| said: The hotel was good value for what we paid. It was clean and our room was cleaned every other day. Staff were friendly and helpful and if there were any complaints they On a few times we were woken up by the noise from groups but its was August and Magaluf. Did not let it spoil our time there. Cannot smoke in the bar so we sat outside to watch the entertainment but did not stay as the price of the drinks in the bar were too expensive.

| said: Who on earth rated this hotel 3 star? Not only do all the lifts smell of urine and vomit, there are fag ends in all the hallways, left by the drunken teenagers who inhabit the place. On the one night we were forced to stay here, the noise began at about 3.30 and at 5.30, security turned on all the lights. Someone was throwing bottles off a balcony for half the night. People were running screaming up and down the corridor all night.
The room was a good size, but it's incredible to expect customers to hire a fan from reception. The food at breakfast was very ordinary. A strange man came to our room to plaster up a hole in the wall, no doubt left there by a previous night of debauchery. Never again.

Everyone was so friendly. Its about a 5 min walk away from everything so its good if you want a really lively holiday but quiet enough if you are looking for something quieter. In saying that I would strongly reccommend that if you are travelling with kids to stay at the Tropico across the road as this is much more suited.
Overall the food was great, the apartments were really clean the pool was lovely and the reps were spot on they couldnt of been more helpful.
Will definitely return next year.

We went at the right time of year, had it have been in high season, i think i would be telling a different story. I would not take my children to this resort but great if you want to go clubbing with a friend. Lovely people, my age.

| said: AVOID this hotel high season if you are over 30 years old, or have even the tiniest liking for the nicer things in life.
During the first week of August this hotel was full of drunken youths - shouting, urinating in the corridors, fighting, vomiting, throwing chairs and bottles from balconies and generally making pleasant quality time in the hotel impossible.
We expected a lively holiday in Magaluf in August and we are NOT killjoys or ancient - but this experience was beyond belief. It was like being in a war zone. As for the surroundings, this hotel is not a three star in our opinion; it is no more than a one star. It has a feeling of neglect and is a complete dump.
The cleaners are terrible. OK, they have awful guests to deal with so have probably given up, but they could at least have changed our towels without having to be asked. The cooker was ingrained with the previous occupants bacon fat, and the toilet was OK but not very clean. I found hairs and dirt in the wardrobe.
The rooms are basic and small and the fan turns the wrong way - so it does not cut through the air and is totally useless. Hire a fan from reception if you can.
I would never, ever go back to this hotel again.

| said: When we booked this holiday we were told the Fiesta Sahara would be a suitable base for all our party whose ages ranged from 3 to 73. Oh , if only we knew!
There were only 2 quiet periods during each day, one from 7am to10am the other from 12 midnight to 2am, the rest of the time the noise from the 18-30's groups was horrendous! Doors slamming, shouting, music blaring out, fighting. Don’t go if you want to sleep at all.
Cleaners were lax, they only came in to change our beds twice in two weeks and didn't sweep or mop the floor, towels only got changed when we phoned reception and complained. Our rooms had ceiling fans which had been fixed to rotate at the slowest speed, and could not be turned up any faster so were totally inadequate.
The pool area was lovely, perfect for the kids and the older people in our group until the 18-30's woke up and started wrestling and chucking footballs and squirting everyone with water pistols.
I will never go to this hotel again.

| said: We arrived to the Fiesta Sahara with no Thomson rep.
Reception staff were ok but had put our 2 rooms a number of doors away, this wasn't a problem as we both had good views over the pool(ask for these as it's bins or brick walls on other sides). Rooms were basic but clean standard.
Location was fantastic, couldn't hear any clubs or bars but took 2 mins to the nearest bars! Beach was lovely, bit expensive to hire loungers so we laid on the beach, was great!
Lots of choices of places to eat,tom browns, the indians (began with a P i think) and the mexican nr tom browns (was upstairs but open air) were all really good!
BCM great value, if PRs want your group in ask for the deals you want, they can change them, really cheap for nights out.
Had such a good time we came again in September and am returning next June for 2 weeks this time. ps Palma is a good day out,bus stop opposite Benny Hills 2euro50.

This is not a family hotel young men being sick around the pool area on a day time ,drunken people running around the corridors all night, banging on doors, shouting all night.
Its full of stag and hen parties and unless your drunk you,ll never sleep.
Also Magaluf is a horrible place for families, groups of drunken people swearing and shouting getting harrassed of the touts to get you in their pub even though we had a young child with us.
We stayed out of the way if we could,we couldnt wait to come home and would never ever ever visit Magaluf again not even if it was free.

| said: After staying at a sister hotel last year which was for families with small children we decided to book this hotel as it wasn’t a Thomson superfamily hotel, and with slightly older children we thought that this would be better.
We could not fault the hotels cleanliness I've never seen so many staff cleaning even the windows of the reception were cleaned every day.
As we went self catering we decided to pay for the two weeks and have breakfast in the hotel and you got such a choice. There was bread rolls, doughnuts, cakes, cold meats, cheese, salad, cereals and full English to chose from every day.
The actual hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful better than the reps.
The hotels location is great far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough if you want it.
I can not comment on the entertainment as we never stayed there of an evening as we like to go to the bars and clubs. We might be late 30,s but we like the noise and the atmosphere of the strip.
The only reason that I personally would not return here is that even though we like the noise we didn’t book this hotel as a Freestyle accommodation and that is what half of it was. Families and this age group do not mix well especially as they are loud between 3am-6am jumping in the pool and shouting screaming fighting and swearing. It was a shame but you hire a fan and close your doors and you can't hear them unless they decide to give you a ring at 4am or coming banging on the doors. I felt sorry for the Fiesta staff they are trying to get things sorted but they don’t get the backing of the reps unless you phone the out of hours phone number then something gets sorted.
There is one upside you don’t have any bother getting a sun bed as half the people are in their own beds until the afternoon when they come to life again. Don’t get me wrong they are great around the pool no bother they play with the kids and talk and act human its just the early hours that they are not much fun but if you can switch off from them and close your doors you can manage.

Thats when all the teens come back from their clubs and start slamming doors screaming and jumping in pool. Thought security could have been a lot better. Skytours shoud state more clearly this is a 18 to 30 hotel.
Couple of families but the tropicana across the road looks better for families. Best thing was the pool and location breakfast is a must much better than the outside bars 4euros as much as you want.
Sun loungers by 9 no problem pool gets busy with gangs of kids after din.

The Hotel is great and the rooms where clean and big enough for the four of us sharing. The Balconies are massive we usually got to beds out there as the rooms can get really hot at night and with only two fans in the rooms it can be really hot. Other than the heat at night in the rooms we all found the hotel great!

The Hotel is really close to the pirate show and you can walk to the go karts easliy, although both were closed when we went, kids very dissapointed. The Hotel put light entertainment on every night in the bar but finished very early and sometimes didnt go on at all, as advertised in the foyer.
I think this hotel would be ideal in high season as it is so central in magaluf, I would stay in the Fiesta Sahara again but never in December.

The staff were very nice and helpful.
The entertainment was good, we ate out most of the time thinking the food would be nasty but decided to try it the last few days and I must admit it was very nice.
There were a few noisy kids there running up and down corridors so we had to pop our heads out of the door and tell them to stop, politely! and we never heard them again.
We would go to Magaluf again but not that hotel because of the iron and microwave etc. Will probably go to a better one.

The room was clean and spacious. As was low season, this is the best time for the kids, they were entertained by the best set of staff I have every met.
It must have been good, as most of the people staying in the complex, filled the bar on a night. Young and old!!!!
The indoor pool was warm, but the outdoor pool was too cold. I would recommend this hotel for any family wishing to go in low season, you will be able to relax.

The reps I found werent very helpful at all I had my bag stolen from the side of the pool which had my safe key in it when I asked reception and the reps they just made me feel like it was my fault and then I had to pay for a man to come and break into the safe and get a new key!
The hotel didnt put much entertainment on for any of the groups lads and girls which stayed there it was much more for the familes which wasnt good if you just wanted a rest from all the mad pubs and clubs
Definitely invest in a safe key they're sooo worth it

The reception staff hit us with a 50 euro deposit charge we hadn't heard of before and thought it was funny. They then looked at us as if we were a bunch of criminals for the rest of the holiday.
There were some guests that got carried away with the loud nature of the place and started thowing the chairs over the balcony. All this caused was the security guards and police banging on doors and then banging whoever opens the door round the knee with a truncheon.

It's an ideal hotel for a couple but only in the quiet season.
There is lots of on site entertainment but this is mainly for children and families. The hotel bar is more pricey then some of the pubs around, but the supermarket on site is reasonably priced although there are alternatives near by.
It was good to have an indoor pool, as the outdoor one was freezing. However, the pool was packed with children all the time so never much adult swimming time.

| said: Arrived at hotel in the middle of the day. I had stayed in this hotel before about 7 years back, but couldn't remember much about it.
Reception was nice, really cool if you want to cool down. Reps are almost always at reception. First problem was we had requested a pool view, but came away with a view of a road, some fields, the aquapark, and a nearby estate. Not ideal, as I'd had a pool view when I'd gone before and it was lovely.
The fan wasn’t really working and made a noise and was a bit wobbly. As one of the other reviews said, we slept on the balcony. I slept in the beds the first night, and was sick after it was so hot.
The apartment itself was pretty basic, but clean enough, and enough for what we wanted with it. Only some minor complaints as said above. Also fridge was trying its best to keep the food cool, but not really that well!!! Towels were also not changed as often as I'd like. Also no welcome pack as we'd had in previous resorts.
Plus, note...there isn’t a safe in the rooms!!!!! We used a suitcase with a lock and we were fine.
Welcome meeting was OK, but they were more intent on selling you the rep pack, which gave you 2 nights at BCM, a different club every night, aquapark, a night at Pirates (which is deffo worth it!) and a Booze Cruise. They told us we basically wouldn’t get tickets to Pirates otherwise so we bought the passes, taking a HUGE chunk out of our spending money. We didn’t venture with them lots. Not much was at welcome meeting.
Also, they said in brochure on kids from May-Oct but there were families a plenty.
The pool is huge, and mostly clean. We had one day where it was quite windy and LOADS of tree leaves and bits blew into the pool, and no one was quick to tidy it up. Pool is really nice, but TOTAL lack of sunloungers!!!
Pool bar is ok, and do good Sangria. They’re not too bothered about you taking it round the pool to drink. They also let you take blow-up toys into the pool, but as it’s so big, it isn’t crowded.
The entertainment is OK, would be better if more people took part. Most are teenagers, so they don’t want to go to the kids disco and bingo etc...They do different things on different nights, like ABBA night, and hypnotist etc. But we only stayed for the bingo and quiz before we went out. Reps here are really nice too!
True, it’s mostly for teenagers and 18-30 but I'd say it’s a good hotel for families too....really big as well....BUT it’s true what they say about the noise at night so watch out! I used to sleep on the balcony (might’ve made it worse, and we were right by the road) and people were walking home at 5am shouting and singing, and one night we even woke up to a bloke on a moped smashing the windows of a car beneath out apartment. Make sure you get a pool view!!
The shop is ok, and they sell everything...but venture to the Spar that's 2 mins down the street where things are a lot cheaper. We got most of our things from here. There are also telephone boxes outside the hotel. Make sure you use the green and blue ones, these if you can, as the others can swallow your money!
LOCATION is everything here....it’s fantastic!! It's 5 mins from shops, beach, aquapark, nightlife the strip and BCM....seriously it’s in the middle of Magaluf. With Burger King only over the road and McDonalds on the corner!! We didn’t get a taxi the whole time we were there, as everything is in walking distance of the Fiesta Sahara.
If we ever go back to Magaluf, it will be the Fiesta Sahara for us.

Hotel staff were helpful and the entertainment was ok for the kids.
There was quite a lot of noise early morning by young teenagers but by the second week the security was better.
This hotel would be a very good family complexs if they would control the loud noise by drunken teenagers.

| said: unfortunately we ended up at this diabolical what is meant to be classed as a three star hotel through an unfortunate double booking with our tour operators.
we arrived mid day to be greeted by loud music ,an unhelpful rep- who was only interested in who would take part in drinking activities!!!!!!!!!!
our room (that is a polite descrition) was dirty, with sweeties on the floor stained mattresses and an attractive view of a side wall of a neighbouring building covered in graffitti. and yes the climax could only be the sick on the stairwell on the way down to reception.
as you could guess we didn't hang round for diner and went to a decent hotel in a nice resort!!!!!!!!
don't go if you are over 20!!!!!!

| said: CRACKING HOTEL!!!
We've just got back and we're all so depressed. You MUST go to Fiesta Sahara it's such a cool hotel.
The rooms are really clean, and the maid service was every other day so there's always plenty of clean towels and loo roll etc.
There's a phone too and you can call all the other rooms for free so it's constantly ringing during the night. If you leave it off the hook it makes a buzzing noise for about a minute, then stops - so if you want a peaceful night doing that can help!
The rooms are always boiling though so we slept on the balcony, but watch out cos we got water thrown on us from the lads above at 8am!
You have to go to pirates it's a cracking night out, oh and the catamaran was good (from what i remembered after the hangover)
The security was pretty tight and they didn't like us making too much noise - we were threatened with eviction most nights but they never acted on it - but don't think they won't cos the lads next door to us were thrown out after their first week.
Would definitely recommed Sahara, if you're going i'm very jealous!

| said: For all the people that said the hotel wasnt clean, was too noisy or the rooms too basic I really dont understand where they are coming from..
I travelled in a group of 8, we booked with thomsons looking basically for a holiday where we could go out every night till all hours in the morning, have a clean room with enough space to come back and sleep in. It was about £330 each flights inclusive etc and self catering.
The room was immaculate when we got in which i was very surprised at, because almost everyone there goes out, gets pissed, comes back, whiteys everywhere and makes a mess. But the cleaners come round regularly and provided you let them, they will clean your room, give you toilet paper and towels etc when you need them and basically keep the hotel in good shape. So if your worrying about dirty rooms, i never saw any that were dirty because of poor maintenance, they were only dirty because the residents liked living in their own filth. In the room there is a spacious enough living room, a small table with some chairs, cupboards and a fridge and two hobs. Standard big enough bathroom and a separate bedroom with two beds. In the living area there is a big setee with a bed underneath it that is separate from the actual couch. so one person makes a bed out of the couch and the other sleeps on the bed. The balcony is big enough for two matresses, which is where we slept every night.
There is a fan in the bedroom and living room, but to be honest its still roasting. You sleep in at most a pair of boxers. No need for the covers because its too hot. It was never a problem though, theres vending machines on each floor and the heat was never unbearable.
The pool is huge and kept clean. Loads of loungers but if you want one get up early cause everyone wants one. Also theres a poolside bar that does a full breakfast for 3.7 euros. If you want proper food eat out or go to the resturant. The staff in the hotel are freindly enough, they do moan if you make too much noise, but we were told every second night that it was our last warning, still waiting to be evicted. Most people have there dorrs open and cd players up, especially between 7 and about 12 when folk are getting ready to go out. It gets quite noisy again between 4 and 6 when folk start trapsing back in drunk. But its never too noisy to keep you up and usually you are getting in around the same time and your so drunk that you sleep in seconds.
As far as location goes its right next to everything. Within a few miniutes your at bcm, the strip or the beach. Burger king, pizza hut, subway etc are all at the end of the street as are the first bars.
Would recommend anyone after that sort of holiday to go there and also to the sahara, Id go back again definatley.

| said: The hotal rooms were basic but lets face it you only stagger in drunk and sleep there! They were clean, decent sized and the balcony was fairly big.
The hotel was very lively and noisy at all hours of the day and night, but thats what we were looking for. i wouldnt recomend it if you wanted a relaxing holiday or if you didnt want too much noise! There are also telephones in each room that you can use to ring other rooms for free, so our phone was constantly ringing day and night and it cant be left off the hook as it makes a screeching noise.
the pool is huge and clean and there is loads of sunloungers and a bar. Its quite cold though, the sea is warmer.
If your balcony is facing the road and grass area its pure comedy to see just what gets thrown off peoples balconys.... lilos filled with water, tables, chairs, food, towels, you name it it gets thrown.
If you play ur music too loud your CD player gets took off you and you have 2 pay 50 euros to get it back! if you have already had a warning then you get fined 200 euros!
The hotels in a great location, walking distance from everywhere.... all the bars, clubs, resteraunts, waterparks and pirates. GO TO PIRATES it will be the best night of your holiday. make sure you go on an adults night. free sangriah all night its great.

| said: The Fiesta Saharra. Well let me tell you it's not all great. Yeah the location was amazing, 5 mins from the beach, 3 from BCM, 8 from the strip, and about 7 from the amazing Pirates. Room was nice, i mean had basic amenities and was clean enough.
Right now for the rest of it: If you like blasting music at 9 in the moring from right underneth you when you've just crawlin in 3 hours earlier and have a banging head then yeah it's your thing - unfortunatly it wasn't ours. And as for us younger groups of people - we don't expect to be told to put our music off (yes not down, off) at 8pm!! And compliants every night for the slightest bit of noise and being threatened with eviction every other night was not our idea of a Magaluf holiday. I suspect this may be because our holiday was in June and maybe there are a few more families at this time of year rather than july-august.
Apart from the trouble we were getting from hotel staff it doesn't stop magaluf being the best holiday we have ever been on and we are sure to return next year but probably to an 18-30 hotel.

The accomadation was very basic and not very clean - apartment was very small but we did have the balcony facing the pool which was ok. The location of the hotel was great - near to everthing and very handy to stagger in after enjoying the night in Benny Hills and drinking to much of Mr Daniels (Jack that is NOT Paul!!!) The hotel staff was friendly and polite so was the Entertainment staff - I even played Bingo and went on stage with ELFED to do the funny dance how embarassing!! All in all a good holiday was had by all we even made some friends Elfed, Du, Tony (our sexy tour guide) and would visit the hotel again in Magaluf.

The night life is excellent and I would recommend Mano's for the young and lively and Joker's for the older generations. Both these bars are situated within 400m.
We had no problems with the lifts and didnt hear of any breaking down, they seemed pretty new actually.
The only downside was the entertainment organiser, regular announcements were made over a tannoy/megaphone system and due to her broad Irish accent we couldn't understand a word she was saying (apart from tirty tree) :-)
I will deffinately return to this hotel as well as the other fiesta hotels around the world.

| said: Hola;
Myself and my mate, stayed here in the Fiesta Sahara, January 04. It's a hotel that only really suits the young clubbers, there is always day in day out lads and girls on the drink, mixed groups, the hotel is basically in a great place for night life, close to all major clubs and bars, local shops for the daytime, most bars are 24hrs, so anytime of the day if your that keen clubber its there for you always.
I had so much fun, and for that time of the year there were plenty of hot girls, we were only there for a week, but it was a long week of drinking everyday and night, you get to know and meet many different people across England whom are on a drinking holiday as well. This is, I have to say, better than Ibiza, that place has gone commercial, and rubbish!
So if anyone of you lucky people who shall stay at the hotel, you need go check out room 208,
the whole concept of this being is like the "beach" movie, in where there is a map or maybe even other things, hidden well behind the mirror, and please, in every room as you walk in there is a white shelving tower built into the wall, you need to attempt to squeeze into the gap!!
Sounds weird now, but you'll see what I mean when you see it for yourselves, it is so funny, and hysterical when drunk!!!
Hope you enjoy it as much as we did so, i'm back out there October 2004, for 6 months,

Mostly due to the time of year it was quite quiet but still plenty to do. The staff at the complex were very helpfull and maintain the hotel to a fairly high standard. The only problem really was the state of the pool, it neded a good clean but i think this was because it was so damn cold only a lunatic would venture in, (unless you were extremely drunk). I have already book to go back this year and would recommend the hotel to couples, young parties and anyone up for a good time

Location was excellent, 5 mins from anywhere! Went clubbing, out for meals was so easy to get back to.
Staff were excellent, the reps were helpful yet i found the entertainemnt to be very hi-de-hi and not much money had been budgeted for it. They tried hard, the entertainers themselves were quite good but needed some euros chucking at it!
Would definitely return to this hotel but maybe next time ask to be sited away from families as when u are coming in at 2/3/4/5 in the morning the corridors make so much noise and you can hear everything walking up and down. Not the best place for families although we got on ok because the kids are not toddlers. Would not stay here if i had a baby, or wanted a quiet holiday and bed early.
Fully recommended for young adults and those that dont mind some noise.

We spent our last week with them. I loved it. Our hotel was good. Everyone seemed to get on with each other and I loved it round the pool. Everyone kicked there tunes - it was mint. The staff were friendly.
We had a storm there when I was there it was funny all the trees were blown over everywhere and we used to run back to the hotel at night in the rain and it was heavy. We used to get soaked but it was a giggle.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the view was of another apartment block and no sunshine got to the balcony.
It was a good location for all amenities. Shame the pool was empty for decoration purposes however we could use the pool in the opposite hotel.
All we can say is if you want to sleep whilst on holiday avoid this hotel.

The pool was cracking and there was plenty of talent always around it.
The reps especially Nick were downs to earth and provided great entertainment 24-7.
The staff of the hotel namely the security guards were constantly on a power trip and considering the brochures write ups about the hotel being for young lively people, they would not let us enjoy ourselves to our full loud potential.
The other holiday makers were generally easy going and up 4 the crack, like ourselves.
I would recommend this hotel to all ya'll and will probably back there myself next year... aiiiii (Hi mum)

The pool was great, really big and was cleaned every night.
The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the main strip which was ideal for stumbling home after you've had one too many.
Only a few complaints, The lifts were dodgy so only use them in an emergency and the security guards seemed quite strict considering the place was meant for young people. You couldnt go out on the balcony at night without the security guards shining their tourch up and shouting at you to go in.
Apart from those minor problems the hotel in the main is excellent for young people who want to have fun, however I would warn older people to steer clear in high season as the it can get quite noisy, especially around 4 or 5 in the morning when people are coming home form the pubs and clubs.

Having been used to staying in Timeshare accommodation, I thought the apartments were great. With a toaster, Kettle, Cooker etc I would not say this was basic amenities! There was plenty of room for 4 of us to stay with a large balcony to boot. Although us young people do make the noise we have to sleep through it as well which I didnt find to be much of a problem. To be honest in Magaluf what do people expect? The food served at the on site cafe was fine and the staff helpful enough at reception and maintenance etc. Our apartment was cleaned regularly and we had replacement towels etc every few days. The apartments are close to all amenities with all kinds of eateries and nightlife a mere 5 minute walk away! I do agree that these apartments would not be suitable for families during the height of summer because the majority of people staying there are young people but some of the comments made make me wonder if you were definitely staying at the Fiesta Sahara!!!

| said: Had read a number of bad reviews about this place before we left, but found vast majority of them unfounded. There were 8 of us across 2 apts (one 1st floor, one top, 5th). Place was fine. OK, the lifts can be guaranteed to break down at least once a day, so if you are young or old seek a lower floor.
The place isn't a problem. Close to a number of great amenities of all descriptions to suit all age groups. Pool and pool bar, inc snacks etc., good. Place feels safe. Security guards are a visible presence at night, although their effectiveness can be questioned on occasion. The Thomson's reps are fine and helpful, Nick particularly so in our case. However, as with many places, keep your wits about you and be wary. Don't leave doors open at night and take usual precautions as you would at home.
Comments about towels being changed once a week clearly wrong. Maid comes in every other day to change towels, but if you haven't left them in your bath then they won't be changed. Be polite and let them in when they knock - don't just sleep through it and complain afterwards. Bed sheets changed at start of second week. Apts were fine with plenty room for four adults to enjoy themselves or get under each others' noses. Your holiday is as good as you want to make it. Go out there hell bent on enjoying yourself and you will. Take advantage of the many things (bars, discos) to visit!
Do go to Pirates. It's great, the 'adult' version on a wed night expecially. As for bars you are spoilt for choice, but as a pre-disco bar we would thoroughly recommend the STOP bar, next door to Boomerang disco. DJ Leon is tremendous and has the atmosphere great inside the place.
That's my 3rd visit to magalluf in last five years and still enjoy the place, Bananas especially...and I'm 35!
Go there and enjoy yourselves folks...

| said: Can I start by agreeing FULLY with the other comments made on here 29/4/02. We booked a late deal with Thomson hoping for a nice break. At the airport we were greeted by a rep saying that we were off to the Fiesta Sahara. Sounded great ! Got on the coach for the transfer and the driver had no record of needing to stop at the Sahara at all... A slight hiccup maybe. Drove down to Magalluf stopping at all kinds of beautiful hotels, only to get to what I'd class as an ideal youth hostel. We went for all the usual cons that Thomson offer including the in-flight meal additional cost that I STRONGLY recommend that you do not pay !
Our room was EXTREMELY basic, highly vandalised, non clean, no tv, and NOT worth the money we paid.I'd be a lot happier if the hotel was lowered to 1* NOT the current 3* that Thomson give it... I contacted the thomson rep at the desk to report the balcony window was non lockable due to vandalism, we're still waiting for "someone" to come and look at it now !
The restaurant was something else. Imagine putting all your crockery into the dishwasher and it coming out still marked. That's what happens here. Food was of poor quality and lacked inspiration, most dishes were cheap and cheerful, one usually stood out as being a bit more special.
Breakfast was GREASY to the extreme, bacon was literally floating in a bowl of fat !!!
We stayed by comparison in a 3* accomodation in Sa Coma, Majorca in October 2001, and it showed this place up 1000%.
I really cannot stress enough that the points made by the other member about the Sahara are EXACTLY right. The noise tops everything else, people singing VERY LOUDLY in the streets at ALL hours of the night. This place buzzes 24 hours a day and is ONLY suited to young clubbers, the hotel is ideal for them ONLY !!!

These apartments are popular all year round with single groups who tend to think that the whole world should know that they are coming home at 5 or 6 in the morning. There is a security guard employed to try and cut down the noise, but he is flogging a dead horse!! The corridors have Large Metal Fire Doors that when opened and closed would waken the dead and because of the tiled corridors the noise vibrates through the whole complex. SO BEWARE. Young couples and groups should enjoy the complex because of its closeness to all the action, provided they are prepared to put up with the NOISE.
