| said: we arrived at the appartments in the middle of the nite and shown to our room by the rep as there is no reception area in the appartments.on enterin the room we were greeted with a very strong smell of excrement and we soon discovered that the toilet regurgetates! the bathroom had not been cleaned, there was still used soap from the previous residents and soap scum round the taps and shower, it remained that way for the rest of the holiday. the bed was broken and there was dried blood on one of the sheets. we only say the owner once and there was no one else around to ask if there was a problem. there was no air con in the rooms but we were able to hire a fan for 15 euros a week.the apartment was livable for the week that we were there but i would not stay there again.

| said: I have just arrived back from a weeks stay at Evgenia Studios. I found the rooms to be basic but clean and comfortable. The style of the rooms are quite out-dated but they have all the essentials needed for our stay. The main problem we had with the rooms was that they were very hot as the night temperature stayed in the late 20's. We were able to rent a fan from the cleaners for 15 Euros for the week but the 1st broke down during the night! But the cleaners and the owner of the complex were very friendly and always sorted out our problems very quickly. The last day we had to check out of our rooms by 11am even though our transfer to the airport was not until 2am so the owner arranged for us to stay at another complex for 30 Euros until 2am!

| said: Had an absolutely brilliant time at Evgenia.
Excellent location, just far enough away from the centre not to be bothered by the noise. Location to Kool Pool was very good- 10 metres across the road. We had the largest balcony which was a great bonus!
Maid service was excellent- they never woke you up, they always waited until you had left the apartment.
The departure time was very late the following day and the rooms were able to be booked later so that we weren't homeless.
Brilliant holiday overall!

| said: My wife and myself stayed at the Egvenia apts in kardamena Kos. We had booked for a fortnight, but because of the noise inside the apartments, from the KoolPool opposite, and from the apartments opposite, we just had to move out. The apartments themselves were very basic, not very clean and were no place for a couple aged 60. We did complain to the rep. but not a lot happened and she said that she was unable to move us because all there other hotels were full. We did move(at our own expense) and had a very enjoyable second week somewhere else. The noise was so bad that we couldn't sit on our balcony at all,day or night. Sleep was almost impossible and our first week was a nightmare. If you want to enjoy your holiday: do not stay here!. We will never again return to this place.

| said: Based on two room accommodation inc kitchen area, very very basic accommodation. The kitchen consistent of sink, fridge, small two ring counter top cooker (1 very small ring, 1 medium ring.) 3 knives, forks & spoons all very used and mismatched. 3 plates, 1 bowl, 3 mugs again all mismatched. 1 rusty can opener and a couple of pans. There was no real way to cook a meal with such meager utensils.
The bathroom was very dirty and you where greeted by cockroaches every morning coming up through the drain in the shower.
This accommodation is only suitable for two persons as the third bed, which is in the kitchen, area is a wooden bench with almost a camping mat as a mattress.
All linen and towels are well worn and again mismatched.
If you are looking for a quite relaxing holiday, this is not the place for you. Situated next to the kool pool with very loud music from approx 9am - midnight almost every night and the Starlight club open till 4am each day. There is no noise from the club however due to its location you do get a lot of very drunk people passing the accommodation to get to the club late at night.
Late night awakenings are almost guaranteed with young guests returning late and limited if no sound proofing.
The staff, if challenged, about the cleanliness will give you a very frosty response.

| said: Evgenia is exactly what you expect in Greece, basic apartment accomodation. As with most apartments in Greece it doesn't have its own pool but directly opposite is Kool Pool - open to everyone and probably one the best pools in Kardamena, good music, food and friendly owners. The accomodation was ok in terms of cleanliness. The location was excellent, a couple of minutes stroll to the main harbour, bars and restaurants but far enough away not to be directly on top of the nightlife - you can sleep at night. We also found the accomodation quite quiet at night too which was a bonus. The main downside is that there is no shop on your doorstep.
