Brilliant apartment, excellent location in Playa Fanabe/Costa Adeja. Large appartment with 2 bathrooms, 3 showers and even 2 balconies. Hot water constantly in the bathrooms and also hairdryers and Dove or Lux soap dispensers.

Owned by a Swedish Company who shop at IKEA. Well equipped but small kitchen with kettle, coffee maker and Microwave etc. Usually Scandinavians there but open to Thomas Cook UK from May - October in 2009.

Apartment is well organised and maintained. Resort Services speak excellent English if you have a problem and are very helpful. No problem with sunbeds at this time of the year but found the Sun terraces on the 4th floor which were quieter for us. Apartments didn't seem very full at moment.

Downside for us was no courtesy room available on Wednesday. As we had gone with Thomas Cook Flexi-trips for 10 days, courtesy rooms are only available on Tuesday or Friday when most of flights leave. Could have kept room on until 6.00pm at cost of 35 euros.

Tenerife itself seemed very quiet. We usually go in January or February and were surprised but think recession may be hitting them as some of pubs & restaurtants either closed or changed name.

We will definitely return, hopefully to these apartments if they are open early next year.

This was our 3rd visit to Sunwing and I have to say that it is still as good as ever. The weather was very disappointing although it was warm it was very cloudy with only a couple of hours of blue sky and sunshine each day.

The rooms are spacious and clean with lots of hanging/storage space. The bathroom has 2 sinks, powerful shower and always lots of hot water. The beds are also very comfortable. The kitchen area is very small but as we only had breakfast in the apartment it wasn't a problem to us. We did hire a toaster which was only 6 euro's for the week. Pool and beach towels are provided and these can be changed for a cost of 250 euro's. Towels and sheets can also be changed whenever you wished. All staff are very helpful and friendly. We had a problem with the safe and the maintenance man came straight away to fix it.

The pool area can get abit crowded but we never had a problem getting a sunbed. The water gym each day is good fun and they also do one for kids too.

The hotel is in a perfect location as it is only 5 mins from the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. The mini market is very well stocked, however there is also a Netto and Spar close by too.

We had a couple of meals at the hotel and the food was ok, although service was very slow. There are lots of lovely restaurants around the resort we particularly liked the chinese (located at the back of the hotel), La Brasserie and Loch Ness on the front by the beach.

The beach is just 5 min walk away, it does have black sand so you do tend to feel very dirty after spending the day there. The sunbed & parasol was 13 euros for the day. As the beds are all connected up you are limited to where you want to move them to. There was a good inflatable play area in the sea - great fun for kids and adults.

Already pricing up for next year. The only downside to this hotel is that it is only open to British Holiday makers from 4th June - 17th Oct - which is highly unfair considering Thomas Cook own the hotel.

The rep was a waste of space and wasn't the least bit interested in us and didn't really provide us with any useful information.

We will defo return to this hotel as we think it is just perfect.

We have just returned from our second visit to the Sunwing resort. It's just as good as last time.

We had a room on the pool level and to be honest on arrival at 5am, I wasn't best pleased but when I'd had some sleep and looked again, it was a nice position to be in.

The best discovery this time was the sun terraces on the 4th floor - peace and quiet away from the pool and activities (if that's what you want of course0

The hotel is well situated for all the local bars & restaurants, staff extremely friendly and helpful, shop well stocked, very clean and excellent maid service.

Having just returned from the Sunwing Resort in Fanabe, I can definately recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking for a hotel which is centrally located to all amenities, the beach is only one block away with the shops and supermarket being on the same block. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. A nice touch was that a bottle of water was left in the fridge ready for your arrival. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Only 2 small issues we came across were that the pool was on the small side, and the walk to the apartment was a good way from reception, having to walk along a long hallway, through the garage, then up a lift and then to walk along another hallway, it took us a few days to find our way without getting lost.

This was our first time at sunwing resort fanabe, and we not diappointed. The reception by the staff on arrival was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and well set out.We never had to wait long for a lift. The supermarket is very well stocked and good value for money. Around the pool it is kept very clean, and if you want to you can have an early swim between 7 am - 10am.There are also a lot of bins around the pool and you are to recycle your rubbish, which everybody did.Rooms are cleaned 5 days a week. The resort is very well placed for whatever you want to do.

After visiting Tenerife about 10 times before we have to say these apartments are first class!! Clean safe and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Tv in your room to keep up with back home footie results etc. Cleaned 5 times a week. We took a 10 year ols and only ever saw her at feeding time!! All the kids play together whatever their nationality. Aqua aerobics in the pool 5 times a week was fun. Minimakret was reasonably priced. We went middle 2 weeks in august but there were always spare sunbeds available. If you book these apartments you won't want to go anywhere else in Tenerife!!! Thanks for a fab time!!!!

We had the best holiday ever at Sunwing Fanabe. The hotel was immaculately clean with 5 cleaning days a week. Clean bedding and towels whenever you needed them. We had a beautiful apartment overlooking the pool. We ate snacks from La Tasca and the minimarket which was well stocked and the staff friendly. There are plenty of sunbeds and parasols you would always find a couple of beds. Whatever time of the day. (We went 1st 2 weeks in August!)

The hotel was in an excellent location and you felt VERY safe in the whole area of Fanabe which had lots of extremely good restaurants which provided high quality food at a reasonable price. Particularly liked the Gran Reserva, Tex Mex,the Torviscas Steak House and Tandoori for an evening meal. English Breakfast was good at Busbys and Bentleys.

BIG Thanks to Angela the rep who is extremely friendly, caring and helpful. All the Sunwing staff at were friendly kind and helpful in every capacity.

Saw one show which was very good, only because we liked to wander around the area which has so many bars and shopping areas as we liked to have a meal, shop and have drinks along the way. Loved the Water Gym every day it was great fun - Thanks Karen.

We would definately visit this hotel again and would love to be able to make booking at other Sunwing Hotels as this one is a flagship for their hotel chain.

having stayed at the sunwing 2 years ago i was praying the high standard of cleanliness and enjoyment would be maintained and i was not disappointed. the resort had left a welcome back message and a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. the apartments are clean and anything you request is rectified instantly. the pool is a little on the small side but sufficient. eating within the complex is a delight and should not be overlooked, you are not bothered by touts and the quality, service and value for money is excellant. if you hire a car there is a secure underground car park for residents which makes it safe and cool then just to walk straight into reception. although a swedish resort the entertainers make all feel welcome and embrace everyone equally especially the kids. the show bar is expensive to drink in other than on the saturday night when there is a happy hour, the rest of the week no one drinks whilst the artists perform.

We have just returned from the sunwing resort and overall i would say it is an excellent location for a holiday. It is literally 5 minutes walk from a really lovely beach, with lots of water sports available. My children particularly enjoyed the huge inflatable playground in the sea !!The resort itself is emaculate and being a swedish hotel chain safety is paramount. The pool area always had a lifeguard on duty for piece of mind. The pool did get quite busy and sunbeds had to be reserved early, even though you weren't supposed to, but with everyone doing it you had no choice. Entertainment was excellent, with a swedish group of entertainers putting on shows most nights, and they were excellent. Older children are able to safely go along without adult supervision. the rooms were lovely but the pull out sofa beds for older children are not really adequate(mine are 10 and 13) if i went back i would definitely book a 2 room appartment. As a family who like cooking, we were disappointed by the self catering facilities, a double hob and a microwave, no grill, toaster or oven !!!! Still with some imagination we survived. Eating out is good value as all local establishments are in competition with each other. We had a great holiday and the weather was fabulous, i would reccomend this resort particularly to those with quite young children as they really do cater well for these. If you are going soon you will have a fab time.

After travelling to Tenerife for the first time we were really impressed on arriving at the Sunwing resort the reception staff were warm and friendly and booking in was very quick. The rooms were very comfortable with everything you could possibly need, We were supplied with 4 beach towels which was very useful and the rooms were cleaned 5 times a week, maid staff were very polite and friendly. Food at La Tasca was lovely and with a handy mini market (not over priced) on site it was great when sitting around the pool. There were plenty of sunbeds and although at the welcome meeting people were asked not to reserve beds this did happen so if you wanted a bed you had to go to the pool about 8am. The pool was very busy but very clean. We didn't stay in for the entertainment as most of it wasn't in English. I would certainly recommend the Sunwing and would definately stay there again.

(mini land for 7 year old was excellent and water polo and computer suite for older one suited him fine.)the food in la tasca at hotel was also excellent with 7 year old eating free if she chose off kids menu. hotel is close to beach and all night time activites offered in resort.
overall a fab holiday.

We had booked the Sunwing not having been to Tenerife in 20 years and were not at all disappointed at all. The location suited us in that it is relatively quiet but with easy and quick access to the beach and all the bars and restaurants along the beach at Fanabe.
The whole complex is spotless and the apartments were cleaned 5 days a week. Towel and sheet changes are optional but you can get them changed every cleaning day.
We did not eat in Fino, the more formal restauramt but we did eat in La Tasca which served really good lunches which did suit our slightly fussy 10 year old. If you wanted to eat out there are loads of places within 5 minutes walk.
Staff were all polite. The reception staff appeared to be mostly Swedish but spoke good English. There are 6 computers available for Internet access and there are Playstations available as well.
Pool is slightly small for the number of guests but not too bad.
All in all a great fortnight and would recommend the Sunwing to anyone.

The hotel was excellent, the rooms were very clean, the maids cleaned the room very well each time, about 5 times a week. There were all the ammenities you require for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning was fantastic, the bathroom's had a double sink, with a large mirror, so more than 1 person at atime could get ready. A good size balcony with 4 seats and a table, ideal for eating meals in the sun, or relaxing with a cool drink.

We went to the entertainment one night, it was the Abba tribute night. We really enjoyed the evening, it was very entertaining.

We took part in pool exercises, what a fantastic half an hour, good fun, good music, and excellent tuition by the staff.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had a small room but there was plenty of space. We would definitely go back. It was ideal for our 3 year old.

Miniland, for the children was excellent with a good range of activities, although some of the activities were unavailable due to small numbers participating.

The food at 'La Tasca' - the Hotel restaurant was some of the best we had in the whole resort.

The pool was very clean and a good size. The staff were very pleasant.

This is our second visit to the Sunwing and we would definately go again.

The room we stayed in this year had a seperate bedroom and two bathrooms (fantastic when both kids are girls!).

The hotel left a bottle of wine in our room as a welcome back present which was a very nice touch.

Everyone seems to comment that the entertainment is not very good, but this is not a problem as you are only 2 mins from the front which has varied nightlife (not over busy though but perfect for families).

We loved going to the Bayview British Bar above McDonalds.

Anyone going to the Sunwing is guaranteed to have a great time.

We just returned after spending 2 weeks at Sunwing. The complex was very clean everywhere and the rooms where cleaned 5 times a week.

I found the staff very helpful whenever we needed anything, there was a doctor at Sunwing every morning, however if you they had left the staff at reception would get them back for you as we had to call out the doctor one day, it only took about 30 minutes from asking the reception staff to having the doctor in our room.

The food was okay at La Tasca, not the best selection but not overpriced however the drink in the show bar was a bit expensive.

We went with 3 kids, 6 year old, 3 year old and 18 month old, I found the day time entertainment for this age group very good as the hotel mascots made poolside visits 3 times a day, they had spoon diving in the second pool and also the miniland play area. This play area was open free between 1600 and 1800 most days with plenty for the kids to do. There was also a range of kids club activities that you paid for, 2 of our kids went of these and we found them to be great value for money, normally 6 euros each, and the reps made sure all the kids knew what was happening by speaking in Swedish and English.

The evening shows for both kids and adults were okay but could have lasted longer, kids show approx 2000-2030 and adult show approx 2200-2250 each day. Although alot of the kids show was in Swedish all the Sunwing reps spoke English at some point during the show, but as it seemed to have more Swedish guest then UK guest this seemed fair.
The rooms had 24 hour air conditioning and were of a high standard.

Overall we found Sunwing a great resort for a holiday we we recommend it for anyone with young kids, and we have already looked at booking again for next year.

Stayed at the Sunwing for 2 weeks in the school holidays.

We found the apts were very clean and the maid came in to clean 5 times a week. They provide you with pool and beach towels free of charge.

The pool area was always clean and tidy, each evening they collected all the balls and inflatables that were left behind and they were placed in a lost and found basket next to the pool. Very useful if you forgot something.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The food in La Tascos restaurant was very good and was always hot and freshly cooked. You could see the kitchen from your table. It was a very child friendly restaurant and the children ate free at breakfast, lunch, dinner, when a adult ate a meal.

I would stay at this hotel again I am booking now for next year.

Sunwing Fanabe in Tenerife.
We have just returned to Birmingham after having spent 2 weeks at the Sunwing. We did have a fantastic holiday in Tenerife.

The hotel was very nice and was just as it looks in the brochure. Very clean and excellent staff, friendly and helpful. The only down side was you needed to be up at about 7.30 if you wanted to get a sunbed around the pool area, and being a parent with a child that was a must; so on an couple of occasions we had to go to the beech as there were no sunbeds available at the hotel. The beech was about a 5 minute walk with various shops to look in on the way and it was excellent so that was not too much of a problem.

We did on two occasions eat at the hotel and both times the food was excellent and I certainly could recommend eating there.

The only reason that I would not visit this hotel again is the lack of entertainment for the children. My daughter is 9 years of age and the so called mini-disco was most of the time in Swedish and only suitable for a 2 - 3 year old child. If the hotel sorted out more entertainment for the whole family catering for all nationalities that go to the hotel then I would certainly go back to this hotel.

One restaurant that I would highly recommend is the Spanish one next to Lock Ness on the seafront. We had a fantastic meal here the night before we left and my only disappointment was we did not try it before then. The meal was wonderful with a good selection of food available and the staff were very polite and could not do enough for you.

Highly recommend people to try it.

Very child friendly hotel in a good location. Close to shops and beach. The staff in the reception where excellent. Always very helpful with good English spoken.

The entertainment was made up of a group of 4 singers with an ABBA night, 80's night and the likes. They were average at best with one of the guys threatening to shatter the glasses in the bar with his out of tune notes.

The real problem though was that it was the same group every night. The pool area very noisy with kids having a great time from 9 AM to 7PM so not relaxing if thats what your after. Lots of sunbeds and umbrellas. We never had any difficulty getting ours.

There is 2 small pools - really suitable for toddlers and a larger pool that the bigger kids took over. 3 pool tables at the pool and a table football machine. 2 restaurants there also. Kids could eat free at any time of the day with a paying adult - so good value. The staff here were very pleasant also.

Rooms were cleaned very well 5 times a week. Our room was not massive. Any smaller and I would have been disappointed. We did have a nice view of the pool though.

Yes, its clean, the rooms are big enough, its close to the beach and restaurants, but, the pool is too small for all the guests, the bar is expensive and no one seemed to use it, the show room was dirty, smelly and sticky and the shows were all in swedish!!!

The weather was great, the company fab, but I honestly couldn't recommend this hotel.

The kids club was for kids with a parent!! our kids wouldn't go, the entertainment during the day was water aerobics at full volume in the only pool, not great for a relaxing sunbathe.

The staff smile a lot but when it came to do something, book a late checkout room, they were hopeless.

Would defo go back and wouldn't hesitate recommending to anyone, great for family's kids club best ever seen!!

I have been visiting Fanabe for nearly 10 years and have stayed in most of the surrounding hotels and apartments. Sunwing is in a great location and is more modern that perhaps the Sol Sun or Lagos de Fanabe resort (both of which are good).

The apartment was bright and clean and I found all of the staff to be particularly welcoming and friendly. We only had breakfast and lunch once, both of which were fine as there are so many good places to eat within walking distance (best breakfast at the Colonial or Bentleys.

There were alot of kids and it was quite noisy around the pool area. My friend and I spent most of our time sunbathing on the sun terrace and I suggested that these areas should be adult only for those of us without kids. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Hotel very clean and staff very helpfull and pleasent. All staff spoke very good english which made life alot easier. Found the breakfast poor value for money and cold however on the plus side kids ate free with a paying adult. Sunwing was very close to beach restuarants and pubs. Being close to pubs was handy as the entertainment in Sunwing was very poor and in short supply. This would need alot of attention.

This was our first visit to the Sunwing and were allocated one of the larger rooms with a double balcony a separate bedroom. The room had a large kitchen area with a lounge area equally in size, the apartment had every facility including a toaster, two ring cooker, microwave and all usual items. The rooms and facilities were spotless clean.

This is our 15th year to this resort and the apartments are situated central to all the bars/restaurants and only 5min walk to the beach front promenade.

This is Scandinavian owned and all the staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble with perfect English being spoken.

The entertainment was limited but we did see the Abba show which was well worth a visit, shows start at 9.30pm and finish at 10.30pm.

This is a very family oriented hotel and tends to get very noisy around the pool area in the day with very little space to swim in the pool with so many children and airbeds in the pool, there were plenty of sunbeds avail all day, a children's club was very useful and had good organised activities.

Just got back from sunwing, would not stay at this hotel again as not for us really, very small pool area for size of complex , and the place was swarming with kids so could not use pool or sun beds . ( no offence to those with kids) would say its a 3 star as stayed in few other hotels in area and this did not match up to those.

Location is good 2 min down hill to beach front.rooms are not apartments as all one room except sliding door seperating bedroom from front room and very dark not much lighting.

Fanabe is great for a relaxing holiday as its away from all the hussle and bussle. would go back again to area but for an extra ten min walk up hill recomend ocean pallace.

Didn't eat in resturant didn't look to nice as this is a sweedish hotel so think most of food is catered for them . plenty of good places to eat though, good one is turn right as soon as you come out hotel bit pricey but really worth it, bentlys on beach front good english food as well.

Weather was cloudy and rained on and off for at least 4 days of our 2 week stay. still very hot thou when sun was out, entertainment place was dead at 12 every night .

Thats my thoughs folks hope it helps a bit. Oh Yeah cleaners wake u up about 8 830 every day banging hovers about and entering your room so not much chance of a little lie in.

But if you have kids I suppose your awake anyway , all in all familys would say yes if you want to fight for pool space , couples or groups with no kids would not recomend this one .

The whole complex is only 3 years old and still looks fresh. The rooms have all necessary implements apart from a toaster which you can hire for 2 euros per week. We were luck enough to have a BABY ROOM, one of 5 or 6 that lead directly onto the toddler pool.

The staff, including the children's team and show team are all extremely friendly and go out of their way to make the Brits(75% of the guests are Scandinavian) feel very welcome.

The deli/shop on site has most things and is reasonably priced, La Tasca has good food and also does take aways. There is an indoor, air conditioned kids area, like a classroom, where the young ones can go free, from 3pm till 5 pm most days. There are two supervisors and there are all kind of things to do in there....my Son loved it.

Entertainment in the evening is at the Showbar where the group of 4 entertainers put on various shows....80's night, Abba night etc etc....finishes around 10.30pm which is a tad early.

My only criticism, which is a minor one, is that there are far too many sunbeds around the pool.....you have no problem finding a bed, even after a lie in. There is also a sun terrace on the 4th floor that has good views of the mountains.

We have been back from Tenerife for two weeks and have already booked to go back to the Sunwing resort next year!

The apartments at the Sunwing are immaculate and very well equipped. It was my first time in Tenerife but my partner has been on three previous occasions and said that Sunwing are the nicest apartments he has stayed in.

Very eco-friendly with recycling bins and electricity saving devices.

The pool was lovely and clean and although often busy there was always a lounger available.....no matter what time of the day!

The restaurants were nice but we found that we could get a lovely meal cheaper at one of the many restaurants on the beachfront.

We did see some of the entertainment and it was very good. The fact that it finished reasonably early meant that we could go and see other entertainment in the pubs and bars which didn't start until later on.

The apartments were close to everything that we needed - shops, restaurants, entertainments, the beach and transport.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. We met the lady who cleaned our room and although she didn't speak much English she made a real effort to help us and always had a big smile!

We would recommend this resort to everyone, although it is very family orientated so if you want a quiet holiday you might want to try somewhere else!

The hotel (rooms)etc were very clean and no problem with fresh bedding and towels. The room itself however was very dark and dismal,(no centre lighting and energy saving bulbs which give hardly any light) and the balcony was a above a restaurant (very noisy)and looked on to a walkway. There were apartments opposite we could practically shake hands with the other people opposite, this was very disappointing. Although we asked to be moved we were refused even though there were other rooms available (the rep was no help).

Considering these was suppose to be a 4 star apartments I found the accommodation very lacking in space light and our room situ.

This is definitely not for mature couples. The place was OK for families.

We never visited the pool, lots of children and very noisy.

The amount we paid for this holiday was definitely below our expectations. Would not visit again. Sounds negative....... the rest of our holiday was fab

We stayed on the top floor 4 in all, our room slept 5, very large spacious rooms indeed, well maintained, lovely sea views from both our balconies.

We did eat on the one occasion at the LA Tasca restraunt on location of the hotel and found the food acceptable, but only did this the once.

The hotel is right on the sea front which was an added bonus, lovely and clean aswell, although the locals attitude to tourism of late left a lot to be desired.

Hotel staff were great, did not meet our Rep though i belive she was there everyday.

Entertainment was brillinat JukeBox Shows and 80's theme nights were amazing, a must see when staying there.

We are booking again for next year and traking other familiy members, as the hotel was excellent for families and the disabled acess was top notch.

We felt safe and secure through out our stay.

We returned in the early hours of this morning (10.09.05) and came straight back to this review site which certainly helped us make the decision to visit the Sunwing. Now it's our chance to give something back...

As all previous reviews say, this is a very clean, very modern and very friendly hotel. The size and setup of the rooms can not be faulted, very Ikea, but compared to other self-catering apartments, that's a very welcome change of scene!

The staff/cleaners were excellent and must take pride in their work as they too can not be faulted.

There is one thing to note however, this is certainly a more 'family' orientated hotel, so those who visit as a couple should expect lots of children around the pool with their usual loud screams and splashes!! That said, there's Lolo and Bernie, who'll quietly take the children away (don't worry, they do return..eventually!)

Having said that, we would certainly visit this hotel again without reservation.

Arrived back from the a two week break at the Sunwing in fanabe on tuesday 060905. Hotel is Excellent, Its in a bueatiful resort eith the beach only 2 minutes away. Extremley clean place with very helpful staff.

Entertainment was excellent as was the pool with plenty of sunbeds avalable for all. The smal shop in the cornor was always well stocked and not two expensive either.

The only downside to the hotel is the beer is quite expensive at 3.65 euro, and the food in the resturant was not that nice (I had a breakfast and it was cold).

Just come back from Sunwing and have just booked to return next year need I say more !! but I will- it is an excellent family hotel very clean and tidy. and safe pool with lifeguard until 8pm . Cleaners 5/7 towels and sheets washed when you wanted.

Just placed them in wash basket if you wanted them washing - everyone seems to complain about the entertainment but it was quite good. Repeated each week and mostly it was in English - we went to another hotel nearby a 5 star plus and the singers there were miming and could not even do that in time, so compared to that the Sunwing was very good.

We have stayed in a Sunwing resort in Gran Canaria and this definitley better, with the exception of the pool which we thought was a bit smaller than it should have been for the size of the hotel.

The hotel itself is new extremely clean and the staff were very helpful when we need to ask them anyting. The entertainment is appauling and virtually over by 11.00pm which is not really what you want on holiday.

The location is 2 minutes downhill to the beach. The only other draw back are the shop keepers, restaurant owners trying to drag you in to their establishments and the African women wanting to plait my daughters hair.

Absolutely the best holiday we've ever had.

The staff were the most accommodating, the amenities second to none, right from the cleaners, shop staff, restaurant staff to the reception staff. No one could ask for any more, virtually all the staff could speak fluently in English, as well as their own Scandinavian languages.

A truly relaxed and pleasant atmosphere that seemed to make everyone in a fine holiday mood.

The Sunwing appartments are modern clean & spacious there is plenty of room for clothes etc.

There is a fridge/freezer & microwave provided you have to pay for a toaster. There are towels provided for the beach/pool and linen and bath towels can be changed daily if required. The food and drink in the restaurant is expensive I recomend a restaurant called El Classico which is a 10 minute walk away from Sunwing the food is superb and not expensive.

The apartments are 10 minutes away from the beach and there are plenty of pubs/restaurnts to choose from as you'll probably find the entertainment at sunwing quite poor.

The staff at Sunwing are polite and friendly.

I would definitely go there again.

Well what can I say about this hotel, it was perfect in a great location just minutes from the beach, hotel was very modern only opened in 2003.

Entertainment not much of it unless you were swedish or finnish because it was all in their language, great for children as there is a playground and 2small baby pools at the apartments.

Although it was self-catering I did try one of the restaraunts and it was really nice.

apartments were spotless as the cleners cleaned 5times a week and the staff were really friendly.

I would definitely recommend the sunwing resort to anybody I had a great time and would go back again.

The Apartments were in a great location, literally 2 mins from beach, down a short road opposite the entrance. We stayed at Sunwing, Gran Canaria last year and this is a much nicer complex and environment. (The air con at night is a godsend)Pool is good but a little small for the number of guests.

Not much for Teenage kids to do though and the place is like a grave yard at night(great if you have small children to get to sleep but boring for the older kids, who end up congregating in the lobby by the computers or in the playstation room just talking). Not much daytime entertainment, even though the brochures promise it.

Overall Apartment complex is very good and I would recomend it to any Family. However I did get the distinct impression from the reception staff, that the British are only welcome at this mainly Scandinavian complex in the summer (to fill rooms) and not for Winter breaks.

This was my first visit to Tenerife and I was delighted the Sunwing Resort, Fanabe. A 2/3 minute walk and you're on the beachfront, that has loads of lovely restaurants and wee shops.

The rooms were spacious and cleaned thoroughly 5 days out of 7, with plenty cupboard space and coathangers.

The pool area was brilliant, with 3 pools and a kids play area that kept my son amused for the fortnight. No matter what time you arrived at the pool, there was always sun loungers available, so there wasn't any need for us to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve some.

The mini market was well stocked and not expensive at all and the fresh baked bread was delicious!!! Only 40c for a warm baguette!

The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help and the internet access was great!

The only downside with regards to the accommodation was the lack of English channels on the TV. (One sports channel, news channel and and some English cartoons). They do play a DVD each night at 8.00pm and 11.00pm, however, they are sometimes in Scandinavian.

The entertainment was mainly in Scandinavian, as was the kids entertainment, which I felt was pretty poor.

All in all, the Sunwing is a brilliant place to stay and I would definetly go back again.

The hotel and rooms were very clean and mordern they also provide you with towels to use around the pool area and there is hairdryers in the bathrooms. The staff were very helpful the reception was 24 hrs so someone always there to help if you needed it.

The location of the hotel was close to the beach a few seconds walk if you ask at reception they are happy to phone taxis to get into Playa las Americas which cost round about 6 euros one way.

We never stayed in the hotel for the entertainment as it was all finished by 10.30. There are plenty of computers which you can surf the internet for 2 euros for 20 minutes there is also a games room with playstation 2 it was 2 euros for a hour with the games included.

There is also a life guard around the pool area which is a great idea.

The Sunwing Resort is excellent.

Just returned from a weeks holiday and cannot wait to go back. Very clean, plenty for kids and adults to do, mini market is excellent.

Pool area very clean but very busy. There are sun terraces if you want to sunbathe without being splashed!

The rooms were a good size really like 3 separate rooms as each part had a sliding door to divide it. The balconies are large with plenty room to relax.

Just returned from Sunwing early June.

Lovely hotel, lots to do. Costa Adeje best part of Tenerife, and we visited it all.

Only couple of problems with our holiday. Pool and area wasn't extremely clean while we were there but it was the beginning of the season for them. Entertainment was very Scandinavian as this was a Scandinavian based hotel, pronounced Sun Ving, however entertainment group well deserved their money although finished by 10.30pm every night.

Make sure you visit the Loro Parque, well worth the money, and the German lady in the Shopping Centre, next to the Chinese does a great price on a new car!!! plus discounted tickets to attractions!

Overall the holiday was really enjoyable.

Just back on friday from the Sunwing Fanabe Resort, its a very modern very clean place.

The staff are very helpful, the pool area is spotless and the mini market is excellent. Our room was for 2 adults and was ideal in size, very modern with an unusually large bathroom. Balcony overlooked the pool and was a fair size.

We didn't eat in either of the 2 restaurants but they were always busy. Plenty of entertainment for those people with kids, water aerobics for the adults, playstation room and internet access at reception (2 euros for half an hour).

The hotel we stayed in was very clean and enjoyable. In the pool area there was a resturant, mini-market, laundrette, games room, gym, hairdressers, a childrens park and 2 upstairs sun terraces with showers and vending machines.
the pool was quite a large pool and very safe. During the day a staff member dressed up as an animal and played with the children. The holiday reps were very entertaining for the english and got everybody up during the daytime to play water polo or water volleyball.
In the mini-market you can buy everything you can but in a normal market including magazines, bread, toilertries, crisps, sweets and drinks.

We were a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children on a late deal holiday. What can I say overall excellent, the best we have stayed in. We had a room with a pool view on the first floor. The rooms were well equipped (air conditioning, hair dryer, soap, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV, towels, complementary towels for the pool and beach), toaster available for hire from reception. The location of the apartments was excellent only a short walk to beach, restaurants and shops.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The complex was clean at all time, with many recycling bins.

The food in the La Tasca and Fino’s was excellent, there is a mini-market, a laundrette, games rooms, pool tables, gym for step aerobics.

Entertainment was provided by English and Swedish reps. This included killer pool, table tennis, in the pool was aqua aerobics, water volleyball/polo and killer pool.

Our English entertainment rep Kat was brilliant; she had a great personality and excellent singing voice. The evening entertainment was very professional and had excellent show facilities, but could have gone on for longer. Happy hour from 23:00-0:00.

We would definitely return to this excellent, friendly, clean apartments again.Fanaba resort is quieter than Las Americas, but still had all the facilities required for a good family holiday, fun bars, many restaurants, beach providing many water sports.

We got a late deal to these apartments and can honestly say they are one of the best we have stayed in.We had a room on the second floor with a furnished balcony and a pool view. The cleaning standards were very high and with the apts being new everything was very modern. The pool had a lifeguard from 8am until 7pm,who was very good with the kids.We are not early risers and it was lovely to get up mid day and still be able to get a sunbed. The apartments were very quite in the evenings and although we did not see any of the entertainment a few people told us not to bother as it was in Swedish. We will certainly be returning to Tenerife again and especially to these apartments.
