Would definitely go back.

| said: We stayed at the Pelin in early July.We had read earlier reviews and were slightly worried. We need not have been it was absolutly brilliant.
The guys who run it could not have been more helpful or friendly. Our room had twin beds and balcony with sea views albeit between the hotels opposite. It is situated on the main street one row back from the beach about one minute to walk across the road.
The room was cleaned and tidied every day and we returned two days to have the sheets and towels arranged on the bed with petals arranged in a pattern.
Breakfast was Turkish and pretty basic, but juice or cooked breakfast were available.Meals were available from the kitchen allday and night, including pizza, steak and usual turkish menu which was adequate. There are loads of restaurants and cafes within a few minutes so we tended not to eat there but were happy to do so.They had a barbecue one night with 3 courses for £10.
This is a great 3 star hotel near the beach and right in the village, which in my view is well run by a great bunch of guys and also a woman who seemed to work through the day.
If you want 5 star all inc with personal bath robes then don't come.
But for a really great good value holiday this is the place for you.
One tip. There is a free boat from the harbour every night to the Amos bay retaurant, great food right on the beach, particualary good for veggies.
Enjoy

| said: Had a very enjoyable holiday in Turunc having been here 8 years ago.
The Hotel Pelin was much as one would expect from an inexpensive 2/3 star small Turkish Hotel. Everything was just O.K, but could be so much better with more care and effort by everyone but especially the cleaners. Change of towels and bedclothes appeared to be haphazard and not consistent throughout the hotel.
The staff were friendly but the place could be improved significantly with keen management and a 'womans' eye for cleanliness and detail. It might cost a little more but in my opinion would be justified.

| said: Both my husband and I stayed at this hotel for two weeks, I can say this was one of the best holidays we have had.
The rooms was very clean, they were cleaned every day, the cleaners were very friendly, they put clean towels and changed the bed every day, the staff were very friendly and very helpfull they tryed to make every body who were staying there happy, they also made there own entertainment for the guests who were staying there.
The food was very nice it was a Turkish style breakfast, bread, cheese, boiled egg, olives, jam, also honey.
The swimming pool was very clean, they were plenty of sun beds for all the guests, the area was kept very clean. there was a nice bar.
You could also stay at the hotel and have a meal which was very nice and good value for money.

| said: The Pelin hotel was very clean and the staff always made an effort to make everyone feel welcome. We stayed for 7 nights and really we couldnt of asked for anything better.
The food was lovely , the rooms were cleaned daily , the pool was clean - there were always sunloungers to relax on and nothing was too much trouble for the staff at the Pelin.
I would go back to the Pelin again as it was perfect for what we wanted which was to relax and enjoy ourselves at a reasonable price but in total comfort.

| said: The Pelin Hotel is situated in a beautiful village and is potentially a pleasant, nicely situated ‘small and friendly’ budget hotel. However, it is run mainly by about 6 young men and a chef who are unprofessional and over familiar with the guests in their duties. Most of them seem to have a ‘screw loose’ but are not threatening or aggressive, quite the opposite. Faced with a problem they are ‘lost’ and this is compounded by a lack of real management structure in the hotel. Our room was very small but bearable. Our man-maid worked hard but struggled to cope with his workload. We had to ‘watch him’ or else you wouldn’t get clean towels or fresh toilet rolls. The balcony was never cleaned. Similarly the pool area was never cleaned so the sun beds and tables were filthy. Sometimes there was an unpleasant Sulphuric smell on our balcony. The staff denied it existed but I suspect it was coming from strong chemicals put in the public toilet below our room. The pool bar is pleasant, has a TV and Radio Nostalgy or Cd’s broadcast daily. Some people with rooms facing the pool complained they did not switch off the music until the early hours. The pool is about 5foot 6inches deep at its shallowest. Drinks are 3m(1.20) for a large beer (Efes Lager), 2m(80p) for a large water or a soft drink and slightly cheaper in the happy hour (6.30pm – 8.30). Snacks are inexpensive e.g. 3m(1.20) for cheese on toast. They do full meals but we never tried them. Food and drink is slightly more expensive on the beach or on the main street, which are both minutes away. Breakfast at the Pelin is a buffet of coffee, cornflakes, boiled eggs, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, bread, jam and melon. A full English breakfast is 5m(2.00) extra and scrambled eggs 3m(1.20). This would be more appealing if the chef didn’t smoke while cooking! The other staff also smoke behind the bar whilst serving drinks! What the Pelin needs is a manager and one who ‘kicks butt’
