| said: We've just returned from a weeks holiday at the Athina...myself and my 2 daughters aged 17 and 15. The hotel is lovely and I'd definately return. Our room was very clean and spacious as was the bathroom and there was a well equipped kitchenette (not that we used this much as we ate out all the time!). The room was cleaned every day and we had fresh towels. All the hotel staff were wonderful...from the cleaners to the head barman! The bar is extremely well run...it serves every drink imaginable aswell as snacks and ice-cream and the prices are really good.The hotel is centrally located with bars, tavernas and supermarkets all on the doorstep. There is some noise at night...untill the early hours infact but this didn't bother us.I'd say the hotel is more aimed at adults and teenagers. The pool isn't very big but it serves it's purpose and there are plenty of sunbeds.There are pool tables, internet access and computer games just off the bar area.There isn't any entertainment as such... once a week.there was a kareoke show when we stayed and it was really good fun! If I ever return to Rhodes town I'd definately stay at the Athina again! : - )
