We splashed out on Horizon Club and it was worth it! What a great hotel. Our room was large and had a huge comfy bed. There was plenty storage space, sofa, table and work table and chair. There was a mini bar and tv and in room safe. There was an iron and board. The bathroom was large and had sep shower and a bath.Loads of toiletries and towels. There was fruit in the room and a paper every morning.I couldn't fault the room.
The horizon club was one of the best club lounges we have been in. Loads of choice for breakfast. Tea, coffee and soft drinks throughout the day and sandwiches and biscuits/cakes between 3 and 5. From 6-8 there was complimentary drinks and a great range of nibbles, hot and cold. You could have had your dinner there( and several seemed to be doing just that!) There is also free internet.
You can also use the Lemon Garden Cafe which is incredible. There is anything anyone in the world would want for their breakfast and my only complaint is that it is too vast and you can't decide whst you want:)
There is a range of restaurants within the hotel and also the Pub which has a good atmosphere and a good group.
The hotel taxis were very reasonable. We took them after having a carry on trying to get local taxis to take us anywhere- what is it with taxis in KL?? We expected to pay over the odds for the hotels own taxis but were pleasantly surprised.
We didn't use the pool but did sit there for half an hour on our last morning and it was nice.
I would definitely recommend this hotel- and its within walking distance of the Petronas Towers.

Arrived and was offered an upgrade to the horizon rooms for a silly price- did so , meaning we had breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktails and butler service, well worth the money. The room was beautiful, super view and a wonderful bathroom. Sitting having breakfast on the 27th floor was worth the money. Lobby is out of the world. Staff are all extremely helpful. Pool was clean and loved the service- towels placed on the beds for us. A wonderful hotel in a great location

Food was excellent apart from one area and this was around the pool area.

As for entertainment well I can only guess that the person that wrote poor entertainment did not enter the area called the pub. Live entertainment from a group of five. I have seen some good guitarist's but this guy would take some beating. The group played to the audience from 50/60 music right up to last weeks chart releases. I must admit though my favourites were things like Gary Moore and Guns and Roses - Sweet child of mine, and they were played along with other things, Great.

I have heard that Malaysia airways no longer fly into K/L from Manchester which is a pity because we chose to visit K/L instead of other places simply because of the direct flight from Manchester. If we have to fly from London we won't be going, we have done that and will not be repeating it. How do we encourage airlines to fly from northern airports has anybody got any ideas, because it is a big letdown if you want to travel further afield.

Anyway back to the hotel, we can't fault it at all-it was excellent. Really friendly staff, especially in the pub.

Bit disappointed with room, showing signs of wear especially bathroom, although very well supplied with everything and good size.

Breakfast excellent although restaurant very busy. Lots of families there. Nice touch of sending up birthday cake & card!

A great superior hotel in terms if location, facilities, and quality, this is a hotel more geared up towards the business traveller than for families.

Difficult to fault really but felt very self conscious with young children.
