| said: We Have just completed our 1 week stay at the Club Hotel Sorrento. It was neither the best or worst hotel we have stayed in . It was very small, quaint and clean.
Location Location, we had a railway on one side and traffic on the other do not go here for a peaceful relaxing holiday.
Food was basic, but always well cooked, not the best choice , 2 choices starter pasta or soup, main meal 2 choices. Breakfast continental, rolls, cornflakes, jam, butter, cheese ham.
Hotel bang in the centre of Sant agnello..hence the noise...
Hotel staff friendly enough, family run hotel...
Entertainment non existent, believe an organ player on a Tuesday but we avoided that.
Wouldn't visit again, just a small basic hotel central location, no frills. Cheap, cheerful, noisy.

| said: We found the hotel to be clean and well furnished, the room we had was very large but some were smaller all had showers or a bath.
The location was ideal for us with views to the mountains, the train line was close by but did not bother us.
The staff were mostly family and very friendly.
We enjoyed the food with toast, rolls, croissants, cornflakes and museli, jam, ham, and cheese for breakfast. Evening meal was salad, pasta or soup followed by main course of meats,or salads, and desert

| said: General appearance was ok but bedding tatty and smelly pillows had to be changed. Covered in sweat stains this was no easy task you would have thought I was asking for the impossible.
Shower cubicle broken. Tv unwatchable. Found out you could have aircon if you paid 10 euros a day extra. Towels like tea towels. Only had one evening meal and one breakfast. Hard roll, sour jam.
Checked out after 2 nights of trying to sleep on a concrete slab and endless trains and bells. Trains 5am to midnight bells all day.
The family need to go on a course for attitude it's a wonder they get any custom. Organ player in reception on the second night.

| said: This hotel is one of the best i've ever stayed in!
The staff were really friendly, it was like being a part of the family.
Prices were reasonable - 3 euros for a 660cl bottle of beer and 2 euros for bottle of pop.
Location was ok, about a 10 minute walk from the beach. And only 5 minutes away from the train station.
The only fault was the church bells, they did seem to ring 24/7 but after a couple of days i got used to it.
The pool was quite small but really nice, especially when you need to cool down!
Rooms were reasonable size with adjoining bathroom and were very clean.
Overall, one of my best holidays and i definitely give it the thumbs up!

| said: The Hotel was clean and had been re-fitted 2 years previous, that’s all I can say was good about it.
FOOD - Breakfast consisted of cereal-sweepings up from a muesli factory, hard rolls, (my jaws gave up after half of one), bitter jam, undrinkable tea/coffee/fruit juice. That was it! We ate breakfast just the once.
Evening meals - We gave up on the second night after the main course was 2 boiled sausages, a spoonful of boiled mushrooms and a spoonful of cold tomatoes!! It was reported to us on another evening that they served beef stew and lettuce! We reported this to the rep and wrote a complaint out. The reply was "you get what you pay for!"
DRINKS During meal times they pestered you do buy something from the trolley and sulked big style if you didn't. After an evening out we were accosted on our way in by the owner and asked "why you not drink in my bar?" The bar area was a bit drab and the drinks overpriced.
TOWELS The room towels were more like very thin tea towels or napkins, totally useless
The hotel is right next to the train line and trains pass every half hour in each direction between 5 am and midnight. Windows had to be kept closed at all times. The church bells ring every 15 minutes 24/7 and extra for the 6am Matins!!
The entertainment was once a week (thankfully) karaoke mainly done by the staff and their friends. This went on till 1 am.
