| said: The hotel was in an excellent location, close to universal parks and near the I4 for the Disney Parks. The hotel itself was in need of a lick of paint and updating but was very clean with clean towels every day and beds made daily, sheets were changed 3 times. The pool area was great with a poolside bar where you could sit and relax after a long day at the parks or on a evening. Children could swim in the pool until late whilst we sat and had a drink or two. You could get a light breakfast with juice, coffe, fruit salad, muffins, cereal, enough to set you up for the day. Had a fantastic holiday and would definitely stay there again. the hotel was being refurbished so eventually it will be an excellent place to stay.

| said: Place could do with a lick of paint. It looks very worn and the staff can't really be bothered with you.
Great location though, no problem if just use it for sleeping, good for nothing else though.
If you can find somewhere else at the same price with better reviews I woulod use that instead.

| said: The hotel was good for the price of the holiday. The room was perfectly suitable for somewhere to put your head at night which is all we wanted.
The decoration is a bit scruffy but the facilities are being updated (the pool area was resurfaced while we were there).
Staff were helpful & friendly although most of the room service staff seemed to be Puerto Rican or Cuban so didn't understand English very well. If you could not make yourself understood it was easy enough to go to the lobby with your problem & they would sort it.
Situation was very good just off I-Drive with a 2 minute walk to the bus stop.
There was no entertainment apart from the pool bar playing a local rock radio station.

| said: We arrived at the hotel after a long flight and a 5 hour delay so we were very tired.
We checked in and went straight to our room. I was absolutly disgusted by the state of the room. There were holes in the wall. The carpet and walls were filthy. The air conditioning unit was hanging of the wall and the bedding was damp. We contacted reception and asked to move rooms.
When we arrived at the next room it was exactly the same. The whole room was damp and stunk. It was so damp that the paper on the bedside table was soggy. Also the front door was not secure so we had to put our suitcases up against it to make it more secure. We tried to contact the reps by phone but no-one was there. We slept in the clothes we arrived in and did not bother to unpack as everything in the room was dirty.
The next day we arranged with our rep to move hotels, but we had to pay for this, which I was not impressed with. On leaving the hotel we meet two other couples that were also leaving as they also felt that the hotel was awful. If we had stayed there I am sure we would have ended up ill with all the damp.
I would never stay at the hotel ever again not even for free. Even the rep agreed that the state of it was awful and that they had received quite a few complaints about it.
I know its cheap, but it is not worth it at all.

| said: We stayed here for 2 weeks and found that for the amount we paid for the hotel, we couldn't find fault with anything.
OK so it's not the Ritz, but you got a free breakfast each day if you wanted it (doughnuts, cereal, juice etc.,) maybe not the best food in the world but it got you started for the day ahead.
The room (No. 445,) was clean and tidy and you were given fresh sheets every day if you wanted them. The staff were efficient and friendly, they certainly did all they could to help us when asked, (we had a problem with our hot water not working which was dealt with immediately.)
Location wise, we were just off I-Drive by the Sheraton and found this ideal, not too noisy, not too quiet. We would definitely stay here again and we think that the hotel gets a lot of bad press, when put into perspective you get what you pay for, so if you want 4* you should pay 4* prices somewhere else.
Travelodge, we enjoyed our time with you!

| said: Arrived at Travelodge after a 9 hour flight and were all very tired. The staff at the reception were among the most arrogant I have ever meet.
The hotel lobby and outside it were absolutely filthy.
Then to our room, well what can I say this was a disaster. We thought the smell in the lifts and around the stairs were bad but this room was disgusting. The sink was in the bedroom, the bedclothes smelt of urine, the beds themselves were full of holes and had bad stains on them. The carpet was damp and mouldy. The fridge had dried in food stuck to it and a very large cockroach in it. The bath was filthy and still had hair in it from the last guest.
I would not ever recommend this place to my worst enemy.
