| said: On arrival our passports were taken? Help with our luggage (after a long day travelling)was not offered or given. Room small and dated. to get sheets changed after three days had to complain to get them changed.
Food at bar area next to pool was good but same as most of all the other bars we went to, only diffrence being it was more expensive.entertainment was ok but bland they did there best. Waiters sometimes over zealous but helpful and entertaining.very clean pool and drinks always on offer.
Kids paradise and a lot of tears on departure. Yes i would go again. Out of ten - eight. Thanks go to suann, micky, jimmy,james,and most of all co co. They were brilliant.Hopefully see them next year.

| said: We arrived her ofr a 2 week lazy holiday which is what we got. The staff fell over themselves to help making it a very delightful time. Our room was spotlessly clean with clean linen every 2 days which was displayed beautifuly with petals laid on the bed.
Although we didnt take part in the entertainment we really enjoyed it.

| said: Well we've been back for a week and we have never looked forward to coming home from a holiday as much as we did from this one!!
We found that when we walked into the bar area we was looked up and down, by the other English people there at first we thought it was just us being paranoid but as the days went on still no one spoke to us even though we tried to speak to ome of the people.
We also found that the staff in the bar to be annoying, they would run around your table while you were trying to eat and be spitting napkins through straws at each other, we very rarely spent much time at the hotel. We went round the pool in the day once as we were made to feel uncomfortable.
We spoke to our rep on the first day to complain about our room which was what can only be descrided as the dungeon, we had to go downstairs from the loby to get to our room . We arrived on the Tuesday and she told us that the earliest we could move would be Friday and she would contact us, she never did and as we spent most of our time away from the hotel we never saw her.
The lad on reception was nothing but rude and unhelpful from the moment we arrived.
i would suggest to people not to buy anything from the hotel shop at at time it can be x3 the price what you would pay round the corner!
I would not recomend this hotel to couples, it's mainly aimed at families, but the entertainment that they have at night is repetative and some parts is not suitable for kids i found.
But appart from all that it was very clean and the cleaners did their best and always seemed happy to help!

| said: Its was great - We really enjoyed our hol. The apts were very clean. Although we were self catering we did eat in the bar once or twice - it was great (bit more expensive that outwith apts), the location was great, it wasfar enough away from the biz to enable us to sleep in peace at night but there is buses that run every 10 mins from outside the apts which cost 1 YTL (40p)each that take to to the centre in 7 mins. Staff were very welcoming too (they did hassle us a few times to eat in the bar but once you said no they were fine). There was entertainment on mostly every night but we didnt want to stay within the apts. Pool area (with flume and slide) is very clean and tidy - staff are always tidying - i recommend these apts

I really hope i visit this hotel again, but i can say it would be nothing without the people and staff that make it.

| said: This hotel is really nice and very clean, the staff are brilliant and the entertainment is fabulous day and night for both children and adults. We would all definately stay there and hopeing to do so next year. the bar and restaurant staff are great and they make you feel really welcome if you want real good fun i highly recommend club alpina, you dont even need to leave the hotel to have a good time it really is great.

| said: Our first impression was that the room was a bit drab and dark but this paled into insignificance when we went to the pool and met 'the lads'! The free airCon was desperately needed in july.
An excellent holiday was had by all and the entertainment/waiter crew cannot give you (and especially my daughters) enough attention....they were great fun! My wife thinks that they have 'too much fun'!!! The mini flumes at the pool were an added bonus. Be prepared to get involved....i was Whitney Houston for an evening and my wife belly danced on stage for the first time ever. If you insist you do not want to get on stage etc. they do leave you alone but...you're on holiday SO ENJOY!!!

| said: when we arrived at the club alpina we had every thing we requisted of thomas cook, the rooms where clean but small.
the food was lovely, i was really worried about my son as he is a fussy eater but they cater for all.
the hotel staff where fab but the staff at the pool side where fantastic they really made us feel welcome and so relaxed, the pool and slides where amazing my son spent most of his time there the staff absolutely loved him, i cant thank them enough for giveing us such an amazing holiday especially jimmy, alex, mahoney & mike.
when it was time for us to leave they all came to the bus with us to say good bye and i really did'nt want to go home i cryed like a baby be we will keep in touch, as we exchanged phone numbers and email addresses.
we really miss every one and cant wait to go back next year. love you all see you soon the cooper family....

The hotel looks lovely.
The rooms are very basic and if you were disabled or with a pushchair you would struggle. The walls are very thin and there was a lot of noise in this hotel from other guests and music really loud.
Enjoyed Turkey but will find other accommadation if we returned.

| said: We received no help when we arrived and struggled around the hotel trying to find room with two tired young children, pushchair, 4 suitcases.
We only had a hob to cook on so couldn't even cook beans on toast.
This hotel is poor and nothing like described and some of the reviews cannot be genuine. This hotel has put us off returning to Turkey.

| said: I would highly recommend this hotel to any one that wants an amazing holiday. I only went for a week but when it came to leaving I really didn't want to go.
The hotel staff were absolutely fantastic and ever so friendly especially Jimmy, Jamie, JJ, James who were the restaurant staff and Jimmy who worked in there reception.
The food at the hotel restaurant was very nice and if you are worried because you have a fussy eater then do not worry because there is something on the menu for everyone to enjoy.
The only downfall for the hotel was the person that worked in the hotel shop. either bring your own battery's or buy them from somewhere else because they do not work and the man will argue with you a lot.
The entertainment was amazing day and night with afro running it all!

| said: Arrived here on the 23rd April 2007.
Hotel is situated in the Armutalan area of Marmaris.
On arrival you leave your Passport at the reception and collect it the next day. Strangely enough no staff escorted us to our apartments (first time ever this has happened in Turkey to us) Our room 507 was situated on the top the 5th floor. On arrival accommodation is of adequate size. Nicely decorated etc etc, Please note you only get 1 Toilet roll for your complete stay at the apartments, don't worry about this as there is a shop adjacent to the reception. Prices were more expensive than any of the restaurants bars in the area.
Entertainment was good with different acts on every evening.
Towels and Linen were changed on only 1 occasion and that was after asking staff to do so. Towel rail in Bathroom fell of the wall when a towel was put on it. No chairs or Table were in the Balcony, Toilet sink had a smell in the morning when used, aAll of these were reported to staff and situation went unresolved.
If you exchange money at the reception you never ever got the full amount as they never had the change to give you. Yes they did give you the full amount the next time they seen you, But note the exchange they gave you was less than other places situated nearby.
Staff were a bit pushy when you left the Apartments enquiring why are you leaving when you can eat or drink here, We drank in a Restaurant/bar about 100 metres from the Alpina called Sunny's where we also had our meals most of the time. These guys looked after us so well nothing was any trouble for the staff they will keep the bar open 24/7 if you want them to.

| said: Stayed for 1 week and found the hotel and staff very good, the room decoration was superb, my wife says we will have to change at home (so much for the cheap holiday) We only ate at the hotel the first night and the food was good, the cleaners, security man receptionists were superb.
The poolside staff were also excellent and did anything that was asked of them, they would leave you alone if you wanted to be left alone but would jump for you if you required. The pool was clean and the slide great only problem being other guests placing towels on the sunbeds at the crack of dawn and then not appearing till midday but this is a common problem in every hotel we have stopped at. Free air conditioning is also a godsend.
A couple of very loud domestics occured through the week in the early hours screaming ang banging (I feel sorry for the staff trying to sort these problems out as they are on a hiding to nothing) this has happened now on the last 2 trips to Marmaris and really don't know sometimes how these Turkish people put up with these situations.
Anyway getting back great hotel a little way out but at the bottom of the street just jump on a number 2 bus to get down to the market / beach / supermarket at a cost of 1 lira 30p.
Would definately go again.

Rooms were fresh bright and clean.
Food available all day and night good quality, good range.
Everywhere clean and tidy.
Staff great and excelent with the kids.
Only fault I can find is the same entertainment for the second week!
Have booked again for the 13 July 07

| said: When we arrived at the hotel the staff were very helpful and polite. One of the staff members shown you to your room and helped you with your luggage which was such a relief as we had been travelling for 6 hours (4 hours on the plane and 2 on the bus to the hotel)
First impressions of the room were great it was nice and spacious plenty of space to put your empty suitcases and clothes. Clean towels had been put at the end of your bed in fan shapes (it was a shame to mess then up really lol) a cleaner came in everyday to make your bed and change the toilet rolls and just general cleaning around the apartment.
We didn't really stay in the hotel for many meals but the ones that we had were cooked lovely very nice.
We have been to this hotel 3 times and every time we have really enjoyed it.
It is situated in a nice area with plenty of bars and restaurants we always enjoyed going in uncle Sam's bar just seconds away from our hotel it was very friendly and welcoming.
Also if you want to go down to the beach or into the main town for a meal its just minutes away on the number 2 bus and its very cheap as well.
We enjoyed the holiday so much me and my partner are going back again this year on the 27th June 2007 to see if its still the same as the last time we went and I would recommend it to any one you'll have such a great time.

| said: After a four and a half hour flight, customs baggage, etc., boarded our bus for the 2 hr drive to Amutalan, Marmaris, arriving at the hotel in the early hours, a porter carried our bags from the bus to reception then to our rooms, Impressive!!!
The rooms very clean with towels shaped into swans and fans lying on the very clean beds, we had 2 rooms next to each other.
The pool and area around was very clean, the staff couldnt do enough for you, very happy smiley characters, always looking after you.
The onsite photographer took loads of photos of the family for you to buy, but very expensive,
all in all we had a terrific holiday would return again

The waiters was great made the holiday for us just amazing!!! We even brought people who we met from off our boat trip there and they loved it and were never at their own hotel (Chris an Gary)

| said: Stayed in the alpina for the 6th time and found massive changes,influencing my decision not to revisit again.Staff unhelpful.
The entertainment was the same as every other year.... very poor and sometimes unsuitable for my 6 and 8 year olds.The water slides are only turned on for 4 hours of the day.12-2 and 4 til 6 ...don't know what the children were supposed to do the other hours around the pool.
The drinks round the pool were extortionate prices.! The hotel now has a lady hairdresser plaguing the pool and bar area for the kids to have tatooes at 10 lira at a time ... and is more than a little pushy. This ruined our once relaxing holiday to one of being pushed and harrassed to having out hair done in the newly opened salon. Totally unrelaxing and was glad to get home for the first time ever.

| said: We went here in 2004 and had a brilliant time!! The rooms were immaculate!! Absolutely spotless! And they were quite a good size too.
The pool and the pool area were scrubbed and cleaned every night even the sunbeds!
The location was good and the view was great as well
The staff were brilliant! Especially little Albert who could only speak a tiny amount of English and he was so shy! But he had to go for the army *sob*. I think you need a very good sense of humour as they think it is hilarious to throw ice cold water over you when you are sunbathing!!
The entertainment was good in the day for the kids and the men. The played water polo, water volleyball, killer pool and darts! There is also two slides. The are very considerate about the noise too. The music is turned down at 11 and off at midnight so its not too late. The have a kids dance on the stage at about 9:00 and a big dance for everyone at 10:00.

| said: We have been to this hotel for the last three years and have always enjoyed our stay.
We have always been made to feel very welcome by the crazy entertainment staff and even gone clubbing with them.
The entertainment can be a bit repetative,but it is great fun, so dont bother booking because we wont be able to get booked ourselves if you do! As it is always banged out.
The food is nice and there is always something going on around the pool. The staff work very hard to entertain everybody and the owners are always on hand to help. The rooms are clean and maid service is good.

| said: We stayed for 2 weeks. We went in the last two weeks of the season. The first 2 nights the entainerment was good but then from the rest of the time here there was no entertainment at all.
We paid for a safe box which was 25 million Turkish lira but the man wanted £10 english we didn't have any English money at the time so we spoke to the rep and we paid lira.
The food was ok but the waiters just sit watching TV all the time.
The rooms was clean and spacious.
I wouldn't stay there again
