rated the Renaissance Brussels Hotel Formerly Swissotel as follows: Cleanliness Location Staff Food Entertainment	said: We had a fantastic weekend at this hotel before I travelled onto Liege on business. The location we found to be ideal and the walk to the Grand Place was lovely. The staff were excellent and even sent us up a card and some Belgian chocolates as they thought it was our wedding anniversary (something obviously lost in translation as I had explained that it was the first time we had gone away without the children since we got married a few weeks earlier)...nice thought though! We were upgraded to a suite on the Club floor and would have happily paid the upgrade to a room on the club floor. There was a lounge on this floor exclusively for these guests and this contained free hot and cold drinks all day and then in the evening they put out hot snacks and canapés, wine and beer etc - all complementary. Plus your mini bar is free in club rooms too. The restaurant and room service were both excellent although pricey. Would highly recommend! rated the Renaissance Brussels Hotel Formerly Swissotel as follows: Cleanliness Location Staff Food Entertainment	said: My hotel of choice in Brussels. Why? Location is by the EU quarter, not greatly central. But the hotel is much classier than the really central establishments. Great leisure facilities (pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, gym) and a decent team of staff. Also have a good customer service ethos. The walk from the hotel to the Grand Place is interesting and takes in quite a few different aspects of Brussels. Highly recommended.
