the brochure saying 'several pools') and it is very busy, requiring you to 'reserve' your sun beds in the morning. However, the hotel food is excellent! The hotel is very clean. The rooms are not great, and if you want a view, certainly worth paying/requesting a view (we had a mud pile and then moved to a view of garden). The entertainment is basic, and mainly for kids. I would NOT recommend this hotel if you are a couple and want a quiet holiday. But great for large families.

| said: we really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It was very busy when we went as it was the school holidays and the area round the pool was very cramped, but still managed to get a sunbed each day only going down about 8.00am.
The food was lovely wth lots of choice.
When you go to the beach you have to go down "cardiac hill"which is exactly as it says. Alright going down but coming up is a struggle!
The entertainment is good, the usual superfamily entertainment, but there were lots of singers and they get a bit repetative.
The water park attached to the hotel El Greco is ideal for families.Although it is free for the people at the hotel El Greco as they are all inclusive it is still worth a visit as we paid 6 euros per child and 12 euros per adult and if you just like a few water slides and dont bother about massive rides then this is for you. Also if some of your party do not want to go on the slides or swim then you do not have to pay for that person. You get a wrist band so the lifeguards can identify who should be in the water or not.
Beach was lovely with the clearest water we have ever seen. We even took bread down to feed the fish as they came right up to us, big and small, and took the bread out of our hands, the sea was warm to swim in too. We would definitely go again.

| said: The Presidente is immaculate, so many staff on hand cleaning etc. Emma who is on reception is english and fluent spanish, so that really helps. our towels where changed daily and the room cleaned daily too, which was great. The fridge is in the room and has a lock on it, at the top of the fridge is a large space to put valubles in, we used that, however there is a safe too...of course deposits are required.
The restaurant is lovely, very spacious and clean, lovely setting and the food is out of this world, if there is no food you like i would be very surprised, they will accomodate you regardless....kids food is great, real sausage and burgers, fish fingers...kids can eat from adult buffet too and vice versa. Baby food is available, as are bibs and high chairs, microwave for bottles etc....this is available 24/7.
The staff are soooo helpfull, rep's on thomson desk arranged for us a special treat for our wedding anniversary, flowers, champagne and a cake....all free. We used the kids club and creche and all the staff put their heart and soul into giving all the kids a great time....all the paintings, colouring that our baby did was put into a lovely folder for us to take home at the end of the holiday...well worth the kids going to these clubs as it gives them a break from the sun and all kids areas are air conditioned.
As for the entertainment staff......i cannot put into words how hard these guys work, monkey boy adam, tweety and ducky are the heart of this hotel and certainly made our stay extra special....listen out for big fish....great.
There is a shop below the hotel which sells everything, nappies, wipes cosmetics etc, also a doctor is on hand.
We went on a trip called family premier sailing, this was well worth the money, lovely beaches and a bar b q....we took both our girls age 8 and 2 and they loved it and ate well....drinks are on tap too....quality drinks too not cheap stuff.
this was our second visit and we have already booked for 2008. that to me, says it all.

The food was excellent and the restaurant staff were very polite and helpful.
Our 2 children spent many ours at both the kids clubs and drop in and enjoyed every minute all the children reps do a fantastic job.
But I must say the 2 people that really make things special at this hotel are the fantastic 'Monkey boy and Tweety'we have been on several super family hoildays and I can honestly say theses two are exceptional at what they do.
The hotel is situated in a quite part of th island as are all super family hotels with the idea being that you stay on iste.
the drinks are quite expnsive as there is no competion and you have to pay the asking price.
But dont be put off by this I think this is the best super family holiday we have had.

All of the holiday reps were brilliant, they work so hard to make sure all the guests have a great time, they are all very talented and did some fantastic rep shows. the reps on the desk and who did our elcome meetings went out of their way to make our holiday special.
the resort its self was breath taking we had an amazing chilled out holiday. The only bad thing was coming home and back to the grindstone!! just which I was still there.

| said: Stayed at Presidente May'08 for a Thomson Super Family holiday with partner and son aged 3.
First thing to say is that I have never been anywhere where so many people have returned - loads of people had been there at least once before - so a good start.
The hotel cleanliness is faultless from the room cleaning, the public areas and also the outside pool and play areas.
Food is very good and always with such a large selection that we always found something to our taste. The restaurant staff are efficient and very friendly.
The location was OK - its only a small resort so everything is within a max 15 minute walk - the main square with bars and restaurants was down the hill, across the beach and up another hill (5mins) or alternatively you can walk to the right from the hotel entrance and take a longer (15min) walk which is much less hilly. For me the location was OK, two beaches within 5 mins.
The hotel staff were always helpul and friendly with British Emma on reception always excellent.
The Thomson staff also very good and enthusiastic, the entertainment was I would say average for a super family holiday ( I have now been on 6 of them) - Adam (Monkey Boy) is fantastic - the rest of them as I say I would describe as avarage.
Our room was 116 which overlooked the park and was close to the evening outisde entertainment on the first floor so into late evenong there was kids from about 3 to teenage age who could be heard from the park and of course the entertainment was loud when our toddler was going to bed at about 9pm - however I did not have an issue with that.
The problem we did have was that for the first few nights the big plastic little tyke toys (eg plastic ride on cars, motorbikes and peddle cart) were out and the kids enjoyed riding them down the slope from the park and then spinning them right below our balcony and this scared our little one. To be fair this was mentioned to the hotel staff and thomson reps and after the second night of reminding them and requesting the toys are locked up that is what they did and the issue disappeared.
Overall this was a great holiday and I would recommend the Presidente to anyone looking for a good family hotel and who dont mind a walk back from the beach up a short but a severe hill.

The food couldn't fault it always a good variety, cold sometimes could have done with being abit warmer though.
The location was not very good not much to do at all but its ok for a quiet time with young children not recommended for the 11 to 16s very boring for them.
The entertainment on site was ok but seen better not very entertaining at all for older children didnt seem to involve them in much more for the younger ones 3 to 9.
If I visited the hotel again it would have to be just as a couple so we could hire a car to get around, you do need a car or its very hard for getting around bit boring really.
But couldn't fault the hotel only very steep for prams and elderly.

The hotel was absolutely spotless; the maids did a fantastic job, we had clean towels every day and they were very friendly.
The food was brilliant; there was so much to choose from and every night it was cooked to perfection. We were lucky enough to be there on Tourist Day and there was Tapas in reception, there was a beautiful display of food - we made sure we got lots of photos!
I really cannot fault the staff - they were amazing! The reception staff were so helpful (good luck to Erika with her baby!). The bar staff were so friendly, especially Cristian who never walked past without saying hello! Juan does the funniest version of King Karaktakus!! The reps were so full of energy and never stopped, keeping the kids and adults entertained throughout the day and night with the games and minidiscos! I'm quite glad I didn't win a superfamily t-shirt because Alex would have made me hail it! (you have to have been there!!) Alex, Lara and Sarah - you guys rock!
The entertainment was great as well, with everything from parrot shows to Supremes tribute acts to comedians (Frankie Reilly!!) and of course the fabulous rep shows!!
I'm going back to the Presidente again next year with my friend as I think it would be perfect for a first holiday!!

| said: I returned from the Hotel Presidente in Ibiza just this morning.... and oh how nice it was to jump into my own bed!! No more having to turn the air conditioning switch on every hour, no more listening to the annoying whirr of the air conditioning - I actually had some sleep!!!!
But apart from that....
To be fair the hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms were very basic. Our room didnt have a particularly pleasant view but that didnt matter too much as we were out a lot. The cleaners changed the beds and provided clean towels everyday - they were very friendly too. As I said above the downside to the room was the airconditioning. I have never been to a hotel before where the airconditioning automatically goes off every hour. It was supposed to turn off after 2 hours, but hours turned off after about 1 hour - very annoying especially during the night. It was also very noisy. Needless to say i didnt sleep very well throughout the entire holiday.
I was most impressed with the food during the first week of the holiday - real suasages for breakfast!! But by the time the second week of the holiday had arrived I had had enough of cooked breakfasts and longed for a bowl of Special K! the evening meals were quite varied. Plenty of variety in the salad section - however I wouldnt call it healthy as it was dripping in mayonnaise and other dressings. We had some nice fish dishes during the fortnight too - salmon, mackerel, dressed mussels etc. I loved the spagetti carbonara that we had a couple of times too!
My only complaint about dining in the hotel was the extortionate prices that we had to pay for a drink to go with our meals - 2,20 euros for a bottle of water - thats over £1.50! absolutely crazy... :(
The location of the hotel has to be its major downfall - great if you are fighting fit, not so good if you are not! unfortuantely the hotel is situated at the top of a very steep hill. Unluckily for me, I damaged my knee about a fortnight before the holiday and I found it a trmendous strain walking up aswell as down the hill (it hurt like hell!). Not only that, but if you wanted to go to the shopping square in Portinatx, firstly you had to walk down the very steep hill towards the beach, then you had to walk up another steep hill to the center - very draining during hot weather.
The Thompsons reps at the hotel were all fab with the kids - especially Monkeyboy Adam. Unfortunately he left 2 days before us to go to another hotel in majorca - hence the entertainment wasn't as good on the last 2 days of the holiday without him. I've never seen such a lively person, it was exhausting just watching him - what a star! And as for Big Fish........ well you'd have to go there to learn more about that!
The hotel staff were mostly quite friendly, there was just the odd one or 2 that I wasn't very keen on. The person who greeted us into the restaurant was wonderful - he even greeted our group in Welsh!! He was a lovely guy. The waiters brought watermelon around to people who were around the pool every few days, that was nice. We were also given free glasses of sherry, kiddies cocktails, wine or champagne (small ones I'll hasten to add) as we entered the dining room on a couple of occasions. The gesture was very nice. The ladies were even give a carnation on one night - how sweet!
The hotel itself as I said before was very clean, however I was disappointed with the lack of air-conditioning in the hotel foyer and seating area inside. They had some fans on there but the heat was stifling.
The poor area was very cramped - not much room to walk between sunbeds. We could have done with a bigger pool - it was really overcrowded. Thomsons reps teach kids to swim (at a cost), which I think is a great idea, but unfortunately I wasnt impressed with the fact that they had to shut off part of the pool to do that...... the pool wasnt big enough in the first instance. The other downside regarding the pool was the fact that on some days, the activities the reps had planned included the non-use of the pool - which I didnt think was fair because not everybody wants to get involved in the reps activities. One little boy was reprimanded by one of the reps on my last day there because he was swimming in the middle of the pool (in the shallow end I might add)whilst he should have been sitting on the side of the pool! How ridiculous is that? His parents paid for that holiday and they should have been allowed to use the hotels facilities as they liked. the kid was given a good telling off by one rep in particular who I wont mention- the poor kid must have thought he was in school not on holidays!
The entertainment at the hotel was quite good on some occasions but a lot of the time it was quite amateur. The last night of our holiday, the entertainment was absolutely rubbish! Loads of people actually got up and left. I think the hotel will miss Monkeyboy adam - he could have run the entertainment all by himself!
The poolside bar was quite reasonable for food during the daytime - the snacks were quite delicious. But the prices of the drink was really extortionate. The spirit measures were no bigger than a single size back home and they cost about 6 euros or more. A jug of sangria cost nearly 13 euros - and it was very weak.

| said: Our holiday at the Hotel Presidente was very pleasant. Overall we found it the best hotel we had ever stayed in.
The reception staff were always most helpful. Pilar the Reception Manager has been there for 33 years so she told us. Emma one of the receptionists is a Newcastle lass married to a Spaniard, always helpful and no problems with the language. The other receptionists Erica, Alex, and Ivan also very helpful.
We had requested a room on high floor prior to arrival, but when we arrived we were on second floor, nice room with sea view, though a bit close to extractor system on roof of restaurant below. However 2 days later we were offered a room on top floor (4th) which was better for us with a beautiful sea view which was extra, but worth it.
The air conditioning which was in the price was very efficient. The maid service was first class, the best we have come across.
The restaurant was very pleasantly air conditioned, with more than ample choices of very good food, both at breakfast and at dinner. The buffet service gave us the opportunity to have a taste of dishes that we hadn’t experienced before, without being committed to making it the meal.
In the bar Zara served us efficiently with coffees and drinks and although we have read of some guests stating the prices were high, we found them to be no higher than most hotel bar prices. The measures of spirits are very large and probably triple of those in the UK.
We didn’t have a lot to do with the entertainment, what we saw was adequate and the Thomson reps work very hard to keep as many people happy as possible. We hired a car through Ian, one of the reps, who did his best to get us a good deal.
The leisure facilities in the hotel were of good quality and should be sufficient for most guests, the pool was kept very clean.
Getting to the beach from the hotel was really hard going, it being very steep, either by steps or road. At one section directly outside the hotel the incline must be about 1 in 4 for at least 40 metres, then a slightly less steep walk of about a further 100 metres to the beach. This is alright for the reasonably fit, but not so good for parents with buggies or elderly persons, or those with walking difficulties.
As Pilar remarked, “By being up the hill you get better views and cleaner air” – which was true!

| said: We really enjoyed our stay at The Presidente. The staff and entertainment team in this hotel are excellant and although the actvities are mainly aimed at younger children our teenage son had a good time.
I am a Catering Manager by profession and i rated the food in this hotel as excellant. There was always plenty of choice and the restaurant servery areas were always clean and tidy.During our stay Ibiza celebrated National Tourism Day. The hotel laid on a lovely selection of Tapas which i thought was a nice touch.
Well done Crazy Kate and Super Suzy for keeping us smiling every day. The Thomson team work hard trying to keep everybody entertained although sometimes it does go a bit over the top. Supersplash every day at 11.00am is followed by the whirlpool i was happy just to lay on my sun bed and watch!!!!
"Cardiac Hill" yes it is a steep climb back to the hotel after visits to the beach and town but it only takes about 10 mins and is surely compensated by the stunning location of the hotel with its beautiful views of the bay.
Drinks in the hotel are a little on the pricey side and i thought the hire of the fridge in the room was a bit expensive.
Excursions are expensive and there is a touch of the hard sell at The Welcome Party. We decided to do "Slide and Seek" a visit to The Hippy Market at Es Cana followed by a trip to Aquamar Water Park. This cost 90 Euros!!!! and was the cheapest excursion. We could have hired a car for the day and visited both these attractions for just over half the cost!!!
Our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the pistol shooting and killer darts area. We found the room very clean and adequately sized for the three of us. Maid service was excellant we had clean towels everyday and the beds were changed at least twice during our 11 night stay.
The family cabarets were hit and miss, The Happy Hippy Show was our favourite and The Parrot Show was entertaining but beware when this one is finished because suddenly you find a parrot on your head and a camera in your face!!!! Result 3 photos and a bill for 30 Euros.
Tuesday nights is The Rep Show well done to Krazy Kate and co for an excellant evenigs entertainment.

| said: This hotel is in a lovely location. Forget about the comments about the 'hill' - there is a hill but it's no problem if you're even just reasonably fit. It also gives a beautiful outlook from the hotel over the sea.
We were half board and the food was great. A separate buffet for the kids as well. I'm veggie so found the choice a bit limited but apart from that the quality was fantastic.
Staff were very helpful, housekeeping all day every day so the place was spotless.
I'm not a great fan of hotel 'entertainment' - Robbie Williams tribute singers etc. Every evening there was this kind of act on!
I'm also not at all keen on overbearing reps telling me that I'm spoiling everyones holiday by not getting in the pool for Supersplash. What a cheek - here I was thinking I could do whatever I wanted on MY holiday! The kids reps seemed great (our little one was too little for the kids club - there was a creche but we didn't use it). However, I hate having my days regimented - 11:30 Supersplash, 12:30 quiz, 1:30 water polo etc etc etc. The reps (one in particular) were way too loud and bossy and she seemed to think she ruled the roost. I would be quietly reading my book by the pool only to be assaulted by booming music and shouting for the start of the days 'activities'. Other than that, this is a great hotel if you 1) have kids 2) like your every waking moment to be looked after by a Thompson rep.
I would go there again, but only for my daughter.

Maids worked really hard and any requests were met without any fuss. Rest of the staff very friendly and helpful not to mention handsome! Food was worthy of its 4* rating particularly the puddings, we always ate to excess. Didn't bother too much with the snacks as we ate so much two meals a day was plenty.
There was a downside as a couple of power cuts during our week at breakfast time was a nuisance but they were quickly resolved. In our room air con didn't last for 2 hours it was twice that.
Entertainment, who was the most competitive the kids or the adults? in our case the adults. Everyone tried their very hardest to win a t shirt some resorting to bribery. Didn't see too much of the night entertainment as we visited the irish bar on the other side of the beach. But what we did see was good (rep show) would I go again, yes.

| said: This hotel is really better suited to families with younger children although as other people have commented the steep hill that you have to climb up everytime you want to get out of the hotel is a pain after a while.
The hotel is really clean and the staff work hard and are very helpful if you have any queries and rooms were cleaned every day.
We had rooms at the front of the hotel and were woken up every morning at about 6am when the deliveries came, also there was a strong smell of drains.
There was nobody overseeing the pool area and at times large groups of teenagers got a bit rowdy. Loads of inflatables in the pool making it almost impossible to have a swim at times. Avoid the pool area after 11am unless you want to join in with supersplash and whirlpool.
Drinks very expensive. Entertainment ok bog standard hotel stuff, men dont sit at the front during the drag show unless you want to be dragged up on stage! Hated the food it was really bland, one night they served a chicken pie with no chicken at all in it.
Loads for younger kids to do. Excursions very expensive you can get to all places on the Island yourself for a fraction of the price by getting bus to Ibiza Town/Santa Eulalia and then either another bus or boat, buses are cheap and reliable.

The Hotel is very clean.
The food is lovely and there are fantastic views of the gorgeous bay below.
There is quite a steep hill leading to the beach but it is to be expected because the hotel is set high up so it offers lots of great views.
My daughter Gemma met loads of people her age and had a great time I hardy ever saw her she would just go off and do her own thing so this hotel is great for teenagers and also kids as there is a kids club.
The hotel staff well what can I say they were very helpful and would always greet you a warm hello and a smile they all speak well English and are great.
The reps were amazing and made our holiday great. They made sure everyone was happy and was always full of life. They work very hard through the day and night putting on some great activities and shows which you can win prizes. We won a tshirt which my daughter had to do the t shirt dance on stage with crazy Kate she loved every minute of it. we all learnt some fantastic dances including star trekking, the finger song and Rolf Harris song.

| said: We like to go somewhere different each year no matter how good a time we have had. We rated our holiday at the Victoria Playa, Menorca, last year as excellent so were keen to find another equally good venue this time around.
I have to say that the Presidente did not disappoint, it is situated in an attractive location overlooking the beautiful bay. As for the so called “cardiac hill” all I can say after experiencing it is “call that a hill?”, we met people from Lancashire and Yorkshire who also wondered what the fuss was about.
There was a bit of a scramble for the sunbeds in the morning and one really had to be down by 7.30ish to get some. The reps and the hotel ask guests not to reserve beds before 8.30 but the simple fact is if you obey the rules you don’t get one. The pool is a reasonable size but did get a bit busy when full of inflatables, there is also a jacuzzi which, according to the notice at the side, was not to be used by under 16s, however it was always full of kids.
The service in the restaurant was excellent and the food up to the high standard we experienced at the Victoria Playa. One night they offered a carvery and I had the best roast beef I have ever tasted.
The rooms were clean, reasonably spacious and contained a TV and hairdryer. The aircon was a bit hit and miss with each room having its own unit that when turned on produced an un-adjustable icy blast for two hours before the timer turned it off – it could be turned off manually as well though. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the pool and had a sea-view, as such it was away from the sun all day so we didn’t need the aircon much. I noticed however that some rooms just had a view of the roof of the restaurant while others overlooked the quiet road at the front.
The entertainment was generally good with a few professional acts. The outside bar where you purchase drinks by the pool during the day, and again for the evening entertainment, was a bit of a rip off. A “large” draught beer (San Miguel) was served in plastic glasses with a 33cl capacity. People were asking for a pint (50cl) but still got the same measure. For this the charge was 2.75 euros but you could buy a 33cl bottle of San Miguel for 2.20 euros from the same bar.
Our problem now is finding somewhere as good for next year, a nice family hotel, mainly (or all) British, somewhere our daughter can meet some friends, good food and entertainment, and near a sandy beach. The Presidente was a perfect choice for us, will we find anywhere else to match our criteria? – watch this space.

It is spotlessly clean and the staff work extremely hard to keep it that way.The location of the hotel provides stunning views, but being at the top of a steep hill does not make it suitable for the less mobile, we also winessed a young family with two young kids struggling to get back up the hill after a day on the beach, with all the stuff you have to carry with young kids.
Down side to the hotel is that the snacks at the pool bar and all drinks are VERY expensive and did not provide value for money. Entertainment is good but the downside of it is a rep called Kate who is a pain in the butt if you do not fancy joining in.
Overall a very good holiday, but for value for money not all that clever. It works out cheaper to go all inclusive in the long run. It's dearer as an initial outlay but with the cost of snacks and drinks for both us and the kids it certainly works out cheaper in the end.
We would come back, but would ensure we took more ready cash next time as we didn't expect to spend as much as we did.

We just didnt realise what super family accommodation was. EG 11:00 supersplash oh god get off your sunbeds you're not here to sunbathe and relax what do you think this is a holiday. 14:00 get out of the pool we want it so we can get everyone frustrated by playing some rubbish game of water polo or water basketball.
Crabby,no its crazy Kate is awful,if something doesnt go her way watch out because she gets one on her,she thinks she runs the entertainment section on her own forgeting all the other reps are there.
Prices at the hotel are a bit expensive but hire a fridge and take your own down at night or actually go out of the hotel and see beautiful portinatx the restaurante at the front at the bottom of the hill is a great place to sit and have a drink watching the sunset as is the Jardin del Mar across the other side of the beach.
The cheapest supermarket is roses the other side of delboys and boozy buys is good for alchohol and tobacco
hire a car and see the island its a great place to see go to Escana,Santa Eualalia and Ibiza town they are must see places to go.
I love Ibiza and Portinatx but wouldnt go to the Presidente again but if you like that sought of holiday (Butlins in Ibiza) then it may be for you.

The Hotel itself was very clean and the staff did what they could to help. You will find a few English/good english speaking staff and that helps.
The room was small but adequate, we were only in there to bed down so to speak so it is not an issue. Linen and cleaning every day except a Sunday for us.
The food was spot on, we only went for a week but a differnet menu every night. There were pleny of people taking out food for the day and I hate to say it, but we followed suit with cakes and fruit for our kids. It seemed to be the norm. Even down to filling up bottles for the kids with juice etc.
Good combination of kids meals and adult kept the variety up for our kids, they loved Brekafast/Tea time.
The pool is a little small and got little crowded but again our kids did not complain, they were in and out all day and loved it.
There is a playpark, soft play area and kids club. Check out the Lizzards at the sand pit/playpark. Our kids would sit for hours trying to catch them with little jam packs and they did with fishing nets from the swap box. By the kids club there is a swap box full of toys etc that people did not want to take home. Great Idea, others should follow.
The entertainment was decent enough and the first few hours are for the kids then from 10-12 it's adult orientated.
!!!! The bar is really expensive!!!!!
We were in Majorca in May and the prices here were nearly double!!! We go away every year and noticed that this little neck of the woods in Ibiza is pricey! Check out the handbag drink fillers....follow suit with a your Vodka's or cans of beer ;)
There is also an airpump for your inflatables by the baby pool. The other thing to note is the towel hire. 10 euros for a towel and you swap it as often as you like. We did this and never had to dirty wash any of our beach towels. 10 euro deposit per towel and you get it back when you hand them in!
The Hotel itself is a bit of pain due to the location. It only takes 2 mins to get to the Beach.......down a big slope!! It's quite hard going for kids and older people, really is steep! Once at the beach you then have to go uphill to get to the square, again v steep! Repeat in reverse to get back to the Hotel. Nothing by way of distance but it is the steepest slope we have encountered on any hols!!
For all you shppers forget it, this is not for you. 5-6 little shops for your nik naks and 2 English bars
! The supermarkets are hugely different in price with the cheapset being the one to your immediate left after you get up the hill from the beach. Cheapset tobacco shop was the one closest to Del Boys pub.
You may notice the water slides at the near by el Greco Hotel, our boys used this a couple of times with no probem at all.
The Beqch itself is spotelss and you can walk out 100 yds + before it gets to deep. Little fish swimming round you...take a little bread down!
All in all we loved the holiday as the kids played all day and we actually got some serious sun tan this time!!
We would go back but at a lter date as we like to try new places.
This is as honest as I can be, no real negatives at all other then the hilly bits. You would not be disspaointed by going to the Presidente!!
Sorry the review is all over the place, I'll keep to the day job and leave serious writing for the pro's!
The other reviews are genuinely harsh where not positive!
Well disgruntled at having to hire a fridge!!! Nice to have a cold beer on the balcony without the extra expense of fridge hire!!

| said: Visited the hotel last year and liked it so we came back again this year. Got on the coach from the airport and surprise surprise - there was no rep. Checked-in at the hotel and we got more or less the same room as last year (203, we got 205 last year. A nice view over the hotels gardens.
The pool is of a decent size but when theres lots of airbeds in, it does get very crowded. You need to be up early for sunbeds - We went down one morning at 8.15 and there were only 4 available beds around the whole pool.
The poolside entertainment was good, although I don't think some of the reps needed a mic(there mouths were big enough). The evening entertainment was average, not the worst ive seen but by no means the best and the Rep show is just dire. The best entertainment in the resort is at Vincents Bar (across the otherside of the beach).
Food is nice, although it does get a bit sameish and the drinks in the hotel are very very overpriced.
The reception area is comfortable and the staff are friendly - plenty of chairs and they have daily newspapers available (though i don't see why people want to see whats happening back at home while they are on holiday) It does get very warm though, especially when waiting to be picked up to go home, its much cooler to sit down the far end by the pool tables if you are going to be waiting for a long time.
Rooms aren't massive but are still comfortable, with air-con and TV, though its at the discretion of the receptionist what goes on Channel 3, it was normally Cartoon Network but we did have football and cricket on a few times.
Trips were very expensive.
The hotel was very good
Shame about Thomson, who to be honest couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery:
Coming home, we were told to be outside '20 minutes' before our scheduled pick-up time, so at 4 o clock everyone went outside with their cases - about 30 or 40 people altogether. At about 4.30 (10 minutes late) a bus arrived, we started getting on and loading luggage on, when the driver closed the luggage bay doors and got on and we thought he was driving off, leaving everyone behind. Another coach had turned up and both were on the small car park, so the driver of the other bus had to marshal us around the small car park while we did a 3-point turn. We nearly demolished the shop and then nearly reversed over a 10 foot drop. After this little adventure we continued loading and we were soon on our way(at about 4.45, 25 minutes late. There was no rep on the bus, so people coudve been split from the rest of their party, missed the bus, etc.
We arrived at the airport and a rep climbed on and started talking and recieved a large cheer from most of the coach.
This was very bad on Thomson's part, there was a risk of parties getting split up/children being seperated from parents

| said: This hotel is spotless! The cleaning staff work tirelessly to ensure absolute cleanliness. From the maids who tidy the rooms to the guy who cleans the pool....excellent.
The food was great too. As a big meat eater I was very impressed & absolutely satisfied. A wide variety of choice could be found to suit even the fussiest of diners. Our kids loved the childrens section of the buffet, helping themselves to their food made them feel very independent & grown up.
Although perched at the top of the so called 'Cardiac Hill' this hotel has wonderful views of the cove below & even my daughter who's nearly 3 managed the walk to & from the beach at least 8 times during our fortnight stay, it's good exercise anyway!
The staff are a fantastic, they all speak good English & are very helpful, they all enjoy a bit of fun too, especially the barmen & waiters who often find themselves 'on stage' joining in with the evening entertainment.
As for the entertainment. At 11am every day around the pool the fun commences with Supersplash. Water aerobics followed by the giant whirlpool where all the guests join hands in the pool & rotate clockwise creating a giant vortex in the middle before releasing hands and floating away at some pace around to the side of the pool. A great laugh & a real must.
The games continue until late afternoon with a variety of quizzes & pool based sports & games.
In the evening the fun starts around 8.15pm with dancing & games for the kids, our two girls loved this part & learned some new dance moves from Crazy Kate, Super Suzie, Cheeky Dee & 'Avin It Al just to name a few. These are the most energetic holiday reps I've ever seen, they were all brilliant.
Then later on the cabaret begins with some really talented acts, from singers to dancers, even an interactive TV game show & of course the reps show (very good entertainment.
A final mention must go to the kids club reps who kept our 2 girls entertained almost every morning for 2 weeks, especially Sue, Nat & Mel in the creche, our youngest loved her time with them so much.
We will definately return to this hotel.

| said: We have always gone to Superfamily Thomson's hotels.
This hotel was one of the best we have every been to.
The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble, from the bar staff, to the cleaning staff. The Thomson's reps worked very hard to keep us amused.
The food was varied and fresh, there was always something to suit everyone. Certain evenings we were given a glass of complimentary sherry or champagne cocktails at dinner time and cocktails for the children. One night there was a clown theme and the kids got lollies on the way out of the restaurant.
Although there were four of us, we booked a family room for 5 which was enormous. It was well worth paying a little extra for a lot of space.
The resort itself is very quiet with only a few shops, not a resort for shopaholics. We stayed in the hotel most of the time, the thought of going down the very steep hill in such hot weather was something to be avoided.
The excursions were a bit expensive. We did however go on the Sunset sail and had a great time.
Overall the holiday was brill, the downside was the hill to the beach. We found it hard going and so did our children. We would go back to this hotel and recommend it to anyone.

| said: Have just returned from a week spent at the Presidente. A great week has had by all.
The hotel was kept immaculate and all the staff we incredibly helpful.
The rooms were of a good size and the air conditioning was a big plus. They also offer some great services such as Beach towel rental and cooler rental. Pay a deposit for each towel and you can change them as often as you like. Then get your deposit on the towels return. No need to take beach towels on holiday and you don't see a hotel with towels draped over the balcony's!!
The Thomson staff were also very helpful. The entertainment staff ensured that the evenings were fun. One of the best evenings entertainment was that of Frankie Reilly. What a superb all round family entertainer!!! Could have watched him every evening.
With regards to the hill, yes this is the most direct route to the beach, but if you are heading for the mail square and have the time for a more leisurely walk then follow the mail road. Then is an excellent footpath and is not so hard on the legs.
Food was excellent and a great variety to chose from. Also given that it was so hot the air conditioning was needed.
Whilst it was the height of season, one thing I found frustrating was that people would "reserve" sunbeds. The hotel rule is not to reserve sunbeds with your towel before 8.30. Yet one morning the were over 30 beds reserved before 7.15!!! So in the end followed the old saying of "if you cant beat them....join them".
Also people were taking inflatable boats into the pool. Whilst the pool is a good size, once you have a few of these boats in there it is a little cramped. Not good for young children who have yet to find their confidence in the water.
Great children's playgrounds, as well as a soft play area for the younger children.
The only big negative I found in this holiday was the vastly over priced excursions. We decided to take the two eldest children to the waterpark, whilst the youngest child stayed with the grandparents. The cost was 30 Euro's per adult and 18 Euro's per child. Yet park entrance was 15 Euro's per adult and 8 Euro's per child. Thats a 100% mark up on the adult price and 125% mark up on the kids price to cover the coach hire!! Also take note that some of the main rides at the park operate height restrictions of at least 1.4 metres. Whilst I appreciate that the pricing has to allow for fluctuations in attendances throughout the summer this is still excessive.
There is a small shop just outside the hotel that stocks anything you may need, from baby nappies and wipes to paper's and bottled water, as well as take home presents for the cat sitters.

| said: We have recently returned home from a week at the Presidente and were extremely satisfied with all aspects of the stay.
Our room was very clean and comfortable with clean towels provided every day and sheets changed once a week. The food was exceptionally good, plenty of choice and variety.
The hotel is situated on the opposite side of the island from the notorious nightlife, which may not suit some young people but suited us as we have grown out of sex drugs and rock and roll, well drugs and rock and roll at any rate!
Past reviewers seem not to have mentioned the picturesque and friendly beachfront bars and restaurants which are a worthwhile reward for the trek up and down the hill to the hotel.
The Jardin de Mar deserves a special mention for the excellent food and equally impressive sunsets which can be enjoyed while dining from a veranda overlooking the sea.
Staff were all friendly and helpful and a special mention has to go to 'Crazy' Kate who excelled as a childrens and adults entertainer alike.
Despite the review of one of your more critical contributors, we fail to recognise the hotel so critically described.
We can only praise all aspects of the hotel and our holiday there.

| said: The first thing to say about this hotel is how clean it is. The rooms are basic but very comfortable. We had two rooms with inter-connecting doors which gave us ample room for the 6 of us.The air conditioning is the best we have experienced.
The food was excellent. There is a good range of salads and meat dished to choose from. The deserts were also very good. The restaurant was very clean and well air conditioned. Breakfast you have a choice of continental, or traditional English. You can also just have cereal or fruit if you prefer. The drinks in the restaurant during evening meals are reasonably priced compared to some hotels.
The Hotel is located at the top of a hill. Before reading about it I was a little apprehensive regarding the hill, but it is not that bad at all. For people of average fitness it is 2-3 minute walk. If you do have some difficulty walking it could be a bit of an issue.
Once you get to the beach it is fantastic. It is very clean and tidy. The water is very clean and you can see various fish that just swim around you. The only downside is that € 4.00 per sunbed and another € 4.00 for an Umbrella is a bit steep
The entertainment was very good. There was at least 12 professional acts during our 14 night stay. The other nights were the rep shows. The dodgy elvis by dave is worth the airfair alone.
Krazy Kate and Super Suzie worked very hard, I just wish I could have half of their energy. Our kids enjoyed the entertainment every night.
A very special thanks to Dave, our oldest left his CD player on the plane. Thanks to Dave and the other Thompson Reps at the Airport for getting back within a week.
The prices for drinks and Ice Cream are dearer at the Hotel. If you can be bothered you can save yourself about € 1.00 per ice cream if you walk to the Spar at the bottom of the hill. But it is cheaper than some other hotels we have stayed at.
We will definately go back again to the Presidente as we had a great time.

I only have one negetive thing to say about this hotel and that is to echo another reviewers comments on the prices of drinks and ice creams. As they have somewhat a captive audience (unless |
