| said: Brilliant location with shopping, restaurants and bars on your doorstep yet the noise doesn't carry to the hotel. Rooms are modern and clean. Pool area is clean with big sun beds, small by Spainish hotel standards but enough for most people as the beach is within walking distance anyway. Breakfast was adequate, usual continental fare. Nice bar attached to the hotel which fronts onto the street for watching the world go by. Staff are polite. Only one gripe...rooms next to the reception desk can hear every phone call (and there are a lot)but this only really bothered us because we were late risers.

| said: The Bourtzi hotel is lovely, very modern and extremely clean.
Our room looked onto the entrance to the hotel courtyard (room 405), the room was cleaned every day and the staff were friendly. It is only a 10 minute stroll down the main narrow street that leads to the harbour...a perfect location!
The layout of the hotel it also lovely, with lots of comfortable seating, allowing time to relax. There was a fridge in the room with glasses but no other facilities to prepare food...but who needs it with the amount of taverna's nearby!
The hotel leads to a bar called "Lobby" where the atmosphere is great!
There was little or no noise at night time. There was an option of air conditioning that i understand is at an additional cost.
We only had breakfast on one morning due to late nights, however the option of hot drinks and breakfast was good!
Due to the narrow and cobbled streets surrounding the hotel, our cases were collected by a truck from the airport on arrival and were at the hotel before we were! The same happened on our return journey which was great and hassle free!
The Bourtzi hotel is a hotel that we would return to and that we would definately recommend!

| said: We stayed in room 207. This has only half a balcony & overlooks the entrance to the Hotel. The hotel was very clean. The pool was one day mucky with wasps & other insects but otherwise was great to dip into when coming back from the beach. It was probably a bit to deep for kids but they did have a little pool for toddlers. Bar staff & hotel staff were not friendly, & very rarely spoke even to say good morning too. The Bar was also very expensive.

| said: Very clean hotel and centrally located. The hotel is run by a family, who are friendly without being intrusive. The pool and the pool bar are excellent - and we love the new furniture around the bar where you have breakfast in a morning.

Well positioned for restaurants and bars and busses to all the best beaches.

| said: The hotel is in a fab position a few mins walk from the harbour and even nearer to the shops & bars, but in a quiet little street (apart from motor bikes racing past)!
It is clean, rooms fairly basic but have fridges and safe.
Has a pool and pool bar, staff are friendly and the whole setting is great.
There is no entertainment as such, apart from the pool bar, but with everything on your doorstep it's no problem.
We are going back in July - recommended!
