We had a wonderful holiday staying at the Ponenet Mar - It was peaceful, clean and spacious (1 bed apart)- the studios were half the size and e got put into one on arrival but we had paid for 1 bed apart and this was quickly rectified for us.
The pool area is spacious and clean, towels are not put out at stupid o clock in the morning so there are always beds - I was amazed and very pleased! It's a short walk downhill to the beach and far enough out not hear a thing at night which suited me fine!
I really loved this place and thought it was superb. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved the Ponent Mar! Our room had a spectacular view from it's terrace. We could gaze at the sea and the coming and going of fabulous craft without any interruption from buildings or people, it was as if we were on our own, so quiet and peaceful.
The staff could not have been more friendly and the aqua aerobics was great fun.
The food was very good, adults and kids had plenty to choose from. The champagne cocktails are wicked - be careful!
There was no squabbling over beds around the lovely pool.
When we did venture out the beach was a short walk away down hill and likewise the nightlife of Palma Nova.
I am in the process of booking again for 2006, this is the first time we have returned to a hotel two years in a row which says it all really!

We tried to find this hotel and apartment complex in a brochure but couldn’t? Then we came across it on the www.prestontravelcentre.co.uk web site. They are the only ones in the uk that have rooms there I believe. Anyhow it was absolutely fantastic.
Rooms were brill with air con and most have lovely sea and pool views.
The pool area is under used (or at least it was when we went) and sunbeds were plentiful. It’s sited on a headland so you get a fantastic breeze all through the day which helps keep you cool.
The meals were fabulous too. Plenty of choice and not expensive at all. It was buffet mainly so you could have what you wanted. Great if you have fussy kids!
Staff spoke very good English and were very helpful.
It seems to be a family run hotel so they are all very friendly.
It’s a couple of mins away from the beach. It’s not too good for wheelchair access though as it’s on a slight incline/hill.
