Could I just point out that the entertainment team at the hotel siesta are not employed by First choice and are not reps, they are employed by the hotel.
Also the Hotel is being refurbished over the winter and will re open as a 4 star aimed at adults only with a new entertainment team in place.
For those wishing have the use of a first choice kids club I would reccomend Es Cana the resort next to Santa Eulalia ;-)

Happy Holidays!

Hotel Cleanliness - Hotel kept very clean but they need to get rid of dated furniture ...it lokked very grotty

Food - Breakfast ok , but evening meals rather cold and very similar each night ..we ended up eating in the beautiful resteraunts by the Marina

Location --Only a slight hill to the beach ..not steep at all but would be a problem if wheelchair bound.

Hotel Staff - Pepe and all the other staff very friendly

Entertainment - pretty poor and Reps didnt seem that happy to be there !

I would visit this Hotel again once it has been modernised

Well, before we went to this hotel, we read a fair few bad reviews and were a little worried, but there was really no need.

We chose to go to a family hotel to get a bit of life, but not to the extreme of San Antonio.

On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by the reception staff (all of whom spoke very good english) and who seemed very friendly. When we got to our room, we discovered it was on the ground floor and directly opposite the kids club area, since we have no children, it wasn't really our ideal location. When we asked to swap rooms, the staff were very accomodatng and moved us to the 1st floor. Although our view was nothing to shout about, we didn't really spend much time in the room so it was never a real issue.

The rooms were very clean and were cleaned everyday except Thursdays (maids day off) and fresh towels were brought daily, they even tidied my shoes up for me and put them in a neat row (rather than the heap they were in on the floor).

Being vegetarian and picky, I was worried about the food, but when I went for dinner the first night, the selection was great and there was something different every night. My boyfriend tells me the hotdogs were delicious too! Breakfast was the same, though it didn't change from day to day, it always looked nice and there was always a good selection with the chef cooking eggs and ommlettes on request. There was a different meat freshly cooked upon request each night too.

The pool was good, and although we didn't spend too much time by the pool, we did go down to play water polo everyday at 4pm, which was great fun for adults and the bigger kids. Though no toys allowed in the pool, but this is only so the lifeguard can clearly see that no-one is drowning (yes, thats right, they have a permenant full time life guard).

Sun loungers were never a problem, there were always plenty available. Snack bar food was good too...veggie pizza was lovely!!

The only slight downside was the trek back from the town centre, it was up a rather large hill, but on the brighter side, it burnt off all those ice creams and by the end of our week there, it wasn't much of a problem at all!

The staff were fab, Hose and his waiting staff were fab and made you feel very welcome!

We would deffinately go back again, and are considering returning next year!

I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking fr a nice family busy resort, you won't regret it!!

Just got back from 2 weeks at Club Siesta. We had a fantastic relaxing holiday.

Food was good although they could do with more variety for kids other than pizza.

Talking of the kids Heather, Lucy and Kim the kids reps are worth there weight in gold our 7&3 year olds loved going to kids club and cried when it was time to come home. Thanks alot girls.

The evening entertainment was ok but they could do with a bit more from variety.

We are already thinking of going back next year.

What a decent holiday. We didn't pay much for this 3 star half board hotel so we were pleasantly surprised.

The reception staff were really friendly and spoke excellent English. Any request we made was sorted asap.

The hotel is basic, quite old fashioned (70's decor) but immaculately clean. The sheets are changed every day and the rooms are cleaned too, we never ran out of spare towels (although we were in room 213 opposite the maids store room so we just helped ourselves!) The air con isn't very good so we had to buy a fan to keep cool as well. The TV was rubbish but that isn't what you go on holiday for is it!?

The children's creche was amazing. Our 2 year old daughter took to it immediately and she benefited from having a break from us as much as we did from her. She loved the small kids pool, the mini disco, the grass to play ball on!

Really good value for the creche too - not sure about the older kids clubs but they were kept busy enough!

The food wasn't fantastic. Basic chips, fish, paella etc but occasionally there was a good salmon or meat dish available. Breakfast was bad but I don't like greasy food - ideal if you do. Plenty of bagels, bread, toast etc but the worst cup of tea ever!

Hotel - spotless cannot fault

Food - Same every night - which is fine if you like fish and salad and your kids like pizza

Room - Space - none whatsoever, it was cramped without the extra campbed, Comfort - Air con does not work properly so room was always like a sauna.

Pool - too small for the amount of kids in at any one time, signs up saying no inflatables in pool but the pool was full of them.

Location - in a quiet residential area but up a very steep hill - no good if you have a pushchair or wheelchair.

Entertainment - seemed to be something different on every night.

Overall - If you like to sit by the pool or bar and let your kids run wild then this is the hotel for you!

Last year we travelled with First Choice to Majorca (Lagotel) and we literally lost our children to the kids club reps for 2 weeks. The whole experience was fantastic.
We were hoping for the sme this year but were left, shall we say a little flat. The hotel (and staff) are excellent. Clean, friendly etc (although the food was a bit same ole' same ole)
The flight out was a mare. The crew spent so long selling drinks and goods they left little time for the in flight meal. In fact we were still eating when we landed !

Check in was quick and off to the rooms no problems. Out 2 girls (8 & 4) were keen to go to kids club but one visit was enough. Not sure if the reps were at the end of their season but let us say an enthusiasm injection was needed. Spike (the ent. rep) has more tatoos than Robbie Williams and does not come across as the Child friendly he should be in a family resort.

One tip we did get from the reps was to use the public pool 2 minutes down the road. Although you pay 1.5 euros for a bed, the pool is massive and clean and not surrounded by a mass of towels that do not seem to be owned by anybody, as they stay on the bed all day with no one using them.
There is a large 5 star hotel being built between this hotel and the beach and the work does seem to start at 7.00am.

Take a walk into the town and we can highly recommend Marriners and Mels Bar as great places to eat.

We have taken the chance and booked another 1st Choice hotel, with Kids Club next year. Fingers crossed, this will be as good as the trip to Majorca

First holiday to Ibiza was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was full of families, mainly with young children and not the noisy 'clubbing' groups that I had half expected.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, rooms, restaurant, bar, pool and public areas.

Food was varied, there was always something even for the fussiest of people, and it was regularly replenished.

The location of the hotel in a mainly residential area was very peaceful. Three new hotels are currently under construction close by, but we really didn't hear any noise from the sites. The downside is that it is about a twenty minute walk to the centre of town down a steep bank, which seems even steeper to climb up on the return journey.

The hotel staff were fantastic with a particular mention to Jose in the restaurant. No matter how busy he was, he always found time for a word.

The entertainment was mainly children orientated. Which was fantastic for the people with families, but a bit holiday campish for us, especially the bingo.

We would certainly visit this hotel again, but would look elswhere for entertainment.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff.

Room was big enough for a family of 4,even a fridge in the cupboard air con not on till july needed it due to hot weather (40c!).

Food was excellent in choice and portions but not always hot, you just had to wait for it to be replenished.

Hotel staff very good, Hotel entertainment
staff Spike & Mercedes were exceptional in all that they did (Amie & Oliver say hi!) the kids didnt want to leave them.

First choice staff not bad but the kids club needed some more organisation as they managed to lose our 3 year old son for 15-20 mins
(I found him on the first floor looking for our room!!!)

Overall a great holiday, good atmosphere, good food plenty of drinks(we won the bingo which was 65 euros to spend in the bar on our second night!)and lots of friends made.

This hotel is located in the suburb of Siesta, a mainly residential area, and though on a hill with a 10 min walk into town, is in a perfect location due to:

1. being quiet and mainly free from traffic
2. picturesq and not a 'concrete jungle'
3. weather better as not affected by sea breeze

It is purely a first choice hotel with new reps, kids club and hotel entertainers, though they work hard and gave great service. My kids aged 4 and 5 attended the free kids club daily, and adored Spike and Mercedes the hotel reps in the evening.

A great holiday all round, hotel clean, staff fantastic with a big up to Jose in the restaurant and Courro in the bar, food a plenty but a bit repetitive, though something for everyone......would consider another visit next year

We booked 12 days before we went and got a great price (in part due to the night flight). On arrival at 0500hrs my wife was nearly suicidal as the room was really hot - be warned - the air-con only operates between midday and about 0300 and only when you have put the room key card in the slot (take an old phonecard or similar-you can leave the air-con cooling the room when you aren't there!)

The food was really pretty good, especially the salads and the many desserts.

The resort of Santa Eulalia is very nice but there is a very steep hill and a 20 minute walk to get to the main promenade and beach area from the hotel. There is a supermarket opposite and a couple of other shops very close by.

The snack bar near the pool which opened at lunch time did excellent food at very reasonable prices.

The hotel doesn't have a great deal of outdoor space and the pool area and sunbeds can get very crowded during peak season - get up early to avoid disappointment! The hotel itself benefits from being only 3 storeys high so the lifts never get too busy. The air conditioned bar is very nice with plenty of room as the entertainment happens outside (the First Choice entertainment team were excellent) and we had some good professional acts too.

We would definitely go again if the price was right!

Ibiza was our first family holiday abroad and we really enjoyed it.

Firstly the hotel was always spotless and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel isn`t too bad with a couple of shops, a bar/take away directly across from the hotel.

Not much to say about the rooms, nice and clean, with the basics. Only downside was no air-conditioning in your room we had to get a fan from reception so ask as soon as you get there because we had to wait 3 days.
Food wasn`t too bad, good selection and plenty of it.

Pool was nice and clean everyday, plenty of sunbeds.
Entertainment I thought was quite good, day and night with kids clubs and kids mini disco and fun and games at night plus entertainment for the adults too.

The beach and promenade are a short 10 minutes walk, passing a lovely park for the kids and crossing a little bridge over the water where the kids can see lots of fish and feed them. The beach was lovely and never overcrowded plenty of sunbeds.

Plenty of shops and bars and eateries along the lovely promenade with some bars having great live entertainment at night, also I`d recommend you visit the Marina and see all the beautiful yachts, my son really enjoyed seeing them all especially the really big and expensive ones.

Overall we had a very nice and enjoyable holiday and the Hotel Club Siesta is a hotel we would definately consider going back to in the future.
