| said: The hotel rooms were cleaned every day and there always seem to be a maid looking after the public areas.
The food was adequate but no choice of sweets and if you happened to be one of the later diners staff were reluctant to top up the things like bread, cheese, butter.
The hotel is in a very central location but if you are thinking of going check there are no building work we were woken every morning by workmen opposite, lots of building work going on around the hotel.
This hotel was sold to us as a 4 star it was definitely not.

Although near the "noisy area" we were not disturbed by the evening revellers.
The view of the bay was fantastic.
The hotel staff were the most helpful and courteous.
The retaurant food was very good and varied. The surrounding area contained many excelent restaurants and bars (Piece of Cake, Gino's, Rocca) to name but a few.
All the people on the island were very helpful and pleasant (including the bus drivers)
The best holiday we have had for many a year.
