Got to the Ibizamar at midnight. The fellow on reception was very nice and pleasant. We had a room on the third floor, 304 to be exact, and were surprised at how clean it was.

While we were there for the week the maids came in twice and you could tell they’d been in by the smell of bleach. The bathroom was the best we’ve had on holiday so far, spacious and clean, hot water on demand and a good powerful shower.

All the staff and cleaners we encountered were polite and friendly. These hotel/apartments we thought was ideal being half way between the bay and the town with a spar shop next to it and taffy’s bar two shops away for an English breakfast with English sausage and bacon.

There did not seem to be any entertainment on at night but then we were out every night anyway. We will definitely be booking to go back to the Ibizamar next year.

we arrived early hours of the morning and found the reception staff very welcoming. during our stay if you said hello to any staff they would answer politley but they were all always busy doing their work. there are hundreds of guests walking past staff every day and you don't expect them to say hello to you all the time they would never get their work done but they were always polite and kind if you spoke to them. there are about twelve steps up to the hotel but at the main entrace between the shops if you walk right and go down the side of cockney rebel bar there is a gradual slope which runs parrelel to the pool you are then met by another slope which brings you to the front door of the hotel.
when we booked our holiday we were fully aware of the apartment lay out and was a bit concerned that it would be too small for us and our two teenage children, we were plesantly surprised and were happy with everything. the sofa beds in the living room were longer and wider than an average single bed and pushed together the only thing was climbing over the arm if you needed the bathroom during the night but this was never a problem we were there to sleep and hardly woke up once in bed after a long sun soaked day.the sheets were changed twice a week and we did ask for another change one week and the maid was very obliging no problem at all. we had four bath and hand towels twice a week but if they were dirty we put them in the bath and they were replaced without question. if you put a do not disturb on your door the maids did'nt come in otherwise they did and had always swept and mopped the floors changed the bin liners and cleaned the bath sink bidet and toliet. the kitchen is small but functional i cooked a nice meal twice but it is just as cheap to eat out and save you the trouble.the bathrooms very very nice and the shower was very good which is over the bath.
the balcony was a nice size with plastic chairs no table but not a problem. we were poolside which was full sun all day after about 11am the even numbered rooms are poolside and odd numbered rooms are not and would be nice and cool to go back to after a scortching day in the sun. the main door into the apartment is a fire door and shuts on its own quite easily always make sure you have your card key which is unique to you and only fits your door the receptionist provided us with two and am sure would have allowed us all one if needed. there are covered bins at the end of the corridor if you have extra rubbish just place the bags there and there emptied regular. we made use of the saftey deposit box which gave us peace of mind about our money documents ect.
on a couple of occasions we heard slaming doors to apartments but as the doors are quite strong it may not have been done on purpose. the rooms are very quiet once inside the only time we ever heard our neighbours was if they were on the balcony the same time as us. the pool side bar opens about nine in the morning which plays quiet music until the arrea starts to fill up then the music gets louder but it creates the atmosphere for the clubbers and the music is.nt to everyones taste but you get used to it and the bar staff will put your cd on if you ask them to. after two weeks you realise that the music is repeating but they are selling the poolside music cd so its a good way to promote it. there's lots of younger people early afternoon getting into the party mode for the evening and the pool never gets over full mostly people are just having a quick dip to cool down. the back end of the pool area nearest the childrens playground is shady until about half one but the rest of the pool area is full sun more or less all day. the childrens play area is good and kept clean and tidy and also a shady retreat for children which is a well thaught out plan of the area. the bar has a good selection of drinks and snacks but you have to eat on the tables with umberellas near the bar. the childrens pool is very nice for younger ones and safley railed off from the large pool which is quite deep at one end. we bought air beds to use in the pool and we needent have bothered unless you want to take them to the beach because there was always half a dozen or so every day and nobody minded which ones they used. everyone was happy and relaxed and not once did we see any trouble. the poolside and the pool was clened every morning and we saw them monitor the pool water at least 6 times while we were there. there were plenty of sun beds and no matter what time of the day we went to the pool we could always get one. tip the bar tender who is very genorous with the drinks and he rings a bell. all the staff speak good english who we spoke to and were all very freindly. the crazy golf is good but it's too hot usually during the day as its on the roof of the shops , tea time is the best to have a go . opposite the entrance to the golf there is a cool shady seating area ping pong and pool table, there are also two pool tables by the pool.
there are large shower rooms and toliets in the basement and a room to put your cases in when you have to vacate your room the only way you can get to it is through the hotel, there are doors leading outside but these are locked for security reasons, we felt no need for concern leaving out bags there. the showers were very comfortable and spacious for us to use to get ready for our return trip home and there's a large area with comfy chairs and tables outside the showers. you'll also find the laundry down there too if you want to waste some of your holiday washing.
i hope i did'nt forget to mention anything because for a two star hotel it was exceptional.

The Hotel itself is simply OK. There's nothing special at all about it.

We checked into the hotel at 3am and the porter just gave us a room card-key without barely looking up at us, said thank you or anything like that. The staff at this hotel aren't extremely rude, but a bit of politeness never hurt anybody. You know what I mean?

Be warned, you have to cart your suitcase up about 15 steps to get to the hotel. Not what you want after a 3 hour flight is it really?

The rooms were alright. Kinda cramped. It was an okay size. Livable. After two weeks however, sharing with 3 other people it become easily messy, dirty and tight-for-space.

Rooms consist of two single beds, a partition wall across 3/4 of the width of the room then 2 wafer-thin foam sofa beds, a minute kitchen, a decent sized balcony and naturally, a bathroom. The main beds looked comfy enough, but the 'sofa beds' (that in the brochure, were described as 'pull out') are barely suitable for sleeping on. Added onto the fact that they never get us proper duvets, blankets etc. We slept for two weeks on a wafer-thin bed, with a wafer-thin pillow on wafer-thin linen sheets. Granted, it was a hot time of year but you'd expect something a little more comfier. My bed as well was covered in stains and cigarette burns as well.

The maid came round every four days to give (between 4 of us, mind) 3 clean towels and one toilet roll and they popped in clean bed sheets on the 8th day. Bit rubbish really. The maids didn't clean the room at all and made no effort at all when they delivered the towels (They have their own key to rooms) to pick dirty things up or anything like that.people left dirty linen and towels and rubbish in the corridor, it was especially bad on change-over night when people fly out on wednesdays and saturdays

The kitchen is small, yet decent enough to wash your bowls in and such but don't expect to cook any meals on it. The hob is basically non-working and took upmost of 20 minutes to boil water. You're also provided with a portable tv. It worked fine and was great to catch up with a bit of UK news and that. The kitchen table was moved straight onto the balcony to provide us with some more space however!

The bathroom however, is where the apartment shines. You can tell that they've been recently referbished. Nice grey slate tiles all over. Nice toilet. Nice bum-washer-thing. Nice bath and sink. Just, pretty nice really.

The balcony is cool too. Good size, nice for evening chills.

The rooms have a safety deposit box situated in the wardrobe. Handy to have just in case. It's charged daily. I think its about 3€ p/d with a 5 deposit or something. We never had any security issues though (We were on the 3rd floor though) and never heard any stories at all of any break ins.

Word of warning however, try and request a pool-side view. Our room faced the back of the hotel and we were greeted with trees. While that's not necessarily bad (probably a bit quieter), the back of the hotel is plagued with rubbish that people have flung from their own balconies. The hotel staff did try and clear it up every day but it just kept happening and happening and it was quite offputting, especially when youre on the 3rd floor and can see everything. SHame, really.

the doors are also quite hard to close as well. they slam easily. just a warning incase you want an early night. you probably will be woken up.

the doors are controlled with a card-key and if you lose it, you can get another one easily at reception. no questions asked. no ID requiered. whilst its reassuring to know you can never be locked out, it's a bit worrying that they never checked for proof, identification or anything. you could be anyone getting a room key for a random room.

The swimming pool is a good size, quite deep really. I underestimated it for its length. It looked a bit 'murky' however. I'm not sure if it wasn't cleaned properly or whatever, but you can't see the bottom of it. It's cloudy-chlorined water. It's not that bad though. S'alright for a dip! There are plenty of sunloungers but youve got to get your towel on it early as possible though to secure a bit of the suns rays around the pool. If you had down after about 11ish, you have no chance. There's a pool bar, which is cheap and reasonable selling beers, cocktails and snacks and that. However, if you bring anything that wasn't bought from the bar down to poolside the barstaff rush over straight away and tell you to stop eating or get out. It feels like they have radar equipped or something! It plays dance music from like noon till 6pm as well. its not so bad, but if youre after a quiet relaxing time by the pool, you wont. go to the beach instead.

The hotel has a public computer 1€ for 10 minutes. Bargain, i reckon. especially if youre just checking your emails.

It's also got minigolf facillities for 3€ that are okay, but there's a much better one around the corner if you head left out the hotel.

The public toilets in the hotel are a disgrace. They smell of all sorts and feels like they're never cleaned.

When you check out you can store your cases in the underground cellar storage if you want to. Again, we had no problems with security but to call the door holding it safe is a joke. It was a wooden door that was off its hinges secured with a padlock. Like I said, no security problems for us but it was dodgy.

The location of the Ibizamar is excellent. There is a fantastic beach literally 2 minutes away and walking into San Antonio town takes about 20 minutes. It's a great walk along the beach front. Also handy for the two big clubs Eden and Es Paradis (can't miss them, theyre next to the huge glowing multi-coloured towers). Again, that's about 20-25 minutes to walk. Next to the Ibizamar is a 24hr Spar. A little bit pricey, but very very handy although if you walk left 5 shops down there's another supermarket who's much, much cheaper. Lots of nice local resteraunts next to it as well. We ate out at Liberty American Bar, PJ Castella (our fave, the owner Antonio is a legend) to the left and if you go right, theres Taffys bar which serves great breakfasts.

Saying all the above though, I did have a good stay at the ibizamar, it's just plauged with little niggles. once you get around that though it's an okay place to stay to get your head down at night (or should i say in the morning :P ) and maybe some afternoon chills. you get what you pay for and this is a cheap hotel. its not going to be a palace.

i went with 7 of my friends and we all had a great time in ibiza, but we didnt spend alot of time at the hotel.

We have just got back from a 4 night break in Ibiza staying at the Ibizamar Apartments.

After reading previous reviews of the hotel I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is situated between some bars and shops which was very convenient. The hotel reception was very clean and inviting. The staff on arrival were very friendly and happy to assist with any queries.

We had a 1 bedroom apartment on the second floor. The room was very clean with a nice bathroom. Unfortunately the room was an open plan layout without a separate bedroom so if you are sharing be aware of this. The kitchen area is very small so don't expect to be cooking meals in the room.

If you are staying in the middle of the season then I think you can expect a certain amount of noise from clubbers etc returning early morning slamming doors and shouting. We also found that quite a few people who stayed at the hotel insisted on throwing pieces of furniture, bottles, rubbish and clothes over the balcony. The staff at the hotel were very good at clearing this mess up every day.

The pool area and bar was inviting however the bar did play loud dance music all day so it was nice to escape to the beach. There were also times where there was no sun loungers available by the pool and people were lying on towels on the floor.

There is lots of niece restaurants near to the hotel. Our favourite was DU NA Restaurant which was located on the beach front. Also Taffy's Bar was excellent for breakfasts.

Overall a very good hotel and excellent location however I don't think I would have a family holiday there in the middle of the season.

This was our second visit to this hotel in 2006 and we have reviewed it previously.

We were once again satisfied with the place, our sheets/towels were changed as promised, the room was also cleaned to an acceptable standard but as we previously mentioned you have to make sure you are up for about ten on the day they are due round, ask at the reception !

The staff were excellent even booking our taxi for our return ride to the airport (no charge). The barman and one of the receptionists even took our son and his mate round the town once they finished work.

Seriously we can't fault the place for what we paid, so much so we have booked again for July 07. If you want three four star don't come here but then you get what you pay for.

Well wot can I say about this hell hole, get back to the travel agent and ask to book another appartment, because after being there a few days your room will never get cleaned,

We were there 2 weeks, what a dump, so if you can manage to cancel then please do. Two weeks of getting dryed with the same dirty towels, sleeping in dirty bedding, never again, and maids always said they had cleaned are rooms, but never did,

Kichen was dark so never used it, we looked out onto a brick wall, and bathed in yellow dirty water most nights.. if you think you are going on a s/c hol then you will have your eyes opened.. this is because on a s/c hol familys normally take food/sandwichs/crisps/pop etc down to pool for their kids, as again we have booked a s/c hol, well not here, as soon as the bar man sees any one opening pop/crisps etc he is over in a flash saying no no no, you can not eat that here, only things from my pool bar, what a joke.

So take plenty of cash to spend at his bar. We never had this problem cos never did it but for families I don't think its very fair.

Ibiza is a lovely place and will be going back but not to this place, honestly cancel if you can as it will spoil your holiday.

When we arrived the reception staff were most helpful. Checking in was straight forward and most things about the hotel were explained. I requested the use of the safe deposit box in the room and althugh haveing to pay 35Euro it was well worth it.

Our romm was based on the second floor, it was well furnished and very clean. The kitchen, although very small was only used for making refreshments, we did not use it for cooking as there were many facilities close to the hotel for food.

The hotels location is first class, close to execptionally clean beaches with only a 25 min stroll to the main part of San An - along the sea front. This has to be recommended if only for the sun-set's in the evenings.

We made full use of the local busses which were very good in respect of times and cost - much cheaper than using the local taxi's.

Although there is no entertainment as such at the hotel, the pool is well looked after and there is the crazy golf should anyone whish to try.

The hotel staff - including the barman - provided all the help and assistance when asked for and are a credit to the organisation which they work for.

The only down side is that there can be some noise in the early hours on some of the mornings especially when youngsters were returning from the clubs.

There would be no doubt or hesitation in using this hotel again, and I would recommend to anyone planning a holiday in this particular area to use this hotel as your base.

Whilst the apartments are a good standard and clean and the location is good, i'm afraid the staff completely spoilt it all.

The manager inparticular wasnt interested in customer service and was rude and unhelpful.

Other staff including bar and reception simply couldnt be bothered, the bar shut at 11pm on Saturday night as he "wanted an early get away".

We asked to extend our room for a late departure for 30 euro and were told "yes no problem" and "no hurry for payment" Only to be rang up the next morning saying we had to check out in 15 minutes or the police would be called - this happened to six rooms on the same day not just us!

Having stayed in this hotel 3 times previously with the other half we decided the kids were old enough to come and sample the island. The room has always been very clean and the staff have been really friendly and helpful. I have just booked again for June 2007 and cant wait. Also, having been to Ibiza many times a lot of places have ceiling fans which just push hot air round the room. This place has mint air conditioning!

As we only use the hotel for showering and sleeping this was excellent value. Just far enough out of San An for it to be quiet but close enough to walk into the town or a 5 euros taxi ride from just round the corner. This time of the year it is full of clubbers but once you shut your door at night we had no problems. The pool was great but the towels did go down early,we got a sunbed when we wanted one ! If you want your sheets changed make sure you are up for ten (hard for some). All in all we would come back again.

As it was rated a 2 star apartment, I wasn't really sure what I was expecting, I was just hoping it was better than the previous 2 star I stayed in. I thought for a 2 star apartment, it was excellent. The only reason I can think why it is rated a 2 star is because the kitchen is very basic, but who really wants to be cooking on holiday, when there are plenty of resturants about. So we wasn't too bothered about the kitchen.

We were on the first floor, it did get quite nosiy at night!! The bathroom was really nice, it looks like it has recenlty been refurbished.

After just one of the reviews about the sunloungers, they said their beach towls were thrown on the floor after leaving the pool area for 10 minutes!!! Well, I was up early every morning to sunbath, and I noticed loads of sunloungers being taken up with beach towls with no1 sitting on them. One of the staff at the hotel picked everyones towls up, and thrown it on the floor!! I actually lost my beach towl whilst at the Ibizamar. I left my beach towl on my sunlounger about 2:30pm, to go to the shop, I actually forgot I left it there, on my return to pick it up (about 6pm) it had gone!!! I looked everywere for it. I very much doubt it was one of the staff who moved it, because there were plenty of people still round the pool side and in the pool!

Ibizamar apts is in a good location. Its brilliant if you go there with children as the San Antonia Bay is packed with children, and loads of things for children to do. Then San Antonia Town is about 20 minute walk, or you can catch a taxi for about 5 euros.

THe west end at night gets really packed, full of reps dragging you in places!! You can buy a pint of vodka and redbull for 6euros, and they fill half the pint with vodka, so if your after a cheap night - then drink that!!!

Amnesia cream opening party was amazing, that was the highlight of my holiday. We paid 38 euros for the ticket, which includes a free bus there, and a free drink of your choice once you are there. The taxi back was 15 euros.

There seen no trouble at all whilst on holiday - which i was expecting abit, with it being san antoinia.

If you like a curry, you have got to visit the curry club!!! it was the nicest curry I have ever had. really smart place as well. reasonbly priced as well. aprox 11 euros for a curry, then 2 - 3 euros for rice!!

overall, i had a brilliant holiday. I just need to catch up on my sleep now, as I got in about 5 or 6 every morning, and i like to sunbath, so I was up at 9am in the morning.

Oh - the cafe opposite the spar shop, does a great english breakfast for 3.50.

We couldn’t fault the hotel for the money we paid.
Luckily we were on the 3rd floor had great views of sea/sunsets/pool. Our floor was very quiet once you closed the door you couldn’t hear much of what was going on, however you could hear the odd person running up and down corridors. Rooms were nice, kitchen basic, fab bathroom I would say recently refurbished. We were cleaned every 3 days however it seemed most rooms were a bit hit and miss, when I say cleaned they woke us up at 10am and were in and out in 5 mins, don’t think the bed linen was changed but we did have fresh towels.

Nice pool area at the beginning of the holiday, which was cleaned every night, but towards the end they seemed to give up. The little pool bar was over priced with annoying music pumping out all day everyday but cant blame the staff for that as it was the holiday makers that were putting their so called music on!

ohhh and you need to get up early to get your beds by the pool, as I think the clubbers must put them out at 7am when the get in then go to sleep till 3pm when they finally use them! One morning we came down got our 2 beds and went to breakfast we were only gone an hour and someone had removed our towels and placed them on the floor! How cheeky was that!

Staff were friendly never had a problem with them at all, maybe because we didn’t cause them any problems.
One thing I would say was at the beginning of the holiday it was peaceful with more families than young groups however by the time we left it was turning into an 18-30's style so I think in the height of the season it will be very loud.

I know there were several people at the hotel on other floors that had lots of trouble with noisy neighbours and the staff didn’t seem to do that much about it, but as I said we didn’t have these troubles at all.

I would go back there again either beginning or end of season but prob not at peak times! The location for us was fab as all the places we know and love were just around the corner!

When I got there I wasn’t happy as the hotel entrance is between shops and bars and thought it would be very noisy. How wrong I was in the whole fortnight we were hardly disturbed, only holiday makers coming in and leaving at all unearthly hours, but that’s understandable.

The rooms were lovely and we only stayed in a studio, there were four of us in the room and although we would have loved a separate bedroom, but for what we paid or the holiday we were impressed. The rooms were cleaned twice a week, the staff were very friendly especially the receptionists.

The bar staff were mainly English and would tell you the cheapest and easiest places to get too, rather than paying the rep prices.

Don’t bother with the Hippy Market though (recommended by the rep) it’s not worth the trip. Definitely go on the champagne diving boats that leave from the Harbour at san Antonio town all day (a lot cheaper than the rep organised ones). If your a family/couple going try the Café Royal just a short stroll away and be entertained by a lovely liverpudlian called Jackie, she is just a bag of fun and really made the holiday. They also have some fantastic acts on too.

Overall a great holiday and we would go back again, to say I wasn’t keen on the place when I got there as we don’t normally book this sort of holiday, the buzz of san Antonio just sucks you into the atmosphere of it all.

Although we went in May, they say June, July and August is heaving with clubbers. As a family am glad we went when we did as it was certainly lively enough for us, without being over the top.

Eating out was very reasonable too just in front of the hotel are some great eating places.

The hotel was situated about 10 minutes walk from San Antonio and 5 minutes form the closest beach. Not the biggest and very close to the busy main road but very shallow, warm water.

The biggest plus was that there was not a single jellyfish in sight!!!

The hotel itself was very clean, staff friendly and knowledgable of the local area.

Did not eat in hotel as lots of cafes and restaurants close by. The best breakfasts in the Bay were at Taffys Bar just next to the hotel. We were regulars at The Pink Panther bar and took part in lots of their unique music quizzes!! A must for all your quiz fans out there!!!

We ate in several restaurants but the one that stood out was the Amsterdam. This served English, Spanish, Chinese and Indian food and catered for anyones taste.

Very friendly staff which made you want to go back again and again.

We stopped in the hotel and found it ok at first, but after a few days we found our room never ever got cleaned, and maids always said they had done it and hadn't. Kitchen had hardly any thing to use and was so dark we never did, maybe this was because we were looking out on to a wall so never got any sun in this appartment!

Pool was ok but when you come away with kids most of the familys are on a budget, and tend to bring food, crisps and drinks round pool which I think is great, as stopping in a self catering appartment you would think you could do this. Oh no not here though, it was like he had a radar on. As soon as someone opened a can or sweets he was straight over saying you can't eat that here only things you buy from the bar, which I found to be shocking. We never got pulled as we never did it but watched ever day him running to people who had just arrived and found this to be very funny.

This hotel was truly awful, looked like a multi storey car park with a poorly maintained pool area which resembled a car park with no atmosphere at all.

The rooms were described as 1 bedroom which is a total mis-description. Basically is one large room with a dividing wall with no door, you have to walk through the supposed bedroom to get in and out of the apartment and the bathroom, so no real privacy.

The cleanliness was very poor, we had our apartment cleaned twice in 2 weeks and after many complaints. A lot of the residents got into the habit of leaving all their rubbish outside their doors so the smell wasn't too good either.

We never really used the hotel facilities much as we stayed at the beach most of the days or hired a car to explore the island. The Ibizamar is in a good location across from Es Puet beach which is probably the best in San Antonio Bay.

Been to Ibiza approx 10 times, around 2 to 3 times a year, will be back again next year but not in the IbizaMar.

Went to the Ibizamar apartment in July for two weeks they were one of the best Apartments we have been to.

The reception staff were excellent and very helpful people who spoke very good English. We went self catering so cannot really comment on the food but drinks at the bar were cheap.

Rooms were very clean and there was loads of space in them with everything you need for your holiday we were in a 1 bedroom apartment. Cleaners came 3 times a week.

There is no entertainment on at night just some music being played in the bar but there is a couple of pool tables and a big crazy golf which runs on the roofs of the shops below the apartments.

There is a spar right under the apatments which is open 24hours and a great little restaurant next door which also does great takeaway food you can also sit in.

These apatments are in a great location about 5mins walk to the beach, and about 20mins to San Antonio town or you can get a boat taxi for about 2eruo.

If I went back to Ibiza I would definitely stop in these apartments.

We arrived at the hotel in the early hours on the 21st August 2005. When we tried to book into the hotel they said that English people had trashed the room and that we would have to get a taxi to another hotel and stay there the night.

The hotel room were horrible and dirty and I found the Hotel staff very rude.

There was no entertainment in the hotel the whole holiday was a nightmare.

I would never visit this hotel again and would never recommend it to anyone else.

The water was also Yellow when you had a shower or bath, I am very gutted as we can only afford one Holiday per year.

Never go to the Ibizamar

Cleanliness in this hotel was a big let down towels changed once in 7 days bed not changed and floor not swept just mopped over.

Very good location central lots of bars and shops and a great Chinese just outside.

Staff helpful and friendly at reception.

Our room was situated right next to reception which never allowed us any piece and quiet at nights continuous noise of people in and out.

I visited this hotel with my parents and younger brother we all had a great time! I love ibiza and have been repeatedly going there for 4 years!

This hotel is in the centre of everything you need - bars, restaurants, entertainment etc...it's a 2min walk to the gorgeous beach and there's a beach bar with everything you might need for the day.

We arrived at the hotel late on the friday night and were gutted that we had missed that night to go out, however, the spar at our hotel was still open and happily still serving drink, this being 2.30 in the morning.

Next day was brilliant, the hotel is gorgeous, I dont know about anybody else but our room was immaculate, the air conditioning was amazing and all in all we were totally comfortable and after reading reviews the hotel was already above our expectations.

The Pool isn't a massive pool, but i'm sure you will agree it is perfect size, there weren't any children with it being June and everyone was having fun all day in the pool, we just lay there most of our days diving in the pool or sucking ice lollies. HEAVEN.

I must add, for wimps like myself and andrea...there wasn't one creepy crawlie in our room...which made us feel a whole lot better (besides our 22 our delay on the way back.

The holiday was an all in all 10 out of 10)

We were dumped in this hotel after our hotel was closed due to refuribshment.

Staff were rude and ignorant.

It looked like a multi storey car park.

The pool was often filthy, yellowish water.

Also the balacony door would not close for 5 days - waited for the maintenance but they never came. Eventually Miles, our rep looked at it and as he used to be a double glazing fitter he mended it and then the hotel tried claiming it was never broken.

The icecream kiosk and bar were mainly closed.

The lifts were temprimental.

The cooker was a waste of time - it took nearly half an hour t boil the kettle.

We had booked a one bedroom apartment, but this was just a glorried room with a wall dividing it into two. To get in and out of the apartment yu had to walk through the bedroom.

Ate out at Libertys restarurant nearby and found the service to be excellent. We went there often as it was such good food and excellent value too. They do a great 1lb burger meal and you get a free cocktail if you manage to eat it all!!

If you're phoning the uk don't use the hotel phones in the rooms despite the fact they say same price as phone kiosks they are much dearer. Better to use the phone box shop just down the road towards san an bay much cheaper.

Quite a walk into San An.

There is no entertainment in this hotel whatsoever.

My boyfriend, 9 year old son and I stayed there the first week in June 2004.

The hotel is a lovely hotel the staff were friendly and the location is brilliant as it is far enough away to get peace at night but close enough to everything to walk to.

There was no entertainment and the hotel bar was very pricey so we had to pretty much leave every night. The whole week we were there there was a parot show one night which was really funny, but 1 night of entertainment wasnt enough. There was nothing for the kids apart from the pool and the 1 guy who was enteraining the kids played pool football with the kids for a couple of hours a day which my son loved as he was quite happy to stay at the pool all day, but I think if he had been younger he would have been bored.

Tthe hotel bar was empty most nights (I suspect the prices kept people away ) but to be fair it was the start of the season.

I thought the hotel was great!

The reception lady didn't speak much English but that wasn't too bad.

Yeah the bar was pretty expensive but the Spar was just down the steps.. Infact I remember there were a lot of steps up to the hotel so not good if you're drunk or elderly or even both! hehe Also down the steps was a nice cafe which we ate at pretty much every morning it was pretty cheap and if you gave them a tip they'd ring a bell! The best bar was Tin Pan Alley.. 3 euros for a cocktail and at happy hour you got one free - my favourite price!

Overall I thought the hotel was great our room was facing the sea though to the left hand side there was a sort of hippy house but was quite entertaining to watch at night when there was juggling and breathing fire! Crazy
