Well what can we say, i,ve spent six years in the british army including active service and this hotel accomadation tops the lot!! We arrived at 4am in the morning the reception looked fine but little did we know that hell was just around the corner. We checked in,Recieved our key without a smile and was told half greek where our room was. we fort our way through the Amozon Jungle to the Block entrance and serched for the lift. After convincing my partner it was safe we travlled up to the third floor and found our room.
We entered the room and was shocked, It looked like it had been used by the local tramps!! There was no bedding, the bathroom was extremly Dirty, only half the lights worked,I could go on but i will stop there otherwise i won't have enough room for the rest. We went down stairs Explained the situation and was given another room with the promise it would be fixed in the morning and we could have the room back again.
In the morning we went to reception she said (Room ok you stay there where you are)but (Know buts you stay There!)Shocked we left reception and tryed to forget the whole story. Anyway this room was just has dirty if not worse. Towels where changed once Bedding Never! The hot water was cold , the kitchen Eqipment was unfit for Human use infact i would not have fed my dog of the plates. No Toaster,Microwave etc. Maid Cleaned only when she could be bothered. Balcony was nearly overgrown from a rubber tree witch also housed various insects which just loved fresh meat. I could go on but i will stop. Rhodes is wonderful, we would go back but not to that hotel.

The public areas were fine, the room, however was truly awful. There was blood stains on the clean pillows. The wet towels were wrung dry by the cleaner and put out to dry on the balcony! The shower was a joke, always cold. The room was so poorly decorated and lit it was depressing. We had no light on the balcony. Any complaint made to reception or the rep simply fell on deaf ears. There was constant noise and shouting all through the night, every night, caused by rowdy Polish and Dutch yobs. The sunbeds were useless, broken and some were also mouldy. The food was cold, that is if you managed to get served. They seemed to look after families rather than couples, probably because they spent more! We had 2 small rings and very large pans, cooking by candle would have been quicker. No microwave and no toaster. You could hire a toaster, but its cheaper to buy one and leave it there! This place was so bad that I have written to Olympic to complain (something I have never done before). The room looked totally different to the one featured in the Olympic brochure, in fact I'm convinced that it's not the same place!! The bar staff were friendly, but they were often rushed off their feet so you were always waiting for ages to be served. We walked out of the restaurant twice because we were ignored by the staff who knew full well that we were waiting to be served. The reception staff were very unhelpful and the holiday rep was useless. No point complaining, they just dont want to know. Dont use the hotel supermarket, it is grossly overpriced, turn left on the main road and walk for about 5 minutes and across the road there is a really cheap supermarket. It is run by Brits so they know the score!

the rooms were basic but ok apart from the broken toilet seat and the toilet didnt flush unless you took the lid off with was fixed the day before we left. the bathroom sink was comming away from the wall there was no kettle ,toaster or hairdryer as advertised on the website so you were left with a 2 ring camping stove for a self catering holiday but we found there was resonable prices in some of the excellent restarants in the surounding areas (ialisos and beach front) we had a meal in the hotel wich was good until my daughter pulled a big piece of plastic bag from out of her pizza i complained but didnt even get an apolagy. the staff were misrable and aragant at times apart from the guy that worked the pool side bar very chearfull and polite. the entertainment was ok if u like kareoke greek night was the excellent no realy it was. the pools were clean but small often over packed and hard to move in them. i would stay in this area again but not at the kassandra apartments it should be a 2 star at best

Kassandra Apartments is a well kept and clean establishment. The one-bedroom apartment was spacious for the 2 of us and the facilities(including hairdryer&kettle) were basic, but were ample for a self-cetering holiday. The apartments were cleaned daily and towels supplied also on a daily basis. The bedding was changed once during our 11 day visit. There are 2 good size pools, both with childrens pools, plenty of sunbeds and a good bar ! The cafe/restaraunt serves a whole host of food from an English breakfast to a 1st class Greek meal. The bar will stay open into the early hours of the morning if required and there is also some English TV (mainly sport) and a Karaoke on a Friday night.Rooms do have air-conditioning available (small charge) All-in-all a good quality and clean hotel and would be ideal for all visitors - old and young.

I have just returned from a holiday staying at Kassandra, and I was very pleased with the accomodation. We booked fairly last minute and paid very little for the holiday, so were a bit unsure what to expect. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The room was clean and adequate for our needs. Although we didnt have a view of the pool and instead looked out the back of the accomodation complex, we could see the coast from out balcony, and had a nice breeze. The self-catering facilities were simple (kettle, 2 small hobs, and a few pots and pans) but we didnt actually make use of these since we found it cheap enough to eat out every evening (for 2 of us, we were paying around 20 to 22 euros a meal). There was a TV in the appartment, which had no english channels. But Rhodes is not in England, and I suppose Greeks are not provided with Greek TV if they come on holidays to England!

We are a pair of young females, both in our early 20's, and we were really happy with the atmosphere at the appartments. We were not looking to stay anywhere with a party atmosphere but instead for somewhere to relax, so were very pleased that the resort was mainly occupied by families and couples.

All in all, for the price we paid for this holiday, we were more than happy with Kassandra.

Very disappointed with our apartment. There are 5 blocks and we were put in the worst block, near a busy main road. It was dirty, old and smelly. We had to complain a couple of times and ask for clean towels and fresh bedding. The other apartment block were very nice and had obviously been modernised. Pools are very nice indeed and clean. Both bars are fab. Food is extremely good and reasonably cheap. Bar staff were brilliant. Also, met some lovely people.

I have been visiting this hotel for almost 10 years and have yet to complain. I first went without kids then when we had 2 and lastly with 3 and am pleased there are 2 bed apartments which are very hard to find in Greece.

The staff are always friendly and as helpful as possible my theory is be polite get politeness back.

Early and late season they could do with a little more than karaoke for entertainment some people pay the same in October and May as some in July/August so the same entertainment would be nice.

The food outlets on site are fair priced for fair food.

The hotel is a short walk away from centre of resort which is great if you have small children as their not woken by the ouzo consumers.

The rooms are cleaned every day without fail the cleaning ladies are lovely. If you want something in this hotel that you need just ask if its not right straight away they will put it right.

Arrived around 5 in the morning, very disappointed with our room, couldn't get one light switch to work. Maids 'clean' the rooms every day but never seemed to clean the floor. our balcony was a waste of time as you couldnt really sit out there as it was just to small.

The main part of the hotel was nice and bright, all staff were polite, helpful and entertaining.

Sunbeds need up dating, alot of them broken.

Would got to this resort again but not this hotel.

Just returned from 2 weeks here. Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Excellent value for money .Rooms spacious. As has been said before, they are very clean. Our towels were changed daily, and the sheets every second or third day.
The rooms were good sized, and equiped with the basics. Pools were good, (both of them), and the bars were not too busy. (only criticism here is the inside the bars it was very hot, need to put the air con on please!) Its a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 5 minute walk into Trianda itself, Probably 15 at a steady pace to IXIA. Use the Taxis if going to Rhodes. (around 8 or 10euro/10 mins
each way).
Food in hotel ok. Reception has safes, and the people on reception are good. Laz in the bar is a bit of a lad, and keeps you entertained. There are two PC`s in reception for internet access.

There is a nice mix of Finns, Swedes, and Brits in the place, So no one group seems to dominate. Also a good mix of young, old, and families...... If this is a policy in the Hotel then it worked for us.

As far as the Kassandra goes we will be going back. Its good value, Good standards, and just the right walk into town for the bars. Not on top of everything, but just the right walk to get you ready for your evening meal and a few beers afterwards.

Lovely apartments, seperate kitchen with kettle, saucepans & Television.Rooms were cleaned everyday. There were 2 seperate pool areas. The main one by reception is very pretty with flowers cascading around the balconys of the hotel. You could always get a sunbed.

We had breakfast most mornings in the restaurant which was pretty average. We had one evening meal there which was very good & resonably priced. All the staff were very friendly & helpful.

We arrived at the hotel at around 5am and were told where our room was the accomodation was at best adequate in one room there wasn't any plug sockets (well there were but they were both broken and hidden behind the wardrobe) so no mosquito plugs could be used in that room !!!!

In the kithcen we found that we had no kettle (apparently this is the norm for Rhodes )so does that make it ok ???

After asking every day for five days we gave up and bought our own water heater !! both pools were very badly maintained and the pool edging in both cases was very dangerous for both adult and child alike !!

Tthe chinese "restaurant" was cockroach infested and the chefs level of cleanliness was less than adequate !! we tried to eat there but had to leave because first they ran out of rice ? and then they ran out of chicken and sweet corn soup ?? and to cap it off arrived at the table with four plates of chips we hadn't even ordered !!!!!

Socrates resaurant in the hotels main bar was we found out far too late exceptionally good for the size of the kitchen and wouold visit that part (and only that part)of the hotel again !!! although we were told that the hotel was (in between resorts) we had trouble finding the "resorts" as in my opinion two hotels and a few bars does not constitute a resort in my opinion the best place to go on the island is to Faliraki it does not deserve the image portrayed in the press and the beach is the best on the island by far !!!!!

The hotel is in 5 unit sections (e) was our building.

A new part around the back looking at the scrap cars and on top f the old junk out of other hotels. The walls are very thin, you can hear anything in the next rooms. There were no locks on the doors and we had to put door jams in to stop them banging all night.

The rooms were cleaned every day and very good, but the hotel wasbelow standard. The main pool very poor water and a sharp set of blocks next to the green shower that has never been cleaned from the year it was put in! There is no control of the pool in any form or manner. Unable to swim due to the number of airbeds and footbals. Staff ok if you left a tip, if not, wait for your drink. We have been to Rhodes 5 times and this is the bottom of the list (keep away).

We arrived on a Sunday evening to a warm welcome.

Was really impressed with our first view. Got to the room. Directly overlooking the front pool.

Room was basic but clean, but what more do two lads want but a bed and shower. Two restaraunts in the complex. A snack bar which is open everyday till late. A chinese which is open from 6 - 11 every day except Tuesday.

Staff were great. George the barman is sound. There was entertainment which we only saw one night .Karaeoke that was a bit slow moving but with a few drinks it kicked off.

Would definitely be booking again for next year in the January sale.

Self catering was not as cheap as we thought. Would have been cheaper to go all-in at another resort. Meals at hotel were ok but do not cater for small children adult meals and portions only and a bit pricey.

2 pools on site both in dire need of refurb as paint was flaking off from bottom of pool. Chlorine levels way too high will take your skin off.

Main town too far for little ones.

Reception unhelpful never relay messages from rep.

Bar staff seem to be preocuppied with themselves and never smile.

No rep on site had to use emergency hotline to book excursions.

No kids club as advertised by Thompson.

Evening entertainment was ok while it lasted and was too late for children under 8.

If you want nothing to do this is for you.

Myself and my best mate stayed here in june, thought the location was fine, near enough to shops, beach etc but neither smack in the middle of it all nor too far away.

Pool area and bars/taverna area were lovely and had a relaxed atmosphere. staff were very friendly, yiannis, lazarus. We met a few nice people, ste and his 'dad' from clapham and vicky and her hubby, mum and ben the little lad.

The front pool was lovely with flowers cascading down the apartments. we loved it there and would definately go again.

Ste, if you read this, we didnt eat all the samosas.

I visited 25th June - 2nd July 2005. It is a nice apartments/hotel. There are 3 blocks to the hotel. I flew with Thomson and booked this hotel through Portland. But there is only Libra reps there and Olympic. You have to ring the Portland rep to talk to them. They do not come to the hotel/apartments which was not fair

There are 2 pools, 2 bars, and a lounge with television.

You are about 20 minutes from the airport, you can hear the planes often but it doesn't spoil your holiday.

The entertainment isn’t much. There’s karaoke, that’s all.

It is very warm in the mid-day so I kept out of the sun.

There is a supermarket 2 minutes away from the hotel. The beach is about 5 minutes. The bus stop is across the road from the apartments.

The main thing I have to say is that the room itself was dark and dingy, everything was brown - yuck. We had a view overlooking someone else’s house with a dog in the yard that barked all day and night. I was told that these were the only rooms assigned to Stein. Other rooms were Thomas Cook etc.

It was very easy to hear everything that was going on in other rooms, footsteps on the floors above sounded like herds of elephants; I had to buy ear plugs on my third day.

Once we locked ourselves out of the room, and the staff were very friendly, unable to open the door they kindly offered us another room for the night, which we stayed in for the rest of the week as it was a bit brighter, but unfortunately still had the same view!
