| said: Myself and my friend (aged 29 and 39) stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is a 2* and at a cost of £70 each for 3 nights (which includes breakfast if cash on arrival is paid for rooms) we thought this was very reasonable. The hotel is situated near to the Heineken brewery, and within walking distance of Van Gogh museum. The trams are also excellent, so we had no problems getting around. Although the hotel is small and basic, it was very well kept and always clean. The staff were friendly and very willing to help out. Breakfast was a cold continental style breakfast, and although there was not much choice there was enough for there to be something to please everyone bearing in mind the 2* rating. The hotel is in two buildings, we were situated in the annexe building which is only next door but one. The only complaints we really had were 1 - the size of the rooms, you could practically touch both walls with your arms outstretched. and 2 - the rooms are fairly thin! All in all this was a fine base for a couple of nights. An ideal hotel if thats all you are looking for.
