| said: centrally located apartments - good for access to the beach and local bars
The only real downside is the pool area - they seem to have an average of about 1.2 beds per apartment by the pool and when there are sometimes 4 people to an apartment it doesnt work - people getting up at 5am to bag a sun bed,etc - all a bit silly, but if you dont want to have to go to the beach thats your only choice - and according to the staff they are fully booked through the season - good luck to all the families trying to bag a bed in July/August !!!

| said: We have stayed in Icmeler 6 times and twice at these apartments. We have just come back from a week at the Mitos and would definitely recommend them.
The rooms themselves are quite basic and a little tired but very clean. The apartment are big enough for the 2 of us but if we had children with us it might have been a bit of a squeeze!
The bar area is very eyecatching, with it's soft lighting, multi coloured floor cushions and big comfy furnishings.
The staff are all helpful, friendly and full of fun. We were so pleased to see them all again as quite often we find when returning to apartments, hotels or bars the staff change from year to year.
The Mitos is very central and in an ideal position right on the Canal and close to the beach. It's surrounded by all the bars and restaurants you could wish for.
We will definitely be going back!!

| said: This is now our second stay at these apartments and once again we had a great time here. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything you require for a self catering holiday. The staff Antonio, Serdar & Dave were all friendly and enjoyed a laugh with the guests. The BBQ held at the apartments was also a good night - and if you have someone in the party who doesn't like BBQ you can let them know and they can choose something from the menu instead.
We ate at the apartments a few times and have to say the food was excellent and prices just as good as anywhere else in resort.
Bar area is great so comfy with all them cushions to lie on just what you need at the end of the day.
Infact so good have booked our 3rd visit for same time next year!

| said: This was our second visit to these apartments and yet again we had a wonderful time the apartments are clean with a lovely pool area in which our six year old learnt to swim. the bar area was comfortable and the food was fantastic. The staff were freindly but not in your face they did their job well and were there if you needed anything. The apartments are suprisingly quiet given their location. We met Gordon and his wife and Brian and Daz and had some great laughs. We are already booked for the 15th of August next year and cannot wait!.

| said: It was our first time in Turkey n im looking to be going back next year!The staff were very friendly,sd n dave n antonio mad our hols very special.we met so many nice people from liverpool..I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is thinging about going to turkey.there is lots of night life for young and old but the pubs stop music at 12 but then you can go to the clubs.

| said: This was our first time in Turkey and the Mitos was the place to go it was clean and friendly the staff were fantastic Serdar, Antonio and Dave were full of fun and very helpful they are great with the kids. because it is a small apartment block you get to know the other guests very well and have a few drinks at the lovely bar area when it gets to hot at the pool.
It is only a short walk away from the beach and the centre of the town.

| said: We have just come back from spending two weeks at the Mitos apartments pronounced Metos. It was our first visit to Turkey.
The apartments are small enough for two or 3 people 4 if you have two children. The staff are exceptional especially Antonio and Serdai at the bar. Antonio usually ends up been thrown in the pool at least once a week as likes to help everyone have a good time at the pool.
Plenty of entertainment around the apartments as must do is the BBQ they do every week its well worth the money, and very well organised. myself and my husband have said we would definitely go back there again.

| said: Me and my mum went to the Mitos self catering for 2 weeks and had an absolutely fantastic time. The rooms were cleaned daily apart from a Sunday. The area round the pool was also cleaned on a daily basis and the bar/seating area was the same.
The Mitos were a 2 minute walk to the beach and you have the bars and restaurants on your doorstep and further afield, the location was definately a bonus with this excellent accomodation.
The staff were friendly and helpful and if we ever had a problem it was sorted out right away. We couldn't fault the staff at all.
The only reason the entertainment wasn't any higher as there wasn't really any apart from what the staff were getting up to.
Also at the accomodation the food was also really nice and also very reasonably priced and in comparasion the the restaurants etc round about they were approximately the same price.
Needless to say we will be going back to this accomodation next year!

| said: The mitos is a superb hotel, big enough to give you your own space but small enough that you got to meet the other holiday makers. the staff were excellent and knew everyone by name, they even took it upon themselves to go to the shop to get things for the guests. (really cannot praise them enough!!)
Although the menu was very limited we had no complaints with the food on offer and looking around the resort there was not a great deal of difference in any of the menus.
Although the music stopped at 12 the bar was still open, and all the other bars music also stopped around the same time.
The hotel put on a Turkish night with traditional Turkish folk dancers and a belly dancer and another nights entertainment including magician and escapologists both of which were free of charge.
The only problem we had with our holiday was with the goldtrail rep who we only saw once for ten minutes!

The location of the hotel was perfect! right by the beach!
The pool was good as everyone joind in and had a laugh!
Couldn't ask for better bar staff, they were just fantastic!
Friendly and made you feel very welcome! When were were there it was my daughters birthday and they did a lovely surprise bought a cake out and sang without anyone knowing. It was jus right!! Thank you Mitos!!

Hotel food was very poor not much choice.
Hotel location was good for beach but no much else.
Hotel staff were far too personal making rude and derogatory comments regarding females, very touchy feely and repeatedly helping themselvess to our cigarettes and even food.
Entertainment was very poor also you go on holiday to have fun not music turned off at midnight with nothing else to offer.
I would certainly not return to this hotel again, was solely disappointed.

| said: We are a couple in our 50’s fromNorthampton and travel 7 times a year. Mitos apartments Icmeler (pronounced ‘Ishmileer’) booked with Direct Holidays 4 weeks prior @ £139 ea.+fuel surcharge. Arrived on 14 October for 1 week.
Having scoured the Internet for 20 hotels ( other good ones were the Price, Devamli, Monamar Babadon) we decided on this one for position and price. It could not have been more central, on the ‘Venice canal’ in the middle of Icmeler and 50 metres to beach.
To say that the Mitos is compact is true, more like cramped for space. There is only ROOM for 18 sunbeds around the small pool. Some days we didn’t get a sunbed-but hey, with the beach so near, and sunbeds only a £1 all day, who cares.
The 1 bed apartments were clad in Marble and seemed a little dark at first ( our 2 rooms were ground floor near a tree), but were very clean and comfortable-cooking facilities were limited, but again, a full English breakfast was only a £1. So we had cereal one day, then a breakfast out another. There is a bar by the pool open from 8am-midnight-which was always empty-too cold to sit outside.
You will hear some noise from local bars but it all stops at midnight.

| said: This was the first time we'd stayed in apartments normally stay in hotels and I must admit I really enjoyed having the extra room I would say though that there was room enough for 2 but if 3 were sharing it would be a bit cramped only had one small wardrobe.
The Mitos was basic, clean and very central for everything in Icmeler with a lovely bar playing background music where you could have chat and chill
The pool had the normal problem people putting their towels on sunbeds and leaving them all day without using them,this seems to be the norm everywhere nowadays.
Staff were friendly and the maid was great she left our room until last, she knew we did'nt get up till nearer lunchtime.
I did hear people complaining about only receiving one toilet roll during their stay but it is booked on a "self-catering" holiday basis.

| said: Stayed at the Mitos in September 2004. The rooms are quite basic but very clean. The pool area and gardens are very well maintained and the bar area is really impressive and provides a relaxed atmosphere. Snacks are available throughout the day. The menu is varied with a good choice, all the food is well presented and quite tasty.
Entertainment is not provided at this complex, but I felt this was not necessary as the bar area was an excellent place to chill out in the evenings.
As the complex is only small with 18 apartments in total, there is a really friendly atmosphere and you get to know most of the other guests.
The staff were really hard working and had excellent personalities, the made our holiday for us, we had a great laugh with them.
The location of the complex is superb, it is central to everything, the beach is a 2 min walk and the resort centre is less than 5 min away. The complex overlooks a pretty canal lined with a mixture restaurants and bars. This area is pedestrianised so there is no traffic noise at all.

| said: We booked to stay in the Mirage apartments,after a fantastic 1st visit to Icmeler last year. Unfortunately direct hols switched us to the Mitos apartments, with only 8 weeks to go.
To be honest they wer'nt to bad, rather good really if you are a family of 3 or 4,just unsuitable for our party of 16. Theres only 18 rooms, but only 18 sunbeds, after a bit of moaning another 4 beds were brought in, still not enough. When we had a day by the pool, we took over the hole pool area, which was unfair on the other residents.
The cleaner was very good, changing towells every day & bedding every 3 or 4 days. The pool & pool area was very clean. We expected to pay for the a/c, but were told it was free.
We were told that the coach would pick us up at any time between 9:45am - 10:15am for our transfer to the airport, so we all got up at 8am to have a breakie at our favourite bar, returning at 9:10am. The staff told us our coach had been & gone, after a couple of phone calls our coach returned at 10:15am.
Anyway we had a great time in Icmeler & will return again next year, but not to the Mitos & never again with direct hols. I don't want to put familys off staying at the Mitos, its just not suitable for large partys.

The first time we stayed at Mirage which was ok but not a patch on Mitos for friendliness. The staff were brilliant the cleaner was in every day.
Apartments basic but very clean. 18 apartments in all but one complaint was the sun beds. There was only 18! However this did not spoil what we would say was our best hoilday to date.
We met lots of lovely families have kept in touch with four of them.
The location is superb and the facilities around the Mitos nobody could fault.
We certainly will be back to Mitos and have recommended it to friends who have booked for next year. Only wish it was us!
