We stayed at the Club Perla apartments in a one bedroom apartment. Bathroom good with a shower cabinet, plenty of hot water, small block of soap provided in shower, and liquid soap at wash-hand basin. Fridge, small two-ring gas cooker & sink in lounge.

Could do with a light over the kitchen area, a plug for the sink & a dish-drainer. Tea-towel not provided. TV in lounge, and good double sofa-bed. 2 large balconies, one with table and 4 chairs, the other with a clothes drier & plenty of pegs.

Window in bedroom has mosquito netting. Double bed in bedroom very comfortable. Curtained-off end of lounge as wardrobe, with some coat-hangers, but you still need to bring your own. (There are never enough coat-hangers!) Bedside tables in bedroom have a very small drawer each, but there are no other drawers- not really anywhere to put underwear, socks, etc. two shelves in wardrobe and a safe: £10 deposit gets you a key for it.

Rubbish bin in lounge & toilet-paper bin in bathroom emptied daily, but they don’t have lids- I personally would prefer that they did. We arrived on Monday evening at about 7.30p.m.

A welcome pack was there: hard-boiled eggs, fresh slices of bread, honey, marmalade, a carton of milk, sachets of tea & coffee. This was courtesy of Club Perla – we hadn’t ordered a welcome pack. What a nice surprise it was. Very friendly & helpful bar staff. Plenty of cutlery, crockery, etc.

Not suitable for people with mobility problems, as it is up a hill and there are lots of steps. Situated on the outskirts of Turgutreis: about a 25 minute walk from the town centre, but there are plenty of buses (dolmus) which will stop wherever you hail them.

We would be happy to stay there again.

Just browsing past hotel reviews when I stumbled across this, the visit above was our second, the first vist was in August 2004 with the children and the second as stated.

Mehmet runs a superb hotel in Turgutreis, if your looking for a relaxing holiday away from hustle and bustle, then this is the place, if you want noise etc then jump on the Dolmus to the town centre, many excellant restaurants can be found. If it's noise your after then view the Mandalinci (Blackpool on sea).

Anyway this hotel was that good we returned, shame on First Choice though, they have dropped it from their brochure this year (in favour of the Mandalinci!!), if your interested in this hotel e-mail Mehmet directly.

I will re-visit this hotel again, you will not witness a better sunset on the planet, superb views.

See you soon Mehmet

Mahmmet and his wife and family can be very proud of the Club Perla.
We arrived at nearly 5am in the morning, very tired, and was met by the security man and then Mahmmet who took all our luggage and helped us to our room.
The two weeks we spent there was the best time we have ever had in Turkey, and we have been going to different resorts for six years.
The rooms were spotless, the pool was so clean, each morning you were met by the staff always with a smile.Nothing was to much trouble for any of them.
This hotel I would rate 10/10.
We have been looking for a little piece of heaven and we certainly found it in this hotel.
The alterations we have been told they are going to do will certainly be helpful to the holiday makers.

We made friends with so many there that we are all going back again next year.
The apartments we saw were fantastic,so clean and airy.
The views spectacular, the location however is a little on the hilly side, especailly if you have difficulty walking.
However the bus runs from there so often that there is no problem.
The turkish people are so friendly,we even had a gentleman stop and pick us up and take us into town, and would accept nothing for his troubles.
Silly! I here some of you say, not a bit of it,they would'nt do it if there was any danger to the tourists. We trust them anyway.

Both my husband and I urge any of you looking for a relaxing, friendly hotel with staff who cannot do enough for you to try this hotel. You will not be dissapointed.
We are in our sixties and found the pool always accesable, not to many around it,and Ali and Farhat always at your disposal.

The rep we had was always there whenever she was spposed to be, and we all found her charming. She helped promote that hotel without having to push it.
The last word goes to Mahmmet, his wife and his staff,
thank you for everything, you deserve all the luck in the world and we all hope you get it.
Thank you..

Club Perla is highly recommended for those looking for a relaxing holiday.

The Staff (especially the Barman, Ali) are all very very friendly and helpful. The Man and Wife and their little boy (Oodaiy?) who cleaned the rooms even gave us a run home from town one evening!

The Rooms were extremely tidy and kept clean and refreshed on a daily basis. We arrived around 4am and got our cases delivered to the room and drinks delivered with no problems for such an early arrival.

Pool area is cleaned daily.

Only minus points are location (Although Dolmus is only 1 mil lira each to Turgutreis), lack of evening entertainment (1 Barbecue per week offered @ £9 pp), lack of beds if all rooms full (Some beds are in a spot where the sun would not frequent)

Building works and guard dogs during the night keep you awake.

All in all an excellent well run complex.

Well done Memhet and Staff (Ali, Gunhan etc)

Bed and breakfast were excellant with staff that could not do enough for you.
On arrival bags were carried to the rooms, which were immaculate. The location is out of the town but a regular (and I mean regular)bus service costing 40 pence was always there.
The hotel staff were always obliging and nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
I suppose if I had a complaint about Perla it would be the lack of entertainment.I assume as this is a fairly new complex this will improve with time.
I will be going there again so I will keep you posted.
