| said: Well what can I say! ....Wow! Thank you Holiday Park. A couple of the other reviews almost made us cancel and change from this hotel (we had changed hotels once already due to reviews at Tripadvisor).......how relieved we didn´t!
Our holiday couldn´t have been better. The location, the atmosphere, the apartments. Its situated in the busy area of Santa Ponsa, yet tucked away up a quieter street avoiding all the night noise and hustle and bustle.
We went for a long weekend, 4 days, and enjoyed every minute. We just got back yesterday, and are missing the place like mad! Great places to eat, gorgeous beach, and hard to beat apartments for the price we paid. We are now checking dates, so that we can go back in Sept.!

| said: We went on holiday to Santa Ponca for the first time this year in May. We have been to lots of places before but this particular holiday was by far the best.
My husband John and I, along with our two children Rebecca and Anthony stayed at the Holiday Park Apartments. We had a brilliant time. With children its always difficult to find somewhere clean and comfortable where we can just relax and we found everything we needed on this holiday.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, really made a fuss of the children and if the kids are happy we are happy. We spent lots of our time at the hotel bar. It was right by the pool so the children could have a swim while we put our feet up and enjoy a cool drink, something to eat and the sunshine.
Also in the evenings we went to the bar due to the fact that the food was good and there was a good atmosphere with music and different entertainment.
Some days we would go to the beach, which again was lovely and only a few minutes away from the hotel. All of us agreed that Santa Ponca is a lovely resort with shops and bars, restaurants and all the people are so friendly we couldn’t have had a better time.
We wouldn’t hesitate to book again. In fact we are planning to go back later this year and taking the rest of the family with us as we know we will all have a lovely time.
The children were so upset when we had to leave, they would have stayed forever if we let them and they are counting the days now until they can go back and see all the people at the hotel who looked after us. They really enjoyed themselves.

| said: We fancied a cheap holiday and the Holiday Park was recommended by someone I work with. I booked the flights & apartment independantly & we have never had a better holiday. The apartment was exactly as advertised...clean, plenty of space and ideal for a week´s holiday. The pool and pool bar were great. There was a friendly vibe that is really very rare to find these days in hotel bars! The staff were so welcoming and always had time to ask us how our day had been, and all spoke English. The apartments were close to everything and Santa Ponsa as a resort is really lovely and there are loads of places to eat and drink, and the beach is wonderful. We went on a boat trip one day which was great, and treated ourselves to a dinner show another day, which was just amazing. We definately will recommend these apartments to friends and family and if we return to Mallorca will stay again for sure.

| said: Hello, I read some of the comments here and we are asking ourselves if they are talking about the same hotel??? Not being funny, but none of the comments we read here are realistic or even make sense! We found a cheap last minute return ticket to Mallorca and when we arrived we got a list of hotels from the tourist centre of the airport and ended up in Santa Ponsa at 12 mid-day with no accomodation. So we started looking for accomodation.... We walked around the entire resort of Santa Ponsa and I reckon we looked at every hotel room and by the end we both agreed that the smartest chioce was Holiday Park based on the size of the room, the standard of cleanliness and the location. If location, location, location is important to you, this hotel beats them all by far because it is steps away from the centre of the resort, but not right in the middle of all the evening noise. Now, a little more truth about this hotel! The hotel apartments are good for cooking your odd little meal and have a fridge (which is spotlessly clean) and the apartments are very airy, but I must just say that they are not apt for cooking big meals or hosting a party for example! The hotel staff are the best any hotel could have to offer, without a shadow of a doubt; they are all friendly and you can stop anytime of day or night to ask them the usual questions. The only problem we encountered was the sink tap dripping and when we reported it, it was fixed in less that 20 minutes. We like to visit new places every year rather than going back to the same place year after year, but if we had to go back to Mallorca, we will honestly not hesitate to return to the same hotel. Thanks for reading

| said: For some reason we´d never holidayed in Majorca before, but now I understand why so many of us Brits visit Majorca every year and if you have not been to Santa Ponsa, Majorca, I would rate it as the number one priority location and although I have not stayed in any other Santa Ponsa hotel I must say that for £69 a night in the height of the season, it is an amazing deal at Holiday Park for 3 people sharing. Would we go back to Holiday Park hotel and Santa Ponsa? YES. Have never felt so relaxed being able to let my daughter play and swim in such a safe enviroment...everyone´s so friendly around the pool, and the beach is only 2 mins. walk away!!!

The only bad thing is that we were there to play golf and it was so busy that several times we had to go to play at the Bendinat course because the Santa ponsa golf was fully booked. We will make sure to book way in adavance next year! All in all it was great.

| said: Top Hotel and hard to beat location!
The hotel bar prices are very similar to all major bars in the area, unless you don´t mind drinking the cheap quality second brands. In that case, there are some dodgy looking bars that do serve cheaper quality at cheaper prices but be carefull with the next days headache: if it sounds too cheap, then it is too cheap and you´ll end up paying for it later in my experience! Food at the hotel is reasonably priced and the quality is quite good. You can have a proper sized Irish steak burger with chips and a small side salad for 6 Euros or a kid´s menu of fish fingers and chips for 3 Euros. There are plenty of sunbeds and there is no need to reserve them early in the morning and the atmosphere is very accomodating. We had a good holiday and would stay at Holiday Park again, if visiting Majorca.

| said: This apartment is in ideal location just at end of strip so you are close but dont get the noise from it. It is in dire need of refurbishment very tatty and you have to hire everything to make it a self catering place (kettle. Iron, microwave, air conditioning etc). I wouldn't hire anything out of principle.
The pool area is OK but not enough sunbeds when apts are full. You are not allowed to eat or drink any of your own food and drink round the pool area not even water if you are young and just want a bed and a hot shower is will be ok for you but i dont reccomend for familes.
The management didnt seem very helpful to the poor people that got burgled while I was there and also kicked one family out when they requested a stamped complaint form, they had to roam the streets until their flight at midnight.
We had one of the OK rooms I think from reading reviews on here and had no need to speak to management so our holiday was not too bad!

| said: The location of these appartments was great. Rite nxt to the beach bars and resturants. But I can honestly say that was its only good point.
The hotel rooms were dirty. Mould on the ceilings, broken tiles, and moths in the shower. It was disgusting.
But the worst part was the staff. I have never met such a rude and igronant bunch of people in my life. Particly the jordi bloke on reception he was simply vile.
On the 5th day of the holiday me and my freind had all our money stolen from the apartment. It was someone eho had access to a key.
As there were no signs of forced entry. We reported it immediatly to reception who failed to do anyfink and said it was our fault for not having a safety deposit box (which were kept in recption so someone stil would have broken into the room).
They told us not to call the poilice and when we did ourselves they said none of them spoke spanish so could not help with the translation ( we had heard them speak many times in fluent spanish on the phone). Later that day we asked to move rooms as we were 17 and feeling scared particly as our room was so high up.
They refused to move us even tho there were many rooms spare. They also would not let us speak to the manager. That night we had to put a sofa against the door just to feel safe. We also gave a description of a man that was seen hanging around the aprtment but they failed to do anythink with this and wouldnt look on the cctv to see if we could identify him. We had no money for food or drink and they wouldnt help us out.
They didnt even offer us any food from the huge bbq they were cooking . But we soon relised that all of the staff were in it 2gther we even caught the pool boy fiddling with the locks on the aprtment opposit!
The same incident also happened to another 3 young girls and they were treated in the same manor as we were. Since then we have heard of more burglaries in the apartments of young people. So they were targeting youngsters (they even situated all the young people and small parties really high up away from everythink else).
I would straongly recommend young people not to visit these apartments you are at rish from having your money ( and underwear) stolen.
I would never ever go back to these apartments.

| said: I booked this holiday and looked at the reviews on here and thought we had nothing to worry about, that we would have a lovely holiday in Majorca in a different resort to where we normally go to....I could not have thought Wrong!!
On arriving at the hotel,we were greeted by one of the night staff who did not speak any english what so ever, we hired a safe which was 25euros, but an hour later discovered the safes where in reception, asked for a refund and got it back!
After climbing up the first set of steps to the pool area we then had to climb up many many more, without any help!
The rooms, well what can i say, thay are very basic with a table and chairs, sofa bed, bathroom and in the bedroom just your bed.
Please if you do travel here do not have room 240 or 241 or any around that block as you will go onto your balcony and have the worst view i have ever seen, it is a waste ground with half a car sat there, old beds, bits of wood and just rubbish!
The windows and doors where not the best, to lock you just push the bolt over (abit like a toilet lock!) and that was it, the windows and doors were all rotting as well as every other thing in the apartment that was wood.
Towels and sheets were changed once on the holiday, BUT the sheets where just left on the side for you to change them yourself!
The pool area is in a very nice setting, a good size pool and sunbeds available plus a pool bar, the pool bar is run by about 3 ladies all never together on a shift its just one at a time, you can buy drinks, crisps, ice lollys and food there.
A word of warning if you do have any breakfast or luch there be ware!....if you have order a full breakfast or just toast the this will not be delivered to your table it will be slammed on the the side of the bar and then your whole order will be shouted out by the lady to everyone round the pool.I have never heard anything so loud, every time she shouted people jumped!
The pool was cleaned by a man with a net every day to get out any glass, rubbish and other bits and bobs people put into the pool, around the pool area was extremly slippy so be careful another thing to be warned about is SUNBEDS.
Buy a lilo when you arrive as you will not be able to lie on them as they dont move to sit you put they are just hard plastic and are the most uncomfortable things i have ever laid on!
The hotel and some parts of the resort are full of irish, which i have no trouble with, but in the hotel it seemd like the irish were in charge, as some as a particular wedding party arrived the english music was swapped for irish, and when it came to 7.30 and people were in the pool the would be told to get out straight the way, but when they irish dived in fully clothes there was no problem!
One particular night one of the Irish got thrown into the pool and had a glass in his hand which was just left in the pool!
NOISE - another things thats be mentioned on some peoples reviews is there is a night man! yes there is a night man that sits at reception but he doesnt tell people to be quiet!
I and other guest at this hotel complained about noise people were being kept up until 6 or 7 in the morning due to noise but every time the hotel manager is just rude and tried to give you any excuse. We had the wedding party in our block and we complained to just ask them to keep it down as they were pressing the door bells and being sick over the bacony! but nothing was done we were told that they are families its not like it was a group of lads next to us, again the Irish got away with it!!!!
Entertainment at night was one of the rude bar maids, trying to get children to dance at the mini disco, bingo nearly everynight, and from what i saw karoke which broke so people where just singing with no music!, parrot show and animal show!
Everything was charagable at this hotel, you were given toilet rools but if you ran out you buy your own, maid inspect your room when you leave so then can charge you if anything is broken, for the hotel to ring a taxi it cost 20cents, the fag machine in turned off and you have to ask for it on, ice creams you are not allowed to touch you have to wait for the bar maid to come and get you one!
Food and drink is a BIG no no, you have to purchase it arounf the pool or downstairs at recpection, we did get a few bits and bobs there but be careful! The drinks are very expensive a bottle of bud was 5euro but you could go and buy 6 bottles for 7euro!
The resort of Santa Ponsa was nice the beach was lovely and there was so lovely restaurants and bars, some recommendations are -
Over the road from the holiday park apartments there is a english bar called rendevous, serving the best breakfast ever! full english or just cereal whatever you want they will do for you, dinner at night is just as nice with sunday dinner, banagers and mash all the traditional foods! completly lovely people and do give there a try!!
Bar Code 7 for families who have children, great as there is bouncy castles, race tracks, trampolines which you pay for once and the children can keep going on, the for adults theres full entertainment, with a show every night!
For good singers Strings is fab with singers all night, sig lots of different songs that suits everyone.
All in all i would go to Santa Ponsa but in a hotel like the Hespria set on the beach!
If you are going to this hotel and enjoy being loud, drinking every second of the day and paying silly prices at the bar then this is for you otherwise go to another hotel!!!

| said: Just come back today stayed for one week with my husband and two children 10 and 5. We have had a fab time the hotel is in need of updating but is clean. We were on a groud floor with a terrace which was great with the children. But I noticed parents with buggies and older people with sticks having to go up quite a few stairs as the lift only went to the pool area. The hotel has very strict rules you arn't allowed a sunbed til 9.30 which I didn't know and got wrong on the first morning but it did work well. Christine who cooked behind the bar was lovely especially with the children and she makes mean toasties. The resort was very busy with alot of Irish young lads on the drink but harmless when going to the supermarket at 8.30 on a morning they were just coming in and unable to walk in a straight line. This hotel is cheap and chearful and the kids loved it.We got a warm welcome when we arrived but had to wait til 2pm to get in our room we were given a bottle of cava complimentry drink at the bar and the kids were given chocolate.

| said: Our party stayed in 3 apartments here during July.
The location was very good just a few minutes from the lovely clean beach with clubs and pubs right on the door step. The poolside bar at the apartments served snacks throughout the day which were cheap but basic. The pool area was small but lovely and sunny during the morning with plenty of sunbeds.
The apartments were basic and in need of upgrading as they were a bit tatty around the edges but clean with the maid coming in with clean towels and sheets 3 times in the week we stayed. The only bad part of these apartments were the staff and if you stayed here when we did you will know exactly what and who I mean as a lot of other holiday makers we spoke to were also complaining. The reception staff wanted 20 cents from us to phone the police when our son’s apartment was broken into with money and a mobile phone being stolen and were extremely unhelpful at a very distressing time! They told us that there wasn’t a police station in Santa Ponsa and didn’t know where the nearest police station was which was obviously untrue as the station was about a ten minute walk away by the beach! The staffs were also unable to tell me what the name was of the apartment manager and when he would be on duty and refused to give me a copy of the report that he said he would leave for his manager so I could send it to my insurance company.
On departure we again had to give reception staff 20 cents to phone a taxi for the airport run for us, something I have never heard of before If id spoken to the manager I would have told him the reason I would never ever return to the Holiday Park apartments was because of the staff who Im ashamed to say were British.

| said: My husband and I stayed at these Hotel Apartments in Sept. this year.
We had seen it on previous visits to Santa Ponsa and promised ourselves a stay there. The hotel is situated in the best part of Santa Ponsa, very handy for both the beach, shopping and night life.
Loads of room around the pool with an excellent snack bar serving all day. The breakfast there was the best I have ever experienced in Spain and for 5.50 Euros you get 8 freshly cooked items on a big plate with toast and butter and it is the only place I´ve ever seen in Spain that they handle your food with gloves! The rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean and the fridges smell fresh and clean and that is how it should be everywhere.
There was nothing that was too much hassle for the staff and you could see that they were happy working there. They were really fantastic! From the cleaners to the front desk. If you are in Santa Ponsa go to the hotel for yourself and you will see the most welcoming atmosphere and you will see so many positives about this place that the negatives don't have a real impact.
Holiday Park has been voted the best value for money for two years and they have several awards for customer satisfaction on the reception wall and that must be for something.
Overall for the price it was a perfect location and made for the foundations of an excellent holiday and we would recommend it and use it again.
Also If you intend to travel around by bus it is worth buying the Bono bus card for about 12 euros and you will save a lot. Unfortunately these are not available at the Airport but you can buy them at the bus stations.

The apartment was really clean and although simple, had everything you need while on holiday...fridge, cooking rings, pots, pans etc.
The bar and pool were also excellent. Very clean and welcoming and we ended up going there every night for a few drinks and to see what Paul the entertainer was doing each night.
The location was also ideal for us, as everything was in easy walking distance, which is a real bonus when you've got 2 small kids.
Each and every employee deserves a gold star in customer care. I've honestly never met so many nice people working in one hotel!

Maid service, what maid service!! Oh sorry forgot did supply linen and towels (had to make your own bed)
Music from 11.30 in the morning to 12 at night!!!!.
If your on a hen or stag party the hotel location would be perfect, but with a young family like us, choose somewhere else.
Only positive, the staff where very friendly and helpful.

Set around the pool in a circular formation on different levels the pool and bar area are a central focus. We spent many evenings at the hotel bar and enjoyed every minute....!
You're just a 5 minute walk from the beach and to where the English quarter is with shops, cafes and bars along the way!
Overall, for a nice and clean accomodation with a very friendly and entertaining atmosphere close enough to everything Santa Ponsa has to offer then you can't ever go wrong!

We spent more time in the hotel than anywhere, the kids age 11 and 6 made great friends the staff were all very very friendly. The rooms were very clean, basic things like 2 rings and pans plates etc, but we dont cook big meals on are jollys so that was fine with us.
We have been 5 star in greece and 4 star in Cyprus but I have to say this 2 star was the most relaxing place we have stayed in. We will return as everyone had a fab time. Big thanks to Felix, Gary, Angie, Jasmine and the rest of the staff and all the other holiday folk who were there at the same time.
