| said: This hotel was in an excellent position right on the main street in Hersonnosis, hwever you did not hear any traffic noise either through the day or night.
The rooms were spacious, we had a twin room and a family room, howevermy opinion is that the hotel is ready for refurbishment and considering that this is 4 star, the hotel facilities were not up to scratch. Some of the outside area near the beach were somewhat scruffy.
The hotel reception staff, dining satff and maids were very pleasant, polite and helpful.
We went with Thomsons and were dissappointed with the lack of service by reps, infact we never saw a Thomson Rep the full holiday, normally this would not bother us at all, however in a large hotel we were nearly the only Brits there, there were 3 other British patries in the whle hotel.
We had 2 kids and they had no other children to paly with!
The entertainment is poor but they did try hard!!
There was only one bar open at night and it was a bit of a problem trying to get a drink in a reasonable time scale and the Bar staff were rude most of the time.
Food was of good standard and plentiful, however if staying for 2 weeks there is some repitition.
We would not go back to this hotel as we could not see our kids enjoying it.
