| said: We booked a 3 night break only 6 days before we went and did'nt know what to expect but we were plesently suprised. First impressions was ok reception staff plesent and helpful although the room was basic and small, we had a lovely sea view and it was clean.the hotel is old and could really do with a little tarting up for example the carpets in the corridors are really tatty but value for money was excellent.
The food was lovely we loved the breakfast they were constantly replenishing everything and everything was piping hot could'nt fault it. The waiters were somthing else. I am sure they had been there since the hotel was built, I do understand that in peak season they must have a lot to put up with when there a groups of youngsters but we are in our late forties and a smile once in a while would have been nice. We didnt stay in the hotel in the evenings so can't really comment on the entertainment.

| said: Ages - Steve (34) / Tracy (30)
Booked this last minute,as we recognised the name of the hotel as we go to Magaluf every year and it was on our list of hotels we wanted to really stay at.
Only once we had booked we started to read horror stories of this hotel now mainly catering for the 18 - 30 groups.....Arrrghhhhhh!!!.
Anyways on arrival noticed that there was a good mix of couples of all ages and also a lot of senior folk , could this of been due to it being early/mid september though ?
There was however,a couple of large groups of lads and girls staying here but I challenge you to find any lively hotel in Magaluf that does not have rowdy groups.
The hotel is perfectly situated on the beach with a good standard of cleanliness.
However the stair/hallway carpets are showing their age and makes the hotel look a little grubby.
Our room had a great view of the beach but I think it was one of the smallest rooms we have ever been in.
The rooms air con was a complete joke......nothing wrong technically with it.....they simply put it on the lowest setting possible and your only option is OFF/ON and no HIGHER/LOWER degrees.
No ceiling fan either.
Maids do a great job of room service, fresh towels everyday etc.
Reception staff very polite and helpful.
Food was very good at evening meals, salads 10/10 , hot food a very good choice of quality meats veg, chips, pasta.
Breakfast was awesome with cereals, continental, toast and all the fried stuff you can think of.
The only downside I felt was that the sweets were poor, little pots of blamange, cream and un-inspiring sponges or a limited choice of fruit ( melon mainly ).
The ice cream was tasty and plentiful though.
The entertainment of a night time was variable from bad to good, some of the outside entertainers/shows they pay for are hit and miss.
The hotel entertainment staff do a superb job of gee-ing everbody up and they have a nightly Bingo session ( we won €210,worked out at £206 on our last night... we were skint up till that point....yayyyyyy :O).
We both loved this hotel and whilst we would visit it again I think we may leave it a year or two and hopefully in that time they may spend some money on doing it up a little.

staying in the hotel and in magaluf itself and yes it can be abit noisey at night but hey your in magaluf if you want peace and quite dont go to magaluf. The hotel itself
was ok staff on reception was not very helpful but rooms were made up everyday the food was excellent with plenty of choice. The hotel is located right at the end of the beech so is 10 min walk from the centre of magaluf so the bars near the hotel are much more quite and relaxing at night.Dont think i would stay there again as it is for young people magaluf that is and if this hotel was anywhere else would stay there again it was just abit noisey with all the younguns but there just enjoying themselves.

| said: We have just come back from 2 weeks in this hotel and my husband and I who are in our 50's would not recommend this to anyone over 21. This is a young and lively hotel although we were never told this.
The young people take over this hotel, you cannot get near the pool and if you want peace and quite you need to go to the beach area of the hotel.
The food is ok you won't starve, the entertainment is rubbish and the reps dont want to know you if you are over 21.
The staff go about with their faces tripping them because they have to put up with the young crowd being drunk from morning till night.
The dining area states you cannot wear shorts to dinner but the young crowd come in in their bathing costumes with towels over their shoulders while the few older patrons make the effort to dress for dinner.
All rooms have door bells and when the nightclubs are finished your bell goes all night with people forgetting what floor they are on.
The young crowd swear and shout all day and have no regard for anyone else on holiday.
We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

| said: We arrived at the majorca beach at 6am absolutly exhausted as been up since 7am the morning before there was 3 familys in our group, the toilets in the reception were filthy.
We had requested rooms next to each other with the travel agents and when we were given the keys, 2 rooms where on the 4th floor and the other on the 1st.
We got up at 9am to go and see the rep,by the time we got there there was already a queue of people waitng to complain.
Out of the 3 rooms only 1 off them was any good (apart from the balcony which was fastened on with shelf brackets and still wobbled with children 3 & 5 in the room we never let them on it), the room on the 1st floor had the bins outside and the generator which went all night long the other room on floor 3 had dirty sheets with blood on and pubic hairs from the previous occupants.
When we notified the rep of this she went up to have a look and requested the sheets to be changed, it took the maid 3 attempts to put clean sheets on. The following day the rep had our familys all on the 3rd floor. After a bad start the holiday seemed to go ok untill a group of young & lively came in to the hotel, we had to call the security a few times durin the early hours of the mornings because of the loudness and behavoiour of these.
The childrens pool in the hotel was closed off twice in the 2wks we were there because of broken glass in it and when it was open they would take the children out of it for a hour a day for the young & lively to play games in it.
The hotel is only 3 steps down to the beach(which was the only good thing about the hotel)so we went there everyday. The food at the hotel was lovely and varied each night there was also a childrens menu aswell as a vegitarian menu the desserts were Fantastic.
The location of the hotel was good, right on the beach with shops and bars near by and the main nightlife about 10mins walk away, the water parks are also close by the best 1 being the Western Water park. You were lucky if you found a pleasent hotel staff because most of them were miserable.
The entertainment was totally rubbish, the evening began with the childrens at 7pm and ended with the childrens at 12 there was absolutly nothing for the adults. There was 5 adults & 5 children in our party and we definatly WONT be going to this hotel again.
This hotel was not advertised as young & lively but there was more groups of these than familys.

| said: Third visit to Majorca Beach with daughters aged 15,13,11 & 9.
Rooms on 2nd floor were in need of really good clean and spruce up. Mold on bathroom ceiling, balcony very dirty - had to clean balcony furniture before use and also found crisp and broken glass under bed - from previous inhabitants ( as definately wasn't us) . Air conditioning and phone out of order - but repaired on request. Hotel used by a large number of Young & Lively bookings - lots of noise and disruption throughout fortnight.
Food in restaurant very repetative - vegetables - carrots or green beans at breakfast.
Hotel staff friendly although receptionists exasperated at times by some of the younger guests.
Repairs to hotel carpets and systems done during stay - one day stairs out of order had to wait for lifts.

| said: On arrival we were greeted in a very efficient and friendly manner. We were lucky to get a room on first floor overlooking the sea.
First impressions of the hotel were good, self catering room however is very basic. Our room had only fridge, double ring hob and manky old kettle. I just bought a cheap toaster although I could have got one from reception, suited me as the one I bought allowed me to heat croissants etc.
Pillows were at the end of their days, however we were issued with more on request. If you speak to reception they do their upmost to make things as comfortable as possible.
Room was cleaned every day , clean linen and towels etc. Was a bit rundown as grout missing or coming away from tiles in bathroom.
Didn't see any mould, but carpet from reception up to first floor need replaced.
Swimming pools were freezing, used the beach every day as its two steps from the hotel and your on it. Only 3 euro to hire sunbed for the day, so not bad.
Kidsworld for daughter was fantastic and the staff were brilliant. They did have outings and the dearest my daughter went on was only 10 euro, which proved to be good value for the 3 hours she away. That included her dinner!! Entertainment at night was not the best but the entertainers did work really hard. Every night at 8pm till 9pm was for the kids, hide and seek, dancing , games etc. After this was bingo followed by the entertainer giving a show or outside entertainers.
During the day the entertainers would arrange games for older kids/adults to play/compete in to win t-shirt, seemed that the entertainers had their favourites though (only my opinion).
There were quite a lot of children who caused a bit of disruption through bad behaviour, staff tried to get them to cool it, at the end of the day the parents didn't bother as long as they were left alone to enjoy their drinks. Shame as it was annoying for other guests.
Hotel staff - mostly very friendly with the exception of a few, who as someone else described as needing a personality transplant (a couple of reception staff).
Bar staff (hose, angel) were fantastic as was our lovely cleaner.
Probably would visit one more time but next time as half board. Hope they stop allowing people to smoke in the rooms as ours stank. I smoke, but only on the veranda, took days to get rid of the smell.

Food very nice plenty and a lots of variety, not a great deal of children’s choice.
Lots of youngsters in this year which spoilt it a little, previous years it was families only. Facing street in hotel not much sleep as people shouting going to their apartments.
Entertainment ok not as good in previous years, but entertainers do work hard.
Kid’s entertainment great, but the room they meet in smells of sewage.
Would I go back yes to Majorca not to this hotel.

| said: We arrived at our hotel expecting to find a nice and clean 3 star plus hotel. instead we arrived at a rundown and not so clean majorca beach hotel.
My friend and I requested a room on a high floor. when we arrived in our room on the 8th floor our balcony view was lovely but the balcony door would not open. We reported it several times before getting it fixed.
The room looked nothing like it did in the thomas cook brochure and was very rundown and falling apart. The good bit was that our towels and bed linen were changed everyday.
The breakfasts were really good and there was always plenty of food.
Dinner was ok but there were a few wierd dishes and we had to pay for drinks. There was always the choice of chicken nuggets and chips. The hotel was "ok" but I will not be returning in the future.

| said: Room was great, we were allocated on the 4th floor with a fantastic view of pool and sea. 2 twin beds, table and chairs on balcony and in room itself. Bathroom was quite small with a small shower but was ok for us. Room was spotless as it was cleaned everyday.
Food in the hotel was brilliant, lots to choose from. Breakfast was English and continental so had something for everyone and evening meals were fab also, chicken was great! Had to pay for drinks with meal though.
Location was really great, was able to get to sleep at night but not too far to walk to the main strip (punta ballina).
Plenty of vending machines in reception to get water etc, only 60 cent for a big bottle.
Pool was quite small and deep all round so no good for kids. The kids pool was shallower however was in the shade as its under the trees.
Had to get up early to put towels on sun loungers as you wouldnt get one otherwise.
Hotel has its own sunloungers just set back off the beach which are free but quite shaded because of the trees.
Entertainment in the evening was good, reps shows kept the kids quiet and magic show was good.
Would definately recommend this hotel but families wanting a quite break should book for quieter times of the year, I was there last week of June and 1st week of July and was pretty busy, especially with the world cup going on (England fans got excited) but I would definately go back to Majorca Beach.
Had the best 2 weeks of my life and can't wait to go again. No complaints!!!

| said: After a couple of short delays and a long day travelling , we arrived at the Majorca Beach feeling a bit tired.
Our check in to the hotel went quite smooth to say that there was only two members of staff on the desk and nearly a full coach of holiday makers arriving . We was allocated our rooms only to find that we had one room on the tenth floor and two on the eleventh , when we finally got the lift and made our way to the rooms we found them to be very clean , tidy and very spacious with two single beds , table and chairs , a tv ( which you had to pay for at reception ) two large wardrobes ( built in ) , air conditioning and a large bathroom .
Then the moment of truth came , the balcony ( oh hell ) get the oxygen masks out , anyone who doesnt like heights stay in the room!
By this time it was getting on for two in the morning and everyone was in need of refreshments , so we made our way downstairs ( in the lift ) because nobody could do that amount of stairs ( up or down ) . When we got to reception we found that the bar shut at one oclock but there was plenty of vending machines in the reception area , even a San Miguel one ( of which many a sixty cent was spent ) We decided to finally hit the sack at around four thirty ish and get a couple of hours before breakfast which was between eight and ten .
We arrived in the dining area for breakfast only to find that you need to take your meal card with you and not just your room key .
The food was the usual spread , continental , cereal and English and was all of very high standards ( a few dodgy items though ie chicken nuggets , broccoli and chicken croquets ) having said that chicken nuggets and beans went down well with one member of our party ! Having all enjoyed the breakfast , we all hoped that the evening meal was of the same standard ? and we weren'snt let down ! with more than enough to choose from , the meats were fantastic and always cooked to perfection .
The staff around the hotel are the normal mix , some jolly and happy to help and others come across like its a big effort , the cleaners came round at the same time everyday and were always chatty and happy . Did not have very much to do with the reps , although when we came across them they were always happy and asked if we needed anything and all was ok .
The staff in the shop within the hotel could have done with a personality transplant , but they did offer a better exchange rate than the hotel ( 1.43 to the £ ) .
We cant really comment that much on the entertainment has most nights we were out , but the bits that we did catch were quite good , a magician and a rod stewart look a like . The bingo was a little steep at ten euros a go . The younger end of our party enjoyed the reps show and it kept them entertained for an hour or so .
The location of the hotel is great. Just out of the noise , hussle and bussle of the night and just a short walk away from the nearest shops , bars and taxi rank.
Its also right on the beach , through the back of the hotel . The swimming pool wasnt that big with no depth markings around it . There was also a smaller pool , park and bar area has you made your way to the beach .
Overall we had a great week and would definately visit the majorca beach again !

Just come back from the 3rd visit.
The Hotel, now not under the full control of Iberostar, but under the Thomas cook. The Hotel's a lot more run down, a lot of damage done to allowing group gangs which the Hotel did not previously allow.
The children's pools dirty, the room cleanliness not as good and the entertainment very poor. The only good point of the Hotel, was the staff who still remain.

| said: Just returned from a great week self-catering at the Majorca Beach. With the exception of the night porter we encountered on check-in who had a generally poor demeanor, the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Our room was really large, clean and had great views across the bay. The pool looked OK but as the beach was so close (the hotel grounds lead onto the beach itself) we didn't use it during our stay. The hotel does not as suggested have a 'private beach' - it has it's own sunbed area in it's grounds next to the beach. Although this has sand it had more than it's fair share of cigarette butts mixed in and is partly shaded due to the large trees. We preferred pay for the 2.50 euro a bed loungers on the beach, which is kept much cleaner.
The hotel is at the edge of the resort - though in comfortable walking distance of anywhere, including the neighbouring Palma Nova. We went in mid October so it was fairly quiet anyway, but in busier periods I would probably have appreciated the fact the Majorca Beach is just off the main strips.
The hotel entertainment wasn't up to a lot but a reasonable effort was made by the Thomas Cook reps - when they weren't bleating on about the customer feedback surveys and begging us to tick the 'excellent' box at every opportunity. The hotel bar was quite expensive and insisted on giving you your change in a little dish every time; presumably in the hope that you would leave a tip, which I found a little irritating - no other bars we visited did this.
All considered though, any problems were minor and I would recommend the hotel without hesitation.

Must say though that we were warned about the steps before we booked and even told how many there were.We found all staff very helpful, by the end of our holiday even the chefs were passing the time of day.
Pool a little on the small side but a small private beach made up for that.Location could not have been better, front of hotel looked out on quiet shopping area, back almost straight onto beach.
All garden and pool areas have ramps. Not suitable for disabled persons with severe walking problems due to steps inside hotel.
We would visit this hotel again.

Never ate at hotel, plenty of places to eat within close proximity to hotel.
Hotel location fantastic, we had a great view of the pool and the sea/beach from our room.
Hotel staff - only really spoke when spoken to.
Entertainment provided by hotel dire. A pub quiz (without the pub), count all the sweets in the jar (without the jar), speed pool (2 elderly contestants), bingo (without the dabber), darts and who wants to be a millionaire without Chris tarrant. An interesting mix bag of so called entertainment.

| said: Had a wonderful holiday, returned from here on Tuesday 13th September and can't wait to go back.
Our hotel room was spotless, a good size and the most beautiful view of the bay and the little island.
The reception staff were extremely friendly - however we did find that a small minority of restaurant staff were quite abrupt and standoffish this was also commented on by other hotel guests.
The rooms are cleaned everyday, with a linen and towel change every other day and the maids never stop.
I personally did not enjoy the food in the buffet style restaurant, my husband however did and speaking to other guests the reactions were 50/50 also.
From what I can gather - it is the self catering rooms that although quite large, have the small showers, our half board room had a bath with a shower of normal size.
The location is ideal it is far enough away from the strip for us as a couple aged 34 and 44, but if you are younger you only have a 10 min walk to all the main clubs on the strip and if you have children it is again 10mins to all the family orientated pubs.
There are lots of lovely little bars right facing - Pilo's being a particular favourite of ours as Tony the owner made us very welcome and his food was all freshly cooked.
The hotel supplies separate "yellow" sunbeds for the beach area, although this isn't strictly on the beach it is just two steps away. Getting a sunbed was not a problem and we did not have a problem with any 18/30's but this I think was due to going out of season.
I can't really comment on the entertainment as we did not stay in the hotel on any night, we did however hear a "Rod Stewart impersonator" warming up while we were getting ready (it did sound chronic) when we got to Pilo's bar a couple in the hotel next door asked us if we had a Karaoke night on because they could hear a man who couldn't sing, practising his Karaoke.
We had a wonderful holiday here - you can't beat this hotel for beach, bar and shop location and I hope they are not going to make it all inclusive next year because I really want to go back.

The beach was brilliant but watch out for the touts we had money stolen off us. However the police did patrol the beach once informed.
Would strongly recommend this holiday.

| said: Stayed at the Majorca Beach from 21/8/05 till 5/9/05.
Found the hotel staff to be very friendly. The Thomas Cook reps in the hotel I found did not communicate with guests, even if you were sitting in reception area, they never said a good morning or hello, the kids clubs reps especially John and Lee were brillant, I travelled alone with my son and once John and Lee knew I was alone with son, they did make extra effort to pop over and said hello and have a chat, (thanks guys :)
The room was large and basic, in fact one of the biggest rooms we have stayed in.
The entertainment of a night, hmmm now what can I say about that, it did get beyond laughable, it was the worst entertainments team I have ever seen, a lot of people stayed for the bingo then after that quite a lot left.
The hotel is in a prime location, right on beach and a small walk to shops and other bars, also you can walk to Pirates and the Water Park.
The pool I found was not safe at all, no warnings of depth of pool and even as an adult I could not touch the bottom of the pool, I did make a comment about this, and quite a few people also said how dangerous it was. Twice durning our stay the pool was closed for about 2 hours as some-one had used the pool as a toilet.
Coming to the end of our holiday there was large and small groups of 18-30's come to the hotel, our room faced onto the street, but a few people had said they had heard the young ones coming in early hours of the morning to the point were they were woke up by their rowdyness.

| said: Stayed at this hotel for 14 nights 16th Aug-30 Aug.
As a family of six, we were allocated two adjacent rooms on the second floor.
Generally the hotel was very clean and the public areas were constantly being cleaned and litter picked.
As the hotel is literally on the beach, with a small number of sun loungers on a sandy area before the beach it has a prime location.
Most of the staff were helpful, however some of the waiters in the restaurant were a little sharp and were very quick to shout at us to ask if we had enough people to sit at a table for six.
The entertainment was pitiful. Every evening followed a pattern of 30 mins childrens dancing, childrens biscuit dipping contest, a break then bingo, and then an even longer break before the main show. One evening being a Rod Stewart impersonator and another being a Karaoke version of an 80's night by the inhouse entertainment team of 3 people.
Quite a number of Kids World evening sessions were chargeable - from 5euros to 15euros depending on session.

| said: Just arrived back from holiday 20 August 2005.
ON ARRIVAL: Don't exactly know where to start - arrived at the Majorca Beach Hotel and thought it looked Ok at a first glance. However as we stepped in we felt very disappointed, as it looked shabby and very outdated. We were given the key to our room which was large and although clean looked dirty as a result of the shabby presentation of its interior i.e. mould around the bath, nasty smell, doors hanging off, a large hole in the dirty wardrobe, no furniture on the balcony except for a broken chair. This room did not live up to our expectations of a 3* plus. It didn't even have a phone.
However after complaining to the Thomas Cook rep who incidentally was unapproachable, abrupt and didn't care, we found that it was normal practice to complain and we were one of many each day.
FOOD: The food was quite good in comparison to other half board hotels and there was average selection.
SWIMMING POOL: Small, old, depth not adequately labelled in the interests of health and safety and there was no lifeguard. We spent very little time at the pool as we could never get a sun bed. The guests' queue up early in the morning and put their towels on the beds whether they want then or not. For the amount of guests staying at the hotel there are not enough beds. So for us sunbathing round the pool was not a option.
ENTERTAINMENT: The worst entertainment I have ever seen. You spend more time waiting for something to happen and therefore more time drinking the hotels very weak alcohol. Most of the entertainment done by the reps and very poor - need I say more. We spent most of our time watching the outside entertainment in Magaluf and in other hotels especially the 'Sol Antillas'. The kids club, although 'supposed' to be free had a charge for most activities therefore not free.
OVERALL: Had a great holiday in Magaluf but would never go back to the Majorca Beach which did not only fail to live up to our expectations of a 3* plus but had very little atmosphere. The only good thing about the hotel was we met a really nice family (who were also complaining at the time) and our children made great new friends.

| said: This was my 2nd visit to this hotel, went in 2004 when Iberostar owned it.
Arrived in July 2005 reception staff not very friendly, after standing in a very long queue we got our room key. We're delighted to get a room with a sea view, on the way to our room corridor was very smelly, stunk of sewereage.
My daughter and myself decided to go to the evening entertainment we had just sat down when the chair she was sitting on collapsed, another holiday maker informed us that was the fourth chair that had broken that week.
The next day we decided to go to the pool which was freezing as it was shaded by trees and the baby pool was covered in leaves that had fallen, and it was not cleaned out until the next morning, there is no lifeguard. My eldest daughter was there with 2 small children, sat on a sunbed and caught her leg in the side and got a nasty cut.
3 days into the holiday the hotel started to fill up with 18 year olds, you could no longer play in the childrens pool as they were in there playing with balls, and one time I had to take my 3 year old grandchild out as it hit her on the head. The swearing was disgusting and the entertainment had to be taken inside on a night as they were throwing eggs at people sitting outside. At the end of the first week they had aquired bb guns and were shooting them from the balcony, I reported this to reception, they did nothing,I made an official complaint to the reps, her reply was "well it is their holiday as well" Needless to say the reps are a waste of space, most of them spent more time in the pool than the holidaymakers.
Food not too bad, tasted worse, room clean, most of the staff quite friendly, everything on the doorstep, supermarket over the road, Bunnys, very very expensive, as with supermarket in hotel.
Plenty to do, beach clean, good resort for people with children.
Iberostar allocated it to families only in 2004, Thomas Cook let anybody in. The second week of our holiday they had to send for the big bosses to come from London as there was too many people complaining.
I would go back to Magaluff the resort is great, would I go back to this hotel "DEFINiTELY NOT" NEVER.

| said: Hey there just got back from this holiday today 31st July 2005 had a half board with this one and what a mistake that was.
Where do I start - let's go on the whole of the hotel 1st, when we arrived you think WOW not bad, when we stepped in thought I was going to collapse. The reception area was boiling hot and everyone’s rooms were mixed up which created a huge problem.
We got to our room, can't complain, stayed at the 6th floor top part of the other side of the hotel which had a whole sea view and a lovely view of the hotel opposite 'Sol Antillas'<--(gorgeous hotel). Anyway the room was boiling and when I rang reception they said air conditioning is on at specific times e.g. 19hrs-00hrs then the whole night struggle as there’s no air outside and found that even sleeping on the balcony didn’t help. Got attacked by the mosquitoes whilst doing that, when I complained to the Thomas Cook reps they were NOT interested fobbed me off totally which was totally out of order!!
SWIMMING POOL: Well forget it you NEVER get this as this is for the SAME old people who wake up early hours of the morning to put their towels down. Who don’t even use the pool but leave them there for the sake of it. The pool itself is TINY not enough for the amount of people there and plus there’s NO lifeguard there too. I walked past this pool several times and yesterday upon leaving overheard people complaining that somebody had done the doings in the pool.
What we found was by walking across the beach we used the 'SOL ANTILLAS' hotels swimming pool they had about 5 pools all with a lifeguard and enough for others to use, and the swimming pools were heated too which was great!!
FOOD- The food is like SCHOOL DINNERS, lots of selection to eat NOT HEALTHY, best bet is to do SELF CATERING here as you get a fridge and kitchenette, and not need to pay 49 euros for the week to hire a tiny fridge for 2 cans of coke. Plus there’s LOTS of restaurants nearby too!!!! Plus in the canteen you have to pay for ALL DRINKS with half board EVEN water!!!!!!!!!!
SHOWER-If your unlucky like us and almost 90% of people who ALSO complained about this then ud be lucky to even get in it. You have this shower curtain which sticks to you and the water is leaking everywhere as the shower is tiny and therefore our room flooded. All our towels given were used to mop up our floor and the same for the others! Also Thomas cook didn’t care about that they said they couldn’t do anything (what a surprise).
ENTERTAINMENT- This hotels entertainment isn’t for couples or young people it's more for families with children which is a shame. I found also by going to 'SOL ANTILLAS' their entertainment was great all sorts for everybody there.
HOTEL ROOMS: They are small and being a couple all they did was push up TWO beds together and found that we were falling through the gap and they need NEW mattresses too. AIR CONDITIONING that works night time!! There’s a safe which you have to pay for and a TV which if you have a SANYO remote control take it with you, you can watch TV for free....
Apart from that had a great hotel thanks to 'SOL ANTILLAS' if I had a choice I'd never go the the Majorca Beach hotel ever again. I'd go to any Sol hotel, they're fab.

Situated on the beach so no long walks to the beach.
Kids club which is great for when the heat gets to much. Entertainers fantastic, no reason to go elsewhere for entertainment.
Rooms basic, clean and tidy.

| said: The hotel was great! The staff at reception were very friendly and spoke good english-so communication was quite easy.
If you had a problem then they'd sort it for you. The waiters were kept busy but always had a smile for you and in the bar in the evenings always made sure you had a drink.
The entertainment team were great with the kids and put on great shows. The hotel itself was nice,it was always clean and the maids called daily.
There is a shop situated at the hotel, which sold everything. The were two pools outside-but they were basic. I never used the large one but my daughter used the childs pool, which was constantly cold due to the fact that there were large trees shading it from the sun.
There is a snack bar there for lunch but i thought it was rather expensive. The food itself was nice but you can get bored by it after two weeks of eating it.

| said: Wanted a nice quite break and this is exactly what we got, the resort was reasonably quite as it was September but plenty to do, we booked flights and hotel separately which made it cheaper (would recommend), got taxi from hotel and there is a taxi rank directly opposite the hotel.
When we arrived at hotel it was late at night and took a while to check in, as the man on reception was very incompetent and pretended he couldn’t speak English! But the room was lovely. I don’t expect this man is still there as everyone complained about him, but the rest of the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble.
We hired a fridge, which was well worth it kept all our drinks nice and cool!! Our room was lovely and spacious and even had a Hair Dryer in the bathroom!!
The hotel is above a doctor’s surgery, which is handy, and there is a bus stop directly outside the hotel, the bus service is very efficient and cheap, great if you want to go to Palma for the day, which is well worth a visit!
We found that the supermarket prices varied greatly the further you walk the cheaper they get!! There is one opposite the hotel called Bunnys and is one of the most expensive (absolute rip off!!).
Anyway the Hotel is excellent only let down is the pool (old square shaped), great for everyone especially families, located in an excellent position directly on the beach (for more hotel details look on Iberostar website), excellent staff and entertainment team all very good with the children, and now the best part the FOOD, 10/10 Majorca beach for the food, I was concerned when I booked because my sister is vegetarian but I had nothing to worry about, the best vegetarian selection I have seen at any hotel (they have a special vegetarian area and a special children’s area). All in all we had a great holiday and will defiantly return an EXCELLENT HOTEL don’t hesitate to book you will have a great time.

Complained about this and was moved to sea view room. What a difference. This made the holiday.. Had we been stuck at the back of the hotel with the views of buildings etc it would have changed the holiday experience.
Food good. Never bothered with teh bingo, not our cup of tea.
Location right on the beach which was fantastic.
Great holiday. Cannot stress enough the importance of being on the sea side of the hotel. Worth kicking up a bit of a stink to get good room.

| said: We've just got back from staying a week in the Majorca Beach in June 2005.
The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the main strip, or the more quieter bars/restaurants. The beach is right at your front door, you can practically walk in your bikini from your room to Magaluf beach.
The Hotel itself was very nice, some of the staff were very friendly, others not so, but they are very few!
The rooms are basic but clean, 2 single beds together (usual), TV, bathroom, desk, balcony, air conditioning just about works, but not sure if that was just our room, we made do anyway. I saw no creepy crawlies or signs of dirt, maid service every day incl Sundays
We had a balcony facing opposite side of beach, which was great because after being at the beach you could go back and relax on the large balcony, and get the sun for a few more hours
It was a very mixed hotel, with older couples, families, groups of males/females etc, it wasn't noisy, but the atmosphere wasn't stuffy either.
We were half board, but only ate there a couple of times, and the selection from what we sampled was very good, breakfast was 10/10 and the evening meal had loads to choose from.
There is so much nice restaurants, Mexican/Chinese etc nearby we chose to sample those more frequently, but if your on a budget then the hotel is more than good enough.
If your looking for luxury then this isn't your place, but if it's good location, basic, clean then this place is spot on.

The food was out of this world and the menu was changed daily. On the saturday night we were even given steak!
It is located just outside the strip area which was fine at night, we enjoyed 7 nights of peaceful sleep.
We only went down to the entertainment a couple of times as it wasn't that great. Better entertainment is offered nightly in other pubs with professional acts free of charge if you are prepared to run the gauntlet with the pr's!
I certainly would use this hotel again.

The staff were okay never seen much of them, bar expensive, a dash was 70p, a bit to much, if we were offered this hotel again at the price we got, would go back, it is about 7 out off 10. hope this helps, the location is excellent, quiet enough, turn a corner and everthing is there, the beach is 5star very clean, sloping sands lead you into the water which was fab, my son who is wary off water loved it.

| said: Hotel was in a good location with a view of both Magaluf and Palma Nova bays from the balcony and located directly beside the beach.
Whilst, being at the far end of Magaluf made it peaceful for sleeping purposes it was not 'out in the sticks'. It was also but a short walk to any kind of entertainment or eating establishment. A particularly nice touch was on my husband's birthday. I had bought him a card which he left on the bedside cabinet in our room. On our return after a trip out we were pleasantly surprised to find the hotel management had left a bottle of wine and two glasses for us to celebrate - a thoughtful touch indeed!
Yes, we would return here with no hesitation.
