| said: The hotel was about 50 mins from the airport and situated down a dusty lane which was a bit off putting, but the hotel itself was really nice with a great pool.At night the food was absolutely gorgeous, the breakfast was okay but nothing special, the food during the day was quite expensive which is probably the hotels way of cashing in on the fact that its quite a distance from another eating place.Same goes for the price of drinks and water, plus your not allowed to bring water from another shop etc into the hotel so you have to buy theirs. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful although they struggled with basic English and finally the entertainment consisted of one belly dancer per week plus a film showing most nights, pool table and table soccer.

| said: A very good hotel for families on a budget. The food is good, the staff are excellent, especially with the children. The accomodation is above average and clean. The hotel has two pools, pool area bar, and game area bar with pool table, cinema, and lounge area. The location is a short walk through the back streets to the main bar area of hisoranu but taxis are cheap and the shuttle service on the main road is only a five minute walk. There are themed nights twice weekly for entertainment but with hisoranu been so close we missed it all. The best entertainment we had was from one of the hotel staff, a one man show, bartender, cook ,comedian, money lender, cocktail shaker, childminder and taxi driver ,to name but a few. If you go to the Balkaya Hotel his name is "Oz" and he is a genuine diamond.

| said: Staff rude most of them did not understand English or choose not to.
On arrival at Hotel was informed they were fully booked. Then a room turned up from nowhere! After 2 days was asked to leave this room as it was reserved for another family. 2nd room was damp in several places. Bathroom was mouldy and flooded the whole floor every time shower was used! TV in room was mounted on wall bracket which was over my sons bed was almost hanging off of the wall.
The food was disgusting breakfast was recycled to lunch, then lunch was recycled to dinner. Food was also constantly covered in flies!! Could not even make out what the food was half the time revolting looking mush!
Drinks were not edible either cola was disgusting ended up buying my own. Alcohol contents in drinks were non existent, as was the entertainment.
All in all would not bother if I were you going to this hotel. Have been going to this region in Turkey for 10 years absolutely the worst Hotel have ever had the misfortune of staying in. Nick named Hotel Paridiso!

| said: Rooms wise all rooms on the 3rd/2nd floor are decent I guess. You get your bed a shower room TV and free air con.. No problems here to be perfectly honest with our room except for intermittent water supply.
All Inclusive is a joke. Food is bland and boring and is basically slush most nights not what expected. Drinks are just as bad if your able to get them from the rude bar staff who treat you as if your wrong for asking for a drink.
I Would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel to be quite honest as it has nothing to offer. Rubbish food/rubbish facilities a pool with so many chemicals in it burnt my eyes. In all I still had a good time but this is due to not spending much time at the hotel.

| said: We come back two days ago after a week over there,we only eat two bowls of soup in the whole week the food is rubbish!!
We had to have cold showers, the water you drink isnt fresh they fill it up with a hose pipe round back of hotel. The staff was very arrogant you only get the choice out of 4 drinks including beer! when we went to pack on our last night we had to do it in pitch black as the electric went!!
If there wasnt a english resteraunt right across the road we would of been stuck for money. Well recomend Morgan and Sallys lovely people and food.
Never go back there again.

| said: As my first time all inclusive this was a joke.
The room was ok, as clean but damp bed covers 1 pillow and 3 days no water, the food we had 3 times at the most. In 2 weeks we had to eat out the rest of the holiday no food for young children, water filled up from a tap around the back and then poured into big container next to orange, if you want bottled water you have to pay. You get beer in half pint glass and watered down vodka. The bar staff was very rude.
I will go back to Turkey but never to this hotel as I don't like to be sick and spend more money on food and drink. My dog wo;nt eat that food

Drink was watered down. Ran out of beer vodka or co2 bottles every other day.
Water was always going off so no shower sometimes.
I will definitely not be going back there. What a waste of money.

| said: I went to Balkaya with my friend and her parents. I stayed all inclusive and you certainly got a lot for your money.
The hotel cleaner was brilliant, she cleaned our room every day and 3 days out of the 2 weeks she made swans out of the towels and laid rose petals over too.
The hotel food wasn't my taste but they did boast a wide selection of food for different tastes.
The location of the hotel is ideal if you want to go to the main area of Hisaranou which is just a short walk away.
The hotel staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you or even just to have a chat! I especially liked Cenk who was very talkative and a right laugh. There was entertainment on 3 times a week and it ranged from belly dancers to a traditional nigh.
Overall I really enjoyed Balkaya and I am going back next year and I am really looking forward to it.

The younger staffs were well mannered and helpful although the older staff seemed a little arrogant.
The entertainment was ok but considering the cost of the holiday it was excellent value for money.

| said: All inclusive meals were chicken rice and chips every day for the first 2 days my daughter lived on chips and bread.
There were no extra pillows no extra beds the rooms were brushed but not mopped, unless you were 3ft you could only go on the balcony (window box) one at a time.
The sunbeds were dirty and the table where they served tea and coffee I don't think had ever had the table cloth changed.
The location was good only a short taxi/bus ride to main town and handy for other restaurants (you will need them)
Hotel staff were very young and in experienced allowing glasses in pool, which did get broken.
The entertainment was virtually non existent and very amateur.
I would go back to Ovacik tomorrow as it is a lovely friendly place, but I will never return to this hotel.

| said: The All inclusive menu lacked imagination. There was very little deviation from chicken, chips and rice.
Hotel cleanliness was poor. Signs of damp problems throughout and poor maintenance regarding regular washing dawn of pool area and sunbeds. Glasses around the pool side caused concern due to regular breakages.
Hotel staff quite young and naive and we felt more Hotel discipline was required.
Entertainment was limited and if a number of guests had plans to go out for the evening then the entertainment was cancelled.
