| said: Booked the Castell Del Mar after reviews here. Have to say that it is a lovely hotel with a wonderful location. From the outside the Hotel doesn't look much but it is really nice inside and very clean. We were on the 11th floor with a sea view which was wonderful. Rooms of a good size and again kept clean by the maids.
Staff were extremely friendly and the customer relations manager always on the go and asking if you are enjoying yourselves. From the day we arrived one of the bar staff who served us always took the time to have a chat and make you feel welcome. These little touches add so much to a holiday.
The food choice was a bit limited and almost always warm not hot, but still of a good standard. Breakfasts were very good with excellent choice. Go for the omelette which is made fresh for you and very tasty.
As other reviews say, this is very much a German orientated hotel but so what !! We found everyone to be very friendly and their English is far better than my German !
Perhaps not fair to comment on the entertainment as we never stayed in to watch it, however on leaving or returning to the hotel in the evening we saw some of the entertainment and it appeared to be geared toward the middle aged to elderly German guests.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Castell Del Mar and yes we would visit it again.

| said: Great hotel,great location,great staff this was our third visit to this hotel,if you are looking for a family hotel with lots of entertainment and lots going on then this is not for you,its mainly for couples who want piece and quiet and quality yet on the doorstep for everything you could possibly want outside of hotel.
Food is good but could be improved, but in my opinion compared to other hotels Ive stayed in abroad I would rate it the best ,dont miss the gala night for a romantic evening we sit outside on balcony overlooking the pool area and beach "PERFECT" the only thing I think really could do with improving is the evening entertainment but that would never stop us from visiting this hotel as we prefer to go out after evening meal ,as I said before quality ,piece and quiet and plenty of sunbeds available no need to rush out at 6am to get towels out if this is what you are looking for Castell de Mar is the place to be we look forward to our next visit .
Note lots of german clientele but thats Majorca for you.
