| said: The hotel was lovely. Our room was very clean and had everything we could have needed. The balcony was a very good size and had lovely views of the mountain and the rest of the resort. It is definitely worth paying a bit extra for a 1 bed apartment like we had rather than a studio as we met a couple who had a studio and it was slightly on the smaller side.
The hotel staff were all brilliant and Minty is a star. The hotel is 2 minutes from the beach, about half hour walk along the beach from the port and only a 5 minute taxi journey from the old town.
Cant wait to go back!

| said: hotel was in great location, close to restraunts shops and beach. it was a very english enviroment. the hotel itself was ok it was basic , the room service was good,clean towels etc every day , the beds were very uncomfortable but not a majot issue. The staff were great. The entertainment was ok if you like that sort of thing , it seemed to amuse alot of the guests there, who were very young families on budget holidays but all in all everyone was friendly staff and guests. It was a very cheap holiday and it was a good base for what we wanted to do for the week.

| said: Just come back from a 2 week stay at these apartment, the location is exellent, not too far away from the main strip but far enough away to be in a quiet area. The beach is fantastic and only a 5 mins walk away. The apartments were clean and spacious and not too basic and we had clean towels every time our room was cleaned which was 5 days a week. We did feel that our room could have been cleaner on arrival and there was the usual fluff under the bed which we've found in most accommodation we have stayed in!! The pool area was really nice and we could always get a sunbed at about 10 o'clock.
We did hear a few people complaining about a few things but we didn't have any complaints and we would stay there again.

| said: A top class stay at Alcudia Beach. It will rank as one of the best holiday's I've ever been on. The room was cleaned frequently and to a good standard, it was located within about 20 minutes of the port which had some great restraunts.
The standard of the room, compared with other apartments I've stayed in were excellent. Obviously not ideal, but impossible to be in appartments, but quite comfortable beds and a decent balcony.
Without doubt, the greatest thing about Alcudia Beach is the staff. The receptionist, cleaners, the bar staff, the caretakers and the cleaners were all extremely friendly (sorry if I've missed anyone out). And the entertainments staff were superb, Minty is a legend.
A great resort, will definetly like to pay another visit, I don't say that about many resorts I've stayed in in the past.
A great happy place, the staff are a real credit to the place.

The room was a good size, the bathroom could do with updating but clean.
We went down to the pool at 9am one morning, we have young children!!, and there was not one towel on a sunbed.
went out every evening so did not see any pf the entertainment.
Would go again.

| said: Arrived and apartment was dirty, broken camp bed for a 17 year old, no handles on drawers, wall socket hanging out of bathroom wall.
Staff excellent, hotel clean in its self but rooms filthy.
Thomson rep hopeless, only there 2 weeks could not find her as she was sunbathing when she should have been visible to customers.
Shower room a disgrace for size of hotel as there are public toilets next to it and only one shower for everyone to use.
No entertainment for adults at all.

Hotel reception/bar area and restaurant very good. Although not alot of people about. Rooms are small so if you have four adults it would be very crowded. Rooms are basic no luxury and beds although adequate - couldnt face sleeping on them for two weeks - i think the rooms need a major overhaul - looking a bit shabby now. Cleaned five days out of seven. Location of hotel is excellent - short walk to beach and right next to bars etc. Easy to work into the port which is very nice. The reason we wouldnt visit again is that we would want some luxury for our main holiday and it is very english - i like to sample some of the spanish atmosphere of which there was none - you could have been in England/

| said: hi me my partner and 7 year old came to alcudia for the first time the hotel was v clean but does need a referbish but nice. we didnt eat in the hotel the location was v good the beach was only 5 minutes and the town about 4 mins the staff was v friendly always said hello when you walked in we didnt stay in the hotel for the entertainment only went in for a last drink before we went for a drink on the balcony. the pool was freezing and it was v deep in the big pool be carefull because you wouldnt no it was so deep there isnt enough signs to tell you.

| said: we went to alcudia beach last year for a week and had a good time,so we were so looking forword to going again for two weeks.But sad to say the first week we could not get a sunbed around the pool as they were out with the towels at 8am,not just a few beds with towels i counted one person puting out 10 towels on the beds so no one else could have them.Then by 9am i looked out and counted 76 bed were in use with towels not people,we all look forword to our holidays so why spoile it for other people you make the germans look good.At night the noise from the spanish kids driving cars up and down outside the hotel blasting out music siting in the car park till they went to the nightclubs,then after that they were back to carry on till 5am.So if your thinking of going to this hotel good luck,i wont be goin back and some other people i talked to said the same.

| said: We stayed at this hotel 5yrs ago and loved it. The hotel itself is still lovely but does need a revamp the location is spot on with a small spar supermarket next door which was handy the bakers in ther was also very good the swimming pool was freezing and the snack bar not bad.
The entertainment if you can call it that ia absolutely diabolical minty was like something you get out of a working mans club not what i call family entertainment getting women to run around and get mens clothing and kissing them i did nt want my child watching stuff like that as for the activties around the pool he gets the kids to go around all the adults with water guns and soak them which when you are reading or listerning to music is not funny. I personally think minty has ruined the family atmostphere. We spent time down the beach which is beautiful would definetly recommend alcudia. I would go back to alcudia but not this hotel which is a shame because its a nice hotel shame its been ruined by foul mouthed kids and minty!!!

| said: Having stayed here last year and had a great time we were looking forward to another great holiday, shame it was spolit by the noisey people that were above us and to the side of us. My husband and I didn't get one full nights sleep for the entire holiday. Considering this is a family hotel, the language around the pool was awful,there was a large group of older lads playing together, I really dont want to be relaxing and hear this sort of thing on holiday!.
The hotel its self is in a great location, 5 mins walk to the beach, pool area great, we got four sunbeds together when ever we wanted to sit by the pool,but still folks were getting up as early as 8 and putting towels on the beds, then not coming down to them for a couple or more hours.
I heard a few complaints about this, and one morning Minty the hotel "entertainer" moved all the towels that were unoccupied, it was more than fun to see the people return hours later trying to find their towels!!
The snack bar food is brill, the chicken sandwich, cheese sandwich can be recommended, they are more like toasties! yum yum
The hotel staff really friendly and helpful.
Minty was great with the kids by the pool, and tabby did well with the younger kids with the disco at night, but its not what I want to see every night in a hotel, very cheesy. We thought it may have changed from last year, but it was the same old acts too, but we didn't stay in this time we knew better and saw some great acts at the near by resturants ie Luna's grill.
The hotel is looking tired in the rooms and corridors, needs re vamping, and with us finding stains on new sheets, and holes in our towels, time for them to be replaced. We had plaster falling off our wall in the living area!!
We love Alcudia its self, great beach and places to eat, shame after a great time here last year, we now will be looking for another hotel for our holidays in 2008.

| said: Rooms basic but clean, good views from the pool side apartments. Hotel staff excellent even though they have to put up with rowdy teenagers. Breakfasts all you could eat for 7 Euro was the best value for money we could find. Evenng menu was limited but well prepared and cheap for a hotel. Entertainment staff, Minty and Tic Tac were excellent. Another plus point, being a 'totally British hotel' there were a number of large groups, Welshie, Frank, Ron and Glowstick who all joined in the fun and games to make the holiday more memorable.

| said: Returned from Alcudia a week ago. We all had a fantastic time. The hotel was very clean, the rooms a bit basic but as we ate out every evening it didn’t bother us. They where cleaned daily apart from Wednesday and Sundays. We had 3 teenagers with us and they made friends with lots of others and there was plenty for them to do. The location of the apartments was great not on top of the main strip but only a few minutes away from the bars and restaurants. The beach was a stones throw away and had lovely views. The hotel entertainment was excellent and Minty and Tabby were great fun. We would all go back again and hope to do so next year.

Could not fault the hotel in any way apart from the entertainment which was limited.
It was just a short stroll to the beach and local shops.
Only fault I found was the noise from the local youngsters who used the road outside the hotel for parking and as a meeting place when returning from a disco nearby.

The rooms were immaculate and cleaned every day except Wednesday & Sunday.
Hotel staff were brilliant and friendly although Minty the hotels main entertainer was a bit to be desired even though he is a nice enough bloke!!!!
I would definatley visit here again.

| said: We stayed a fairly happy 6 nights (missed out on a night due to the awful 6 and a half hour delay from Manchester!!)
Room was ok, basic, all you need but not much to write home about! Could have done with being a bit cleaner, clumps of hair and dust found all over the place! Not ideal when you've got a 22 month old!! Air con good and tv handy of an evening. Bathroom could do with an uplift, terrible shower fitting and "interesting" stains in toilet!?! Water pressure for bath, shower and bathroom sink was really bad, but like a pressure washer in the kitchen!! Bizarre! Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from either side and even more from upstairs!! Special thanks to those who were in 408 above us for all the 'f'ing and jeffing at 1 to 2 am!! Delightful!?! Balcony doors leave much to be desired as they don't slide well and ours left a huge gap through which we got the gales which sprang up in the evenings and some noise too!!
We stayed around the pool most days and yes people still reserved sunbeds (even though there were signs saying not to!!) Pool was lovely, lower pool ideal for our 2 little ones but there could do with being a gate to stop any wandering off to the upper pool which is 7 foot deep in parts!! Play area nice but kids club a bit under staffed and not much happening! Pony rides were nice, but that was it!
Pool side snack bar alright, not much stock in as it was getting very close to end of season, should be same for all right to the end we think!! Make sure you state 'take-away' if you want to eat on your sunbeds otherwise they get a bit stroppy! Not the happiest bunch some days!!
Pool was cleaned daily but the water was blooming freezing!!!
Reception and bar areas are lovely and clean, even the lifts, it's a shame the rooms aren't kept to the same standard!
Out and about there are handy shops just 50 yards away including a Spar!! Lovely cafe bar/restaurants handy if you've got little ones. We didn't get to the beach but it's only 5-10 mins away so if we do go back we'll certainly try it out!
Being end of October a lot of places had closed and we recommend some mosquito/midge sprays/repellents!!
We would go back but possibly not same place, or different time of year!!

| said: Me and my family stayed at The Alcudia Beach for 2 weeks and thought it was excellent.
Apartments were very clean although they had a bit of an end of season look ( lick of paint needed).
It was a short walk to the water park and beach and within easy reach of a shop.
We arrived just after mid-night at the complex and had to walk the streets for some distance to get some water for a drink. One night my son was sick and the nightshift receptionist was very helpful in getting us some fresh bedding.
Kids went to the mini disco a few times and one young guy tried hard to entertiain everyone. Apartment had good views of the mountians to the rear and depending on how high you were a sea view.
We are going back this year and taking some more family with us.

Rooms cleaned all the time except Wed and Fri cleaners always cleaning.
Pool area was always spotless and enough bedsfor everyone. The 2 pools there were ideal both for young children and older children.
I would recommend this hotel to anybody as it has an excellent location to beach harbour and main strip.
The only one point I would comment on is that the hotel doesn't mind people putting out there towels early and not staying there.
Book here won't go wrong

| said: Just come back from a weeks holiday at these apartments, there was 13 of us on a family holiday and we all had a great time, the hotel its self is spotless the maids work around the clock, the food is very good too breakfast,snacks and dinner.
The location of the apartments is spot on 5 min walk to beach and 10min walk to port which there are a number of bars and restaurants which all serve lovely meals we never had one meal that we didn't enjoy.
The staff are very friendly a few speak very good english.
If you want a good night out at the apartments watch the drag queens they were fantastic the best I have ever seen we really had a good night.

Entertainment was very very good, something for everyone. Minty and Rachel were brilliant.
Location was good, 5 minutes from beach, bars, restaurants, could go to a different group of bars etc every night if you wanted to!
We will definately go back!!

| said: I went to this hotel with my partner and felt that it was going to be a fantastic deal for the money we had spent after reading all of the previous good reviews.
We were however dissapointed in the hotel as a whole because we felt that it lacked cleanliness. As soon as we enterd our room it smelt strange and did so whenever the air conditioning was put on throghout the week.
The food was awful and the families left something to be desired as they would all swear and shout at anytime, ranging from in the day around the pool (and around young children) and long into the night.
The area to the right of the hotel is like walking straight into england with the unbelievable amount of awful karaoke bars, all of the named such as 'english pub' or something similar.
But the port was nice and we took our 3 children there for meals ona regular basis so to sum up dont stay in alcudia beach but do go to alcudia port.

| said: On arriving to the hotel the staff was very helpful and approachable, also speaking very good English.
The room was adequate with enough room to move, eat, sleep and watch TV.
The hotel had a great atmosphere, with entertainment for all ages during the day in and around the pool. This included: Water Volleyball, Water-polo, Killer Pool, Killer Darts, Shooting Targets, Face Painting and T-shirt making. Also one day a week a professional Scuba Diving instructor, Steve, would come to the pool area and for a small charge would show you how to use the equipment and take you around the pool. It was so good we even went to the sea! This was fantastic!
Plus every night there was evening entertainment, again for all ages. Including:Mini discos, Karaoke, Bingo, Parrot Shows, Magicians, the legendary divas, plus much more. The hotel was a totally British hotel and atmosphere was great we met a lot of people and found it easy to interact with other families. All this hard work and great atmosphere was due to the excellent entertainment crew of the legend that is 'MINTY' and his beautiful Sidekick 'RACHET'!( We Will Miss You )

'Minty' the entertainer was great with my kids and he was very funny.

| said: Hotel staff were very friendly we found, and if you required anything were only to happy to help, the only down side of this hotel was noise from rooms next door to your own, had to complain a couple of nights, but hotel staff responded immeadiately.
I felt the kids club and entertainment could have been better run, 1 bloke called Minty ran it, don't get me wrong a very nice man, but I felt it would have been better with two people runnig it.
Location of hotel very good, 10 mins to the excellent beach, cafe's, shops, restaurants, and bars, and probably about a 15-20 min walk to the harbour area.

The hotel was clean & the staff friendly. Apartments were cleaned every day except wed & sun.
The pool area was large with plenty of sun beds. Outside bar was good service.
We only ate in the restaurant once as we found it a bit expensive, food was nice though.
It only took us approx 3/4 of an hour to get to the hotel from airport.
I can't fault the holiday only the entertainment was a bit rough.
I would give it a rating of 9/10 we have book to go back next year in May 2007 can't wait.

Location ideal for the beach and shops.Children made welcome whever we went.Childrens entertainer at the hotel very good.
Only downside was that it end of the season so a lot of restaurants were closing by the end of our week and the guys were disappointed not to get their lobster!
No hesitation in recommending these apartments-very good value for money!

| said: Just returned from a week at the Alcudia Beach Apartments and I'm pleased to report a very successful holiday.
The standard of this hotel is well above it's official three star rating. The room had TV and air conditioning, both of which worked well. The furniture was adequate, plenty of space and a reasonably well equipped kitchenette (even an electric food whisk). The apartment was kept spotlessly clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The whole facility is pleasantly decorated and well maintained.
This was a late autumn break for a lazy oldie so I didn't sample the entertainment and can't therefore comment on it. (There should be a 'don't know' rating option !)
I have no hesitation in recommending the Alcudia Beach Apartments as a base for an enjoyable "value for money" holiday.

| said: Just got back from Alcudia Beach apts, Great holiday looking forward to going back, excellent location as we wheren't close to the main stretches to get any nightime disruption, recomend geting the mountain side of the hotel as great veiws but lots of sun, I noticed the pool side was quite shady.
Staff where quite frendily and rembered us by face and always happy to help. Breakfast was also good in the hotel, more expensive than the local restrances by buffett style so saved having to have lunch, We thought that the Thomsons Tours were costly however was happy to help to let us know how to get etc, looking forward to going back again.

Lovely position to all bars restaurants and shops as there is easy walking distance but you don't get all the noise!
Lovely clean hotel friendly staff especially David the waiter.
Entertainment is reasonable poor Sandra does her best, but there are plenty of other good bars nearby which offer good child friendly entertainment. Would recommend the pirate show bit pricey but well worth it! If your taking the kids to a water park go to Magaluf as the hydro park in Alcudia isn't up to much.
All in all a great holiday can't wait to return next year!!!!

| said: As a quiet family who have visited Majorca many times we found this aparthotel particularly suited us.
There were ample sunbeds for the family at any time of the day; there was no rush to get down to the pool and this was very relaxing and refreshing as at other places we have had to queue for sunbeds!
The room was spacious and beautifully clean. The pool area and pool were cleaned everyday and the surrounding area was attractive. The golden sands stretched for miles and were only a short and pretty stroll from the apartments.
On the one occasion we ate breakfast at the restaurant we were very imrpessed by the lovely surroundings and fresh food. There was plenty of choice. The pool bar was convenient and well stocked.
The staff were pleasant and efficient.

| said: Been back from this hotel for 5 days now and I think we would all really like to be back there. We had a great time.
Our apartment was very clean apart from the fact I had to give the fridge a bit of a wipe over but nothing major. Maids came every day apart from Wednesday and Sunday and each time they did come they made beds, cleaned the floors and changed our towels.
The apartment equipment was ok and even had a toaster and a microwave!
We spent pretty much every day by the pool and it was really nice, clean and very pleasant. Plenty of sunbeds too.
We didn't stay at the hotel in the evenings for the entertainment so cant really comment on that but there definitely seemed to be something most evenings.
Would highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back!!

| said: The Alcudia Beach was fantastic for families. Accomodation is basic but comfortable enough and the air conditioning is brilliant in both own rooms and public areas. The entertainment girls (Sandra & Marta) were excellent. Marta was great with kids - managed to get our 10 yr old daughter want to get up each morning for the "Club" which is no mean feat!! Evening entertainment consisted of Mini Disco for younger kids at 9pm followed by more family oriented show at 10pm. Some nights they had professional shows and others nights it was just the 2 girls but we enjoyed every one . Must also mention David the Spanish waiter who was great fun and always cheery - you must ask him to dance!!
We particularly liked fact that the complex is not massive just big enough with cleanest pool area we've ever seen - even saw a member of staff picking up leaves by hand one day! All in all a very safe environment for children to wander around both day and night and we were lucky to meet a great bunch of people whilst we were there. A really relaxing holiday and highly recommend the Alcudia Beach. Enjoy!!

| said: We stayed in the studios in this hotel. I advise you if you are doing the same to upgrade to the apts. our studio was the filthiest studio I have ever stayed in. I have stayed in various club 18-30 accommodations before and all have been cleaner and in a better state of repair than the one we stayed in.
The reception staff couldn’t care less, were surly and treated us with contempt. We tried to move but being school holidays everywhere was booked. Apartments by the way were supposed to be fantastic!!
Hotel itself was ok not a bad bar area, entertainers tried hard, but in all honesty were poor. Location good, not too far from it all.
However this holiday cost us £1300 for one weeks stay, and I implore you to try and change your room if staying in a studio, as the accommodation is not worthy of such a price. If we return to these studios it will be with a bucket and mop!!

The Alcudia Beach Hotel is a nice clean and well positioned (within the resort)as you are only 200m from the beach and 50 m from 2 supermarkets. A 5min walk takes you right into the centre of Alcudia where I would recommend the Peach Pit for eating as the Hotel although good is a bit pricey.
The staff were ok although I thought at times they were a bit surly. The rep was useless, but this didnt distract from the fact that this is a nice Hotel with good facilities and a nice pool.
One word of warning if you have night time flights a late checkout should be booked when you book the holiday ,we couldn`t get one and it threatened to spoil our last day...so a big thanks to Jo ,Dave n Elle from London for letting us use they`re shower, you were lifesavers.

| said: Arrived on the 2/10/04. Staff in reception very friendly. Safety deposit box cheap enough. Got to the Studio room and thought oh dear [but a lot less nicer]. 2 sofa beds made from what seemed to be pallets. Wooden sideboard with knobs missing. Dried in blood down the front of the toilet. Sand, hair and food crumbs on the floor.
Complained and was told it would be sorted. Came back from supermarket, only to find it hadn’t. So cleaned it ourselves. This seemed to be the norm. Apart from changing sheets and towels, and running a mop over the centre of the floor. The cleaning staff seemed to do nothing at all apart from shout to each other from different room.
Vending machine on ground floor had sweets/crisps etc. That were all well passed there sell by date. When people complained about it the manager always said the machine rep was coming. Entertainment was a joke. 2200 start and consisted of Bingo, quiz night, Karaoke! Bar prices were extortionate as well. E4.30 for a pint and a half pint of san Miguel. No we definitely won’t be re-visiting this dump again.

| said: This was the first time that we have visited the Alcudia Beach, and we were very impressed, the Hotel was clean, and the hotel reception staff were very friendly.
This was the first time we have taken our baby daughter away with us and the rooms were spaciuos enough for the 3 of us, we had a poolside view(which I would recommend).
We never had to get out of bed early to get a sunbed as there was always plenty to go around, the 2 pools were clean and the lower pool was particulary safe for our daughter to play in.
We Enjoyed having a drink at the hotel every night, a bit pricey but heh! We are on holiday, the entertainment was ok, it was good for the children as they alaways started with a mini disco, this way we were able to unwind and chill out.
Overall hotel in good loacation, clean very friedly and wev' booked for the same place next year, I can recommend it!

| said: We just got back from a 2 week stay at this perfectly clean Apart Hotel - We can't praise the chambermaids enough they always had a warm smile for us even when we tried to speak to them in Spanish and got it all wrong - The Male Hotel manager is a complete waste of space and should be made to serve in the Bar and give someone else his position and he doesn't know what the hell is going on - The hotel Entertainment is a bit of a joke and needs a re vamp - Bar snacks at the hotel were OK if not a bit expensive - The Pool is lovely if not one of the best in the area with plenty of sunbeds to go round bearing in mind that we went in september - the hotel has a great recycling policy with loads of differant coloured bins at the end of each corridor to sort out your rubbish - brilliant views of the mountains from our Balcony to enjoy but we did have a front facing room and had the sun on it all day long :oD....
We only need to tell you about one cafe Bar to visit and that is TROTAMUNDOS .....Super Food and drinks and FABULOUS SERVICE WITH A SMILE AND A CHAT.... and Catia the owner even has time to teach you a little Spanish along the way.....TROTAMUNDOS can be found at ....AV. MEXICO. 14. PTO. DE ALUDIA...
and it's dead opposite the reception area of the Astoria playa hotel.....

Evening Entertainment left a little to be desired (but as I am a D.J I may have been to fussy,the D.J there needed a bit of a boost,very slow didn't seem to be able to get things going and keep it going).
Pool was fantastic (even though a little on the cold side)bathing area kept very clean.Bar staff not very cheerful,Reception staff ever so helpful nothing was too much trouble.
In general I was highly satisfied with the overall package I received. Would happily stay again....But please liven the entertainments hostess up a bit,I fell asleep during her bingo game.

| said: hotel in good location to walk to town and the port.swimming pool area clean. staff were freindly and service was good.did not spend evenings in hotel,so not to sure on entertainment.we stayed in a studio which was a bit dirty, not to sure what cleaners done every day.the room was very tatty( shower head comming off wall,furniture broken etc).studio's at both ends of hotel,with a fire escape next to balconey,which you can get to very easily,as we found out. had cloths stolen off both balconey's on second night.also concerned about security on patio door..... told hotel staff, also told rep, she filled in forms etc,but that was it.It was still a good holiday and would go back if rooms were refitted.

The boys that go there are quite an eyeful.(a.n.a, you know who you are) There is always a kids disco on at 9, which is enjoyable. (cha cha slide) The arcade games and pool tables are in good condition also, you can play ping pong out by the pool.(larry)

| said: we stayed in the Alcudia Beach Apartments, it was one of the most enjoyable and relaxed holidays that i have ever had, the whole family loved it. the staff were excellent, in our apartment we had a white patch on are wall of about 7cm in length and depth, and one of their cleaners were sent up with a small bucket of paint and it was dealt with within 5 mins.the entertainment was amazing from clowns for the kids to jazz bands.(which you couldn't hear if you wanted a good nights sleep.)the location was also good with alot to do apart from going down the beach. the pool was of a decent size and the atmosphere was always peaceful, i would definatly go here again. 10 out of 10!

| said: there is a fantastic restaurant by the resort, easy to find, called cheers, next to it is a restaurant called the peach pit, cheers is way better you have to go there! also if you dont mind walking, there is a really good place called the jolly roger, it is great for kids and the food is also fantastic! alcudia beach hotel is also very good, the maid service is only 4 times a week though, could be better. the breakfast is FANTASTIC there, all you can eat breakfast for just E6 the waiters in the bar are funny and the resort is very good. the receptionist only speaks spanish if you get a night flight though. enjoy the hotel!

| said: My first holiday with my boyfriend we went with his sister and her hubby, the best holiday of my life.
Staff were fantastic. There was an English doctor available good if you have children.
The room was very clean maids very quiet.
The location is fantastic five mins from beach good pubs lots of good places to eat enterainment not up to much but would be good for familys.
Would go back tomorrow but do bewere of the pool ice cold got in once like a visit to your local beach in the middle of winter.
If you go you must go to the stagger inn pub with or wihtout kids laughted all night or walk in to the old town about ten mins walk lovely lots of bars and places to eat.

| said: This was the first time i have ever been abroad and i really wanted to go here.I met the staff which me and my brothers talked to every night.They were so kind and helpful.The pool was wonderful.There was alot of shops with gifts to take home and restaurants.But there was also a restarunt in the apartment which we daily went in.The beach was a 2minute walk,also there was a waterpark called'HydroWater Park' which was amazing.Also we went to see the most popular show there...pirates.It was a brill time.That wopuld have to be the best thing about alcudia.I recommend this apartment to everyone.I loved it and i would definitely go again as a child or adult.Everything was just perfectly spot on right!!!!!!!!!!

| said: Just returned from these apartments. Slightly disappointed in actually apartments need a little bit of refurbishment and could be a bit cleaner. Pool area lovely but you need to reserve sun loungers by about 8 am most mornings and there were no Germans to blame for this! Restaurant great for buffet breakfast 5 Euros for adults. Entertainment standard mini disco, quizzes etc. Great location easy reach of shops, restaurants, beach, waterpark. All in all excellent holiday.

| said: Came back from Alcudia Beach on the 7th September. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in... we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. the food was lovely, staff very friendly... especially Victor the receptionist! Beware though, dont even attempt to get a sun bed at the pool after 10.30am!!! We went to the beach every day, which incidentally, is a 2 minute walk... excellent beach! Would definitely go back again..... Mands

| said: Have to agree with you there Mands. We got back on 9th Sept and had a wonderful 10 days. We booked with Portland Direct and we didn't know what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised when we got to hotel and saw our room. great value for money (£600 for two flying from Gatwick). Sunlounger problem with towels did exist and bearing in mind that the hotel apparently accommodated only Irish and British patrons then we can't blame it on the Germans. Anyway who wants to stay by the pool when there is an absolutely fantastic beach just across the road!!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and Alcudia is the best place that we have been to in Majorca.
We tried to book the same hotel with Portland Direct for summer 2003 and they have taken it out of their brochure!!???
Oh well, I will have to try to book direct with hotel.

| said: Having just returned from the Alcudia Beach Apts.,I had to tell everyone who intends to go to Majorca to head for these Apartments.It is everything the brochure says and more.Do not be fooled by the 3star rating,we would give it at least 4.We have stayed in most areas on the beautiful island over the years mainly in half board but this one tops the lot.

| said: Best aparthotel we've ever stayed at and will definitely be back. The staff are all so helpful, friendly and always smartly dressed. The entertainment team keep the kids and adults amused. I would recommend it to anyone.
