The Hotel itself was great, not so much the bar or the entertainment as we never really seen any of these, very clean, plenty of maids coming round all the time, loved our stay there, corralejo good, plenty to do for a week, no longer though, don't go all inclusive as you will be very disappointed in the winter months, prob different during the summer.

Very good apartments, should def. be 4 star on the accomodation just the extras that let it down i'm afraid.

Will def. return to these apartments in the future.

These apartments only have a three star rating but really deserve to be a four star. They are loving and when you arrive all the curtains have little roses made out of tissues, which was very lovely.

I cannot complain about the cleanliness of the hotel. The whole place was immaculate. I am a bit of a clean freak and am always wary when I go away but the standard of cleanliness was excellent.

The hotel is a 5 - 10 minute walk from the main strip but we didn't find this a problem at all. Do not let this put you off at all.

The reception staff were fantastic. Every one of them were able to talk spanish (of course), English and German very very well and the cleaning staff were also very friendly.

I would definately recommend this hotel to everyone and would definately return.

We had booked this apartment complex direct and had been assured, on more than one occasion, that we had reserved 2 x 2 bedroom apartments.

Imagine our disappointment and anger to find that, on arrival, that they would only give a 1 bedroom apartment to our friends, due to the fact that they only had one child.

I know that package holidays make it almost impossible for groups of four or less to book 2 bedroom apartments, but this was why we had booked direct. To appease us they offered us free breakfasts for the duration of our stay, which was €7.50 per adult.

As to the apartments themselves they were definitely amongst the best we have ever stayed in. The rooms were spacious and clean as the cleaners came 6 out of the 7 days we were there.

The balcony covered the length of the apartment and was ideal for those early evening aperitifs. The only negative points I would make were that the cooking facilities (though we had little inclination to use them anyway) were minimal and you had to hire a kettle (€8) from reception.

We also had a shower that leaked water onto the bathroom floor and we had to plug the leak with a towel.

Though we were self-catering we did try the breakfast in the restaurant and found it to be very good and, even though it was buffet service, there was a chef cooking eggs and omelettes to order.

The buffet lunches in the poolside bar were superb. We ate there a few days and the selection was excellent with a good mix of childrens food and local canarian dishes (the chorizo casserole was mouthwatering).

The evening buffet in the restaurant was adequate without being cordon bleu.

The pools and poolside were about the best I have come across, with special mention to the sunbeds which were wooden and had comfortable cushions, perfect for that relaxing lie down.

We had loads of fun at the well laid out mini-golf and my youngest loved the childrens play area, though the kids club and kids disco all seemed half hearted affairs.

As to the other evening entertainment, we only caught little bits of the magic show and the band, but neither would have enticed us to remain.

The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful, particularly our cleaner who answered our every request with good grace and promptness.

The hotel location was very good, being opposite the water park and 10-15 minutes walk to the main street (depending on whether our 2 year old walked or went in the buggy).

To summarise, I would hugely recommend these apartments for a relaxing holiday, as long as you don't expect to be entertained in the evenings.

Though the food was good, I wouldn't recommend all-inclusive, as I think you would get bored with the buffet style every day.

We stayed at this hotel on an all incusive basis and had a very enjoyable stay. The food was very good, the buffet menu was pretty similar everyday but there was a wide range of foods to choose from so providing you didn't pile up your plate with a bit of everything everyday your menu would be varied. The rooms were cleaned regularly with bed and towel changes at least three times a week. The pools are fantastic, a large children's pool and two large pools with plenty of sunbeds. Optional towel hire with a refundable deposit. An on site mini market that stocked all essentials at reasonable prices and a mini golf course.
The only fault we could find was the evening entertainment which consisted of a magician, a two man band with a trumpet and a saxaphone player.
All in all I would highly rate this hotel and would definatley stay there again.

Las Marismas was beautiful, it was immaculately clean (rooms cleaned 5 x week) .We stayed in a 1 bed apartment and it was really well furnished, the beds were comfortable and there is a large balcony from the living area and bedroom its very modern and feels like you are the only person that’s ever stepped in the room .We have stayed in 3 different apartments in Corralejo and this was by far the best. The staff at reception were helpful, the swimming pools were lovely and there were plenty of lovely wooden sun beds around .The hotel is behind the water park and a good 10 minutes walk to the centre of Corralejo all on the flat. This never bothered us at all as it was lovely and quiet and not far from the bars and restaurants. We never ate at the hotel or stayed in for the entertainment so can’t comment. There is a nice crazy golf, which is free, and a little mini market as well as a children’s pool and play area that looked really good. I would recommend this hotel it was fabulous and I will be going back in February.

Fantastic Complex ~ only a 3 star but should be 4*, the only reason why it wouldn't be maybe is because of the lack of Air Con in the rooms! But there is a large ceiling fan in the bedroom. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained and cleaned 5 times during the week. Only down side was lack of entertainment! Only 4 times during the week and nothing to shout about at all.

The room that we had had 2 balconeys (both huge) as we were on the 3rd floor (only about 10 rooms on this floor) if you get chance then ask for a top floor room, the views are amazing!
Go on, treat yourself and go to Las Marismas.....

As for the resort itself - lovely and quaint, small harbour and huges beaches. If your looking for a manic drink fuelled frenzy then this isnt for you, but if you are looking for a relaxing time with great weather and views to die for then this is for you.

The walk to the town centre takes about 10 mins or 2.50 in a taxi. Once in town head straight on to the old town where there are old restuarants a plenty and bars and clubs, even in the back streets you'll find bars and places to visit.

We hired a car for 3 days @ 85 euros from Wendy's in the high street (the cheapest we found) and the drive around is great, including the mountains (which I dont usualy like) but these were ok to get around. The dunes are huge and you drive threw the middle of them (sand does cover the roads and the Taxi's do zoom across them at some speed) - If your Gay then there are a couple of bars to visit, Bubbles in the atlantico on main street and also Sadies drag bar in the back streets by the Shell petrol Station. Sadie's is great and well worth a visit, family run by son, mum and dad. The son is Sadie and is fantastic - well worth a visit. Say hi from us when your there!!

Have a great relaxing holiday and enjoy the sun and the breeze that cools you down.

I thoroughly recommend this place. Spent one week here and everything was fantastic.

Only fault I have is the restaurant which we tried on final evening so I would recommend taking room only and eat out.

Fab kids club run by Sandy who is great with kids.

Booked this through alpharooms.... Mainly chose it as it said that not many English stay here so I thought it would be exceptionally clean and we weren't disappointed.

Quite a spread out complex but lovely and clean and well looked after. The mini golf is very nicely done and the pools are spotlessly clean.

Only one bad thing no good English TV but we weren't in our room very much. Would recommend this hotel to anyone...

We made our own way to the Hotel taking the bus from airport and the cost was very cheap.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. Bathroom had a great shower. Beds very comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space and a safe. Staff were very helpful and the pool area and bars very good.

No real entertainment but that could have been the time of year as it was quite empty. The accommodation in next to a aqua park and large crazy golf and childrens park.

Also a market just over the road so no need to take any day trips.

This Hotel was the best we have ever styed in, very clean, modern well layed out. the accommodation was spacious and imaculate, we had a two bedroomed appartment overlooking one of the three pools, it was very peaceful. Plenty of comfortable sunbeds to choose from, and lots to do do, my seventeen year olds played all the sports.
The staff were friendly and efficient, my only negative, not much evening entertainment, so we would walk into town of an evening and call in at the oasis dunas.
I would highly reccommend this hotel and travel republic were excellent also, picked up on time from airport in a mini bus just for us and the same on return.

We stayed in a 1-bed apartment.

These have 2 sliding patio doors from the living room and bedroom on to a private terrace. Kitchenette was well supplied with kettle and microwave. TV has 2 English channels - Sky News(but no sound available) and Eurosport. Bedroom had king-size(2 singles pushed together) and good wardrobe.

Hotel very attractively and thoughtfully laid out. Spa, shop and laundry "still coming". Mini golf free for 1 hour and squash free if you have own equipment. Maid service on 6 days. Sheets changed twice and towels 5 times. Difficult to find because of one-way system. Golf driving range being built next to Baku water park.

Find the road running alongside these with them on the right and look for dome over reception. Overall excellent resort.

We found Las Marismas by searching the internet for a week's holiday anywhere in the Canaries during the Easter fortnight. We were encouraged by the fact that Las Marismas was regarded as having a predominantly German clientele as their standards are known to be very high. We were not disappointed! The hotel was spotless from the modern reception area to the carefully tended landscaped gardens. The good sized apartment was well furnished and again impeccably clean. We particularly liked the bug screen across the patio doors and the ceiling fan in the bedroom. We were also impressed by the amount of drawer and hanging space and by the generous provision of coat hangers. Had we been determined to do our own cooking we would have struggled with just the two-ring hob; a microwave oven would have been a bonus. Similarly a little more kitchen equipment would have been appreciated - wine glasses for example! Although there was a TV there were only two English speaking channels - sport and 24-hour news.

Our balcony overlooked the extremely attractive pool area and what particularly impressed was the plentiful supply of superior sunbeds complete with free mattresses and sunshades - an absolute must if a relaxing holiday in the sun is what you want. We used the poolside bar regularly and the food was of good quality. We tried the restaurant just once for an evening meal and felt that it was a bit too much like a cafeteria. There was a lovely salad bar but the main courses were limited and the sweets very artificial.

The plan of Las Marismas shows a mini market which was not in existence during our visit. I am sure one is planned for the near future and it would be very welcome as the nearest supermarket is a ten minute walk away. We are not big users of sports facilities but there are tennis courts, volleyball, a football pitch and basketball court. Squash courts are being finished and we did make use of the FREE mini golf. We have given the entertainment a low score simply because we did not get involved with it. The entertainment always seemed to be on as we were leaving the complex for our evening meal so I suspect it was geared more for children.

The staff were all very friendly, helpful and largely multi-lingual. Maid service was excellent.

Although Las Marismas is on the edge of Corralejo it really isn't a long walk down into the town centre, (we took a taxi only once). We actually appreciated being just that bit further out because it was more peaceful. There is quite a lot of new development around Las Marismas but it is in no way intrusive as the new building seems always to be low level.

We were very impressed with Las Marismas and had a lovely holiday there. As it has only been open six months everything was fresh, clean and new and it wasn't too busy - perfect for OUR type of holiday!

Travelled Independently, Las Marismaswas difficult to find because of the one way system.
We found the apartment clean and tidy, with two ring ceramic hob and microwave. Had to ask for a coffee making machine and kettle.
The entire complex has only been open 6 months with a few rooms still being finished off.
In the summer there will be plenty of room round the two pools or even the kiddys pool.
Pool bar open till 6 pm but only served food at lunch time. Resteraunt open from 6 and was very good. Bar open till 12 with some live music.

Opposite Baku water park about 10 to 15 mins walk out of town - but only 3 euros to get back by taxi.

Probably best of both worlds - quiet location but easy to get to the night clubs and town bars.

We really did enjoy ourselves just chilling out this holiday.

Hope you enjoy yourselves at this resort.

Hotel - Extremely attractive complex with lovely pool and garden area. Apartments nicely furnished with colourful curtains/bedspread. Ceiling fan in bedroom. The majority of apartments appeared to be empty as only been open a few months and at the moment being used by German, Scandinavian and possibly Dutch Tour Operators.

Location – Near the Water Park and at least ten minutes walk to the start of the restaurants on Main Street, another few minutes or so to a street with three English bars with entertainment in each and another few minutes to the restaurants near the harbour. No bars or restaurants in the immediate vicinity, apart from in the complex and a couple of apartment blocks nearby. Large area of land being developed in front of the apartment block as an extension to the Water Park - going to have a Dolphinarium.

Facilities - Pool bar serving lunchtime snacks, bar open in the evenings. Various sporting facilities like tennis, mini-golf. Did mention a spa but it wasn’t open yet, also supermarket not yet open. There was one about five minutes walk away at the Oasis Dunas and a large Netto about ten minutes away.

Food – Buffet Breakfast available at 7.50 Euros for one meal, 6.60 each for 4 to 7 and 6 Euros for 7 and over. Buffet Dinner for 15 Euros for one meal, 13 Euros each for 4 to 7 and 10 Euros for 7 or over. As we had been All Inclusive the week before in Caleta we decided to be good and settled for toast and yoghurt for breakfast, and had a snack in the apartment for lunch, but dined in the restaurant four evenings. I could recommend giving it a try as we enjoyed the meals, but wouldn’t have liked to dine there for two weeks as there wasn’t a lot of choice for the main course. You could have soup, a nice salad selection which varied each evening, but the main course was basically the same, either a slice of chicken or meat or fish cooked fresh on the griddle with chips and a choice of one veg which varied each evening. There was also pasta and rice, and a lovely choice of desserts and ice-cream. Two evenings we had a Chinese Buffet (lots and lots of those!) and one evening went to the Medieval Carvery which you will see advertised – nothing Medieval about it really, just a small restaurant but for 10 Euros you got a starter and main course. There was a choice of three different meats and you could have some of each, and then the Chef served you the rest. I am greedy so asked for some of each and ended up with the meat, sprouts, peas, carrots, roast and mash potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy.

Entertainment – There was aqua-gym two mornings and stretching/pilates one morning and two evenings when an artist was on in the bar. There is a large function room and I am sure when it is busier there will be more entertainment arranged.

Internet – One machine in the hotel at a cost of 1 Euro for ten minutes. An Internet café off Main Street, about opposite the Brisamar apartments – cost 1 Euro for half an hour and you didn’t need to buy a drink (at least I didn’t).

Bus - If you want to save some money then it is quite easy to catch the bus to Correlajo. The bus stops directly outside the airport terminal building, not sure if there was an actual bus stop, only bus bays for other buses but wait in about the middle. You need a No 3 going to Puerto Rosario and then from the same stop in Puerto Rosario you catch a no 6 to Correlajo which run on the hour and on the half hour. You need to get off the bus before the bus station near the Water Park. You will pass two large Riu Hotels, then Caleta Del Mar and you come to a roundabout, and then to a second roundabout. Just after this roundabout ring the bell to let the driver know you want to get off at the next top.

They have changed the bus stop going into Correlajo, if it is still at the same place you will walk back the way the bus came a short distance, then turn right up La Santa Maria, then left then right along Calle Huriamen at the back of the Water Park and Las Marismas is about half way along. It will cost 1.10 Euros from the Airport to Puerto Rosaria and then 2.55 Euros to Correlajo. The bus stop back is on the corner of the next street, nearer the Water Park. You can also catch a bus there to visit El Cotillo.

Beach – The beach was quite a walk away but you could arrange with the hotel to be taken to the beach at 9.30 am and return at 3.30 am for 2 Euros. Couldn’t have spent that long on the beach while I was there which brings me to …..

Weather – Oh dear, two weeks in Fuerteventura (one in Caleta) with mixed weather the whole time, sun, cloud and rain. The only consolation was that it was a lot warmer than England.

We were relocated to lasmarismas due to building work at our original choice and we were over the moon. The hotel is brilliant, clean, modern, and in fact quite luxurious.

Everything about it is first class except the nightly entertainment which I would describe as adequate. The only disappointment was that there were hardly any English people there and all the menus were in German (I ordered chicken and ended up with a tuna sandwich) we would definitely recommend las marismas and hope to go back again.

We found this place ourselves after Expedia couldn't move us from the Oasis Tropical.

This place ended up cheaper than the Oasis Tropical, but was 2000% better.

Staff were very friendly, place has been open only 3 months. It has a mini golf course, a freshwater pool, and a saltwater pool, two boule areas, and is opposite the "Baku" Water park, which was still being completed.

We had a fantastic time, although most of the people here were German. It has 2 bars, excellent food in the restaurant, buffet style. The entertainment isn't brilliant, but good. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Harbour at Correlejo.

Well worth going back to, although I can't see them holding the prices as low as they did. We found it via www.hotelopia.com, who were also very helpful.
