| said: The apartment we stayed in was excellent. I think it must have ben recently refurbished as the decoration was of a high standard. We had wonderful seaviews with a balcony which is what we requested. The only bad thing we had to say about the apartments was that the taps and shower didn't work properly and kept going hot and cold and turning themselves off. It didn't spoil the holiday though. We didn't go in the pool but it looked fine. The location was excellent as it was right in the middle of the town right by all the shops and restaurants.

| said: Stayed at the Atalaya for 1 week in september 2008 with my hubby and 2 children age 21 & 15. The apartments were in a great location with bars, restaurants, shops all very close by. A few minutes walk to the lovely clean beach.
Apartments were adequatly furnished with microwave, 2 ring hob, pans and a non electric kettle, crockery and cutlery. Air con worked when you had the balcony door shut, it was also cooler in the lounge area than the bedroom. Safe in room was 2€ a day with 5€ deposit.
Maids did a good job but the bedding was not changed in the week we were there.
We had a fab view from our 8th floor balcony.
We were not bothered at all by any noise from the bars whatsoever!! slept well all week.
Would definatley stay here again.

| said: we booked this hotel with our children age 12 & 6 because the brochure stated that there would be entertainment for the whole family plus the option of eating in the spacious dining room. the restaurant was closed, and had been for a year also they had stopped the entertainment.we had to take the children out every night to a different hotel for some fun.even the bar wasnt used could they had even stopped lunchtime snacks.other families were in the same boat, but thomsons were no help. we are all taking the matter up the tour operator.obviously will not be going back

| said: This was our 4th visit to the Atalaya...This time I was slightly disappointed as there were no entertainment whatsoever, It did state in the brochure there would be but nothing..The food was very limited at the bar with only sandwiches with tom and jerry plastic cheese.
However dont let this put you off. There is plenty to do around the resort. And dont listen to the people complaining about the British Bulldog as we were on the 8th floor and all the noise stops at 12 midnight, I know ive been here 4 times. The staff are excellent, rooms are cleaned everyday with clean towels. Visit the Bulldog and you will hve great food and be treated very nicely by the staff. I would recommend these apartments to families, and we are going back again next year so it cant be that bad...

| said: we stayed in the atalaya appartments cala millor. couldnt fault the appartments they were lovely clean and very spacious.
we were on the 8th floor over looking pool very nice.
but also over looking the british bull dog pub which had karaoke on til the small hours. we didnt get any sleep the whole week. my husband slept in the living area so he got the worst, me and my daughter were in the bedroom at the back, but could still here it.the people in the next appartment moved there matresses into there kids room to sleep to get some peace. I dont mind a bit of music but it was the volume of it. everyone we spoke to were all moaning about the noise. this is the only reason i would not visit this hotel again.

| said: being very central to the bustling centre of cala millor,these apartments are in a superb location.the room was cleaned 8/11 days.all the staff were friendly and always smiling.the only 3 things which were below par was the hotel food and the night entertainment and with the pool area being quite small it was a bit of a race to get prime position with the sunbeds.apart from these small negatives i'd recommend a stay.maybe we'll return another time.

| said: Not long come back and have to say we had a lovely time at the Atalaya, the rooms were very clean and the hotel and staff were lovely.
The pool was quite small but the kids had a great time playing in it, it was cleaned every evening.
We were self catering, and the supermarket is just outside the front doors (handy).

| said: We stayed in a second floor apartment overlooking the main pool, which in my opinion was too small for the size of hotel, although there is another smaller pool round the other side.
The staff were extremely helpful, and polite, although the maid service was quite poor(our room was only cleaned four times in the eleven days we stayed there) which we had to go to reception for clean towels.
We didn't eat in the hotel, but there are plenty places within walking distance that over good value for money(Cheers bar and the British bulldog)

| said: We were given an apartment on the 2nd floor overlooking ther main pool. The apartments were very clean and all on our floor were from the uk. The staff were very friendly, the reeption staff spoke in four languages that we counted. The pool area was hosed down every day. We werer self catering but one occaision we did pay for breakfast one morning - my husband had the fried breakfast which he described as awful!
There was entertainment on every night for those who wished to stay on site, during the day there as also activities for kids.
Excellent apartments I would definitely take my family back here.

| said: These apartments are in agreat location, one street up from the beach and right on the main strip where the shops and bars are, but don't worry there is not much noise after midnight as the bars have to shut their doors at 12.
The apartments are really clean and were quite big enough for 3 of us,we asked for the 10th floor in the main building and the views are stunning.
There are two pools the one at the front got the afternoon sun and was quite a sun trap.
The staff are so friendly,there is a restaurant on site where you can pay for meals has you go or book for the whole stay. Only tried breakfast once, was'nt too keen but it was good value for what you paid.
There was entertainment on every night, can't comment on the acts has we went out. Plenty of places near the apartments to eat, we ate at the Texas bar twice, really nice steaks and at the first visit was given acard for 25% off for every visit after.
Hope to go back next year.

Our apartment was cleaned 5 out of the 7 days the maids spoke basic English and all staff we're very polite. The apartments were basic but what do you expect for a 3 star!
Food is quite cheap in Majorca so we ate out most of the time but as self catering we had fridge, toaster, two ring hob and full kitchen equipment and utensils.
Theres a supermarket just around the corner. Beach is just down the road and theres a few bars and resturants but this area isnt to loud.
I will definatly go back to the Atalya at some point in the furture.
If visiting Calla Millor check out the Texas Bar we ate there 3 times!

| said: After having to cancel one holiday we booked this hotel on a wim but WOW what a place and have already booked to go back.
The ATALYA apartments were lovely and clean and had the most helpful staff going, you were greeted with a hello and goodbye every time you went out and came back and it made you feel you were at home.
Didn't eat at the hotel but it all looked very nice, pool was nice and were quiet most days .

| said: The hotel was very clean, and well presented. It had all the facilities we need during our stay. We didnt eat at the apartments but one day we had a look and it looked amazing. The bar was great but we tended to go out more.
The situation of the hotel was great!, it was close to the beach as well as resturants, bars shops and clubs! the area was fantastic and we were very pleased with the resort in general.
We are planning on visiting summer 2006 but we have not currently decided where to go. But we were come and stay again and again.

| said: Hotel, room and staff excellent. Only missing sea view but literally 5 minutes walk from hotel to lovely beach and promenade and many restaurants. Cala Millor Beach was beautiful and felt very safe. 20 minutes walk to Cala Bona where the port and restaurants were our favourites, especially the ones to the right of Janet & Johns. Cant rememeber the name but the one that began with an Xloc did fantastic food, lovely views!
We were in the main building which was a bit noisy at night but when the patio doors were shut and air conditioning on did not hear a sound, slept well! Lovely resort, especially for famillies, highly recommended!

| said: Lovely hotel and I liked the option to pay for meals if you wanted to. We had breakfast one morning and it was very good.
The hotel pools were very quiet at this time of year-the only place I have EVER stopped where towels were not put on sunbeds.
Reception staff were excellent - the friendliest I have ever met.
Well positioned hotel. Try the BBQ place down the road. The burgers are homemade and the special steak and chips before 7pm is something we couldn't finish and excellent value for money. One child to every 2 adults eats free. We paid less than 20 euros for drinks and a meal for 3. The ribs were not up to much though-stick to steak or burger.

| said: We booked the holiday on a self catering basis but when we saw how clean and lovely the restaurant was we up-graded to half board. There was a fantastic choice and we even managed to keep our 2 year old daughter happy! There were lots of high chairs available and the restaurant staff were very friendly and professional.
Our room was the nicest apartment we have ever had. I was really impressed as it was much better than other 3 star properties we've stayed in. Also, I was really pleased with the cot in the apartment. It was large, wooden and modern - not a flimsy travel cot.
It was a bit noisey at night as our room overlooked a karaoke bar but it wasn't bad enough to spoil the holiday and it didn't prevent us from sleeping.
This resort and these apartments are ideal for a young family. We will definately be returning. The only down side I can think of is the transfer time from Palma airport. It took about an hour and 20, which isn't much less than the flight time! Although it's worth it once you arrive.

| said: When we arrived at the hotel they told us we were on the tenth floor as far as we were concerned it was the best.
The room was spotless and maids came in 6 days out of 7. We had a sea and pool view which was brilliant, The hotel is only 5 minutes from the beach, and there are shops all the way along the promenade as far as cala bona.
Had a brilliant time would definatly go back there.

| said: these apartments are fantastic and i would recommend that anyone who stays there will certainly enjoy themselves. the towels were changed daily and the maid had only 1 day off in 7, the apartments are spotlessly clean at all times. the food in the hotel was lovely and a different choice of 4 meals every day and had a full english breakfast. it is definately paying the extra to go half board. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the entertainment couldve been a bit better but otti (childrens entertainer was good). they had a 'flamenco night', bingo,'grease' show, and a duo singers.there was a mini disco every night for the children. the apartments are in four buildings the main one being 10 floors and one above reception had 5 floors and 2 other blocks across different roads. it was in the middle of the resort well placed for the beach and shops. the pools were a bit small but adequate enough.

| said: Lovely hotel, Unbelievably friendly and helpful staff. Food was excellent, full marks to the chef who retires in 2 years time! Manager and staff very helpful and accomodating, (as we lost all our travel bits on the way!) A big thank you to everyone and the thomson staff who helped us on this holiday!!!!

| said: I have stayed here 3 times now and my last wasn't as good as the previous 2 times. We were placed in the Main Building which meant it was very noisy at night and difficult to get to sleep until 1:00 am.
However, apart from that our holidays spent at the Atalaya Apartments are most wonderful. The rooms are nicely presented and the Air Conditioning is just a dream as jbean said. Very Friendly staff! Another down side I now remember is the swimming pools..... the pool tiles are very rough due to age (limescally) The pools basically need maintenance.

| said: We had two wonderful weeks here, very clean apartments, the staff couldnt do enough for you. We loved it that much we aim to go again next year, anyone looking for somewhere thats not pie and chips for a meal should try jaspers, out of the apartments and turn left, next to the second hand shop, lovely meal, and for a good pint try Duffy's, left at the only set of traffic lights in Cala Millor. Pete Duffy's bar,a good family pub without the games machine's etc,try it,you'll love it.

| said: Well all I have to stay about these apartments is that they are FANTASTIC! I stay in the resort Cala Millor every year so I thought I will stay in these apartments as my accommodation and they were brill!
Our journey to these Apartments was great too with the lovely *BRITANNIA AIRWAYS* The food option Thomson gave you was excellent, the rooms were clean, and the air-conditioning was a dream! What more could you ask for, eh?
There is so much more to say about these truely wonderful apartments but you should find out yourselves by booking a stay at them. I have booked my next stay at the apartments already and I will be leaving next week!
I am so excited! By the way everyone the apartments have just been re-furbished and they look GREAT!
