Hotel was very nice and 5* until you reached the bedrooms where I would give them a rating of 3*. Staff were helpful and friendly, there did not seem to be much entertainment on in the first week of May whilst we were there which was a shame as we had our 9 year ols with us. Most nights we ventured into Agia Napa, found a great Polynesian restuarant cant remember name but highly recommended. The beach at the hotel is nice but very rockie and be cafeful my husband stepped on something that left fifty odd spikes in the bottom of his foot. Overall I could take it or leave it, with the euro at the rate it is we found it very expensive, the first bottle of wine on the list in the hotel was 2800 euros(ouch)

Brilliant everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
We are breakfast the, it was delicious lot to choose from, something for everyone.

We ate out for tea though, we took a walk into ayia napa which took about 10 minutes. Some really nice restaurants there, with play areas at the back for children!
So the location itself was't bad.

The hotel staff, they were fine i've had trouble with some staff at other hotels not understanding English, but here they were fine.

The entertainment was brilliant, disco's for kids and karaoke for adults and families and more..

The rooms I thought were quite small, you just had your bathroom and a bedroom, and a balcony.

The pools were brill, especially the lazy river that was perfect if you just wanted to relax.

The worst bit about he pools were the slides, really old and there were only 2, they let it down.

The beach was nice, it was private.

Hi all
My husband and I got married back in August in Adams beach Ayia Napa. The hotel was 5++++ all the way.

We have a lovely room but we also booked in the honeymoon room for the wedding night what made the wedding all that bit more special.

We booked the whole thing ourselves, and managed to save well over a thousand pounds!!! We managed to find everything we needed all on line.

We'd like to thank everyone at HAIR & BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL for all there help, not only did they do a fantastic job on my hair but Jodie the owner went above and beyond when my husband forgot his waistcoat, men ?

I would also like to thank the staff at the florist in the Adams beach for doing a wonderful job on all the flowers ..

I would also like to recommend Jill and Steve at Still productions for the amazing dvd of the whole day.

If anyone would like more info on any of the people we dealt with in Ayia Napa please get in touch as Id be more than happy to pass on contact details.

we've just returned from staying at adams beach, we went for our wedding, the hotel was lovely, very clean, we had a family room and it was really a good size. the pools are really clean and child safe, our 3 children loved the pool and the slides, the only thing the slides should be on longer than what they are. for our wedding we got married in the hotel grounds which was excellent, we used aphrodite wedding services which were brillant they done everything for us, i would recommend them to anyone, we had a problem with the hotel over our wedding reception and they came straight out and sorted it for us, they organised our reception in a restaurant which was really lovely and the food was fabulous. i would return to adams beach, and i would recommend it to people who thiking of getting married and also use aphrodite weddings they just take the presure of you.

just got back a week ago first the negatives.this is a 5* hotel and when you walk through the doors it looks lovely the check in was quick and easy the staff polite and professional we went in the lift to our room and thats where the5* ended the corridor was dark and gloomy with an old and dirty (in places) carpet the room was very clean but was in need of refurbishment in places especially the bathroom with cracked floor tiles and broken toilet seat we were very disappointed and complained straight away and was told nobody had complained before which i find hard to believe but was promised someone would come to see us the next morning nobody did so we left it and like i say it was clean and the cleaner was a lovely lady. a week later when i told the thomson rep she apologised and said thomson guests usually get the 3rd and 4th floors which have been refurbished but did,nt have an answer when i said well why hav,nt we? also food on trays were left for hours sometimes in the corridors from room service. we went b&b and the food was ok but like a cattle market at certain times and the room had no air con so it was very hot and sticky. my sister was hb and said the food was good but not enough variety.there is a sunbed problem but we went on the private beach which is lovely with plenty of beds later on in the morning but round the pool someone told us to be up at least 7 30 and even then alot were gone.
after the negatives i have to say the pool and beach made up for the disappointments they are lovely with water features and a lazy river and slides the food at both the pool bars is good but you get quite alot. the bars inside are nice you can even catch up with corrie etc ifyou want. apparently the rest of the floors are being refurbished at the end of the year.

We stayed at the Adams Beach Hotel by Nissi Beach.
The hotel enteraintment was very substandard apart from three acts(nick from the uk,The Magjician and The motown Sisters). The others were total rubbish.
Talking about rubbish- rubbish is often scatered around the hotel corriders were empty bottles of beer and uneaten food left on plates seem to lay for days.
They seemed to have ben left out by the cleaners and forgotton about.
There is a sun lounger issue to get a sun bed by the pool be prepared to place your towel on the bed by 05.00am.
Hotel staff knew of the problem but are not bothered!.
Hotel location is close to Aya Nappa aroun about five Cyprus pounds in a cab to get there were there are some great resturants to visit.

My partner our two children and another family have just come back from our two week holiday to AB. Upon arrival we were impressed with the overall appearence of the hotel. It took a while to check into the hotel, only due to us trying to upgrade to a queen suite.Prior to arrival we had requested an upgrade from a kids suite, but to our disappointment we werent able to upgrade but our friends had been allocated one even tho they only had one child of 12 and we had one of 12 and a baby aged 2.Although we had a fantastic view of the sea and pool,if you are a family of 2 or more children I would definately recommend the queen suite,it was far more spacious with an extra wardrobe, bathroom and sofas. They are located away from the hotel by the pools but if you have a buggy they are more spacious for the extra baby bits. This was very disapointing for us that we got the smaller room as we needed the extra room,I feel the hotel should have thought more wisely about room allocation as we booked our holiday with our friends!

I was impressed with the hotel in general, the pool was fantastic for the kids, they loved the slides and the lazy river. The slides were on at regular intervals during the day but not open all the time. The pool bar was great for cocktails, but we didn't rate the food. The restuarant overlooking the sea on the other side served much nicer tasting food plus you get a fab view!

The hotel entertainment was a bit dier!We went to saturday night fever which was terrible....god knows what Simon Cowell would have said!!! But I would recommend the Magic show the guy was very funny and my little girl got a dog balloon at the end which made her day!

We did find the hotel a little overpriced,so after eating their the first night we decided to walk to the restuarants 10 minutes down the road.We found an AMAZING place called the Garden, the food was exceptional and it had a fantastic play area for the kids!We ended up eating there about 6 times! Then after the meal we had a great time next door in the garden bar where they did Kareoke....where they get the audience involved, great excuse for a free shot!
We also found another superb restaurant called Yo Thai, this is very new so some taxi drivers didn't know where this was, heading towards Agia Napa its on the right. We went twice the secomd time we decided to try Tepinayki which was the best night us and the kids had....you must try if you like a laugh!

We also found a place called Landa beach, which was gorgeous, you can get to this by walking round the edge of the bay from the hotel. When the wind is blowing away from the sea the water is so clear its like being in the carribean!Dont go if the wind is blowing in from the sea as the water gets full of rubbish apparently blown in from Eygpt!!

At the hotel we met every night in the Piano bar, this was our favourite place with the lady playing on the piano every night, and in the corner a beautiful myst effect over a water feature which gave the room a lovely feel!If you like cocktails try the blue moon!!!

Overall I found the staff very freindly and our stay was very enjoyable! The hotel shop is very very convenient and you can buy just about anything you need in there, you can charge this to your room which i did every day,but this soon adds up so beware!!!

I have read previous reviews and I didn't find the weddings too bad, there were some going on but they didn't effect us in any way and to be honest didn't take much notice,we also managed to get sunbeds on the beach by the baby pool although I think its harder to get them on the pool side!

I would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to visit Cyprus!

Just returned from a two week holiday at Adams with my partner (now husband 2 children age 1 and 10 and other family and friends...absolutely loved it)...free upgrade on arrival!! We had originally planned to get married there in the chapel but on arrival seeing how close it was to the water slides, it was a no no!!!! Also I didn’t fancy walking through the pool area with my lovely wedding dress on...(for anyone planning to get married here, the chapel is a no go!!).

Luckily enough we had booked our wedding separately through a English Cypriot wedding service called 'Aphrodite’s wedding service'...absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!.. Recommend them to anyone. We had our first meeting with them on our second day. I explained to them that I did not want to get married in the chapel as it was too near the slides and that I didn’t want to walk through the pool area to get to it...people topless etc etc. Sandra (wedding coordinator) sorted it all out and changed it to Ayia Napa monastery...wow it was amazing. We then went on to have our champagne reception and evening meal in the garden of Eden in Macronissos...wowwwwww again absolutely fantastic.. If it wasn’t for Aphrodite’s wedding service swapping and changing everything our wedding would have NOT been as amazing and perfect as it was.

I think Adams beach is easily a four star hotel, 5 star in some parts....the piano bar and restaurant. We stayed at the back off the hotel in the queens suites were the surroundings are in need of refurbishment. The entertainment wasn’t that good either; they had 2 shows on prior to us leaving. The pool area was fab for my 10 year old son he loved it in the lazy river and on the slides...I feel that the hotel is very expensive(both to get to and to stay in) and for the price we paid you could get a better 5 star quality hotel.

I am really glad that I didn’t get married here as there are around 3-4 weddings a day, especially in the gardens. One couple getting married whilst the other party waiting in reception for theirs!!!!!! Very busy. They would also have their reception either in the outdoor restaurant with all the public sunbathing or eating in their swimsuits...not my cup of tea or even in the dining hall at night. Again with other holiday makers!!!!

Overall I really enjoyed my 2 week holiday in Cyprus; I will be planning on returning at some point to celebrate our anniversary. Most probably go to the Garden of Eden!!!!...loved it

Me my now wife and 1yr old son went to AB to get married in Sept 06. We arrived in early morning and found the night porter very helpful.

We arrived at our room and were quiet pleased with what we found.

In the morning when we went for breakfast although still tired we were in aww of the hotel as it was fantastic, the food was wonderful and the pools and beach and all other facilities were mint.

Cheap taxi ride into town so location was great also, wedding could not have gone better and me and my wife will definitely return in the next few years

Still very warm in Sept so plenty of cream required. Brilliant place to go!

This was the second time that I had stayed at the Adams Beach hotel. It was the third for my boyfriend and his family. The last time we went to this hotel back in 2004, it was the best holiday ever. The hotel was amazing and quite overwhelming in some respects as it was so nice. Unfortunately, this year we found that the hotel has now got its 5 star status and it is a shame that not everything was quite right this time around.

When we arrived at the hotel, we went up to our rooms and we were disappointed with the view. It sounds silly, but you don't want to be looking at the sea but trying to see past the roof of the hotel!

We complained the receptionist and the duty manager and they were very helpful. We wouldn't of been particularly bothered about the rooms and views if it was our first time, but seeing as it was a 3rd, we had been promised an upgrade and 'three of the best rooms' (obviously not including executive/presidential suites!) had been reserved for us. I use quotation marks as my boyfriend’s dad had emailed the hotel before we went and they had told us this.

Luckily, we managed to get moved to three superior rooms on the 4th floor, which were great and so were the views. I would recommend spending that little bit extra to stay in one of these, as they are a lot larger that the normal rooms.
Unfortunately mine and my boyfriend's room was a bit of a let down as we had to put up with an air con leak for the full length of our 2 week stay. It literally poured out of the ceiling. The carpet was never dry.

We complained several times and the maintenance people came to fix it several times, but it didn't improve. Being quite curious as to what was leaking so badly, my boyfriend lifted one of the ceiling panels up and we were amazed to find an old soaking wet towel and a bucket up there, which was obviously not working! We even found a few pencils up there! Now we know that air con may be difficult to fix, but this was ridiculous. It was obvious that the hotel new about it as the towel had been there for weeks. There was one time when my boyfriend walked into the bathroom and practically got drenched by a big splash of water that came out of the ceiling unexpectedly! It was awful and very annoying! You had to dodge the drips as you went out the door.

We also noticed the ridiculous amount of weddings at the hotel. You couldn't walk through the gardens without having to stop and wait for a photographer to take wedding photos. It made me feel quite awkward - as though I was intruding on someone’s special day.
The sun bed issue is absolutely crazy! I had to get up at 5.30 to get 6 sun beds together. It is true - if you go down to the pool even at 8.00am - nearly every single sun bed is taken. I can't remember it being like that before. The Jacuzzi was broken as well.

Considering that the AB is now 5 star - it has gone down in my opinion. There were fixtures and fittings all over the hotel that were broken. It looked shabby and this is a great shame as it is a nice hotel. The lifts broke on numerous occasions and a lot of them were quite dirty - especially the glass ones.

I have to say that the hotel staff are brilliant. The receptionists are really helpful and polite. The cleaners are great. The bar staff are really good - especially the ones in the piano bar.

Overall, this hotel is really nice but it has seemed to of gone of course. I know it is getting fully refurbished in the winter, so hopefully next time we go it will back the standard that it was when we were there a few years ago.

P.S If weddings/getting up stupidly early for sun beds or cats do your head in then don't go. Otherwise you'll enjoy it.

P.S.S Take a rain coat to avoid leaky air con if it turns out you've got room 452!

Stayed for our 4th visit commencing 7th June 2006. As repeat visitors we can now tell the difference from our original visit in 2002. Can I firstly state that not everyone loves a wedding, they were happening at up to 4 a day, bringing along with the wedding party guests who are not used to staying in 4/5 star accommodation, and will probably never return, lets just leave it at that! But AB take note, we are your regulars, but maybe not for much longer!

We have never experienced reserving sunbeds at AB on our three previous visits, but let's go back to the weddings, you may get a wedding party, with guests, up to 40 in the party, and it seems that one designated guest has the responsibility of reserving all the sunbeds TOGETHER IN A ROW, FROM 6.30 a.m. (bearing in mind that we stayed there this year in the quiet period just after Spring Bank). Go down around the pool at 9.00 a.m. and you've had it!

Bearing in mind that AB has applied for Official 5 star rating next year after a refurb, they will have to get their act together, cos' if I couldn't get a sunbed then, I wouldn't be pleased! There should be a sunbed for EVERY GUEST in a 4/5 star!

The Staff, lots of them have been there since our first visit, can't do enough for you and I can't praise them enough.

Overall feel was that the place needed an overhaul. We were shocked when we walked into our 'spacious superior room'it certainly contravened health and safety.

There were two camp beds for the children 12 and 13)One bed was broken and nearly took my sons eye out and they should not have been offered to anyone over 5 stone as the children were in agony in the mornings.

Because of the lack of space one bed was under a console table and the other was up against the balcony window so that you had to climb over it to sit out. Fridge was broken as was iron.

We moved to an 'executive superior room' but to be honest it gave us a couple more inches. If you are taking two children get another room.

Breakfast not as good as Hotel Miramar which is a 3* but evening meals are fantastic. We did however go into the local town most nights as it was cheaper. You will need a taxi to go to Ayia Napa.

Hotel staff (except management)were extremely kind and courteous especially lady in Piano Bar who comes from London.

Entertainment - forget it unless you have small children
Gym well equipped but no trainer and broken music centre.
We have stayed in Cyprus on a few occasions and cannot understand how this hotel gets a 5*, I feel like I was ripped off, I have stayed at better 3*'s. If you want to stay at a 5* go to Le Meridian Spa.

I’ve found all the reports on the Adams Beach Hotel immensely useful…pleased to add my family’s views after our holiday!

We travelled on 13th November for a two week stay. We’d originally planned to go to Paphos, but this hotel/travel group was offering such a good deal (room upgrade, free car hire and free half board) and we were advised that Agia Napa would be quiet but not completely closed, so we made a split decision and thankfully it was the right one!

The AB is a very impressive looking hotel. Miles of marble and glass. Very comfortable public areas and great outside spaces built around pools and a couple of bars. Checking in was painless, and our ton of luggage was lugged upstairs by a porter … very welcome! The Executive Room was more spacious than we expected. Nice and clean. Plenty of wardrobe space. Big TV with hotel info, pay for movies and playstation games. Kids aged 8 and 10 slept on two beds made from the converted sofa … this made for a bit less room but was plenty comfortable enough for two weeks. Bathroom was a decent size. Luxury fitting, big bath and good water pressure. Loads of towels. All you need!

One word of warning… my husband and I were unpacking, so we threw the tv remote to the kids. As you do! However two of the channels provided extreme hard core porn…and you got 30 second of it before the screen semi-blanked to tell you to pay for more. Not good at all.

The pool areas at the AB are very impressive, as is the little private beach. It was a very quiet part of the season, so there was plenty of room. Some of the pool facilities were not in use – bubble jets, jacuzzi and the like. This was because although the weather was fine, no guests were using the pool except for us 4 mad brits! We did ask for the slides to be turned on every now and again – this was done without any problems.

The indoor pool is nice although I’ve swum in warmer! There’s a fantastic spa and gym area…very well equipped but sadly let down by the most rude and unfriendly staff. You know, beauticians and gym instructors who look you up and down first. I’d gone prepared to spend a decent amount of money on treatments…I felt utterly intimidated and didn’t bother. Generally staff are very helpful and very efficient, if not overly friendly. You get the impression that professionalism comes first and foremost, and there’s little chance for staff to let their personalities shine through.

Food was buffet style and quite impressive. Every night was themed and there was plenty of choice. The breakfast buffet was good too. There was an affordable room service menu and the usual outrageously priced minibar.

Talking prices: hotel drinks charges were typical of its star rating – quite high. Everything can be charged to your room – including what you spend in the better priced hotel supermarket. The luxury and convenience of this makes for a shocking bill at the end of the holiday!!! Interestingly enough, phone calls back to the UK were cheap. There’s also an internet point down in the reception for people needing to keep in contact.

Our stay was decidedly low season. The benefit of this was definitely the great deal. However 99 per cent of fellow guests (and there weren’t many – hotel was perhaps 20% capacity) were OAPs. Ours were the only children staying…not a problem for us, but if you want more company, then I’d advise going at a different time. The hotel was still advertising children’s club, although it’s not something we took advantage of. The beach restaurant and beachside bar were completely shut. Entertainment was very limited. Every evening the resident trio played easy listening type music in the piano bar. I imagine that this improves in the high season.

Overall an excellent hotel, we got exactly what we expected and a bit more too.

We arrived at 4.30 am to be greeted by the night porter who was most helpful. We had seen the hotel on a TV programme and it looked amazing, but in real life it was even better, it has a WOW factor.

The first thing we noticed was how clean it was.

It didn't take us long to get to the hotel as we were in a small minibus from the airport and we only had two or three drop off's, the Adam's Beach Hotel was within walking distance of some shops and restaurants, although this is best done at night and not during the heat of the day. You could spend your entire holiday on this Hotel site as everything that you need is here.

The Hotel staff were amazing, from the lady who cleaned your room every day (your night attire set out on the bed ) to the staff on reception, all very helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough for you.

As we were in Cyprus for our wedding we didn't see the entertainment, as we had family staying at other hotels in Cyprus, so we went out most nights, but some we heard and it sounded very good.

We would definitely go again and highly recommend it to others. A couple of days after we arrived the Adams Beach Hotel achieved its 5 star status, well deserved too.

We stayed at this hotel for our Honeymoon.
On arriving at the hotel we were greeted by a porter who offered to take our bags and on checking in we were told that we had been upgraded to a executive suite as we were on our honeymoon.
In the room was a bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit basket to welcome us.

On exploring the hotel we found lots of pools, the Nissi bay supermarket and a private beech.
Shops within the hotel were not always open and one not at all while we were there.
Staff were very friendly, as were the holiday reps.
Food was nice and you never had to wait long for room service.
I could not find fault with this hotel

My partner & I stayed here with our 5 & 8 year old last week. I decided to post a review as I found it so useful reading previous reviews before going myself.

The first impression is of grandeur as you enter the reception with cool marble & chandeliers. The reception staff are efficient & polite (if not particularly friendly) & we had no delays in being checked into our room. Our bags were taken up by a porter which was welcomed.

We had booked a kids suite as this provides a room that can be partitioned off for privacy with bunk beds & a separate TV for the kids. We were a little disappointed with the size of the room though as there was very little extra space, even with the kids bit at the end. Beware that if you close the partitions the kids section does not receive the air conditioning. However, there was plenty of storage space, the room was clean & there were plenty of towels, blankets & the bathroom was spacious with two showers.

The balcony was large although we didn't have the doors open to this very often as the air conditioning would switch off. This, by the way, was efficient, although required your room card to operate so make sure you get two so that you can leave it in when you go out.

The room was cleaned every day & was pretty thorough - our 5 yr old made greasy handprints with his suntan lotion all over the mirror & they were cleaned off the next morning.

The pool was a hit with the kids & was very safe & clean. I agree with previous posts about it being a little tired around the edges but it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment. I liked the ability to order poolside drinks from waiting staff who would wander past regularly & this cost no extra than going up to the bar. The hotel also provided towels for your use at the pool. As we went in peak time I fully expected to have problems finding sunloungers & if you arrived at the pool between 11am & 2pm you'd be lucky to find one. Again, though, I just set my alarm for 7am, reserved two sunbeds (if you can't beat 'em...) & then went back to sleep. I expect out of peak season there isn't a problem at any time of day.

I thought the cost of food & drink within the hotel were pretty high. It cost the equivalent of £40 for lunch for 2 adults & 2 kids. The quality was ok, as was the service, but the breakfast buffet (included in B&B) was a bit of a free for all & we ordered it in our room a couple of times to avoid the scrum. Not a problem if there's just two of you I expect, but quite tiring with two young kids who were exhausted from the night before!

The real bonus of this hotel, above all else, for me, was the location. It couldn't be better for the main Nissi Beach (just a short walk away), although there was also a small private beach, & was far enough away from Ayia Napa town to be peaceful yet was only a short taxi ride away. The waterpark (fantastic by the way) was also only five minutes up the road in a taxi.

Apart from the similarly priced Nissi Beach Resort, I couldn't see another hotel that would have been better located in the area.

The entertainment was pretty typical for abroad - mostly dire & poorly organised although the kids club kept our two amused for a few days. They even said though that it wasn't as good as kids clubs they've been to in the UK.

We would travel back to this resort but would maybe look at self-catering apartments now we've got a handle on the area.

We stayed at Adams Beach from Sept 10 - 15, our first visit to Cyprus.

Overall, the hotel is good. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, good rooms.

The pool area is getting tired - planted areas are scruffy, lots of litter around edges, concreted areas beginning to crumble. Pool pumps, fountains etc. were switched on late every day (as late as 11am one day) and switched off early (usually 4.30pm) despite pool opening hours being 8am until sunset. We got the impression that pool staff were keen to get rid of you!

There is as far as we are concerned a huge minus for the location of the hotel, which nobody seems to mention (so maybe it's just us!). At the front of the hotel, where the most expensive full sea-view rooms are located, is the Nissi Bay beach bar. This opens every day at 9am and closes at 6pm. From midday until 6pm it pumps out garage and rap music at full volume, including DJ commentary. The consequent 'thump, thump, thump.....' of this 'music' can be heard and felt throughout all external areas of the hotel and makes sitting out on the balcony of your full sea-view room during these hours near impossible (unless you can put up with the noise). This didn't spoil the holiday for us, but we would not have stayed at Adams Beach had we known or been warned about the beach bar, nor will we return to this particular hotel.

We stayed at Adams Beach in Nissi bay for two weeks and what a fantastic two weeks we had, other than one day visiting the waterpark, we never left the hotel,it was fab.

On arrival we were swiftly checked into our kids suite that we had upgraded to, the helpful porter took our luggage to the top floor and we opened the doors to a beautiful pool and sea view it was perfect.

The room consisted of a double bed and two bunkbeds separated by sliding doors, it was lovely and spotless clean, however that evening when the children went to bed and we closed the doors to their section of the room, this also blocked out the aircon to them and sleeping with no aircon in july temps is impossible, so we had to open the doors again to allow the children to sleep !

As we had paid an upgrade fee of £240.00 for this room we felt it a total waste of money, so the next day we complained to reception, within half an hour we were moved into an upgraded queen suite out next to the pools at no extra charge, this consisted of two rooms, a sitting area and two bathrooms fantastic, full marks to receiption for sorting our complaint out swiftly with no fuss and even sent the porter to move our luggage again for us, excellent, This was our only complaint during our stay and it was sorted immediately, therefore I wouldn't recommend anyone paying extra for a kids suite it's not worth the extra, the family rooms are equally nice and benefit from full aircon.

The main areas around the hotel, reception, bars, restaurants are spotless clean and very luxurious. The pools are fantastic all interconnecting and not too deep for the children, the slides are great fun and open for most of the day from about 10am until 5pm and close for about an hour at lunch time, this is mainly due to the fact that there is a life guard always present. lots of nice jacuzzi and fountain pools to relax in too.

Their was never a problem with obtaining a sunbed and the hotel also provide pool towels daily, they strongly request that you use their towels as it allows staff to ensure that only hotel guests are using the pools and no locals sneak in off the near by nissi beach ( which is also very nice although littered with cigarette ends!!).

The entertainment team are always on hand offering somekind of activity to keep you amused, volleyball, aqua aerobics, etc, but no pressure to take part if you're not interested. Our kids had a ball at the kids club which is on mornings and again in the afternoons, again loads of activities inside and out to keep your little darlings happy, we hardly saw ours for the fortnight!. The kids team are super, they really genuinely enjoy their job and have always got time to talk to the children ( even after their shift for the day is over).

The evening entertainment always commenced with the mini disco which again was super for the little ones, then followed on by a show or bingo or a quiz etc, sometimes the singing could be a bit poor but on the whole for holiday entertainment it was okay.

The food was excellent, breakfast was inside each day and was buffet, had everything from cereal to full cooked, yoghurts, fruit, crossiants etc etc etc.

Evening Dinner was always outside on the terrace and again provided a buffet of exceelent choice, soups, salads, about six choices of main dishes, lots of lovely desserts, fruit etc etc etc. Their was only one night we didn't enjoy and that was barbeque and a lot of the main dishes mainly consisted of lumps of meat with lots of bones, we personally don't like that, but on the whole, again top marks for food.

The cost of drinks and food at the hotel was not cheap, infact I would say it was particularly expensive ( £1.60 for a coke!) but it's a five star hotel, you really couldn't expect anything else, they do have an onsite supermarket, so it is possible to buy drinks cheaper their.

There were lots of weddings at the hotel, mainly british couples who brought along most of their family for the happy occassion, of the ones we saw , they all seemed very well orgainsed and everyone happy, It would be a beautiful place to get married if anyone was thinking about the hotel for that, they have a marriage room in the hotel and also a small chapel next to the sea, very nice.

We didn't venture from the hotel, mainly because we have been to ayia napa before and seen it all, but for anyone who did want to go it would take about 40mins walk or 4cyp in a taxi, their are a few shops and restaurants only a few mins walk from the hotel.

In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel ( just don't bother with the kids suite, unless you complain and also get free upgrade!!!) everything and everyone within was excellent, we were sorry to leave, even the children were crying on the coach on the way to the airport.

On arrival at this fabulous hotel our luggage was brought to our very spacious side sea view room by a porter. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, and was cleaned every day. The whole hotel was spotless and we couln't fault the communal areas.

The breakfast was great with huge choice and you were brought to a clean and set table by a waiter not trying to find a clean table among the mass of used ones (as we previously found in the Napa Mermaid).

The only fault we would have was the same piano player / singer in the bar every night but this did not affect us as we go were out every night.

There are so many restaurants in Ayia Napa you would be mad to stay in at night.

This was our 5th visit to cyprus having previously stayed in the Mermaid (twice), Bella Napa and the Grecian Sands and this is by far the best hotel in Ayia Napa so much so we are looking forward to our return visit on July 3rd this year.

2nd year in a row we've stayed here and again it was absolutely fab. Met loads of people especially families with similar aged teens to myself (17/18).

It was in the perfect location, literally a 1 min walk 2 the nissi beach (class) and a 10 min taxi ride to the nightlife of Ayia Napa itself. Its out of it just enough to get a decent night sleep and the staff are cool with youngsters strolling in at 3/4a.m as long as your not too rowdy.

I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for two weeks and actually went over to get married. I can’t say anything bad about the hotel it was excellent.

We had our wedding reception there and they treated us like royalty. Even after the reception they were fantastic leaving bottles of wine in our room and giving us a free dinner for two in the restaurant.

I would definitely recommend it to people of all ages and we are going again this September.
