| said: Had a fantastic week out of season. There is an outdoor heated pool which is partly covered so it can be used all year round. The food was great, very varied and lots of typical english, pork chops n gravy etc as well as spanish and german dishes. Had a lovely park next to the restaurant so u can watch the kids as u eat.
The drink selection was great. Even the cocktails are included which is very unusal. The hotel is on top of a large hill, so it has amazing views over the sea and santa ponsa. If u cant walk far dont go as there are lots and lots of steps. There is a free shuttle bus to santa ponsa but the hotel has steps to each room. The entertainment was ok. but had to be in english and german so the quiz could be slightly confusing. You can go on organised walks do golf or archery there is others but i cant remember.
The rooms are huge! massive balcony kitchen tv lounge and a bedroom. Normally all inclusive are just a room and beds. Had a lovely week met some lovely people. a mix of english and german. very friendly.
I would definately return for a bargain all inclusive

| said: The hotel was very nice but had lots of stairs. It was hard work carrying the suite cases. The room was really nice but the location of the hotel was up a hill. We went back fit and toned though.
The food wasn’t very good with little choice, Pasta and Fish. Everyday near enough.
The pool was nice and we found ourselves sitting at the adult’s pool which was quieter and not so windy.

| said: Went to Club Santa Ponsa for 3 night all inclusive. Firstly the location of the hotel is at the top of a bank but the views were brilliant.
Staff are very welcoming but speak very little English.
Choice of food was limited but food available was nice. We mainly ate chips and pasta all week. Hotdogs or burgers with chips were available during the day time in the bar area.
The night entertainment was a quiz which lasted about 30 mins then back ground music for the rest of the night.
I would visit this hotel again if I was returned to Santa Ponsa for a relaxing long weekend but would go elsewhere if looking for a lively weekend away.

| said: We stayed at this hotel at the end of the summer season as Santa Ponsa shops etc. were closing down. For a very reasonable rate.
Our room was spacious clean and very comfortable, we actually appreciated the fact that this hotel was situated on top of a hill so we could enjoy the fantastic views over the bay and also walk off our dinner.
We found the food fine, and there was always something there that we both liked.
The entertainment was a bit of a joke, particualarly the man dressed up as a woman!
We are now returning in May with our children and can't wait to get there!

| said: I am surprised by some of the comments left here previously. I went to Club Santa Ponsa with my girlfriend for a week, and had a lovely time. Despite going in March the weather was lovely.
Food is nice, but my girlfriend is a veggie and didn’t have the range that I had.
Staff were excellent, especially Miguel in the bar area.
Entertainment is dire, 2 young Dutch girls that try their best on a limited budget, but you have about 20 bars, a mere 10 mins away and another 100+ restaurants/bars etc.
The beach is down 224 steps if you go the wrong way, otherwise you can get there in 10mins, the hotel does provide a free service that will take and collect you from town/beach anyway.
The hotel is on a very steep hill so anyone with walking difficulties should stay clear (of Santa Ponsa in general) - although it does mean that you have a stunning view of the beach and sea when at the pool or bar area.
I would go back time and time again, but ensure you go all inclusive.

| said: Where do I start. Well the only good points for this hotel were the very friendly staff and clean spacious apartments.
We were told there was a kids club, but not that it would be closed for winter, so our children were bored beyond belief.
Weather was fantastic. Shops etc were all virtually closed, so there was no were to visit and amused the children.
This hotel is very unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties, wheelchairs and prams, as there is so many steps everywhere you need to get too, e.g. restuarant, bar, pool ect. The hotel is also based at the top of an hill, but has fantastic views of the bay.
We had to change rooms as the heating was not on for two nights and we were all freezing, when I first reported no heating I was told I could have extra blankets, the second time I complained and was told there was no one available to fix the heating for another day.
Another reason we had to change rooms was because we had two babies with us and we could no longer cope carrying them in there prams up and down steps, approx 60 steps everytime.
But the main reason for changing rooms was when my son aged 8 years, fell on a broken step and had to be taken to hospital, he has broke his nose and had to have eight stitches.

| said: I'm sure that in the Summer this hotel is brilliant but being the winter and not very busy (apart from the Xmas Weekend) is probably why the food was always cold. The selection of food was quite strange, chips and mixed vegetables for breakfast???? and sometimes raw sausages, bacon and even chicken.
The rooms were basic but adequate but a varying degrees of heating depending where you were. We were lucky and did not have lots of steps but this is not the hotel for you if you have any walking probems.
The entertainment was practically non existent but when there was so few people in the hotel it must have been so hard to cater for so few.
The real plus of this hotel for us was the people we met and the friendliness of the staff and of course the free cocktails. None of the usual only two drinks per customer and for once served in real glasses. It was also quite refreshing to find an all inclusive hotel that didn't try to cash in by having other stuff on sale at grossly inflated prices (crisps, sweets etc) and did not sell drinks after closing time.

| said: This hotel has wonderful views as it is perched on a hill face, therein lies the problem as it is 224 steps down to the beach and all of the rooms require steps.
The food was very poor with limited choice but lots of Spanish dishes, we had raw sausages one day. The beer was San Miguel but the strangest tasting san mig I've ever had didn’t make anyone ill but everyone complained about it
