The hotel is very clean and the cleaners are brilliant. Not to much going on in the day time until the reps get there (Brian and co) The night entertainment is good but is the same next time you go. The best shows are the ones the reps do 'one week, two week wont forget you NEXT'. Well worth the money for half board, the food is like a menu you can choose from not buffet. The waiters and bar staff have new girlfriends ever time i go, dont do it ladies there mostly all the same. Good friends but s*@t lovers! Dont get me wrong i had a really good holiday just passing on the message! xx

Club Anastasia was a fabulous complex. The cleanliness of the hotel was great, the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis with the maids doing an excellent job.

The location of the complex was great for us as a family, it is'nt in the heart of Marmaris, but, its near enough to walk to if you wanted.

Hotel staff are excellent, they all work very hard. Entertainment was also good.

We enjoyed our holiday so much so that we have already booked up again for next August.

we stopped in the anastasia (must be one of the best hotels in marmaris) for 2 weeks from the 30 june 2008 fantastic hotel the room we had was massive /clean and a double bed inc 3 x balconys

the only thing i could fault it for was the air con was situated in the living area and did not cool the bedroom ..please tip the cleaning staff as they are poorly paid and do a fantastic job and are very fiendly..

the pool area very clean and a nice sized pool ..bar and pool food were very good (no money required as you put money on a club card and you use this for payments in the hotel ..worked very well..put on the club card £50.00 or more and get a 10% bonus but be carfull at the end of your holiday as any money left on card is non refundable ..just spend any where in hotel inc on site shop)..

we stoped self catering but upgraded to half board for severn nights (flexi dine) we paid £150.00 with the 1st choice for three people this was the best money i have ever spent meals fantastic inc breakfast (you can take this offer up in the hotel for £27 for 3 days £56 for 7 days and £98 for 14 days per person fantastic deal)..

hotel entertainment we did not watch but many said it was very good..hotel aprox 15min walk to beech not to far but very hot in the day be carfull and drink lots of water saw a few passing out or get the dalmus bus v cheap...

marmaris is a fantastic place for a night out and very safe to walk around and unlike last year very little hassle from the shop and bar owner..ladys of all shapes and sizes inc young females will get plenty of attention from the waiters etc and plenty of offers of marrage or a night out (just be sensible and dont be gullable ..yes we saw lots of gullable 60 yr old ladys being chased by 20 yr old waiters the same goes for the young ladys...)

all in all a fantastic two weeks holiday and turkey is still very good value for money ...excursions are very cheap from the booking offices in the street (we used uncle john nr the hotel)unlike the reps in the hotels very expensive ..all trips give you a good time out but are aimed at selling you things..jeep safari stoped at a basar /carpet shop and a secluded beech with bar etc.. and i would not go on the quad safari (poor quality buggies/quads and very little safety....the day i went i got two faulty buggies and a quad with fault steering and i iam still limping now!!!! but hey!!! we had a fantastic time .. ps say hello to farty/rekay from the on site jewelry shop....

Rooms were fine, cleaned every day. Nice big pools - plenty of room for our son to run around - music VERY loud all day which did get a bit annoying by the end of the 2 weeks. Although staff were friendly - you did get better service if you were under 25!!! The drinks were quite expensive in comparison to other places & I had to send mine back as I couldn't taste the alchohol!!! We really liked the Bella Blu restaurant - food was excellent - staff 1st class & VERY good with our son. Was a good 15-20 mins walk to beach or bar street/harbour, which was fine once you knew where you were going. Some good restaurants close by - buy 1 get 1 free drinks all night & free breakfast next day!!

After reading all the reviews already posted we were really looking forward to our stay at the Anastasia.

The rooms and hotel are kept really clean.

The food was good, although maybe a bit limited in choice for two weeks, and all the staff were fantastic, especially the waiters in Belle Blue and the bars guys in the Orange bar and Havana bar.

The staff really make you feel welcome and made the holiday. Read the reviews and visit, it is a really good family holiday. We are looking to return in August.

This was our second visit to The Anestasia and we were not disappointed. The Havana Boys were as always entertaining and Sexy Jack was still Sexy Jack.

The Hotel staff were very accommodating. The rooms were kept very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening entertainment at the Havana bar especially Jacks Barbacue.

The family entertainers(Dwane&Racheal)were great.
The food at the Bella restaurant was very good, Ismal(The Manager)was every bit as entertaining as last year.

Vulcan in the Orange Bar was as cheeky as ever.

Overall I would recommend the Anestasia to everybody we know,as quoted in the song we sang on our last night.

We had the best times of our life and we owe it all to them.

We've just returned from a week at Anastasia and we loved it. Neither of us had been to Turkey before but we have both came home with some fantastic memories and will be booking to return next year.

The hotel is very clean - in the rooms and round the pool - it is cleaned daily. The onsite restaurant, Bella Blu, is very good - food and service. Service all round is excellent - all the staff will help you wherever they can.

The hotel uses a clubcard system which we found absolutely fine - you just go to Reception and put money on it then use it anywhere in the hotel instead of cash. You get a little receipt telling you how much you've used and how much is left on it so it's really easy.

The entertainment throughout the day and at night was really good fun and there were some fantastic acts - the breakdancers in particular were great!!!

There is afternoon tea everyday at about 4pm with cake and tea/coffee - if you go to the bar and order anything they will always bring it back to your sunbed for you and ask if there is anything else you need.

Without a doubt though what made our holiday was the staff. In particular, special thanks to Ersin, Volkan and Yetis - ask them to dance on the bar with their shirts off and a sparkler and they're in their element. All of the staff at the Havana bar and the Orange bar work so hard - they are there all day and all night but still keep smiling. Nothing is too much trouble for them - they make the kids laugh and keep the adults entertained.

Thanks to everyone at Anastasia for making our holiday amazing.

Second time in 4 months to Anastasia. Love it.

Travelled with an 18year old 15 year old and 9 year old. Stayed in new block it had wooden floors and spacious seating area. We up graded to flexi- dine which was well worth it as we had a 5 course meal every night and breakfast.

A big thank you to Ismail (Dave) in Bella Bleu who again went out of his way to make our holiday enjoyable, he is fantastic and a top man.

We booked three trips opposite Madboys for £60 for 5 of us. We had a Turkish bath (a must to ensure a good tan). Jeep safari (take your own water pistols or they will charge you 10 lira to hire one) and the boat trip. All were good days out. Please go to the harbourside and try "Lavita Bell" it is half way round the harbourside next to a shop that sells scalves and pots. Again a very big hello and thank you to the fantastic Ersin who has become our friend and to the fabulous "Havana boys" who work tiredlessly all day and night and are always happy and smiling thank you to Volkan, Yetis, Mammut, Evran(Spike), Hussein, Tugborg, we will be back next year to see the "Havana boys" dancing on the bar with sparklers.xx

This was our firs time in Marmaris. First visited Turkey last June but went to Gumbet, half-board hotel, loved the country and people went back in October to Gumbet self catering both times for one week.

Heard so much about Marmaris decided to go for two weeks self-catering. Apartments first class, clean and plenty of space.

The staff were first class from the receptionists to the cleaners and off course the Havana Boys who were absolutely brilliant.

The pool was cleaned daily, as were the sunbeds which there were always plenty off anytime of the day. Food in the Bella Blue restaurant was good with plenty of choice and not expensive as was the food in the Havana Bar.

We had a few good meals out especially at the Domino restaurant down the road, the staff here were friendly as well.

Never did much, just lazed by the pool with the odd day excursion, full day boat trip all inclusive for £10, jeep safari, booked through Michelle our rep (she was ace), good day with lots to see. We both had a Turkish bath, highly recommended by Sunny and I also had a manicure which I have never had before.

I would definitely visit the Club Anastasia again as it was a wonderful 2 weeks, only wished I had stayed longer.

The entertainment was good as well, I have a great fear of snakes but at the snake show I made the point of actually going on stage and having my photograph taken with one of the big ones!!

I have never been disappointed by my visits to Turkey. Again a big thank you to the Havana Boys who made my day and my husbands.

Another excellent 2 weeks at Anastasia. We go out every year as we have family living in Marmaris and Anastasia is by far the best place we have stayed. This was our third time. Rooms are clean and maid service brilliant especially the lovely touches like turning the towels into swans and decorating with flowers.

Special thanks to the Havana boys and a special thank you to Ersin. These boys make the holiday - they work so hard and are always pleasant and make a fuss of the children - and if they are happy - mum and dad are happy!

Sometimes Jack's taste in music throughout the day at the pool can be quite strange - OK for a nightclub in Ibiza but not for chilling out in the sun. The music any other time was great and good to listen to whilst sunbathing.

Excellent holiday - thanks to you all - see you again next year.

This is the best holiday that we have ever had. We strongly recommend Club Anastasia to everyone.

All the staff are very friendly and very helpful.

The complex is immaculate, weather was brilliant.

The staff were always cleaning the place and the rooms were cleaned daily.

We had a beautiful view of the pool from our balcony, we were in the new block which has a shower. We were very pleased with our room.

The kids club is free and runs from 10am until 12pm, then from 4pm until 6pm. Our 6 yr old daughter loved the kids club, they kept her busy doing different things for the 2 weeks that we were there.

Club Anastasia prefers everyone to put their money onto a card and use this card to buy food and drinks in the complex, havanna bar, restaurant and shop but many people preferred to just use cash to pay for things that way you can keep an eye on how much money you are spending. We were self catering anyway so we just eat out all the time at different places in Marmaris. Club Anastasia's restaurant which is called Bella Bleau their food is really good.

10/10 for Club Anastasia, see you next year Club Anastasia! A super duper holiday and recommended to everyone.

The hotel was amazing we arrived in the early hours of the morning, a young man carried our cases up 4 flights of stairs never had this done before on any holiday. The maids would also make hearts and other patterns out of towels amazing.

The 1st week was boiling and we went out a lot the second week rained loads so we stayed at the hotel and there was plenty to do even wen we were bored. We were constantly entertained by the 'Havana Boys' these were the lads that worked at the Havana bar all day and night these boys make the holiday and without them I don't think it would be the same. These are the best friends you will ever make in such a short period of time we are both going back next year can't wait.

We have just returned from a fabulous 2 week holiday in club Anastasia which we will most definitely be returning to in the future.

We had a very comfortable stay and most enjoyable,
we have been to Marmaris 3 times now and this is the best place we have stayed in by far

Every one is very friendly and the food at the Havana bar is superb and good quality for money

Card system is brilliant, didn’t really fancy this at first but I can honestly say it is a great idea and more places should introduce this system

When we first arrived the room was to small for us as we have two teenage boys but the next day the manager had found us another room which was excellent and he was more than obliging very much appreciated

We thought all the activities on a daily basis was excellent and all the different stands etc kebabs, fresh orange, water melon, tea and cake and even toffee apples and candy floss for the kids some nights

We were very impressed and would recommend this place to any one who wants an excellent holiday

Where to start? Check-in smooth (desk staff efficient, friendly and professional, very helpful & speak very good English).

We knew about the card system & put money on ours straight away (always put more than £50 on you then get 10% bonus) they won't tell you this but becareful you won't get any excess back at the end of your holiday. If this happens though just spend it in the supermarket-no more expensive than equiv. in area but for main shop go to TANSAS in town).

Our room was on the first floor in a block with no lift - not a problem for us but there were two more floors above us - not too much fun if you have a child in a buggy. I understand there are three types of room, its a bit of a lottery which type you get, the ones in the two older blocks are smaller with not too much storage space (although these have lifts),the slightly newer ones (ours) were bigger-more than adequate-but with very little storage (two wardrobes with 6 hangers & 2 small drawers) again not too much of a problem for us - the children's clothes just stayed in their suitcases but if it were FOUR young women I shudder to think! The third type of room in the new block (I only heard) were fantastic with plenty of space & storage, even walk in showers (might be worth 'speaking' to receptionist to get one of these).
Our maid was fantastic, we always had clean towels and sheets (5 lira (£1.80) every few days goes along way), 3 times our room was decorated with petals & a rose on the bed with a trail to the bathroom where she had done the same-very nice touch.

I'm going on a bit so let me be more brief.

Pools O.K. 2 main ones both 1.6m deep 3rd is just a paddling pool (lined with grit-WHY?. Few kids got ear infections (could be down to the three times, either the pool or it's surround was pooed in and not cleaned properly.

Kids club average, one time I went to collect my 8 year old only to be told he had left of his own accord and they did not know where he was.

The animation team were pretty good if a little repetitive - Paul worked very hard & was very professional-(did you get taught anymore!!!).

Which brings me to the Havanna Bar-Sexy Jack(manager),Ersin and co.-never seen any crowd of guys work so hard for, probably, relatively little (come on take change with you to the bar & tip them, I must of heard five times 'it's great this club card you never have to tip the staff', remember 1 lira is only 35p.

Jack- go round & ask how many people want the music that bloody loud so that you can't hold a conversation with the person next to you, and start with the 18-30 year olds you may be surprised! Oh and we know you're in charge so when you give an 'en-masse' bollocking it should be done a little bit more discreetly, the restaurant area behind the bar was empty, everyone around was embarrassed not impressed.

Havanna staff do speak English but not brilliantly so our sarcasm, or mine, is sometimes misunderstood-sorry Ersin.

Although music does go on till midnight it's not that late even if you've got little ones-let them have a nap in the afternoon.

Prices in the hotel are on the whole dearer than elsewhere, so if you're watching your pennies go down the road lots of places do 2 4 1 (DOMINOS is one).

Night time entertainment is fairly good but I wouldn't stay in for much of it.

If you go to the BBQ night don't like us, wait for the queue to 'die down' the food will be cold.
BELLA BLU restaurant not bad. Volkan (live long and prosper)is good, although the restaurant is pretty much the same as every other in the area - go to the MARINA for anything different, but don't be dragged by one of the first few , they are very 'in your face' -be prepared- if it does bother you remind them of the 'NO HASSLE' policy. Try THE GOLDEN PLATE and MR COOK.

The reps will try to sell you trips that can be got at the travel agent over the road for a fraction of the price. The QUAD SAFARI is great and not dangerous. The WATER PARK provides a free bus to & from your hotel. The BAZAAR is where to go to get your fake Prada, Dior, Lacoste, Dolce & Gabbanna, Rolex, Tag and so on; they will try to 'drag' you into their shop, which annoys some more than others but a firm NO puts paid to them. Beware -there are varying qualities of everything & something that looks the same from one shop to the next may be a far inferior quality. Don't think you've had a deal if you get a couple of quid off, they start their prices at DOUBLE what they expect to get. You can get a deal on every thing; I got a better rate at the change office than that advertised, I even heard that someone got five ice creams cheaper. On exchange, it is NOT better to give them sterling they will take any currency but it is usually slightly cheaper in Lira (change your money in the POST OFFICE in the bazaar for the best rate).

The hotel was fabulous! All the staff were great! A big hello to all the staff - they were the people who made our holiday!!

Already booked up to go back in October, and counting down the days!! Overall I would give Anastsia a 10/10!

The hotel was great, the rooms were clean, the maids came and changed the bins daily and they were lovely, our maid loved my nephew and niece, she would always kiss them and say hello.

The location was great, me and my husband had been last year to Marmaris so we knew where to go, it was central to everything. The staff were nice too, didnt really stay around the pool like most people did, we went to the waterparks and the beach a lot, but the staff that we did talk to were great.

We stayed for the turkish night on the first friday that we got there, we had been to one before but the others in our group hadnt, they seemed to like it, although the food wasnt that good.

We would come back to Turkey and maybe this hotel as long as they get rid of the card system. The card was what you put money on so you could spend it on the complex, we didnt like this as the food and drinks and especially the ice creams for the kids were really expensive, they make you feel like you have to buy everything from them too. We were not allowed to bring in our own food around the pool, we had to buy from the bar, even though we were self catering. You couldnt even bring bottles of water from the supermarket in you could only take it to your room. They would announce it over the tanoy about 5 times a day to remind you of this rule.

This hotel/apartments are amazing. The staff are brilliant always willing to help. The havana boys and staff are 100% and work so hard to ensure your holiday is enjoyable. Ersin is amazing always smiling, hope the shorts are ok ersin!!! There is always something new every day to laugh at or join in with.

The children are entertained all the time by vicky who is absolutely brilliant, mad as a hatter but fantastic with the kids. Paul is also excellent with the adults and there is always good games to be played especially if you like water polo. (be warned though paul does not like to be on the losing team).

The entertainment in the night can be a little holiday ish sometimes but thats what is all about. There were some good shows but maybe could be a little more varied, but no real complaints.

The food in the havana bar in the day is very good, and always quick and efficient please try the kebabs amazing. The turkish night is a must and excellent value for money. The food is plentiful and the entertainment is very good on this night and at £8 each for adults and £4 for kids this was a bargain we did it twice.

The childrens club is very good not travel company run but by english girls who now live in turkey, and they are very good with the children also.

The rooms are spotless cleaned every day and the maids leave little touches in the room like petals on the bed, and swans made from towels, the little touches go along way.

Needless to say from this you can see the holiday was 100% fantastic and we would not hesitate returning or recommending it the only downside to theis holiday was

Coming home and back to reality

My holiday was fantastic, the rooms were very clean and very spacious, we went self catering and only went to the Bella blue restaurant once it was OK.

The location was within walking distance to the beach and markets. The hotel staff were brilliant they went out of there way to help you, the entertainment was very good especially for children during the day.

On a night you could join in with everything that was going on even the Havana boys joined in.. I would definitely going back...

We travelled to Anastasia in June this year, and had a great time, the staff were all amazing, so friendly, the reception staff couldnt have been nicer, the maids were excellent, always smiling, the whole place was spotlessly clean.

The hotel is self catering, but we took the flexidine option with first choice, and booked a weeks food, which was with the Bella Blu restaurant, and everything was sooo goood!!

Ismail, the restaurant manager is great, the food wonderful, with several choices at breakfast (including full English) and evening meal.

The hotel is a bit away from town centre, in armutalan, but I prefer that to being at the front.

The entertainment during the day is great, and at night is good for the younger kids.

The waiters both in the hotel and restaurant were lovely, always ready with a cuddle for you.

We were apprehensive about the card system in operation, but it worked really well, and every time you get something, your balance is there for you to see.

My hubby Stevie, daughter Mhaighan, niece Kirsty and myself can;t wait to see everyone next year when we are there in July

The food in the restaurant and the Havana Bar was lovely. Always well made and served in a friendly efficient manner.

The hotel was in a good location although could have scored higher if closer to the beach front.

The staff were very friendly and polite and good at their job.

I am returning to Club Anastasia in September since the overall holiday was fantastic!!!

We were in Turkey for the first time and stayed at Club Anastasia. We were very happy with everything and have decided to come back next year, and of course we will stay at Club Anastasia.

Everything about the hotel is just great, the cleanliness, food and the entertainment in the evening was so great that we didn´t have to go anywhere else. All the hotel staff was great and so nice.

The staff at Havana Bar are are one of a kind, and we especially want to mention our friend Gürkan who did everything to make us feel good. We hope we will meet them all on our next holiday in Marmaris next year. (Gissur and Sigga/Iceland)

Myself and my two girlfriends,Lucia andd Bernie stayed at Anastasia in June 06 and had the time of our lives!!

Havent stopped talking about it since we've come home,it was everything we were lookin for in our girlie holiday.

First impressions on the hotel were fantastic, staff were very friendly on our arrival which was exactly what we needed after travelling 20 Hrs!!!

Our rooms were absolutely Spotless..well until the three girls were let loose with three buldging suitcases!!!

Our cleaner was so friendly and extremley good at her job...extra thanks and credit to her for the fantasic swan display with rose petals she left on our beds(She actually took the time out to show me how she done it) Gifted!!!

The food was so yummy at the Havana bar we ate there every morning..the frys are magic! Big shout out to all the guys in their tomato outfits in the kitchen!

As for the hotel staff, we as three single women couldnt of asked for much more...we didnt leave the Havana bar for the whole week...Well done to sexy Jack for recruiting the sexiest barmen and waiters in turkey..

Entertainment was fantasic,we were pulled up on the stage and the bar every nite. Be it for belly dancing or breakdancing..we aced it all.

The Michael Jackson show was ace..I was stunned for the whole show..such talent guys!!!

Ersin and Gurkan made obvious effort with all the kiddies around the pool,it was so good to see this, really cant compliment the staff enough,I just wish we had staff so dedicated to their jobs like these guys in Ireland!!

We didnt Get a chance to visit the Orange bar or the Bella Vue restaurant..but Im sure it was all thumbs up!

Also thumbs up to the bodypiercing and tatoo studio...on keeping us so calm before myself and Lucia got our piercings and bernie got her tatoo...very professional!!

Myself and the girls will be returning to Anastasia in September/October for two weeks and cannot wait!!!!

Hotel is highly recommended in our eyes...keep up the good work!!!

Very clean hotel.

First Choice rep didn't push the excursions but gave us a honest opinion of what to do in the resort.

We were self catering but paid the extra to go half board for 1 day, this was worth it as the meal was excellent. The on-site miimarket was expensive and the same items could be bought from other outlets much cheaper.

Entertainment was a joke,it seemed as if the staff took it in turns to use the DJ equipment and the volumes were always excessive for late night. This will be a problem for people with young children with pool facing apartments.

Most staff seems to be motivated by extracting as much money from you as possible, some of them did seem too friendly with the teenage girls, I won't go into details.

Anastasia is a well regarded hotel in Marmaris, ask any Turk and they will know where it is.

The place itself is lovley inside, nice quality, everything works fine and they keep on top of maintenance.

The maids are lovley girls, who left us little love notes and rose petals on a daily basis.

The Entertainment and Reception staff on the other hand are very rude people if you arnt spending your cash with them. We were butchered to come to there events like BBQ night and some others, and when we turned them down they refused to talk to us.

We preferred to spend our time, and money elsewhere in marmaris, and it is a good job we did because we have made some excellent friends and have been back twice since this trip. You also find out that you can goto better nights elsewhere in marmaris and spend alot less money.

The food in the Hotel restraunts wasnt upto much, and overpriced however I can recommend going to the Sidewalk Cafe (English Owned), you get there by walking to the cross roads then turning left and it is situated in the middle of Time Plaza (you cant miss it), there you will find a British Cafe serving proper british food, and very nice turkish food at reasonable prices. The staff there will also give you good advise on whats on and what to do during your stay. I recommend having at least breakfast with them during your holiday.

Anastiasias pool is very nice, but again you are pestered all the time by the staff who are either flirting with the young girls or trying to sell you something, it really spoiled our holiday.

The main thing that put us off the hotel was the distance from the beach it was a good 20 -30 minute walk, despite people saying different maybe we went the long way round.

The hotel itself was clean and well kept and you could always get a sunbed on a morning although it was only the end of may but it was school holidays. The kids club and entertainment was run by an English company called funtasia and to be honest none of them had much go in them, especially the kids reps.

There was various activities throughout the day, but the nightime was pretty dull not starting till 10pm. It was also very quiet around the havana bar and all the staff looked a bit lost on a night I think people were tending to go out. The Bella Bleu restaurant was ok but to be truthful there is that many bars and restaurants around we only went in twice. The card system was ok but it was a bit of a pain as only one person could use the card at a time so if you didnt have it on you then you couldnt use your money. Maybe this hotel livens up a bit in July and August.

I don't mean to sound down on the hotel but it just wasnt to our liking.

The room are clean and tidy.

Did not not eat in the hotel.

Location of hotel is not bad.

Staff I found to be ok, apart from the manager who at the end of our holiday tried to charge me for a chair he said my son had broke.

IF you have booked this hotel beware, you cannot spend cash, you have to put money onto a card at the hotels exchange rates before you can purchase anything. If you want constant loud music go here.

The hotel wasn't far from the beach, market and shopping stores it was around a 10 minute walk down the road.

The hotel staff were really good they always knew how to make everyone have a really good holiday and to let us enjoy it! Especially Ersin, Husein and a few more but I don't know there names, I don't think they know how to stop dancing either (Husein!)

The entertainment were very good every night there would some thing on. The best one was when they did the break dancing show and after the Havana boys would do their own little break dancing show.

however the card system in place is a nightmare. As was getting up at 6am in the morning so you could get a sun bed. If you arrived after 7.15am youd had it!!
I dont know if it was just those 2 weeks in Aug!!!

Some of the entertainment was good, in particulatr our son liked the bingo!!

Beacuse of the card system and the nighmare we had re sunbeds we probley wouldnt go thee again. Althoguh we did have a great holiday and met some really nice people.

My first time in turkey and it was brilliant!!! I would go back tomorrow!!

The hotel is spotless, the food is great, its in a great location and the staff were all so friendly especially the Havana boys.

We ate in the Bella Vue a couple of times and had no complaints wat so ever.

You are in walkin distance of all the shops, the beach, restaurants or whatever your lookin for.

The Havana boys are so friendly and such good crack that we stayed in the hotel practically every night which we never do. They are willing to do anything for you and really made the holiday for us. In particular Samet (sexy!) and Ersin but also Hussein, Sulaman, Ali n 'Mario'(dont no his real name). I had such a laugh teachin Samet irish and by the end of our holiday i had half the bar staf speakin it! Ersin had the be the funniest person iv ever met. You just couldnt keep him off the stage. He was always dancing or making you laugh. They are all such hard workers. Some mornings we might not leave the bar until about 3 but at 7 the next mornin the same staff would be there as cheery as ever.

I dont have a clue wat the Orange Bar was like because we never left the Havana Bar!

The entertainment every nite was excellent-the break dancin, michael jackson, the kiddies night etc. Although it was repeated weekly we didn get bored of it. Watchin the bar staff trying to copy the break dancers was hilarious!! When the entertainment was over each night they played music and you could go up on the stage and dance with the guys. At the end of the night you could get up onto the counter and dance. that was such a laugh!

I would strongly recommend this hotel for everyone:
There is a kiddies club for the younger children during the day. Teenagers definitely wont be bored (especially not girls!) The entertainment at night is suitable for all ages and there is something for everyone to do.

This was our first time at here at this hotel and all we can say is how impressed we was with the set up.

The hotel could not be faulted on it's cleanliness but the entertainment could be improved on - seeing and hearing the same stuff again and again was a bit off putting.

Special mention to all the Havana Bar staff including Aydin and Gurkan who made our stay more special.

Be aware though the card system does make it difficult to keep a track on spending and a word of caution the supermarket is very expensive and shopping around can save you lots.

We are hoping to return next year for another wonderful two weeks.

We have visited the hotel now for 2 years in a row and are currently looking to book again for the October half-term holidays. This surely speaks volumes! Do not listen to the whingers who are not happy unless they have something to complain about!

The hotel is spotless, in a very good location and the staff are ALL very friendly....nothing is ever too much trouble, be it with the reception staff (Nuri) or any of the Havana boys.

Sexy Jack has an excellent team and does an excellent job himself. Everybody works really hard, but they also have fun whilst doing so. Guests quickly build friendships with the staff and certainly for us this year it was like visiting friends.

Special mention needs to go to Mehmet, Aydin and Ersin (does he ever stop dancing?!).

As regard to the food, we had no complaints at all. A good varied menu is offered poolside as well as at the excellent Bella Blu restaurant out front. If visiting the Bella Blu, please say hi to Ross....possibly the coolest restaurant manager in Turkey!

Thanks to everybody again for a great holiday....hopefully we will see you again in October!!!!

The cleaning staff were friendly but not very thorough.

The sinks were not cleaned during our stay although the beds and towels changed regularly.

We had our worst meal in Marmaris in the Bella Blu restaurant. We can only hope it was a bad night but it put us off eating there again.

The hotel was in a good location with an easy walk to the beach and shops, market etc.

Unfortunately we took two sons who were of no interest to the bar staff whatsoever - take daughters if you want to get served easily.

We were warned by other guests that all the children had ear infections from the pool and sure enough our children went down with it although this seemed to be rife in all the hotels in Marmaris.

The bar staff did not like us sitting on our balcony particularly if we were having a drink. I can only assume that this was because we were not spending in the bar.

Booming music from the Havana bar went on until 2am followed by sunbeds being moved at 6.30am. Not exactly what we had in mind for a holiday.

We are not whingers and I have not complained about a holiday before but I would not stay there again.

Apartment was kept very clean and lady cleaning was very pleasant.

Holiday rep was in nearly every day sometimes twice so if you had a problem she was easily contacted. Prices in supermarket were a bit steep but a couple of minutes walk along the road was a cheaper market so just used that one.

We were lucky as we booked a pool view cause some of the verandas faced the road which would have spoilt it a bit. Towels on sunbeds was solved as the bar staff went around and took any without owner off bed and left them in reception, which helped as most people were puting them on at 7am and not using the beds till late afternoon. Didnt realise there was so many selfish people around.

We went to Club Anastasia in July 05. We went self catering as we didn't want to book anything incase we didn't like the food. All in all the hotel food was very nice, especially the pizzas and lunch time burgers.

The hotel location was set back inland about a 15-20 minute walk from the beach, but you always like the walk.

The hotel staff were very helpful.

The entertainment was amazing every night was something different, snake shows, belly dancing you name it they had it.

I would definitely go back to Anastasia, it was one of the best holidays I have ever had.

We stayed in this hotel from 21 July to 4 August. Hotel clean, and staff very attentive. Our apartment overlooked the pool and was in the new block which had only been opened for 4 months. The apartment was very big and plenty big enough for the four of us. My only complaint is the lack of wardrobe space, the apartment would have been big enough to put a wardrobe in for the two people sleeping in the living room space.

Pool area plenty big enough, and restaurant food perfectly acceptable, and so too was their room service which we took advantage of a couple of times. Music variety was OK, if a little loud at times, and occasionally the song lyrics not suitable for young ears. Bar staff very attentive, when not being pursued constantly by 13 - 16 year old British girls!! Reception staff very good, especially the main guy who was on during the day (he may have been the manager or head reception manager).

Certainly, on my look around the resort, this hotel was one of the better ones in Marmaris, and I would classify it as superior 3 Star.

My only 3 minor gripes (and they are very minor and didn't detract from this excellent holiday) were:

1. Towel saving on the beds - it got earlier and earlier while we were there ending up at 6.45am on the last day. There are one or two inconsiderates who save beds early and then go away until mid afternoon, but the worst attitude was some of the other guests who tried to get the towels removed. The rep stupidly listened to them one day, and we had the facical procedure of staff removing towels at about 10.30am in the morning. One poor guy I saw an hour earlier, had gone for 5 minutes and came back to find staff removing his towel and personal belongings from his bed!! On and by the way, some of us like to get up early and sit by the pool. I think the problem is that since the building of the new block, there are now insufficient sunbeds, which is a problem needing to be addressed by the hotel, and this is probably the cause of the early bed saving problem.

2. On the last day I explained to the maid that we were keeping the room until 7pm that evening. When one of us went back to the apartment we found her removing towels and bedding from it. When challenged nicely and asked if we could have the towels back because we had paid for the room until 7pm, she threw a very bad hissy fit. A pity, because all the other staff were very obliging. Needless to say, she got no tip after that!!

3. Not being allowed to bring food to the pool area from the supermarket on the hotel premises, despite being able to use the hotel card in there, and being give the impression that it is part of the hotel.

4. The moany complaining attitude of the other Brits at the hotel. It makes you wonder why they save for 50 weeks a year to book a holiday, and then spend the next two weeks of the holiday moaning about every little problem. No holiday is ever perfect, perhaps they should remember that.

We will certainy come back to this hotel and resort.

First time in Turkey liked it very much.

Rooms very small only one small wardrobe between 3 had to live out of my suitcase most of the time. Not much room in the kitchen part not that I wanted to cook anyway. Air-con only in the kitchen part so we had to hire a fan as well costing us £60 altogether.

Liked the location of the aparthotel as it was close enough to Marmaris centre and far enough away from the hustle bustle.

Liked the entertainment sometimes my son loved all the dancing especially watching the barmen dancing on the bar with sparklers in their mouths.

Turkish people very helpful and friendly.

Aparthotel was spotless especially around the pool. They were always cleaning it and lovely leather covers on the sunbeds if your lucky to get one.

Food ok at the Havanna bar.

Would come back here. Very good aparthotel and the Turkish BBQ was excellent.

Had a lovely maid called Arzu have photos of her. Ayden, Memhet, Husein, Ursan, Suleyman and lots more made our stay brilliant hope to see them next year.x

Liked my stay in this hotel, and only a few complaints.

While we stayed there we had a ground floor pool view which we didn't pay any extra money for which was good side. the down side to the hotel is bar service cane be a bit slow at times when the waiters are chasing after the girls and are up dancing (good to see they are enjoying thereselves though).

The music is very loud from around ten in the morning till about one the following morning and its the same songs every day in just about the same order you could practaclly set your watch by them. Sexy jack not the best dj i ever heard. Be careful of the card system cards get mixed up a lot and sometimes your charged someone elses orders. Food in the Bella Blu not bad.

Rooms and hotel very clean. Trying to get a sunbed is a nightmare I had 2 week holiday and I think we managed to get 2 sunbeds to share between 4 on about 3 different days.

Reps are quite good their show which they do on a Satnight is funny, Turkish night is good wouldn't bother with Michael Jackson show or the break dancers.

All the staff in the hotel are very friendly especially Memhet. All in all good hotel, with good location if you can walk in the heat.

However, watch the hotel supermarket no prices on anything and they will try and rip you off.

We booked in February and paid £1200 + for each family (2 families). Boy did we feel like we got ripped off. I work for Thomas Cook and price the holidays!!!

This is no way a four star, a 3 star just about. It is advertised as a family hotel. In some areas yes, most areas.... no.

We paid a supplement for a pool view, we were given a ground floor room (great) with a pool view (cool) but the bathroom was so mouldy you wouldn't beleive. Don't get me wrong the cleaners are lovely, this room was just dodgy. I went to the reception and asked if they would move us as i couldn't put a 2yr old in a mouldy bath. He did, but he was really put out. (and held it against me for the rest of our stay)

Great we thought, until we realised that the next block didn't have a lift, (there's 4 blocks and only 1 has a lift) so we had to hump the buggy up and down the stairs for 2 weeks. Within 12 hours I was regretting asking to move....Why... because the room we were given was right next to the speakers on the stage and also right by were all the sunbeds were stored. So you can guess it.... no sleep til way past 1am and woken up at 6am by Scottish women or the Havana boys dragging the beds round the pool. So you can imagine how happy we were...14 nights with 5 hours sleep and no chance of a lie in! The pool is not supposed to open til 9 am but you can put money on all the sunbeds having gone by 7.30am. Who the hell is sad enough to get up at that time? Especially when a lot of them didn't get used til midday or later. The reserving sunbed rule was not enforced once.

The brochure pictures are really inaccurate... they show you a brand new apartment (only 1 block of 4) which is twice as big as the old ones and 4 storeys high and no lift... so it rules people with young children out... especailly as they only have showers.... I would have one if we didn't have little one, but completley impratical for the supposed 'market' of families.

For a 5 year old hotel it was really shabby in places... really uncared for.

Kitchen...hardly... a sink and 2 cupboards and a cooking ring... bit like camping really....ate out all the time as it was really poorly equipped.

Location was fine for us, a nice stroll to the beach and the shops and lots of facilities nearby.

Hotel kids club was great as it was run by an English company who did all the hotel entertainment.... but that was all the facilities suitable for the under 5's, hopeless... childrens pool with pebbles in took ages for the kids to get used to and often frequented by the 15 year old out of control kids, it was really small too. There were no grassy areas, no shady areas and too many yobs whose parent let them run riot with no consideration for the younger children.

Havana boys only after the little girls with no parents around....hopeless and the drinks were so expensive. But saying that when they worked... they worked hard and long hours. Food there very limited... evrything served with chips... don't know why they think that is all Brits eat???? Need a much wider choice.

The bar manager was just a poser and did no work. Sexy Jack....he gave himself that name!!!! Every departure day he stood in reception handing his email address out to all the girls!!!!!

Music booming all day long.... I love music but we all had headaches after a day by the pool...they just need to turn it down a wee bit.

The Orange Bar was ok, music tooo loud again, but Happy Hour great and so wer the Pina Coladas.... lots of steps to get up there though, Bella Blu ok, ate in much nicer places.... try Dominos (not the pizza place) just a 5 min walk towards the centre. A lovely new restaurant... they don't bug you to go in and the food is delicous and with a wide range to.

I would recommend Turkey to anyone as the people are friendly and great with the kids but if budget allows go 4 * plus.... you'll notice the difference. Land is so expensive in Marmaris that they shove a huge accommodation block on a tiny piece of land with a tiny pool and nowhere to sunbathe!!!

The First Choice rep was usless....blagged her way through everything... ripped us off on 2 excursions (with the exchange rate) and was very patronising... ' alright love ... was all she could say.... and she was only in her early 20's.

Beware... they use sterling loads out there to sell you things and you only pay what they quote if you pay in pounds.... use anything else and they rip you off big style....why do they quote us in pounds... why not in Lira???????

To sum it up... no such thing as a quiet room ... especially if you want a pool view.

Reception staff hopeless...

First Choice Rep hopeless....

Food ok....

Entertainment... good some nights... well dodgy other nights!!

Day trip to Rhodes Town.... well worth it.... great place.

Value for money... everyone says the place is cheap....the only place its cheap is in the markets where they try and rip you off!!!!

Don't expect it to be comparable with European 3 star
