This was a small clean Hotel.
There appears to be one energetic woman running the place, with an Alsation guard dog. The pool isn't used a lot at present - we only swimmed omce in it - and the drinks were brought to the poolside4 for us. My wife and I were the only people present - it's not a busy area - well away from the crowds.
The manageress is an excellent cook and looked after us. Breakfast was buffet style and there was a good choice - scrambled eggs on toast and jam on toast were the nearest to English.Lunch was buffet to begin with and once or twice waitress service. The food was varied and to a high standard.
Location could be a problem for some. We were taxied to the beach ( 15 min by car)10 am and brought home free of charge at 4am every day.
There is a bus stop on the main road which is downhill. We got to Varna and Golden sands for about 30p return each. The hill is steep for old people but ok if your healthy and made from smooth tarmac. A man was collecting the litter there at the end of our holiday.
The manageress doesn't speak much English but is helpful - we got by with sign language. She is alone at present but would probably get help if she got busier. she does the room service - you leave a sign on your door handle if you want it.
There obviously isn't any entertainment - but each room has a colour TV. Be careful when changing channels if you are offended by certain things!
We would visit this hotel again and are considering - but we expect things will have moved on by then. There are more expensive Hotels closer to the beach.

Very nice staff, helpful and if you have any problems they will help you out as far as they can. Manageress speaks very good English and looked after her guests.
Although we went for half board the food was very mixed either not of my taste or not enough of it, breakfast was a mix of fuit and cooked, filled you up for the day. First sitting was best after 9am and you had a long wait. Toast was a problem waiting up to 20minutes to get the toast was encouunted.
They was a free bus to the beach area which we used on several days. But always got a taxi back.
Taxi rides was an experience, always get a price before getting in.
Rooms were very clean but basic, once you had a quite polite word with cleaner and gave 10lev tip (£2)for the week you had toilet roll and clean towels very day.
The hotel pool could of been cleaner.
The hotel is for people who want a quite relaxing holiday with no night life or hassel at night. But if you wish to go out its cheap to go to the larger town of Varda.
Must remmember you are a visitor to Bulgaria and not to expect most moden facilities think of Spain in the 70s.

I have already compiled a web page dedicated to this hotel. Please visit http://preslav4.tripod.com
conclusion= A poorly run hotel in a bad location staffed by some nice people. A possible risk of death from falling masonry.
