| said: This is our first visit to Florida and will defo be back, This hotel is in a fantastic location (smack bang in the middle) of International Drive.
The Staff are very friendly, the hotel is cleaned every day. The room's are basic (but let's face it your in Florida to go to theme parks, not to look at the quality of the room's). the hotel is for getting your head down at night for a long earned rest.
Teh food in the hotel is okay but you will eat out most of the time.
It's the first time i have driven abroad and i was a wee bit worried at first, but after about 10mins it's no problem.
I won't try to spoil it by telling you where the best place to go or the best place to eat is!!! everywhere is fantastic.IT'S AN ADVENTURE.

I was pleasently surprised......yes, it could do with a lick of paint but apart from that it was fine. Room was cleaned every day if you wanted and also clean towels daily. I would stay here again as the location was fantastic. If you're worried about staying here, please don't panic as you will be so busy during the day that a place to get your head down is all you need and this hotel is perfect.

| said: I have been to florida 5 times now and alway stay on international drive but this was the first time in the quality inn international.
The hotel was no different from most hotels on i drive the rooms could do with a lick of paint but they were not dirty.
We only sleep in the room anyway we are always out during the day so as long as it is clean it is fine.
We never had any problems getting a bed around the pool so that was good.
We never had much to do with the staff but the ones we did were fine.
The rooms were cleaned everyday
To be honest if you go to florida to sit in the room and and worry about what colour the wall are then there is something very wrong.
The room also had air con which was great as in may florida is ver hot.

| said: Stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and it was good, we had a room overlooking the gardens, very quiet, very clean and I was happy to come back again.
However, this time was very different, the rooms have been re-decorated but are now very drab and lack colour.
The room we had this time was on the ground floor overlooking the car-park entrance on International Drive and also suffered from the smell of the fish restaurant kitchen directly opposite. It was very noisy in the evenings until very late, and the "garbage" truck would arrive at 3:30am every morning breaking all noise limits there could be!!!
The room was reasonably clean when we arrived but the carpet was stained and looked drab like the rest of the room. There was a daily maid service but during the 2 weeks we were there the room was only cleaned well twice, on the days our maid was off, on other days the bathroom was not cleaned and the carpets not vaccummed. As far as I could see all the maid did on most days was made the beds and replaced towels. We had to ask for the free coffee to be replenished on 3 days as the maid forgot. The coffee maker was not cleaned in all the time we were there.
The restaurant is not bad, but much better value for money can be had at other restaurants on International Drive, Ponderosa and Sizzler well worth a visit for good value and excellent food.
We stayed away from the hotel bar, 2 days before we arrived the ceiling had collapsed during a storm and the carpets were very wet and smelly, it was dark and dingy anyway.

| said: Ive stayed at this hotel both times when visiting florida. I love this hotel as it is great for family visitors, theres a games room for the children and a nice bar for the adults. The staff were great and I have made a couple of good friends with the staff that work their, I enjoy going back to this hotel and I still keep intouch with the staff i made friends with. The rooms were good, not a 5 star room but i wasnt really worried about that as most of the day i was out in the parks and then in the lobby when i was actually at the hotel, the room was just a place 2 sleep and get ready at the end of the day. The hotel is also in a great location, you are so close to everything you could need...you can walk to resaurants, shops, stores, and wet n wild. There is also a walmart on sand lake road which is a 2 minute drive from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to aybody who is looking for a good family holiday in orlando.

| said: We have stayed here before and had no hesitation in returning, however we got off to a disappointing start.
The rooms have been redecorated and they are now quite drab. We were allocated a room and were not happy with the bathroom - it looked very old and dirty. We asked to move to another room and were shown a room in the 3000 building which was much better.
The toilet was blocked on the evening and we called for maintenance the following morning. They arrived very quickly and fixed the problem. When we returned later that day the toilet was blocked again. Again maintenance came and fixed the problem quickly. In the morning, the toilet was blocked again and we realised it wasn't the toilet itself but a problem further back. We were offered another room but decided to give them another chance. This time the problem was fixed and stayed fixed!
The room was cleaned daily and was of a very high standard. I left a tip in the room and as housekeeping weren't sure if it was for them they left it. I printed slips to put with the money so that they knew it was for them.
The only complaint we have with the hotel is the front desk staff. They are surly and unhelpful, but considering that we didn't need to use them very often it wasn't a problem.
We found that the keys (electronic cards) had a habit of not working for no apparent reason and had to get them re-activated every week.
The rest of the staff at the hotel were great and we would have no hesitation in staying here again.

The hotel is in a good location with plenty of resturants with in walking distance. We only had one breakfast in the hotel there were better places to eat. The staff were ok and dealt with any thing we asked. There was an I trolley stop near the holiday (make sure you have the correct money as you can not travel without). We did hire a car as getting to the parks was a little difficult. Best outlet shopping is premium towards Disney and the florida Mall is great for indoor air conditioned shopping.

We had been before a few years ago but this time were in different block near the I4 took a few days to get used to traffic noise at night.
Had dinner one night, buffet with carved meats, but have huge choice on doorstep Red lobster Chili's.
Breakfast was at Golden corral over the road great choice $6.99 each dont want to see another pancake for a while.
You are right near all the shopping malls the best one being Premium Outlet Mall past Sea World.
Hotel check in was quick and easy staff friendly, room clean everyday.

| said: Just returned from the Quality inn international where we stayed for two weeks.
We had a room on the inside by the smaller of the two pools and despite the hotel being right on international drive, I4 and next to the "largest" McDonald's in the USA, we heard no noise, the space shuttle even took off while we were there and we didn't here that either.
The room was cleaned every day and we had enough of every thing and the maid even cleaned up after my daughter was sick on the bed. We found a tip of 2 dollars seemed to surface and had no problems.
We found the hotel staff very pleasant and always friendly even the security guards on the gate everyone always said hello when passing by.
As our children are only 7 and 3 we didn't sample the entertainment plus we were tired after long days in the parks.
I would definitely stay here again it was in perfect spot and near to Universal, Sea-world and Wet n Wild (free transport was available to these) and was a short drive to Disney Bout 15 minutes.

| said: It was our first visit to Florida and we are so glad we picked this hotel it was in a good location for all the parks; right in the middle of I drive.
We didn’t have a car so it was very convenient and close to all the main nice restaurants e.g. Ponderossa!
We were checked in within a couple of minutes of arriving at the hotel and our room was over looking the pool.
The room was spotlessly clean and the maid came every day even if we were in the room she would come back later leave a tip each day it was worth it. Can’t comment on hotel food we never ate there, there is too many other places to eat in the area.
We did use the bar on several occasions it was ok but the entertainment wasn’t the best! Bar too small to have live singers!
We were very dubious before we went after reading some reviews but we wouldn't hesitate on staying in this hotel again.

| said: The Quality Inn International provided us with an inexpensive base for a 2 week holiday in Orlando. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were checked in within 5 minutes, despite their being more than 20 people arriving at the same time as us. We were quickly provided with our room keys and pointed in the right direction.
We were allocated room 379, which was on the lower floor facing the pool/gardens, which was pleasant. We were fairly close to International Drive itself, and were initially concerned there could be traffic noise, however, this was not the case at all, once in the room, we did not experience any noise issues at all, not even from the neighbours on either side with their children!
The room itself was large, clean and provided us with everything we needed for our 2 week stay. There was an iron, ironing board, microwave, large fridge with small freezer compartment and also a coffee machine (which we never used). The rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard, always with plenty of clean towels left for you. The air conditioning unit in the room was a welcome relief from the very hot weather, albeit it could get a little noisy if left on the highest setting for cool air, but it did not prevent us from sleeping in any way. There were no issues with bugs in the hotel room or grounds.
We ate in the hotel restaurant once for convenience, and it was fine, $11 dollars for "eat all you can" buffet - but not as much variety and quality as the other restaurants on International Drive. Plenty of families chose to eat at the hotel though as they provided a pay for 2 adults, get 3 children free package, which I guess is a tempting offer for those with children to keep costs down.
The location of the hotel was perfect for what we were looking for - 20 mins to Disney, 5 mins to Universal and 10 mins to Sea World. All of the major shopping malls were no more than 20 mins away. We took a no driving option, so relied on local transport and taxis to get around, which was fine. This hotel does provide shuttle transfers free of charge only to Sea World and Universal, however, they get booked up very quickly and run at the most bizarre times. You are also having to stay at the park until late PM if you use these shuttles. The shuttle to Disney from the hotel was $14 return per person per trip. There is a much cheaper alternative than this, which I will list under the resort review for those of you not driving and looking to save some dollars.
I have rated the hotel staff "4" as we never experienced any issues - they were polite and courteous when we interacted with them.
Entertainment we have rated as "1" as we did not see any. There was a small arcade with games for the children. On the very infrequent times when it rained, most people took to their rooms for a nap. If we were to return to Florida again we would stay at this hotel again, for the price it met our needs perfectly

| said: Arrived at the hotel and was impressed with the security. Was only allowed through once the guard confirmed our reservation.
If you have hired a car its easy to get to from Sandford airport and in a good place for getting to the parks. We were quickly checked in and pleased to find our room overlooking the gardens and found it quiet.Beware that some of the rooms overlook I4 interstate which would be constently noisey, but we were lucky.
The room was well equipted with 2 double beds(clean),iron and ironing board, hairdryer.coffee machine and t.v.Unfortunatly the rooms are very dated(Dont get me wrong...they were clean)and hated the fact there was carpet on the floor.
The free safe was a bit dodgey looking but we took our chance and it was secure enough.Dont forget to leave a tip for the maid each day and she will give you extra towels and coffee!(We always left 2 dollars).
Didnt like the fact there was no balcony.Window didnt open either so room can feel a bit clostraphobic. The shop on site is expensive compared to off site shops.Games room is rubbish(as quoted by my 10yr old)as games are old.
The on site bar is also rubbish.
No atmoshere and staff unfriendly. The on site restaraunt was ok but again more expensive than other all you can eat buffets.Loved the swimming pools being open till 10 at night and having 2 pools we never found them crowded.Only a couple of parasols though so shade was impossible.
To sum up this hotel it is in a ideal position for the all the parks. If you just want to be out of the hotel all day and use it to sleep in then its good value for money. But there is nothing in the way of entertainment day or night and if you get a day where it rains all day heavly (so going out an about is impossible) you may find yourself stuck in a drab and dreary motel room watching Judge Judy or disney channel all day!
I wouldnt go back to this hotel or I-Drive just because of the fact there is much nicer areas in Orlando and even nicer areas in the rest of Florida. But please dont worry if you have booked this hotel.
If all you need it for is a base for the parks its fine.

| said: The hotel is in a great position for easy access to the amenities on I-Drive.
It was clean and the room was cleaned every day.
We received a voucher on arrival from the on site Virgin Rep for some free meals in the hotel. We used these and the food was fine, although not in the same league as some of the other buffet places we visited.
The 'Topsy Turvy' bar sold pizza's in the evenings, which were rather good though.
We had no problems with the hotel staff during the stay.
The entertainment was poor. The bar was small and the live acts were not great, although some made an effort with the children.
The pool areas were clean and never crowded and the staff were very vigilant when a storm threatened and they told everyone to vacate the pool.
The pool was still being heated until almost the end of our holiday, which was lovely - like a warm bath!
All in all this is a great base for a holiday, not ultra modern but certainly more than adequate.

| said: The hotel is a typical 'motel' style hotel with two large blocks each with its own small pool. The down side is that the rooms are rather dated with large windows and footpaths right outside which give little privacy. The hotel backs onto the interstate highway which is dreadfully noisy, the front is onto I-drive not far from wet and wild.
You can choose between smoking and non smoking, rooms are cleaned and beds made everyday.
Food on-site is terrible with the usual all you can eat fry ups which is quite expensive compared to other places on I-drive.
There is a free shuttle bus to universal but we often experienced problems in getting on board due to it being over booked on several occasion.
This hotel will suit those who are not fussy about their surrounds and who taking sleeping pills on a night to drown out the noise. I suppose you get what you pay for and as this motel was cheap I suppose it satisfied the purpose of somewhere to sleep. Wouldn't use it again as we hated I-drive which was tacky and fully of chat shops selling chat souvenirs
Bus drivers often refer to the hotel as Low Q which stands for 'low quality' as there are other quality named inns on international drive, such as 'high q' which is used for the quality plaza

| said: Best thing about this hotel is it's location, right on the centre of I-drive next to the I trolley stop 22. I went with Virgin holidays and they have an on-site help desk/rep service open 8-9am and 4-7pm 7 days a week which was great for advice.
Rooms are large, have all things you will need, if you prefer tea to coffee though you will need teabags as they only provide coffee in the rooms (PG tips are on sale in the shop at the hotel though!). Only one complaint is that the water in the shower wasn't always as hot as I'd like it in the mornings, this said on the day we left at 6am it was fine! The hotel is quite old looking from the outside but the rooms are up to date and they had all the facilities we needed, including a free bus to Universal Studios and a bar open until 2am!
Only had breakfast in the hotel 2 mornings during our fortnight, good selection, buffet style. Both 2 Pools were heated, so much so that there was steam coming off them, so even though the weather was not brilliant there were people swimming every day until 10pm.
Most reviews covered all room facilities, we only watched the TV to check the weather as they have a 24 hour weather channel which gives you local weather every 15 minutes which is great for planning your activities.
The taxi drivers and I-trolley drivers refer to this hotel as the "Low Q" - never quite found out what this meant though!

I would not stay at his hotel again because it is very basic but it is convenient for the parks. It backs onto I4 and the front is on International Drive.
The rooms were clean and in typical motel style and very dated but were ok for the 4 days that we were in Orlando. However, next time we would choose a more upmarket hotel with more facilities.

| said: We found the hotel to be exactly what we needed for this type of holiday. It was clean and well maintained with lots of security.
The staff we found, were polite and friendly, especially Amy from guest services, who arranged all the transport and tickets to the theme parks.
We stayed in room 1442 which is away from the main block and overlooked some beautifully kept gardens and a lovely pool which was fenced and gated for saftey. Good if you've got little 'uns.
The rooms themselves were a fair size for a family. Two queen size beds and storage really, but I guess your out all the time so you dont need a palace!
The rooms have got a fridge, microwave, coffee making facilities and t.v. they are cleaned everyday.
We only ate in the hotel resturant a few times as we found it a bit more expensive than the resturants on I-Drive for more or less the same food.
The restaurant staff were lovely and can't do enough for you, but I found the food itself to be of poor quality. We didn't really see any entertainment.
There is a bar called the topsy-turvy bar on site but we never used it as we were all so shattered after our long days, but some people did and said it was o.k.
Our son who is 13 really enjoyed the fact there was a little games arcade too.
All in all we would definatley be going back to this hotel.
It was great!!!

The rooms, which had two large double beds, bathroom, TV, microwave and plenty of storage for clothes etc, were very clean and plenty large enough for the 4 of us. Also provided in the room was a hairdryer, an iron and board and coffee making facilities.
Staff at this hotel were excellent. Always polite, always there when you needed them. They couldn't do enough for us. They all made time to speak with our children and made us feel very welcome. Rooms cleaned, beds made and fresh towels on a daily basis.
The hotel has a laundry room, excellent breakfast facilities, a shop, telephones and information service. It also has 2 swimming pools with as many towels as you need provided free of charge.
The location is at the junction of Sand Lake road, and International Drive, with the Interstate 4 close by. We stayed on the Sand Lake, Interstate 4 side. Other persons writing reports have complained about road noise on this side of the hotel. We did not find the road noise a problem at all.
I would recommend this hotel and have no complaint to make. Excellent value for money.

Slap bang in the heart of I-Drive all the restaurants and shops were within easy walking distance of the hotel.
The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis but the maids sometimes forgot to leave coffee on a couple of occasions and cups on another couple of occasions. No need to do your ironing before leaving the uk as all rooms surprisingly came with an iron and board! If you require a smoking room let the staff know on checking in as most rooms are no smoking and after a 10 hour flight we lugged our luggage from one room to another.
If you like sunbathing in peace and quiet take some ear plugs as the bushes around the pool have speakers in them playing a CD circa 1980`s on a continuous loop.
At the end of the day though great place to stay as you only sleep there because you spend most of your time at the parks.

Best location in I/Drive ,central but very busy with cars at teatime, the hotel has a resterant + bar and games room. the pool is open till 10pm which is very busy with kids and it tired them out even more.
The hotel is right next to the largest Macdonalds which is unique and excellent, The only thing I didn't like was the parks are getting very busy 2 many people over stretched 1-2 hr wait for some rides, fast passing a waste of time if not early to parks, hulk ride booked 1pm come back at 7pm ,so go early food excellent and cheap all you eat $3.99 buffet everywhere ,will go back but late season, not high.

Pools were nice and you could always get a sunlounger.
We didn't hire a car but Virgin run an excellent transportation service, and we got their minibuses to all the theme parks.

| said: Just got back on Saturday 27 November, we stayed on the sixth floor facing the pool a little noise coming from the i4 but soon got used to it, people I spoke to who were facing sand lake road and the i4 said it was very noisy, and more so on Saturday nights with the cruisers parking on the garage fore court music blaring out till early morning, one couple complained and was moved to quieter side.
Breakfast buffet good and the evening meal was very good go in before 7 and get 2'nd meal half price. Only one gripe I suppose is the maids they did keep the rooms clean but the complimentary coffee and condiments and cups, some days you got half a dozen cups no coffee, then condiments no cups, what ever you left out was cleaned away so we had to hide what left. So after about 3 days we had enough to make coffee.
The guest services in reception were very good as well much more helpful than the travel reps, we wanted to go down idrive to dolly partons show free drinks so I was not going to drive told by travel rep trolley bus does not go down that far so I would have to go with them at a cost of $68 guest service said they did go that far down, so got tickets for $45 and went on the trolley bus 75cents.

| said: We have stayed in this hotel twice. We stayed in 2000 and then went back in 2004. We really enjoyed our stay. When looking at the brochure the hotel doesn't look the best but is has everything you could possibly need on a holiday and the rooms are comfortable and clean.
They have a 24 hour reception, cust service booth (you can get anything there from park tickets to restaurant bookings) a shop, restaurant, bar serving drinks and snacks, gift shop and arcade. There is laundry facilities, ice machines, secure parking (car park attendant 24hrs)there is two swimming pool a little bit small but when your in orlando you don't really get a chance to lie around the pool. The rooms had two double beds, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron & ironing board, en suite, television (you can order films to your room at reception)
We didn't see any of the entertainment so I can't comment on this part of the hotel. We drank in the bar one night and they had someone singing and playing the piano and he was good.
The rooms where cleaned everyday and the grounds of the hotel where spotless. The location of this hotel is ideal it is on International drive and is in the middle of everything, restaurants, bars take away's, shops everything on your door step and the I ride stops right outside the hotel which will take you either end of I - Drive (one end Betlz shopping & the other Seaworld)
The restaurant does breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet style. We only eat in this once for breakfast the first time we stayed (2000) but I was nice and a lot to choose from.
The staff are very helpful, polite and friendly they couldn't help you any more if you had a problem of needed advise. When we were there the second time there was a hurricane and the hotel dealt with the suituation brilliantly you were told what to do and what not to do and after wards the opened the restaurant and shop even though they had lost electricity and where only running on generater + the next morning the staff had a clean up and after a few hours you wouldn't have even known there was a hurricane.
Altogether this hotel is ideal for people who want to be central to all the parks and be on international drive. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone and will definetley be staying there myself again.

| said: Hotel rooms were basic but very clean and practical. The buffet style restaurant was very good, the breakfast was especially good. During Hurricane Jeanne we were fed, this was great because most hotels in the location closed their restaurants.
The hotel is in a superb location for all the parks and the restaurants and bars, and for shopping too.
Most people just use their hotel as a base, you really can't get much better, superb value.

| said: This was our third year in a row visit to the Quality Inn on I drive. The hotel is one of the cheapest you will find in all brochures the reason we stay as we just want a base and a bed.
I wouldn't stay any where else, the hotel is clean, maids re made beds even when we had tried to make them ourselves, food in restaurant good however value and choice at Golden Corral just across the road a lot better.
Location is fantastic, we don't like the idea of being trapped on a Disney hotel site, so this fab, near restaurants and shops and buses (I ride trollies and Lynx buses) a must for us as we do not drive, shuttle buses to parks leave from this hotel.
Hotel staff great, especially at the information desk, very helpful.
The only down to this years holiday was the hotel bar singer, too loud and not what you want to listen to especially when you want to chill out after a long mad day in the parks.
We will definitely stay in this hotel again.

| said: We stayed in this hotel for two weeks at the end of sept beginning of october 2004. The hotel is in a very good location and was easy to find from the airport. The staff were very good (especially during hurricane jeanne!)the room was cleaned every day with clean bedding and fresh towels as well.
The food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced, although most days we went to the ponderosa (down I' drive about 400yds) for breakfast (all you can eat for 4 dollars :-)). All in all a good hotel base for a trip to Orlando. Would stay there again.

| said: Stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks, myself, my husband and our two children in one room and my parents in the room next door, thought the facilities were very good and the location was very good, but after about a week into our stay we noticed an unusual amount of insect bites on the children when the adults had none, we discovered towards the end of the holiday that the kids bed was infested with bed bugs, and they were covered from head to foot in red itchy sores, the hotel staff were most unhelpfull, particulary the hotel manager and just made the whole experience even worse, we took pictures of the children and the bugs and we are informing the authorities in florida as this is just not exceptable, I would never stay in this hotel again and if anyone else decides to risk it just check your matress first!

| said: I stayed here with my Husband and we both thought the location was excellent, just a few minutes away was I-Drive, where you could get an I-Trolley up and down I-Drive, this was a very cheap and efficient way to get around.
Taxi's are quite expensive though. The bar in the hotel was great, had a jukebox, pool table, happy hour etc, didn't eat in the hotel restaurant so can't comment on that. Room was clean with big TV and pay per view movies. Room was cleaned/beds made every day. Had a room facing the pool on the ground floor and found it to be very quiet.
Hotel provided free shuttle bus to Universal Orlando, which we made great use of! Overall, thought this hotel was great and would stay here again.

| said: Stayed at Quality Inn in May. This being our 2nd year we knew a bit more of what to expect.
Found the hotel very clean, no cockroaches to be seen at all.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Always room around the pool even when busy, and always plenty of towels.
Central location on I drive meant you could go up or down and not have to travel too far from your hotel. Got our I Ride tickets from reception and used them most nights instead of driving(so the driver could have a drink too)
Would definitely stay there again. Planning next year already.

Breakfasts in the hotel are very good and good value.
Free buses to universal are great as we did not hire a car. We also purchased trolley passes for the 2 weeks and so were able to go up and down I drive easily.
Hotel staff are not very friendly, but that was the only thing that was a minus. Would stay here again.

| said: After a very long flight we had the unfortunate time of having to stay in this filthy, noisy, grubby hotel.
The room was smelly and had vomit on the carpet, we asked to be moved (which we were) only to find our selves in an even noisier annex next to the I4 ~ after a night of no sleep we demanded to be moved.
The place is very run down and is not worth the money you pay for it.
For only a few pounds more a night you can get a much better class of motel/hotel and is well worth the money.
We paid an extra £120 ( for 19 nights) to stay at the Crowne Plaza which was superb.

| said: Stayed at this hotel in october 2002.
Hotel clean staff friendly, good location, but the interstate 4 does run just beside the hotel so if you get a room facing the street noise from the traffic is constant
trucks etc.
We had a room facing the interstate and the first night didnt get any sleep so we requested a room change the next day the staff were really helpful and changed our room that day.
Had a room facing the pool which was a lot quieter although the air conditioning unit in the room was very noisy.
Would stay again but there are much nicer hotels near by.
