We landed in Dalaman at 1am local time. On the way to the hotel the driver stops at a service station for everyone on the coach to get off, grab something to eat, drink or use the facilities, which is a great idea. As the airport prices were very high.

We arrived at the hotel and were very very impressed with the hotel, the reception area was amazing, all glass and marble, the poshest hotel i have been too. we had a porter take our suitcases to our hotel room.

The hotel room was very nice, carpet floor instead of marble, which i prefered. We have a fridge with drinks in for our arrival. We had a TV which had Turkish Sky. And a few english channels. Not complaining about the TV as you go on holiday to see Turkey not watch TV.

The room was very clean, maids changed the bed sheets every night, changed the towels, washed down the balcony. A few nights we went to our room and the maids had made heart shapes out of the towels, which was very romantic.

The food was good. A big range of food, so if there was something you didnt like, plenty of other things to choose from. The waiters in the hotel were very efficent, they would show you to a table, get you drinks straight away, as soon as you have finished with your plate, it would be taken away straight away.

The drinks were there local beer called Efes, which was very nice. Spirits were good, very strong though, be warned.

The hotel staff were all very polite, all spoke excellant english, and very helpful.

The best part about the hotel was the entertainment. Me and my boyfriend loved it. Every day they would play games with the adults around the pool area, so if you or your partner didnt want to play, then you could watch easily from your sunbed. They played music throughout the day on loud speakers. The evening entertainment was excellant. You have to bare in mind that these entertainers get paid about £250 a month. they work such long hours, they work really hard to entertain evryone, and all because they enjoy there job. Other people have complained about the entertainment, but i dont think they have actually thought about how hard they work.

Every evening one of the entertainers will take a group of guests to Bar Street. You will get a free mini bus there, free enterance to nightclubs and free shots and a free mini bus home.

At the end of our 2 week holiday, me and my boyfriend my excellant friends with the entertainers and have kept in touch with them.

All staff and entertainers speak excellant english, and they are more helpful than the Thomson Rep!

We want to thank Jay, Jimmy and Deniz (entertainers) for the best holiday ever!

The worst part of our holiday was when we had to leave,it was a fabulous holiday except when my little 5yr old daughter lydia, sobbed all the way to the airport on the way home!the staff are amazing, hardest workers i have ever seen!i loved the food,it was more or less the same each day but had lots of choice, and i like chicken and vegetables and fruit and there was tons of it!the sun loungers were not the best as some were torn but i always put my towel over anyway so this didnt bother me,entertainment was fab especially the kids mini disco every evening at 9 o clock!lydia loved it (me too) its my first time going to turkey and i was reluctant due to all the horror stories you hear, but we returned again in october and had just as good a time even tho it was out of season, the workers in this hotel are run off thier feet and are so nice they cannot do enough for you !!! recommended holiday for familys,as myself and my 17yr old son are very fussy but we al want to return this year it was fab!!!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in August and it was totally full, it's a big hotel and we found great friends there, it was the best thing about it.

Here are the things that we really dislike:

-The most important thing was the air conditioning! It wasn't working in the hot Marmaris summer. We called reception and then the technical people about it for about 5-6 times and nothing was done! They said that some rooms has such problems with the air con. and ours is one of them!!! I don't understand why did they accept guests to that rooms???
Everyday we kept complaining about the air condition and they changed our room after the first week! Unbelievable....

-No air condition system in lifts and also corridors too! We heard many people complaining about the very hot air in the hotel.

-Fridge was not cold and also empty! Because it's not included the "all inclusive" system. So anyway if you want to drink something and pay for it, no drinks!!!

-Bath curtain was ripped

-No Dove soap or shower gel as they claim.

-They don't change the pillows or sheets. There were lipstick stains and little hairs on them.

-They use cheapest drinks in Turkey, you can never find a nice beer or vodka, all of them was cheap tasteless liquids, especially the disgusting fruit juices...eww

-Breakfast ends at 10:00 a.m. and if you still in the restaurant and keep having your breakfast, it's not matter for them, they take the dishes from your table and shut the lights in there, so rude!

-If something ends in any meal (it happened for the cheese in the breakfast for me) and ask them, they say "it ended"

-Aww and one of the most important problems was the sunbeds around the pool. The hotel was full, so there was hundreds of people in there but there was about 30-40 sunbeds around the pool, the big amount of them was broken so anyone takes them. You have to wake up at 4-5 in the morning and put your towels on them to take seats for yourself. It was what the bellboy told us!

So i don't recommend this awful hotel to anyone. But i recommend Marmaris, it's nice, little town, you can find many nice people around, nice nightlife, good music and good restaurants.

Spent 2 weeks in the pineta deluxe hotel didnt have any real problems with it.Ok it says its a 5 star but not a 5 star by british standards which some people need to be a bit more realistic about. The food was edible with quite a lot of choice but didnt change much in the 2 weeks.Wasnt enough sunbeds if u wanted one you would have to sleep on one all night!Saying that it didnt bother us as we went to the beach every day.Staff very friendly and work hard considering the amount of abuse they have to put up with from ignorant holiday makers which we witnessed! Our rooms were cleaned every day. Some people we think expect far too much considering what they are paying maybe they should try the Ritz the next time!

When we got to the hotel at 10.30pm on Thursday night there was nothing for us to eat. My 3 children were starving, so we had to go out to eat as soup was not being served untill 11.00pm.
On the first night the air con went off in the middle of the night so i got out of bed and turned it back on not impressed by my broken sleep. The room was boiling and when i went for a drink from my minibar found it was not cold. I complained of these main 2 things all week to the hotel staff, my rep and even phoned home to jetsun. Nothing was done about it. So i had 7 nights of broken sleep having to get up and turn the air con back on. It was not only my room, the hotel was obviously trying to budget its electric bill as every room in the hotel was turned off not only in the middle of the night but also at intervals during the day!
All week somebody was around reception area complaining about something. We found this quite stressful and never relaxed the whole time there.
There is no Dove handwash/shower stuff in the bathrooms as described just some smelly pink stuff.
The water in my room was yellow and sludgy on the sunday and monday no amount of complaining sorted this out! I had to shower in the room the other half of my family were staying in.
From the ever-so low chimney there was black soot falling onto the balcony so we couldn't go out with bare feet and if you went out with shoes on you would walk it in to the carpeted room and then into your bed.
In the 7 days we stayed my room was cleaned once. (The rooms were also dirty on arrival) The maid did not even give us clean towels or loo roll, we had to help ourselves from the trolley left lying around the fifth floor.
The hotel was overbooking guests and putting them up in its sister hotel pineta park for 2 days then bringing them over when a room was available.
Two couples had to share one room as the hotel was full. Two couples sharing double beds in one room!!
On the monday the reception area became full about midday as the chimney had leaked diesel over the pool area and over some guests and there belongings, causing uproar.
The staff/management on reception were so rude if you were complaining and the phone rang they would answer it and igonre you for a while. This happened many times to us and other guests.
On the wednesday a girl of about 12 years old cut her mouth whilst eating breakfast as there was a piece of glass in her egg. The blood was horrific.
The food was not edible. Whatevever was served for breakfast was given for lunch and whatever was left over from luch was given in the evening.
The entertainment was 4 people dressing up and playing with adults only.
My children were so bored, thank god for the pool.
We have travelled well and have visited Gran canaria, lanazarote, tenerife, dominican, jamaica, barbados, st lucia, crete, dubai, florida, egypt, portugal, majorca, italy, prague but never ever have i stayed in such appalling conditions. This was my first and last visit to Turkey. I would be to afraid other hotels there are like this one.
I wish i had taken time to read reviews like the ones on this site and saved myself and my family a stressful, boring week and of course the £2.439.50 we paid for the priviledge of this week.

When I and my family arrived at this hotel we were very pleased it looked very nice posh ad clean.
The food here was ok you don’t go hungry but they serve a lot of the same food every night.
The people who work here are ok but I find when you stay at smaller hotels the staff are a lot more friendlily and they get to know who you are and make more of an effort with you.
The entertainment was awful in the day they did pool games for adults (not children) and in the evening as far as I was concerned the was no entertainment for adults, the hotel have built a small dome in which they expect everyone to cramp them selves up in and while they do a children’s disco, its the same people everynite doing the same thing they do not hire entertainment in.

I and my family spent most of our time over the road at Dianas bar were the staff were excellent and friendly, and they had great entertainment every night.

I will never go back to Pinetta Park.

We have just returned from this hotel and although a Turkish 5* we had a superb holiday. The animation tema work so hard to entertain us all. The food has lots of choice and is very well presented. The staff are hard working and very friendly. Our only draw back was the air con in our first room, which the mangaer changed without a fuss!

All in all a bargain holiday whihc was full of fun. Just what we wanted and needed as a family.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. last year. for starters the air conditioning never stayed on so you had to keep getting up to turn the dam thing on.

The entertainment was virtually non existant. there were some games in the day then. asome kind of a show in the evening.

The food was ok but it was pretty much the same thing served up every night.

Also the bar caught fire whilst we were there. and none of the staff had a clue what to do. they said that they hd no training on what to do when there was a fire.

the 1 good point about this hotel was the free bus to and from Bar street every night.

The staff even though it was a 24 hour reception when you got back to the hotel at 2 in the morning no one was there. and when we asked to move rooms because of the rail around the balcony was falling off. they refused.

al so why have a mini firdge if the thing is never turned on. the clenliness of the rooms wasn't to bad but i have seen better.

The hotel's entertainment was poor and stopped too early with even the music cutting out before mid-night. The food was of good standard but was repetitive e.g. chicken and chips every night. The staff on the whole were more than satisfactory but with a few exceptions because of incidents with the waiters. Although every one has a view of all Turkish people being lechers on the whole they were funny friendly and had a good sense of humour.

Places that i would definately recommend are...
The Elvis Bar/Emporium Restaurant-
Next door to the hotel.
Good Food
Good Prices
Great Staff ( I love you Ozzie )

The Diana Bar-
Across the road from the Elvis bar.
Easy to barter with
Good entertainment (Especially Micheal Jackson)

The Magic House-
First bar on your right as you hit the beach front.
Good entertainment.
Best dancing.
Good Staff
Good for looking for totty.

We stayed in the Pineta Park Deluxe for 2 weeks and really enjoyed it. It's not really for youngster I would say, as there is very little in the way of entertainment and is more geared at kids.. However in saying that you have to go to the comedy sketches.. there not funny at all, but you will laugh just for the shear stupidness of it. The hotel is very grand and the main foyer is stunning to say the least. The rooms are clean and are regulararly cleaned, but the time in which your rooms are cleaned are really dependant on how many check outs there have been during that day, most times rooms were cleaned around 3/4pm, but they were very thorough and they regularaly change your towels and shower gel. There is a hair dryier in the bathroom with a shaving point, there is also a tv but there are only 2 english channels, so don't get excited. Food, a lot of people have said that there was not much variety, but this is simply not true... unless you go and eat every dish on your first day then of course you are going to be bored of the food, but there is ample selection for all tastes including vegetarian. If you enjoy your good ole fashioned english breakfast then this place is defo not for you, you will find it limited in most places to find any pork produce, however there are some bars and restaurants right outside the hotel that do provide english breakfast with bacon and sausages for about (5 TRY) £2. The hotel mainly emphisises on continental and there pork produce is processed, but chicken on the other hand is in abundance. If you like your melons as I do then you will be in your element. The staff in the hotel are reasonably friendly, but they can grunt a little and some don't look that interested in what there doing, but it must be hard work I guess to keep everyone happy. The location of the hotel is good, it's away from the main strip of Marmaris, but not too far away to walk to, it's takes about 5 mins walk from the hotel to hit the main strip.

Arrived with my 15 year old and despite paying adult prices for him he was placed in a childs bed.

Reception staff refused to change it as he was under 16.

The cleaning of our rooms never occured until 5:30 every day by which time we were back in the shower getting ready for the evening so we missed out.

For an all inclusive hotel there was not much to include. No evening entertainment to speak of. We only figured out going into town later in the week after speaking to other holiday makers. Wished I had a rep to represent me. Went on a trip to see the turtles only the trip showed us no turtles. Went on a trip to the water park and we were not picked up for 8 hours! This in a place with no shade!

Food was very much the same every night except for Wednesday which was Turkish night. Excuse me but I went to Turkey to experience Turkey and I wanted Turkish night every night. I thought it was a rip off for an all inclusive hotel.

Quite clean if you don't look at the wall paper in the loos though.

This hotel was very impressive. It was kept spotless the whole time we were there. The food was excellent, only losing points on breakfast as not a lot of choice for hot breakfast.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Self service for wine, soft drinks tea and coffee. Bar service for lager and spirits and the barmen will make you up a cocktail.

The entertainment was fine during the day, then in the evening the kids club songs usually followed by karaoke or bingo or nothing. We usually stayed in hotel until about 10 o'clock then went outside for some livelier entertainment. Some people stayed and played cards or dominoes and made their own entertainment.

It's a five minute walk to the main street in Marmaris. Although this hotel is situated at the quiet end the shops sell the same items as further along and prices similar. The beach was a further 3 minutes from the main street.

I stayed at the other end of the resort last year and I had family staying at the Pineta Park and on visiting them made the mistake of deciding to stay at this hotel this year.

The main reason being the place looks lovely and the rooms are nice , clean and very well presented. However, as a guest at the hotel it is a very different place to be now where to start so many complaint's for a start if you want a bed by the pool you had better be prepared for an early rise as people are claiming beds by 6am in the morning.

Now while we are on the subject of morning the breakfast is very poor and the same every day.

The hotel entertainment well I could call it poor but it was non existent.

Probably the worst thing about the way the hotel treated us was the fact we had to be out of the room by 1230 pm and we were not being picked up until 2130 so unless we forked over even more money, (60 lyre which only bought another 4 and half hours) then we had over eight hours to hang around with our cases which basically cost us a day of our holiday. This really cheesed me off as I had thought when I booked I had paid for 14 days not 13 and a half and I could see the point if they had full hotel and alot of new arrivals but the hotel was only around half full so there were plenty of rooms.

The all inclusive is a joke as the kids still had to pay for there ice cream.

After reading the reviews I was very concerned about what we were going to find. I was plesently surprised when we got to the hotel.

The reception area is lovely and very clean. Hotel bedrooms were spacious and again very clean. You get free shower Gel and Shampoo in all rooms. The rooms were cleaned daily and to a good standard.

Hotel location was good for us as we like to walk but if you like to be close to the centre of the action it could be to far from the centre of Marmaris. Hotel staff were always polite and could not to enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

The entertainment is very poor but we did our own thing. Daytime entertainment consisted of a couple of pool games and very loud music but the evening entertainment was virtually non existant unless you like watching the animation team dress up.

We found the hotel food reasonable, def not a four star hotel quality though. Breakfast was the worse but lunch and evening meal were ok and we always found something that suited all of us. I would not go back to this hotel as there are lots of other places in the world to visit but that is the only reason.

We had a fantastic 2 week stay and enjoyed every moment we were there.

We found the hotel very clean.

The rooms were very nice and had good sized balconies. The rooms weren't always cleaned. Towels were changed daily but looked were frayed at the edges from over use.

We felt that if the hotel was maintained properly it would be fantastic.

Unfortunately the chairs were becoming tatty like the towels. The balcony bar chairs had staples sticking out of them. After my skirt was ruined and our rep spoke to the management they did remove any they found dangerous.

The pools outside were nice but alot of the sunbeds and cushions were also in need of repair. We were disappointed that by this summer they were not very hot on removing towels that people had put on sunbeds with no intentions of using them until late after noon, so out of 14 days we had sunbeds only 4 times.

The food was magnificent the first week with plenty of choice, but by the second week it had gone down hill. My young daughter only ate dry bread rolls and chips the second week, but ate a good variety of food the first week.

The entertainment area was designed more for children and very uncomfortable. It was made up of large stone slabs with loose flat cushions on them, which after slipping on one and falling decided were dangerous.

My friend stayed at this hotel last year and recommended it. I do believe that if they take care to maintain it properly and replace worn out chairs and towels that it could be a great hotel.

The staff were mainly friendly and helpful and tried to do their best for us.

Pineta Park Delux. The hotel was a nice hotel suitated in a good spot between icemer and the marmaris port. The hotel was exceptionally clean with staff constantly working ensure it stayed that way.

Entertainment was good but only seemed to start after 2pm whereby the "entertainment team" did activities in and around the pool which appeared to engage alot of the customers.

Hotel Food ?? now the only downside of this hotel, the breakfast, lunch and dinner on occaions left a lot to be desired, which not that much of variety, but, also considering the heat element and the flies, there didnt appeared to be any thought to cover up the food with linen (on the cold stuff) on pull over trays with the hot food, consequently the flies constantly were having a good old buffet free of charge - they must have been in heaven on the sweet counter

Everything we've read on this site was confirmed on arrival.

Impressive hotel, very clean, close to the beach and excellent 1st impression.

The location is great and the staff could not do enough for us. Our shower broke on our 1st day there and was repaired within 10 minutes of reporting it to reception!

The only thing wrong with this hotel is the food. After a couple of days staying there, all of us became quite fed up with the same choices everyday and they do recycle their food so if its not eaten at lunch, it will turn up at dinner on some shape or form! In the end we did end up going out for meals so really would not stay there again on an all inclusive basis.

Drinks are also a let down, some cheap beer, cheap wine and that’s about it!

It also claims to have a good menu at pool site but really there is nothing offered apart from very questionable burgers and chips and a bit of salad, yet the all inclusive will say jacket potatoes, casseroles, fish and chips etc....

Entertainment is also poor but people are so nice and friendly you almost don’t mind this. Overall a great hotel to stay at but not for all inclusive as the food leaves a lot to be desired and there are flies everywhere!

I would go back on room only basis.

Well, just got back from an amazing holiday in Marmaris and in Pineta Park Deluxe Hotel.

I really enjoyed the holiday and so the the whole big party who went. We went for 2 weeks and were all inclusive!

The cleanliness of the hotel was spot on, couldn't find a speck of dust or a bit of dirt!

The food, great. Not to everyones taste but I really enjoyed the desserts, lots of fruit which was very tasty!

The location, also great. Not too far from Marmaris or the beach and enjoyed walking down 'Artistan's Street' daily and found good bargains and a few freebies!

Staff were great. Always friendly and even Musa even took my friend out and Sorraya took my other friend out for a double date. . . was a good night!

Entertainment. Ok a bit amateur acting here and there but what the hey. They did their best to get you going. A shout out to Jack, Ghockan, Sabrina, Thocken (of that's how it's spelt) and the Hackan! You were great fun!

I would definately stay in pineta Park again! Had a great holiday!

First time in this hotel but have visited this resort several time & this is by far the best hotel that we have stayed in.

The hotel, staff, facilities, room & food are all first class.

Many reports I have read say the food lacks choice but this is only if you expect to eat typical English food throught your holiday.

For us the highlight of our holiday was the cleanliness, good staff & excellent food.

Central for visiting Icmeler & Marmaris centres but good enough if you want a lazy holiday just to stay in the hotel as it has its own shopping centre, fittness centre, hairdressers & Turkish bath compete with various health treatments.

We will definitely visit this hotel again.

This hotel was the best that we have ever stayed in and looks amazing all around.

Staff are always going around cleaning and pool area scrubbed every night. Food was great we had a 5 and an 11 yr old in our group and they always found something they wanted to eat.

Staff were very friendly at all times considering the amount of hours they put in. The entertainment team do a good job keeping the kids and adults entertained all day and into the early hours.

We will definately be going back there again.

This is our second visit to Pineta park and we have booked again to go in august. The rooms and hotel grounds are immaculate with staff constantly litter picking after the, some, not so tidy holidaymakers!

Pineta park is in a fab location at the quieter end of mamaris, close to the beach and local shops. I just would like to stress to those holidaymakers that think if bacon and sausage breakfasts and chips and burgers make your holiday then dont go to Pineta!!

Pineta cater for all nationalities and my family and I enjoy trying all the different foods, I remember last august 2005 listening in amazment to 3 women going hell for leather at the poor rep and the same thing that kept coming up was the food is catered for other contries!!!!

If you want British food go to butlins.Considering the hours the staff put in they are so polite, hardworking and honest.

As a family we have been going to turkey now for 8 years and Pineta is by far the best hotel. If you are wanting to treat yourself to a nice piece of jewellery then get it from the hotel, its all a good price and there are some lovely pieces.

The entertainment staff are great and we all love gino!!! If I was to say only one negative about Pineta it would be that I don't agree with letting the guests from the sister hotel use the facilities as they probably haven't paid the same prices and thre isn't enough space for everybody x

This was the most impressive hotel I have ever stayed in. Absolutely stunning from the reception right through to the rooms. Beautiful marble everywhere, chrome, glass and even carpets make it a really luxurious stay. Its by far the best hotel that my partner and I have ever stayed in.
The grounds were quite small though and I was surprised at how small the pools were (2 right next to each other and a very small children's pool).

The food however was the worst I have ever eaten on an AI holiday! The salads etc did look nice and fresh but as we don't eat food like that they weren't any good. There were 4 hot selections each night and for example... Turkish meatballs (weird), really sloppy mashed potato, mushroom in pastry and broccoli. Even when they had grilled chicken breasts on the menu, they didn't really have the consistency of chicken, it was a bit strange really. No ice creams or anything for children - well not for free anyway. However this didn't spoil our holiday as we got it fairly cheaply so when we ate out we didn't mind. The emporium which is a small restaurant attached to the hotel but independently ran, was the place we ate each day. Reasonable and delicious with a varied menu. You may have trouble getting them to understand however as the waiters English is really poor!

We had a night flight for our return flight home and did the Dalyan checkout excursion which I thought was a fantastic idea. It was £35 each, we got picked up with all our luggage at about 8.30 in the morning. Got drove to Dalyan stopping off at a Stork farm on the way - pretty crap but you can use the bathroom and get a drink if you want. Then arriving at Dalyan river you leave the coach (and your luggage) and go on a boat trip to the mud baths which was great fun. You are then taken to a hotel for your lunch which is included and after food in the pineta park was lovely! Then taken back on the boat for a trip to a beautiful and peaceful beach. Then taken to the town centre by boat to meet up with your coach. Small amount of time to get some stuff from the local shops then taken back to the hotel you had your lunch in where you have your tea, again included. You then have your own room for a shower or a sleep and to change into your travelling home clothes, until you are collected for your much shorter airport transfer. Its a really good idea to make the most of your last day as you are normally just sat around waiting to go!

We would love to visit this hotel again, providing the food improved or we got a really bargain price.

Hotel very clean and rooms excellent. Lobby and staff very friendly and eager to help you.

The hotel has no views from pool area due to large hotel being built directly opposite which was covered with large black covers. There was no noise from workmen.

The food is passable but mainly catering for foreign visitors, so loads of cold ham, cheese, bread and salad. Some hot meals were quite nice. If you have family or children who are fussy forget it they would be very hungry.

The entertainment was awful. There were a handful of children & teenagers in the hotel but the music was either Hip Hop, Garage or Dance Music. There was nothing for the over 30's at all. We did complain but they ignored us. Night time entertainment was not good.

Try The Magic House down the road they are great or Faros Beach Bar further down the promenade where William will be nice to you the food is great and the entertainment better. Or try Jack and Ben at Club Sol next door they care about their visitors.

Pineta Hotel behind our hotel looked much better.

I have just got back form this holiday with my family and we fully enjoyed our time at the Pineta Park Hotel.

The cleanliness is outstanding. The rooms are cleaned at least every day and you can bet that you will be sleeping in fresh bed clothes each night.

The food was outstanding and plenty of choice for Brits for those who do not like the international cusine like myself and the kids. The wife enjoyed trying out new foods, but we had no complaints either.

The staff were very friendly and always wishing you good morning and good night, and bent over backwards to help us out. The entertainers were brilliant during the day time and were always getting people involved in all sorts of games, which was great fun, well done guys! I can't comment on the entertainment at night time as we decided to go and see Marmaris at night, something I would recommend.

We will be visiting this hotel again next year for sure, because this has been a brilliant holiday and we have been staying at a brilliant hotel which caters for the kids as well as adults.

When we arrived at the hotel we were impressed it looked lovely, on checking in we were given a sheet stating food times and entertainment schedule.

The food was awful, feta cheese in pastry for breakfast! only when I asked for cereal for the kids was it provided. Although there are 4 bars at the hotel you can only get drinks at one of them and the others you have to pay for.

Entertainment there was no entertainment in fact we were so bored we got some playing cards!

If any travel agent tries to sell you this hotel in Novemebr say no as the resort is closed and there is nothing going on to keep you occupied at the hotel.

Staff were friendly always had a good morning or afternoon for you.

Agree food was not that great especially at night time but we found a few places to eat out at night that weren't that expensive. The Emporium was next door to the hotel it was nice in there and they also gave you 15% discount if you were with Pineta.

Entertainment was alright they tried their best considering there was only four of them I think, David, Gino and Coco you done a good job trying to get people to take part it aint easy.

I would go back so hopefully next year we may be there.

This is my second holiday to pineta park. A friend and i wnt in july 05.

The hotel is fantastic, very modern and clean.

Hotel staff/entertainers are very friendly. Only down side to entertainment is that there wasnt that much on a night time and near to end of season there isnt much entertainment at all, only entertainment i got was when Gino got chucked in the pool!!!!

The food - put it this way, eveing meals i wouldnt even give to my dog!! I have never seen anything like it in my life. Breakfast and dinner was fine, can cope with that.
If you have got children i woung not advise to go there. If you want to loose weight it is the best place to go!!!

On arrival at the hotel we were in awe of its design and the rooms were well appointed and comfortable. We thought we were gonna be in for a very good holiday.

However, certain things began to immediately let the hotel down. Food and drink being the main two. Breakfast was ok, as was lunch and dinner. That was until about the third day of eating exactly the same dishes. Eventually, we got so bored of it we sampled food from the local bars which was fantastic but at a cost.

The drinks on the other hand were appalling from the start. After drinking at least twenty beers on the second day without feeling remotely light headed I went onto Vodka the next day. Same result! Then to our horror we witnessed one of the barman watering down, probably with tap water, some bottles of the locally produced spirits. Safe to say, we went to the local bar Van Goghs from then onwards if I wanted a decent drink. There, the same brand of beer actually had some life in it and tasted totally different. But of course, that defeats the object of an All Inclusive package.

Facilities were also dissapointing, pools were far too deep for my wife to relax in and the kids at the hotel had no facilities. The childrens playground amounted to a see-sew and a swing.

Entertainment, especially at night was poor. During the day the entertainment staff around the pool were fantastic. If it hadn't been for the banter from Gino and getting to regularly chuck him in the pool we'd have gone out of our minds. That man deserves more than his measly £200 a month wage!!

That didn't make up for the fact however, that there was no basketball as advertised, no mini-golf as advertised, no football pitch as advertised and the tennis court couldn't be used without hiring raquets and balls. To add insult to injury, the two pool tables (that didn't have sufficient balls to play on them simultaneously) and one table tennis table, could only be used between 14:00 and 17:00 so if you didn't like the crap cabaret or playing cards at night you were fresh out of luck.

Oh, and contrary to popular belief and the brochure, free drinks were not available till midnight because all the free bars closed at 23:50 so you had the choice of going to bed or paying 40 YTL (£18.00) for a Bacardi and Coke in the reception bar.

Do not visit this hotel!!! Go B&B and visit the local bars which have great food and reasonably priced drinks. They'll even pick you up and drop you back off at your hotel if you want. Van Goghs was our favourite. Great staff, great service and great food!

We arrived at the hotel & were impressed with the architecture of building. we were welcolmed with a fruit cocktail & taken to our rooms. The family rooms were spacious, clean & well appointed.

Sadly that was the best it got, the food was unidentifiable, always chicken/turkey. ther were flys everywhere in the restaurant-no covers on salads or bread & no fly zappers. All food was recycled.

All our party was ill for part of our 2 week stay with stomach problems. The "Turkish Night buffet" was cancelled on 2nd week because "it was too cold" for the staff.

The air conditioning in the rooms was a joke and none in common areas that were working.

The final straw was on Saturday afternoon we were removed from pool area & informed that certain areas & facilities would not be available as there was a Turkish Wedding with 500 turks.

Avoid this hotel at all costs!

The Pineta park deluxe is the best hotel my wife and I have ever stayed in, it really is a deluxe hotel. No matter where you venture within the hotel you will find it spotless in every area.

The hotel staff are extremely helpful and and go out of their way to put things right for you.

As most reports say the food is a big letdown for a hotel of this stature (I did not go there expecting chips and burgers) Breakfast you will always find something you like, lunch and dinner look as though they are combinations of what was on the menu the day before and usually you will find at least 1 dish that was on the lunch menu also on the dinner menu. We attempted to go in the restaurant for every meal but on several occasions we turned around (after we had seen the menu) and went for a meal at the Three Brothers Restaurant. It was after our first meal here that we realised how bad the hotel food really was.

The day time entertainment is really good as the animation team try to get as many people involved as they can, they work tirelessly all afternoon. We only went to the night entertainment on 1 occasion but came out after half an hour. I can recommend the Harmony bar in Icmeler, there is a female impersonator from the UK who does a fantastic show. Also Icmeler is on the whole cheaper than Marmaris for drinks.

If you are going into Icmeler make sure you get the Yellow Dolmus as the Blue ones only go halfway.

I would probably not go back to this hotel mainly because of the food and entertainment do not live up to the 4+ rating this hotel has (although everything else in the hotel does).

The food wasn't all that and there wasn't really any simple food. i think there should be a more selection of food.

The entertainers were OK as there could have been more entertainment around the pool. I didn't really see much of them. I think I only remember 3 entertainers.

The hotel staff were really polite. On my last night I asked for a cocktail to one of the members of the bar staff and he refused to make me one because everyone would want a cocktail. That was the barman's job to get me a drink I wanted. So I had to go to the other bar on the other side to get one. He didn't have a problem making me one.

As others have said, the food was not up to standard for the rating of hotel, evening meal was either chicken or turkey for 5 of the 7 days we were there.

Packed meals were not available for people wishing to explore on there own or early morning starts for trips.

I am a non-swimmer, there are 2 pools, but the pools have the same depth of 1.58m, which made them impossible to use.

Entertainment of an evening doesn't start until 9.45pm, and its not very good.

As others have said, you have to be up and down at the crack of dawn to secure your sun loungers, by the pool with your towel.

Minimum variety of alcoholic drinks available.

All inclusive was a bit of a let down as we had to pay for ice creams. We also had to visit sister resaurant to watch soccer match, england v wales where we had to pay for drinks (£2 pint of lager). Same night turkey match was shown in hotel

Very clean and luxurious hotel. Rooms spacious and balconies overlooking pool.

Food: difficult to please our 8 yr old boy but in general plenty of choice and managed to eat every day. Lovely snacks by the pool every afternoon. really enjoyed turkish night with traditional kebabs.

Staff were helpful except last night when the bar shut 15 min early. caused a bit of a fuss and the manager restored our calm after allowing us drinks.

Entertainment was non existant. They finished entertainment and then put on a disco for all and put on a film at the same time-found this hilarious.

We had to entertain our boy ourselves or let them enjoy the company of others. he had fun with foreign children despite the language barrier and this we found amusing.

The hotel was great but we wouldn't return for other reasons.

The Pineta Park Deluxe is a beautiful hotel and very impressive on arrival. It is in a very nice part of Marmaris and only ten minutes into main centre. The staff are all very pleasant although the entertainment is extremely limited and quite poor as there are only four entertainment staff.

The food lets the hotel down. Although it is international cuisine, it is hard to tell what meat is what as it is all a very strange colour. Breakfast and lunches were fine but the main evening meal needs drastic improvement.

The food was fine lots of people did not like it but for me and my family it was fine. Breakfast was ok lots of choice, dinner was great, a mass of choice, the afternoon snacks were good as well.

Every one of the staff were so so nice it was untrue.

The entertainment was ok. Gino all day try to get people interested and worked hard to do his job. I found the best entertainment was in the morning between 5.30am and 7.30am watch people rush for sunbeds,at 7 and 11 if your not sat there the hotel remove your towels it's good fun.

The food was absolutely disgusting. The hotel was full of Germans. All entertainment and food was catered for Germans. There was nothing to eat and nothing to do, unless you took a three mile walk to Centrum to go shopping.

We had our sons tenth birthday there he was bored senseless.

We would never recommend this hotel or Turkey to anybody.

We were on the top floor (5th) the balcony rail was loose we reported this three times it never got fixed.

The barman would not serve us at 11.30 because we had a drink then made racist comments to German customers about us.

We hated this place so much that we returned home with a week of the holiday left.

This was our first holiday.

I agree with Dawn.. there has been many people complaining regarding the food..which I thought was not that bad except for the breakfast which I think there is room for improvement. We did eat out for breakfast at the restaurant just outside called the Emporium and the prices were really reasonable.

Staff in the hotel were extremely friendly including the cleaners.

The entertainers always did their best to include everybody.. My daughter really enjoyed the mini disco and always joined in with the singing and dancing.

The hotel itself was very impressive to look at..We had a lovely sea view from our room which was large with plenty of room.

There is a market every Thursday 5mins walk away..plenty of bargains to get there.

We went to Turkey for 7 days but we could definitely havestayed for longer...Would certainly come back next year!!!!

Thought they could have done more with the kids at night as the kids disco only went on for about 30 minutes if you were lucky but overall had a great time.

We were extremely impressed as was everyone else about the reception area, but was equally as impressed with our room which partially overlooked the pool and had a partial sea view also. We did however pay extra for a family 4 room. The room was spacious and extremely clean, had all amenities that you required.

The FOOD was as you would expect of a hotel abroad, I must say that it does annoy me that people moan about not being catered for being 'English', you have to realise that you are in a foreign country that is widely visited by all nationalities and it must be extremely difficult to cater for everyone's needs.

The hotel did do their best and every put on one evening because of the moaning their version of Steak and Kidney pie!! I do feel that if you want steak egg and chips then stay at home! We found the food extremely edible, we had no problems.

The STAFF, we found the hotel staff friendly and helpful, may I say that the few that were less talkative we found was more of a language barrier than anything to do with being rude.

The ENTERTAINMENT - well yes, I must admit that the amphitheatre was rather cramped and struggled to meet the number of hotel guests. The staff did their utmost to get people involved in activities but yes we did find it extremely limited in the evenings.

The LOCATION was good because you had the hustle and bustle of the main bars and restaurants about 10 minutes walk away maximum, this was the same distance to the beach, but you was also out of the way of it all if need be.

We would definitely go back to this hotel, it is one of the best we have stayed in.

Arrived at the Pineta Park it was impressive looked 5* shame about the food, which was bad. We had to eat out most of the time, so anybody going in the near future, take extra money.

Another downside was if you wanted a sunbed you had to get up at 6 am to reserve one.

The entertainment was also not good 1 hour at night and that was your lot. Seeing it was such a big hotel you were cramped in a small amphitheatre with stone steps and cushions to sit on but these were dirty, children used them for jumping on and people had to get to their seats putting feet all over them.

I would not stay there again.

I think it catered for young families round the pool playing loud music and plenty of games which was good for the young adults.

Silver lining met Eileen and Mike - nice couple.

When my husband and myself first arrived at the hotel we were very impressed. The reception area is to a high standard. We were greated by a member of staff and made to feel very welcolme. Our cases were taken up to our room and the porter checked everything was in order.
The room was lovely, carpeted instead of the usual marble floor. The mini bar had 5 tins of soft drinks,1 tin of beer and 2 small bottles of water, we were told that if we wanted any more there would be a charge.
The location of the Hotel is within 5 mins walk from shops and the beach, which is great. But this is where the good part ends.

The food is well set out,and everywhere is very clean. But they do not cater for the English.Breakfast is cheeses, fruit, hard boiled eggs. There were fried eggs once in 2weeks, which did not please my husband.
Lunch and Dinner was Chicken or Turkey every meal for 14 days.I did not know there were so many ways to cook chicken. It was a standing joke with all nationalities.
The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and cleared all the pots away as soon as you had finished, somtimes before you had finished. One day I picked my cup up and my saucer went.

You go on Holiday for a rest, but at this Hotel you have to be up and down to the pool before 6am if you wish to have a sunbed and umbrella.Although management have put a notice up to say that know beds can be reserved before 7-30 nobody does anything about this.

The daytime entertainment was very good, with one member of staff(Gino)getting everyone involved. But in the evening it was awful, and all the bars were closed by 12o`clock.

If you like chicken,go to bed early and get up at dawn then this is the Holiday for you.
But this is not my kind of holiday.

The maid kept putting shapes on the beds with towels it was quite good how she did it. The swimming pool was big and had a cockroach in it.

The holiday was nice but the food spoilt the holiday and at 5.00 in the morning a mosque woke everyone up. In the evening you take a nap and you hear it again.

The entertainers were fab they always chose my dad to be the entertainer of the night. He called himself Mr Pineta. it would be excellant for lots of honeymoons.

Having been to Marmaris before I was rather disappointed with this hotel. On arrival we were extremely pleased with the look of the hotel and how clean it was, rooms were really nice.

Food did not cater for English and we just fed on chips / salad and fruit.

Hotel entertainment were really friendly and got everyone involved in the goings on.

What disappointed us was we were made to feel unwelcome by hotel staff just because we were 6 girls staying there.
To say it was all inclusive, you were watched on what you were drinking and how much you ate.

It took us 30 min to get served at the pool bar one evening as the bar staff served everyone bar us.
We booked the hotel for 6 nights 7 days,we arrived on the Sat morning and were ordered out the hotel room at 12noon the following Fri (we were not due to be picked up till 12 midnight). We were told by reception 3 days before leaving we could keep the rooms till 5.30. Then to be called on the Fri at lunch to pack up and get out was disgusting. We then were told we could have the rooms if we paid £20.

I would come back to Turkey but certainly not this hotel.

Stayed for one week in June.

After reading the reviews on this site before we travelled we were a bit concerned, however, we were pleasantly surprised.

The hotel was spotless and was constantly cleaned all day every day. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard and the towels were changed daily. Our room on the 5th (top) floor was huge with two double beds and a large balcony with a view which can only be described as fantastic overlooking the pools and the sea.

Food was ok, but as in other reviews the hotel does not cater for Brits although you could find something to eat every meal time. Waiting staff were excellent. polite and friendly.

Entertainment was ok, but it did give us a chance to see Marmaris by night. Marmaris is a very big place and we were a good 30 minutes walk from the marina and a 10 minute walk from the beach. The road was not too busy.

Downside:Alcoholic spirits available are limited to raki, gin, vodka and of course wine. There is of course beer, soft drinks, tea & coffee available from 10am til midnight from 3 bars.

Overall, enjoyed holiday at Pineta Park we would return in future.

The hotel in lovely and the fixtures and fittings are modern of and a high standard. The overall cleanliness is of a high standard as well. The food is diabolical, everything is repeated and recycled. If not used up it is then put into a salad for the next day. The food is more catered to a russian/germany cuisine.

The hotel is based up out of Marmaris main resort with about a 10 minute walk to the beach, across a very busy and dangerous main road. Hotel staff unhelpful and uninterested in anything that you requested.

The children's club and entertainment was poor, only a mini-disco and small show in an evening for an hour, peformed by the hotel's own entertainment team. This hotel is supposed to be a de-luxe complex it is far from that.

Lots of noise from generators when electric goes off and smells from extractor fans from the kitchen. Lots of complaints from families staying at the Hotel nothing for younger children to do. A small grassed area was taped off so they could not play on this. Only two small swings and a tiny baby pool.

The two large swimming pools are both over 6 feet deep, with no gradual slopping, so dangerous for children.

When we arrived at this hotel it was around 04:00 and when we stepped off the coach there was a bell boy loading our cases onto a trolley.

This is a very impressive hotel. Cleanliness is to a very high standard, and all staff were very friendly and attentive, especially with the kids. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the beach.

The entertainment was okay through the day but not up to much on an evening. At 9pm they do a kids disco for half an hour, and then a show for approx an hour in a little outside theatre where you can't even take in drinks. The hotel food is not at all catered for the English or children. Even the snack bar they have on between 2 & 4 only served burgers twice and hot dogs once during our 2 week stay.

The Hotel is absolutely beautiful. The room we were allocated first of all overlooked a disused pool and building works (mind you, we were there just before official season starts, so cant really moan!) We managed to change rooms with a bit of faffing about but were over the moon with our new room overlooking the hotel pool.

Rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard, the whole hotel was spotless.

The food was ok; not as bad as some reviews have made out so pleasantly surprised. Good if you dont want to put on weight whilst away, ate to satisfaction not excess! Plenty of choice with local dishes and salads etc.

Hotel was a short walk from the beach and bus stop. Very nice walk from hotel to Marmaris (If you go, do the day boat trip, excellent!)

All the staff were really friendly and helpful; Entertainment Manager even offered to take me and my friend out sight-seeing on his day off (and we are both old enough to be his mum!) Waiting staff in the restaurant where very attentive (if not overly!) as soon as you put your knife and fork down your plate was taken away!

Definately have a Turkish bath at the hotel, totally wicked experience!

We are already looking to go back later this year and again next year!

We were very lucky with the weather; also because it was pre-season was fairly quiet-did fill up a bit as the week wore on. Also loads of English people there.

The Markets in Marmaris is excellent if you want to do some serious bartering!

The hotel is lovely it is definitely the nicest hotel me and the rest of my party have stayed in. The rooms all have fitted carpets and a good size balcony.

The staff in the hotel was really friendly they couldn't do enough for you.

During the day there was plenty of entertainment going on like waterpollo, volleyball, water aerobics etc and the enetertainers would try there best to get everybody involved in it.

There were 3 bars they all served all inclusive drinks but one of them stopped on a night and you had to pay for them. At 5 o clock you could get drinks biscuits and cake on the patio area.

On a night they always started off with a mini disco and then went on to a show. When that finished one of the bars in the hotel had a disco.

The only down side to our stay in Pineta was the food it didn't cater for English very well at all, and at dinner time we ate out at this cafe which is part of the hotel but the food there was so much better.

We did have a great holiday here though and we are definitely going back next year.

I have been using reviews so thought it was about time to contribute.

We had seven days at the new Pineta Park five star hotel.

The hotel itself is stunning and very stylish and one of the best we have seen in Marmaris.

We found the staff to be friendly and the hotel to have a great atmosphere.

There were a lot of Dutch and German families but everyone was in good humour and it was fun to watch the kids overcome the language barriers.

Meal times were busy but we never had to queue for anything and we thought the selection of dishes on offer was excellent. The hotel has a routine and if you stick with that you shouldn't want for anything.

We didn't watch the evening entertainment preferring instead the short stroll to the waterfront to take in the sights and sounds of Marmaris.

There is a very nice restaurant attached to the hotel if you want a special meal at a reasonable price. Lo
