| said: The apartments were ideal for us staying as a large family. They were nice an quiet but lovely for the kids. The apartment facilities are very basic but comfortable. The bar staff were lovely, brilliant with the kids and plenty of choice too eat. Reception staff were always nice an helpful.
The pool area was fantastic and clean, just keep an eye out for Mr Fawlty the owner. Don't let him catch u jumping in the pool!! Plenty of sun loungers for eveyone.
I would definatley recommend these apartments for familes and couples as the nightlife of Ayia Napa is not too close. We enjoyed visiting Ayia Napa and Nissi Bay in the evenings but would return back too the apartments before all the wild parties began in Ayia Napa. The only disadvantage of the apartments was that there was no evening entertainment.

| said: We have just returned from a week's holiday in Cyprus (Oct 08) where we stayed in a one bedroomed apartment at The Cosmelenia Apartments. The apartment was basic but clean and provided everything we needed as a couple in our 30s with no children. Had there been more in our party, we would not have had enough glasses, plates etc. however, this could have been easily resolved if necessary as the hotel staff were very obliging.
Our apartment was cleaned regularly. The bedding and towels were changed every other day and the bins were emptied daily. The staff at the hotel were incredibly polite and helpful and cannot be faulted. Safety deposit boxes were available at reception at a cost of 20 euros with a 10 euro deposit. Had we done a bit more research, we would have known that Cyprus uses three pin plugs and we didn't need plug adapters. The pool was lovely and well used by many residents. We did not have a meal at the restaurant except for a breakfast on the last morning, which was tasty and a generous size.
The main downside of these apartments is their location. We knew that we would be a good 5km outside of Ayia Napa when we booked, so we have no cause to moan, however, it may be of use to other people to know that it is a good 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours walk into the centre of Ayia Napa. There are buses going past the apartments into Ayia Napa every 20 - 60 minutes depending on the time of day or season and they cost 1.50 euros each way, however, the bus timetables are the same at each bus stop so it's hit and miss as to whether you just catch or miss a bus. Taxis also travel up and down Nissi Ave non stop and charge approx 8 euros for a one way journey into Ayia Napa.

| said: Have just come back from the best holiday ever!! We booked this holiday as we were attending a wedding elsewhere in nissi bay, all of the family were scattered about the resort and i must say ours was the best... We downgraded this year from our usual all inclusive as thought it would be a waste as family were here and also the wedding... And i must say this was worth it!!!
The staff amazing and a huge thanks to anna and mel at the bar and bob the cook who made brilliant food, reviews say that the managment were rude but i found them very nice...
I like reviews as it gives others a few tips when they get there... First of all use a bus instead of a taxi which runs up until 11pm as it is only €1.50 and they are regular although taxis will come up and you haggle with them and they give you a taxi for the same price as the bus!!!
The waterpark is worth it but not for the light hearted!!! Good day out and pleasant places to lie and top up your tan and laze about...
The hotel complex is perfect for us.. The pool is excellent... The rooms are basic but good, the only thing i grudge is the air condtioning which is a must and i eventually reletned due to the heat and it was worth it...
The prices are ok, great brekkie for €4 and happy hours at the bar and great beer called leon. Only two things i would complain about is the thomas cook set up... The rep is useless and never there.. Seen him about 3times for the whole week for about 5 minutes each time.. Maybe if he pulled his finger out and maybe should created some entertainment around the pool...at one point there was only 6 around the pool so no haggling .. Secondly our transfer coach was late and started to panic but my cousin was on the same coach and we knew that they hadnt forgot us.. When it did turn up after about 30 mins no apology but i beleive it was due to the hangovers of some and someone was sick on the coach!!!!!
Idilyic peace and I would recommend this to anyone.. That is until a rowdy crowd turned up but to be honest there were ok and not that bad towards the end, hey ho they are on the holidays too and weren't disruptive...
Defo come back here again...

| said: This hotel is a very nice place to stay. It is quite and peaceful but yet a nice place for children as the pool is suitable for all ages, there is also a children's pool available.
It is nice to be able to wake up in the morning and not have to worry about not getting a sun bed, there was always some spare when we went down.
It is a brilliant place to stay and I would definitely reccommend it!

| said: I stayed here for 1 week with my mum. staff made it a great holiday. food is excellent in the hotel. hotel and grounds are very clean. only arrived back yesterday, booked to go back in 14 days for a 4 day break with husband. rooms are well equiped and spacious. only 2 of us. we were given a 1 bedroom apartment.

| said: The hotel room is very clean with brand new furniture, fridge, kettle etc.
The bathroom is modern, clean and best of all has a powerful shower!
We ate at the pool bar most mornings and it was really cheap and good quality.
The hotel pool is just the right size, and there were enough sunbeds to have two each, even though the hotel was fully booked.
Location is a short walk to the nearest beach, next to the really nice restaurant GARDEN OF EDEN, and three-four mins walk from the massive waterworld water park and go karting track.
Great staff make it a perfect hotel! 5* from me

We stayed for a week and loved every minute.
It is the perfect location, being just a short taxi ride away from Ayia Napa, and about a 15-20 minute walk to Nissi Beach (tho it was quite busy).
You have such a choice of near by places to eat, and the food at the apartments is brilliant.
We spent most of our time by the pool, and the bar shows Sky Sports News, and any matches that might be on (including the Cricket).
The staff are very friendly and the rooms are very clean.
We do not have a bad thing to say about this place, you must see for yourself!

| said: We arrived back from the Cosmelenia a week ago and had a great time.
This was our second time at the cosmelenia it is an ideal holiday if you want to be away from the main night life.
The beach is only across the road and with the biggest water park only 2 minutes walk id recommend this place.
In the evening they had a weekly bbq and singers which were good, bar staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcome, keep up the good work

| said: We had the holiday from hell, had £1200 stolen, no forced entry, police were called, manager treated me like dirt. Reps were a waste of time, couldn't find them, no information given about anything. Meals beaches, etc.
Entertainment, there wasn't any, only drinking as long as you like, people were rude.
This was my first holiday in Cyprus and my last, the apartment was nice and my son enjoyed the pool

| said: Stayed in these apartments 16 May 2007 we had a 1 bed apartment was very clean maids really helpful got us extra pillows. Changed bedding twice got clean towels every day. It was that good booking for later this year.
Entertainment was good, would recommend the kings Swords for entertainment and the food was lovely.

| said: Hi, if your looking for a good, clean and fun holiday, you need not look any further. What a fantastic place for the kids and an old man like me and I best not forget the wife and she was happy with a beaches only being a 10 minute walk from the appartment.
The only down side is the evening entertainments, but there are other places close by for entertainment.
Plenty to do, friendly people and a great place......

The staff were excellent and they made me feel really welcome. I enjoyed every part of my holiday. I think that the Comelenia should be rated more than a 3 star!!!

| said: Just returned back from a fabulous holiday here.
The accommodation has been recently refurbished and is definitely comparable with a good 4* hotel.
The rooms and all public areas are impeccable and modern. The pool area is spacious, clean and no problems with people reserving sun loungers as there were more than plenty, also the hotel provide the lounger mats and parasols in abundance.
The best by far about this accommodation would have to be Marcos and his wife Bianca. Their hospitality was warmer than the Cypriot sun. They have left us with memories we shall cherish forever, and we are counting the days until our return in the summer of this year.
We are well travelled and have visited Cyprus before on many occasions, but this accommodation is a little gem in the Nissi Bay that we hope stays this way!
The best water park ever is just a short walk away - a must for fun lovers!!!
Ayia Napa square is approx 5 cyp£ in a taxi, which we went most evenings and never felt uncomfortable in the bars with the kids. Bedrocks bar was our main haunt and good time was always had.
Only one thing left to say......if you are thinking of going here can we come with you pleaseeeeee!

| said: Me and my Fiancee and two children really enjoyed this holiday.
We stayed for a week but wish it had been two.The members of staff were very friendly. Very clean rooms, bar and grounds. The pool was lovely. The biggest water park I have ever seen is five minutes walk away.
The apartments are set in a quiet location but not to far away from the nightlife in Ayia Napa. It was very hot so I would reccomend paying the small fee for air-con.
No entertainment at night other than BBQ and karaoke on a Tuesday but any of the other hotels will let you see theres as long as you bought a drink.
I would definately go back. Very relaxing with lovely views.

| said: The apartments were fairly basic but with everything you need and were meticulously cleaned on a daily basis along with linen and towel changes.
Air conditioning is available at a reasonable cost and is a must !!
The pool is cleaned daily and is very inviting.
The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful, two guys stood out, Kiri and Kostas, Kiri was extremely funny and professional whereas Kostas is just an all round gentleman.
The location is perfect, 4km from Ayia Napa town centre (the further away from there, the better) and a secluded stunning beach/bay is only a 10 minute walk away, signed as Makronnosis Restaurant directly across from the complex.
Every Tuesday they hold a "barbecue" with a karaoke, I personally hate karaoke's !! The music from the bar was mostly not to our taste, it is a young person's music but that's okay
