rated the Pollentia Hotel as follows: Cleanliness Location Staff Food Entertainment	said: We liked this Hotel, Old Fashioned and Built in the early 50s,but a nice and Freindly feeling about it. It's only downside was there was no Air Conditioning, and that is a must in July! The Food was Good but not alot of choice in the Morning. Gents, remember to ware Long Trousers in the Dinnertime sitting. Location was Fine for us. About 20 Min's walk to the Main Centre. Bus runs frequently but they stop about 8.30 a taxi is about 6 Euros. You will find all the Staff in this Hotel very Friendly and the Rooms cleaned every day. rated the Pollentia Hotel as follows: Cleanliness Location Staff Food Entertainment	said: We booked this hotel through Thompson's "Small & Friendly" brochure, and it does exactly what it says on the tin ! It's worth paying extra to get a sea view, the hotel is right on the seafront, and the beach at Puerto Pollensa is one of the best I've ever seen, I will never get tired of that view. Our room was small and basic, but had everything we needed, the furniture is quite old but this gives the room character and is not at all scruffy (room & bathroom were spotlessly clean too)... We booked on a half-board basis, but we ate out on a few occasions also (for variety - we always enjoy trying different restaurants on holiday). There was a good choice of hot or cold food at breakfast, and apart from the odd rogue item (garlic mushrooms ? sweetcorn ?!!), it was all very good quality. Dinner was also very good, with a wide choice of salads or hot main courses. The head waiter is certainly a very friendly chap and always gave us a warm welcome... The only real negative during our stay was the busy road outside. If your room is at the front (and if you want a sea view it will be), the traffic can be quite noisy.
