Initially we were disappointed with the hotel in comparison to other trukish all inclusives we have stayed in.

This was mainly because there were extras we had not encountered before eg extra for orange juice at breakfast, a charge for the safe, extra for cocktails and bacardi and 3 euros for a game of pool which cost us a fortune throughout with 4 boys.

The rooms were basic and the beds uncomfortable but we had a duplex room which was a very large room downstairs with a double and single bed and bsthroom and a very larger double room and a single room and bathroom upstairs, so after hearing that the other rooms were the size of a cell we felt lucky.

Few days settled we felt the complex was good. A nice beach although shingle, with fab jetties with fab beds, a quiet pool, action pool and water slide pool which was great. Didnt have to grab a bed much before 11am. Complex huge brilliant alacarte resturants especially chinese, lovley patisserie, serving cakes and ice cream all day.

Snack bars and resturants very good. Lady making flat bread all afternoon great. Kids club brilliant as is the playground.

Evenings a little boring, walk 10min to ampitheatre but could not get a drink there, entertainment ok if it was near bar keeping the kids happy whilst adults had a drink and break but not good enough top sit there giving it your undivided attention for 1.5 hrs. Bar area nothing on until disco at 11pm so rather dull.

Overall enjoyed hol it was like a little village very pretty. Would not retun anywhere but if you have booked this go and enjoy.

really good holiday was had here, hotel is a little dated but the food was fab, lots of choice and served HOT. Was a bit in the middle of nowhere so you really had to enjoy sitting in the same bar each evening but the bar staff were friendly and helpful. Free bus will take you into bodrum in the day and if i remember occasionally goes in the evening. This hotel is perfect if you have kids they have plenty for them to do as the animation team there will keep them busy and to be honest they really look like they enjoyed their job. would definatley recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have just come back from Club Voyage Torba. We arrived at the hotel and we were meet by are family who had been in the hotel for 1 week they told use it had been like watching paint drying. This is are fifth time in Turkey and I am very disapointed about this hotel.

Staff were friendly but did not speak very much english the rooms were very small. All the shows which we went to were not in English there was glass broken around the main entrance there was cats on the tables where you would eat your food. Then they told use we would have to pay 90 euros to extend our check out time but we did not have any money left so me my wife and 2 kids of 3 amd 8 had to sleep at the side of the pool until 0130.

The tv in your room had 1 part English program please just stay away.

We have just returned from Club Voyage Torba. The comments we make below were completed on the hotel questionnaire and also within the Thomas Cook survey.

Overall the hotel is in a excellent location on the coast, with lovely panoramic views. The central facilities, main restaurants etc are well presented.

Food was well prepared. We only ate at the main poolside food area. The a la carte restaurants had to be booked in advance and we needed more flexibility with a young child.

Staff were generally very friendly. Waiters and poolside staff were very good. Reception staff were far less helpful and even inflexible. We were charged 50 Euros for extending our check-out time from noon (the default position for all) until 14:30. Other guests were not even given this option.

Room quality is the weakest part of the hotel and the discussion point of virtually every guest we met. They are very small, in need of refurbishment and are not in keeping with a 4-star rating from our previous experiences. Our room was near a generator plant and noisy during the day. Other guests complained of noise from late night entertainment, broken a/c units and not having the correct view or room configuration.

For us, the points fed back to the hotel which need to addressed are:
1) The rooms need urgent refurbishment
2) The hotel layout is not pushchair friendly. Few ramps and some situations were stairs are the only option e.g. to the main pool and main restaurant.
3) There was often broken glass on the poolside decking. The waiters would not clear this leaving it to guests to resolve.
4) Sunbeds were not available unless towels were in place before 8am

All things weighed up, we would return to this resort, but not in peak season and not with a young family.

Our 2 week holiday was fantastic. We were all inclusive and colud not fault the food at all a wide range of food for all. The main buffet resteraunt was a bit repetitive but we did stay for 2 weeks. There are 2 other snack bars where you can eat too. You can get freshly made pizzas, burgers, hotdogs etc.

The hotel cleanliness was 5* there were always people cleaning. Picking up leaves to cleaning your room daily. We even saw people cleaning areas on the beach too.

The location of this hotel was perfect u could travel to Bodrum on a dolmus for around 50p. But this hotel caterd for everyone and everything so no need really to leave it. Even a market came to the hotel twice a week so if you needed to buy gifts then you could without leaving.

The staff were fantastic so friendly and always happy and wiling to help you, even with them working 15-16 hour days. They really made our holiday!!!!

Entetainment was good. They do so well as many nationalities visit this hotel. There was something for everyone even our 3 year old son enjoyed!!!

Would i ever return???
Yes most definitly I would. We have already inquired for next year alredy!!!! I would recommend this to anyone!!!

Just returned from Club Torba last week, we all had a fab time and would definatly recommend this property.

The only fault I would say with this accomodation is that the rooms are small but when you consider the amount of time you actually spend in there it didn't really matter to us. They were cleaned daily and mini bar restocked daily with coke, fanta and water.
All public areas are very clean and tidy.

The food was excellent with a wide variety of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We visited the Italian and the Chinese restaurants which were both delicious (you get 6 courses!). We went at 8.30pm and as these restaurants close at 10pm we felt they rushed you through your courses so if you can book to go earlier.
The snack bars also offered a good choice eg pizza, pasta, kebabs etc all cooked fresh to order.

There are 3 pools to choose from including the one in the waterpark. We found that the waterpark pool and the one next to it were the busiest, the pool next to the restaurant had more sunbeds available although there is only one side of the pool that is shaded.
The beach has plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas if you prefer to be in the shade.
The slides in the waterpark are great for all ages and there is some smaller slides for the little ones.

The kids play area looked quite impressive. It was in its own section with a big sandpit and outdoor play area and it looked like it was a big summer house with toys inside. The kids area again was very clean and tidy and looked quite new.

The patisserie serves cakes and ice cream throughout the day the only downside to this is that you can only get ice cream in here so by the time you have walked back to the pool with them they have all melted!

We only went to the entertainment once and that was the bingo, was a good laugh and loads of prizes were given out.

One thing to remember is this is a hotel aimed at an international market so don't be surprised that not everybody is English!

All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. They all have their security passes around their necks stating their name and job. The animation team also show on theirs different flags with stars above each one showing how well they speak each language which is quite helpful.

The hotel is quite a large complex but well sign posted so you shouldn't get lost!

Torba is a very quite area with only a couple of shops an restaurants outside. The dolmus stops outside the hotel which takes you into Bodrum for 1.7 lira per person. Alternativly there is a taxi rank outside also.

Would definatly return to this hotel.

We have just returned from Club Voyage Torba and can't wait to go back!

I cannot praise this hotel enough, the staff are fantastic, they cannot do enough for you from the reception staff, to the cleaning ladies, waiters and a fantastic entertainment team.

The rooms are fairly basic but more than enough for somewhere you only need for sleep!

The food is available virtually 24 hours a day and there is so much choice. The al a carte restaurants are really worth a visit - get acquainted with the booking system fairly early on and you should have no problems getting in.

With hindsight some advice I would give is check out the menus at the 6 al a carte before you book (just remember the food in these restaurants - althought beautifully prepared is only an interpretation of that nations cuisine and might not be what you expect).

The pools are fantastic too - three to choose from - whether you want to relax or play there is a pool to suit you. Sunbeds are always in demand but that is the case wherever you go - there are rules about sunbed reservations - sometimes enforced by hotel staff and sometimes not.

The hotel is only a short walk to a beautiful private beach with water sports available.

Well done Club Voyage!

We stayed here in October so the weather was so so. One day it rained so much, which didn't help because the dining hall is outside with only a roof so it was blasting us from the sides. I don't think they expect so much rain at that time of the year because the hotels drainage couldn't cope and it was flooding everywhere. But in all fairness to the staff they worked so hard at sweeping it up. All the other days were fairly good and it was nice to sit outside.

The food itself suited me as i will eat or try most things. if your a picky eater you will probably live on chips.

Breakfast - Cereal, fruit, bread, jams, english style breakfast, freshly cooked pancakes, omelettes and eggs which were divine. Had to queue for these as they were so popular but worth the wait.

Lunch/Tea - Different everynight but the same as you get in most hotels. The food which was freshly cooked had big queues so it did take a while.

The entertainment wasn't up to much but the entertainment team did there best. Its mainly for the dutch/germans as these are 99% of the guests.

The location was on the beach. The hotel grounds have a private part of the beach so that was lovely. they have a jetty going out with sunbeds all on it which was fantastic. There wasn't much nightlife but we knew this before we booked. Torba is very quiet but it only takes a 5 minute bus drive into Bodrum and there always seemed to be a bus outside out hotel.

The hotel was sparkling clean and there was always maids and gardenings cleaning everywhere you looked. The only problem was the rooms weren't up to much in my opinion for a 4* hotel. But we don't stay much in the room so it was never a problem to us

I would visit this hotel again but not at this time of the year.

Stayed for a week early September, 2006.

Very nice looking hotel with its own sandy beach. Has five speciality restaurants and a main buffet style restaurant with a good choice of food and drinks. Very international clientele hardly any english people there.

Our tour company only had 6 others staying there and it is a big place.

On second night there visited the Turkish Speciality Restaurant. Next morning started to feel ill and had sickness/diaorrhea for 24 hours. Hotel doctor had me put on a drip in my hotel room. Could not eat much for days nor venture out on any trips.Spoilt my holiday. My husband also got a stomach problem later in the week.

The food looked lovely but I was wary of it after the above.

Reasonable selection of drinks. A few bars. Entertainment team shows very funny. Not always aware of what was going on. Sign posting on site not great. Takes a while to know your way round site.

Had I not been ill I would have liked the holiday. Some staff quite friendly. Did not find reception or guest liason overly helpful.

Our room was small and had weird big but only 4" wide shelves to the side of the wardrobe for clothes.

We were a 5 minute drive from Bodrum.Hotel supplied beach towels each day which was very handy. Water sports looked interesting, good selection on site.

On site disco and beach party held one night with fireworks. Open air cinema one night too.

On arrival we were allocated a room with only 3 beds, but after talks with reception were upgraded to a much larger room with balcony, 2 bedrooms etc at a charge lot less than if we had booked this type of room originally. Rooms were cleaned every day by very pleasant staff.

Food very good at all restaurants ie. buffet and all A La Carte restaurants.

Daytime entertainment/activities were very good, although evening entertainment was just ok for adults but was good for the children.

All the hotel complex was immaculately clean, and slide pool incorporating 6 slides was a real bonus for the children.

Transfer time from airport only 45 mins - excellent.

Great hotel for busy days and relaxing evenings.

My beautiful girlfriend and I have just returned from this fabulous hotel. We stayed for a week and wished we would of booked 2 weeks.

I have been to some superb 5* hotels in Turkey before with family and this although a 4* definetly is just as good as any hotel I'd been to.

The cleanliness was second to none, you had someone coming round cleaning all the glasses and sweeping the floors every 5mins.

The hotel layout was fantastic, so much space and beautiful gardens in the surrounding areas. The only downfall is we found it hard to find our room the first few days, lol, as every pathway looks simular.

The beach was in a brill location, right on the premises and a beautiful beach with sunbeds always free considering we went when it was busy.

The pools were kept clean and were lovely, there was enough restaurants and bars to go to, so you dont have to travel far if you wanted a quick drink.

The hotel staff were amazing and we made some great friends with the animation team and the bar staff, they loved us because we were a young couple and im half Turkish myself.

The beach had loads of different watersports and activities. We tried the ringos with speedboat which was so much fun.

They have proffesional phtographers all around the premises, so if you want a lovely top notch photo to cherish then look no further, think we bough about 18 photos, cost us a bomb but was worth it.

The food was pretty good, although it didn't vary much but the speciality restaurants made up for that. The fish speciality was beautiful and what a superb setting, on the beach.

The disco was brilliant but was bit disapointed the music shut at 12 because of surrounding area, we were having a great laugh then suddenly the music went off, we thought that as the bar was shut at 2 that the music would to. Wasn't a major problem but just bit disapointed.

The thing about this place is its very international, so a mix of nationalities especially Turkish. So if you do find that a bit off putting you may find it hard but we found it ok, we met a few nice English families.

The only downside was our room, very small and considering a booked a double bed room, we got 2 singles in a cramped up room. I'm not a complainer so I didnt bother. Anyway I would highly recommend this hotel, its a fantastically set out lovely hotel with so much to do. Bodrum is not to far either and we had an absolutely amazing time and would definitely think about returning. This was our 1st holiday together so the Club Voyage Torba will always hold something special for us.

We have just come back from this hotel and couldn't say I really enjoyed it apart from the company we were with.

On arrival we checked in and should have had a room for 3 adults and there was only a double bed in a very small room which would have been impossible to squeeze another bed into. Our friends apartment didn't have a balcony which she had booked so we went straight down to reception to complain eventually we got another room which wasn't great but at least a bit bigger. The rooms were very dark even with the lights on. We had mould on the ceiling in the bathroom as there was a lack of ventilation, the bathroom nearly always flooded when you took a shower it was very small and hardly any storage. We were living out of a suitcase as there were no drawers to put your underclothes etc into. Rooms were cleaned each day and the maid done the best she could but it never felt clean the bed felt damp at night and I went home with a chest infection probably because of this.

The food at the hotel was reasonable but very much the same thing every night lots of chicken, rice and pasta you also had to queue for along time for things cooked on the BBQ. The restaurant was always busy and it was not a relaxing part of the day, the seats were also very uncomfortable, and as the restaurant was open air it got very cold at night.

We tried the fish and the Italian A la carte restaurants and these were both very nice with waiter service and a good choice would recommend these.

The drinks in the hotel were poor as they seemed to be watered down with a very limited selection.

The cake selection in the passteria was very good and you could have these all day and quite late in the evening. This was the only inside place and it got rather busy at night as it was very cold in the evenings.

The pools and the beach were the best part of the hotel. No trouble getting sunbeds plenty of them, the sea was clean and the beach was lovely with good scenic views. We spent most of our time on the pontoon which was great for fishing. Fresh beach towels were provided every day so no need to take your own.

The entertainment staff were very friendly and there was things going on if you wanted but they never harassed you. Only went to see the evening show twice which were ok but nothing brilliant.

The hotel caters mainly for the Dutch and Belgians the British were definitely in the minority the fact there was 13 of us wasn't a problem but you could feel isolated if you were on your own as it is a large complex and you rarely see the same people twice.

We found the location of the hotel good it was in a quiet area with only a few bars and shops nearby but you could catch the dolmus right outside the hotel to go to Bodrum for 70p and it only takes 10mins, the dolmus runs about every 10mins. We thought Bodrum was great, though more expensive to other parts of Turkey we have been to.

I would not return to this hotel again as we have been to far better and next year we will try another destination.

We arrived in the middle of the night(don't you always!)but were greeted by friendly, helpful staff.

The complex is huge but was well lit at night & felt very safe.we didn't realise until a few days before we went that the place catered mainly for other nationalities, they don't tell you that in the brochure.

Would've had second thoughts if we had known at time of booking as I went with my two sons who disappear & leave me to chat with other holidaymakers in the evenings but there was no-one to chat to so I had the choice to sit on my own in the bar or have an early night, every night!

The entertainment wasn't up to much because it was foreign reps struggling to entertain us in english & not easy to understand. The place was clean and the grounds well maintained.there were waiters collecting glasses from around the complex at 12-1am. the beach area was very clean with plenty of sunbeds & several cold drinks stations dotted about on it.the variety of all inclusive drinks was poor but there are several bars dotted about, they just take some finding!

The food was ok,plenty of variety of fresh bread, but could be a bit of a free for all in the mornings because there was never enough knives to cut it with.lots of strange cold foods at all mealtimes which never seemed to change as well as basic salads. A fair variety of hot foods but you know if they had a lot left over because it turned up in a different guise the next night!no chips in the main food hall but found some at one of the bars at certain times of day.the pizza & pasta bar was open at lunchtimes by the childrens pool & well worth a visit for freshly cooked pizza. There seemed to be a wide variety of sweets on offer until you've been there a few days then you realise they basically the same, just dressed differently, but yummy all the same! There is a patisserie in the 24hr bar that serves lots of cakes & savouries, basically the same as the sweets without the syrup! Also look out for the lady making the crepes around the complex, she divides her time between a couple of locations.all in all,the food wasn't bad at all but sometimes spoilt by the long wait at the bbq's.

The location was a bit out of the way and very quiet for those that want a change of scenery from the complex, not really anywhere to stroll to. having said that, there is a bus stop right outside with regular bus services to several places & as always with turkish transport, very cheap.

There are a few restuarants & bars but even at the height of the season these were empty. there is a booking office for all the trips just outside the complex & these are on offer at almost half the price the reps charge.

The staff we came across were all very helpful & friendly & the cleaners especially but I think they had a hidden agenda(tips!) Our room was a good size with a double and single & still plenty of room to move. we had ample storage too so I think we just struck lucky on that score.

The dominant currency is euros, followed by German marks,English pounds and last of all, turkish lira because they have predominately europeans holidaying there.

Hope this doesn't sound too negative because we had a good holiday but I would have preferred somewhere with more English people to mix with. As you can appreciate, a 23yr old & 15yr old don't want to hanging out in bars with their mum!

By the way, don't expect much from the gym because most of the equipment is past it's best, although the treadmill was in working order when I used it every morning at 8am(working off the night befores sweets!)

I'm afraid as much as we enjoyed ourselves,we wouldn't go back & next time will ask the travel agent about the likelyhood of being outnumbered 200-1 by other nationalities! On the plus side, they demand a higher quality of everything so it may have been rubbish had we all been English!(let's face it,we do put up with some rubbish hotels!)

The hotel was amazing, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at club voyage and would love to go back again. The hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly, I especially liked the animation team they were all great!

The food was delicious and having a good variety made it even better, you never found your self eating the same thing twice as there was so much to try.

The different nights that they put on were very enjoyable, I especially liked taking part in the olympics that was done by the animation team, i loved it !

And of course my team won! I would definately visit your hotel again, keep up the good work !

Open air reception to the hotel on arrival and cleanliness of the area depicts a basic but very well kept resort.

Staff are helpful but their understanding of English is very poor. One of us spoke French which assisted us greatly as the hotel specialises in holidays for French, German, Dutch and Russian holiday makers. Total number of English families at the resort was a shock to us, 6 in all and everyone of them amazed at how few English there were here during the high holiday season.

The hotel is kept in an exemplary manner, staff are very helpful and polite, even if they do not speak good English they try to understand. - Some staff speak very good English and want to learn more from you.

The rooms are tiny, we had two twins and a room for three. The twin room for our two older children, (16, 14 yrs) was great, our room for us with the youngster was tiny. After 4 days of complaining the whole family was moved to a super duplex house at no extra charge. This type of accommodation is fantastic.

Beach area is beautiful, the pontoon area kept clean at all times and from where you can see lots of fish swimming around under you. Swimming with them was great and they would feed from your hand.

Food generally was excellent although basic food handling skills were sometimes questionable.

The pool area was at times dangerous as the slatted area / drainage area around it kept breaking, leaving a nasty deep hole for anyone to slip into a possibly break a bone or at least give a nasty sprain. The response to repair once reported ( on a daily basis) was at least 24 hrs. Beach towels are provided on a daily basis. Plenty of sun loungers and no getting up early to reserve them.
Small gym was well kitted out. Water sports were readily available and reasonably priced.

The pattisserie bar was exemplary, the choice of food etc was brilliant and it was an area to get away from it all and have 5 minutes genuine rest.

Entertainment was poor.

Good children's play area next to the smaller restaurant which provided excellent lunches and snacks with waiter service.

Bit of advice......If you are going in a group of 4 or more, book a duplex room. These sleep 6, and although you will have to pay a supplement, they are well worth it. The twin/double rooms are very small. The family rooms are a tight squeeze for 4 people.

The rooms are clean and the maids are keen to get the beds made every morning. Men are constantly sweeping the paths/mowing the lawns/cutting the trees etc to maintain the grounds.

The slides are great. The pool attendant is quite strict but the poolside is very slippy. Serkon the barman at the slide poolbar is superb. The poor guy earns £4 per day and never stops. We tipped him £30 mid week and we didn't have to wait for drinks again!

The entertainment is poor. Bingo/comedy sketches/gladiators.....pretty naff really. The disco at 11pm is great though. Good music.

Drinks are dissappointing. Beer/wine/vodka/gin if you want anything else.....tough! You're gonna have to pay for it. No cocktails either (except a gin/vodka/orange).

Food is good. 3 speciallity restaurant which you can visit once per stay. Fish/Turkish/Italian. Italian was by far the best.

The beach is super. Very clean. Watersports are reasonable. Go on the rubber rings.....brill!

Location is poor - approx 20 min bus ride into bodrum.

All in all a good holiday with plenty to do for the kids and adults too. All 4 of our children (aged 10-16) said it's the best holiday ever!!

Tip - Don't take the in-laws!!

The hotels own childrens club didn't have any English kids in, however the JMC one which is English only was brillant. Thanks to
Sara and Hayley who made my daughters holiday.

The complex itself is excellent. Very clean including the public toilets and the bar and restaurant. Staff were very friendly. Unfortunatly couldnt say the same for the reception staff.

The restaurants and food were excellent though it did start to get a bit repetative the second week. The pasta bar by the pool and freshly cooked crepes all day was an added bonus.

The two pools were very clean and the 3 waterslides were brillant. Rooms were nice but basic. Cleaner came everyday but sometimes it was a bit skimmed over.

Very limited English speaking channels on tv. Overall a fantastic holiday, brillant weather and would definatly consider going back.

Oh and not to forget the turkish bath. Ladies must have the body peel and full body massage. A definate eye opener.

The Hotel cleanliness was very good, we stayed in duplex rooms which were fantastic, we had a two stories to ourselves (family of four). This was great as it meant we had our own bathroom and so did the kids!

The food was plentiful and pretty good although the variety of snacks was limited.

Unforunately we were there the last week of the season so some of the restaurants and bars serving food had started to shut down a few days before we left.

The location for us was perfect, directly onto a private clean beach with water sports readily available. The fact that it was the last week of the season had its advantages here as there were pleny of sunbeds available and the were always pedloes and canoes available for the kids.

It was a bus ride into Bodrum, this suits us but if you prefer to be in a town then there is not much going on in Torba, only a couple of bars and a shop.

Most of the staff were very friendly, but when we tried to discuss problems with Hotel manager regarding "end of season" shut down (some bars had run out of coke etc, gym equipment removed, restaurants shut)he was very rude, and accused us of lying. When we brought him into the bar to prove we were not lying he proceeded to publicly take it out on the staff.

Entertainment was OK, but again not much going on due to "end of season".

Overall this was excellent value for money, although we joked with another family that hotel motto was "end of season", this did have some advantages as it was very quiet and due to the size of the place I would imagine in high season it could be very overpowering.

We would definitely consider going back.
