We stayed in Apartment D3 with our twins who are 2. It was absolutely huge but had a small balcony. We had a double sofa bed in the dining room/lounge and a single beside our double bed in the bedroom. We took both matresses and put them on the floor in the bedroom and all slept in the same room, which was handy.
My son cut his head and had to go to hospital for stitches and the staff were excellent with us, especially Jane who was like eveyones sister. As these apts are family run you really get a feel for the 'real' Spain, where you feel that you are not just another tourist, but that they actually care about you.
Try the mountain lamb in the resturant--it's superb. We didn't have a bad meal there and ate there about 3 nights from 7. We are trying to work out how we can affords to go back in October. Can't recommend the Granada Apts highly enough

stayed in the granada apartments in portinatx. when we arrived we had a warm welcome from the owners who greeted us straight off the coach. our room was small but clean which is all we needed. we stepped out of the door and the pool was only a couple of feet away. we didnt eat there but we were told by other guests that the food was lovely. its not far from the beach and shops only a 5 min walk.

We were self catering though really only for breakfast. The food in the apartment restaurant was excellent, be it a lunch time snack or full evening meal. No complaints whatsoever about the staff, always friendly and polite. Jane is English and works in the restaurant, very friendly and helpful person. The room was clean enough and the pool area was ideal for us. It was quiet during our stay, most kids back at school by then, it possibly would not be as appealing to me during the school holiday period but everyone to their own. We plan to return same time next year. My 16 year old son enjoyed it too!

We stayed in the Granada Apartments in Portinatx having reviewed comments from previous occupants I was apprehensive as the comments were not encouraging, however we found the apartments exceeded our expectations. The staff were wonderful as were the apartments, clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. The apartments are family run and are genuinely nice people which was evident when I developed an ear infection they showed concern and helped me aquire medication. You generally sum your holiday by asking yourself if I would come back again, I can say a resounding YES.

This was our first holiday to Ibiza and I was a little wary due to the bad reputation, However what a great surprise we received. The apartments are a little basic but spotless, maids come in every other day with clean sheets and towels. Our apartment was on the ground floor just a few metres from the pool which although seemed small initially, was fine as there are only 18 apartments. We ate at the bar area downstairs a number of times and the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Jane is English so that was a big help!! Our daughter took ill during the first week late at night and the owner Heidi called her own doctor for us, He arrived within 20 minutes, much quicker than if we had gone through the reps. Heidi even came to see us the next morning to make sure she was alright and to see if we needed anything picking up from the pharmacy. Upon arrival we found a pack with milk, water, bread, coffee, butter, jam and sugar. Which after travelling and dying for a coffee was wonderful. There is no entertainment as such, just a pool table in the bar area but being such a small complex, everyone got to know each other and would sit chatting until the early hours in the bar. The apartments are just a short walk ( about 5 minutes)from the main square and the beach, which like the rest of Portinatx is beautiful. We travelled with a three year old and a teenager and they both had a great time and we will certainly go back again. If you want a relaxing holiday you can't go wrong with the Granada apartments

Granada apartments were one of the nicest and most comfortable places I have stayed. An apartment just a few metres from the adequate pool with a patio area where bunches of grapes shade you from the very hot sun. A truly relaxing experience.

I would not hesitate in going back, the staff and our rep were so helpful and pleasant.

We arrived at the Granada apartments at about 2pm and was welcomed by the owner named Heidi. What a lovely lady the apartments were lovely and clean and Heidi even put a welcome pack in our room for us e.g. water, milk, bread, butter etc which you never get unless you order it when you book your holiday.

The pool area is very well kept and really clean, with lots of sun loungers and parasols.

We ate at the Granada several times and the food was excellent, their pizzas are great also the lasagne.

The location the apartments is lovely the very first as you get to Portinatx very quiet and peaceful.

Hotel staff are nice nothing is too much trouble for them.

There is no entertainment as such there is a pool table which my daughter Shannon enjoyed.

We have already booked to go next year in May and are counting the weeks.

The area in which the hotel is situated is quite hilly, and therefore would cause a few difficulties with guests who have a wheelchair, but generally the hotel is lovely.

The room we stayed in was compact, the bathroom was a good size and we had all the necessary appliances to be able to make our meals.

The balcony was small, but did look out over the pool (which was adequate in size and was very clean and well kept).

The hotel itself was about 300mtrs from the main town square. The bar below the actual rooms is lovely. One of the ladies who runs it - Jane - was particularly helpful and made our stay a pleasure - nothing was too much trouble.

We particularly recommend their restaurants' 'Mountain Lamb' dish - kind of a lamb casserole but tastes fantastic!

All in all, I would recommend this hotel for couples wanting a quiet holiday, or for a small family, and would definitely stay there again.
