This was a very good hotel worthy of its star rating. All areas very clean and well maintained. We traveled with our son (23), all we were looking for was sun and a chilled holiday to escape the stress of our jobs and this hotel delivered. Choice of two pools, lively and chilled, we started at the lively pool then opted for the quiet one, for no other reason than the chance to relax. I must say that the lively pool was fun with plenty going on if you wanted to join in, animation team staff were very friendly but not pushy. Hotel was multi national so did not cater for the English, which we like, foof a good standard, hot and tasty, plenty of variety but don't expect full english breakfast. If your palet likes spicy food try the read stuff on the salad buffet V tasty! Pitta bread, delicious. Donna kebab you can eat sober!!! and deserts sweet and tasty with an unlimited supply of fresh strawberries, I put on half a stone oops!! Guests can also have one visit to the alacart restaurant food there is the same as the buffet except the main which was sea bream when we went.
Location was quite remote, Kasudasie town about 20 mins drive away, but the local bus goes from outside the hotel every 10 mins and costs 3 TL. Taxi 15 tl, but be careful because they use Euros nearly as much as Turkish lira, so agree and pay your taxi before you set off or you could end up paying double for your journey. On several occasions we thought the price was Turkish when it turned out to be Euro so beware! All the shops in the hotel use Euros so the same goods can be found a lot cheaper in the town.
We did a trip to Ephasus also by local bus, again from outside the hotel and running every 10 mins cost 3.5 tl each way, entrance to site was 20 tl each, 27 tl compared to the £25 quoted by the rep for a half day trip and avoided the inevitable rush around the site so that there was time to visit somewhere or other on the way so the rep got their commission.
Staff were all friendly and very helpful,Tammier deserves a mention for making sure we had a good table in the restaurant and keeping the wine and beer flowing throughout, and for taking the time to teach us a few niceties in Turkish. entertainment staff work very hard, but still find time to chat with everyone. The shows are for the most part well presented and and fun, as good as we have had anywhere we have stayed.
Although we really enjoyed our holiday, we would probably not go back unless we were looking for another chill week and the price was right, we prefer to always go somewhere different, there are so many places to visit it seems a waste to go to the same place. That said this was one of our better holidays.

Time to write another report on the Tusan. This is our fifth visit in four years so you could say we like it here.

As usual from the time we stepped through the front door until the time we drove off in the coach the staff were fantastic, always helpful, always greeting you with a smile and always willing to help (despite some very rude guests in the hotel)

This year for the first time our room wasn't in the front part of the hotel but over the retaurant. THe room was slightly smaller but the view was as good and with its own A/C unit a real bonus. This part of the hotel for some reason appears to be quieter as well. Yes the rooms may need some updating but they are always clean and after all you only use the room for changing and sleeping.

There has always been comments about the food at thehotel not being that good well this year it seemed even better. How anybody couldn't find something to eat is beyond me. Thanks to Hassan in the main restaurant who looked after us fantastically again. Thanks must also go to the two Mehemets in the Cafe Perge as well as Mehmet in Teos Cafe. This is still my favourite place to eat lunch.

Umut, Kamil and Siet behing the bar were fantastic and kept the drinks coming all the time with a smile. Thanks guys may take the liver some time to recover.

The pool is looked after this year by Sam who was always there with a sunbed, brolley or ashtray if you needed one. Sam and his assistant were always clearing up keeping the pool area clean.

The hotel has also employed a customer relations person this year to look after the guests and make cetain their holiday is great. Sonoy (I hope I have spelt her name correctly) was very helpful and genuinely concerned that we were enjoying ourselves. The minor problems we had were quickly and easily delt with. Its great having one point of contact she does a great job.

Now for biggest part of the hotel. The animation team!!!!!!!!!!!!. These guys are absolutely superb, they work extremely hard with a limited budget and the shows they put on are fantastic. Korai you and your team made our holiday once again. Diesel, Metin, Joshua, Serkan,Suzy, Ginger, Cicilio, and Max (and the rest of the team who I didnt get to know) thank you for looking after us again I can't praise you guys high enough and yes we will be back later in the year

We had booked this hotel 18 months in advance as it was imperative that we had a good gym. After extensive research on all websites this hotel showed to have a great gym. When we got there it wasn't there anymore.
The rooms were in desperate need of updating. The maids did the best they could and they cleaned everyday. The public toilets were always smelly, even after cleaning.
The food would have been ok for one week but not for 2 as it went downhill after the first 5 days. It's amazing how many versions there are of chicken and chips. We saw the Ice cream cart on the first day and then it disappeared until our last day.
The hotel was approx 15 min bus ride from the centre of Kusadasi. There is nothing close by the hotel. The beach was the best thing there and there was always enough sunbeds. The staff were fantastic and without the animation team and bar staff this hotel would be the absolute pits.
Would definately not go back there until some major work has been done to this place. It's such a shame as it could be fantastic.

I adore this hotel with a passion, in main due to the fantastic animation team and the fun packed atmosphere. I love it so much I am now returning there. In fact I have become so addicted to the place that I have set up a blog on
http://tusanheaven.blogspot.com/
This is purely to locate other Tusan fans out there.
The food is improving year on year so I will probably need two seats on the aircraft home!
My love and thanks to all the entertainment staff who make this a holiday to remember - you are my new best friends!

We have just came home from 1 weeks stay at Tusan. This is our second time here, we visited in 2005.

It was worth being all inclusive as we had 6 children 4 of them being teenagers so food and drink all day suited them all.

The hotel was very tidy and cleaned all the time. Reception staff were always on hand if you need them and maids came into your room and changed towels daily.

Rooms were large considering we had four beds in it there was still plenty of room to move. plenty of wardrobe and draws but as always never enough coat hangers so take some with you. only down side about the rooms is they could do with being updated but hey its just a place to lay your head and beds were comfy enough for that.

The evening meals were a bit of a let down. My children struggled to eat and lived mainly on pasta, but for 1 week it was fine if staying for 2 then it could get very boring. Lunch started at 10.30 with burgers, chips and sandwiches, try the chicken one its to die for, then at 12 till 2.30 it was pizza or spagetti then back to the burger menu till 5.30.

The spirts were quite tasteless but I stuck to Efes which is lovely lager. Very strict on serving underage children which was very good. Minibar was very expensive so when you have children in different rooms and you don't want a huge bill at checkout time beware.

Location was quite far away from main town but there is a taxi service at hotel or a dolmus goes by main gate every few minutes. It cost us about 15 lira to get to town in taxi. Views from hotel are lovely with a nice sized beach.

Staff were helpful and polite at all times. Waiters always there cleaning away dirty plates and also some half finshed ones so always finish your plate before getting up or get a family member to watch it for you haha.

Entertainment well what can I say brilliant. Wouldnt even come close they are the heart of the hotel. From 10 in the morning till the early hours they are on the go. Even though it had been two years since our last visit they remembered us all, so a big thank you to Gizmo, Muzzy, Koko, Leo, Joshua, Little Suzi, Rita, Lana, to name just a few you made the hoilday great by keeping the kids and adults entertained.

Yes I would visit this hotel again. I dont think the kids would let us choose anywhere else because of the entertainment team.

On the beach were pedaloes, canoes which were free to all inc. Ringos were 10 pound per person, jet bikes were 20 pounds for 15 mins, there was also parasailing, waterskiing, scuba diving and boat trip.

Its now a week since we returned from two weeks holiday at the Tusan.

This was our third holiday at this hotel having previously stayed in 2005 and 2006, you could say we must like it as we keep coming back.

Right where to start, the hotel was as clean as ever and our cases were taken to our room for us. Yes the rooms could do with updating but the maids kept them very clean with fresh linen daily and after all the room is only somewhere where you go to shower, change and sleep.
It was great to see so many familiar faces amongst the staff and even better that they actually remembered us.

The bar staff this year where even better than last year, special thanks must go to Kamil (great to see you again), Umut (thanks for great service) and Serkan (take care in the army next year) I think my liver is just recovering guys.

The food again this year was no different than any other year but we always found more than enough to eat. The addition of the bar-b-que and the pasta gave even more choice. We even had the Turkish a-la-carte meal which was absolutely fantastic. The choice for lunch is great not only with the restaurant but burgers, chips, sandwiches and pizzas from the Cafe Perge at different times of the day. My personal favourite as always is Teos Cafe with its Turkish dishes.

As for the waiting staff very effiecient as ever and very helpful, many thanks to Refik (enjoy your meal!!!) and to our great friend Hassan (thank you for looking after us and it was fantastic to see you again)

The pool area and beach for that fact are looked after by a fantastic guy, Metin. Everywhere is always clean, if you need a parasol or ashtray he is always willing to sort these for you. Thank-you once again Metin
Now for best part of the hotel and the holiday THE ANIMATION TEAM!!!!!!! Korai,Muzzy,Diesel,Metin,Serkan,Gizmo,Cisilio,Dennis(Ginger),Joshua,Suzy,Lana,Rita,Kirsty,DJ Murat if I have forgotten anybody I am sorry.

You guys are the best how you keep going working such long hours and doing so much I will never know. You had us laughing all the time. The shows were fantastic especially Grease. Well done guys you deserve it and being able to spend time at the end of the night unwinding with you guys in the disco was great. Pity the management stopped this just before we left!!!! We cant thank you guys enough for how you looked after us and especially Mel who cried nearly all the way to the airport. Take care all of you we will definitely see you next year if not later this year. Diesel you are a legend.

To sum up fantastic holiday with fantastic friends at a great hotel we will return!!!!!!!!!

This is quite simply the best hoiday we have ever had.

In main this was down to the superb animation team. On leaving the hotel to return home I felt I was leaving my best friends behind. Not one of us left with dry eyes.

The food is okay, not brilliant but we have all put on weight so it can't be that bad.

The service was fabulous and so were the hotel staff who, although a little reserved at first, were opening up by the beginning of our second week.

We are now booking for next year.

Right were do I start with the food.

Well it was bad the evening meals were awful apart from the grilled mushrooms. The daytime snacks ok but the same day in day out,but you wouldn't starve. A few times we went to town for some decent food.

Hotel cleanliness was good if you stayed in the reception area they were always hoovering till the early hours of the morning. The rooms were dirty the tiles in the bathroom had not been cleaned from the people before us it is need of update.

Hotel location was lovely sea views all round.

Hotel staff were great specially osman an sircan and the girls who did the coffee area they work long hours for little money. Sometimes they could not speak to you because of the bosses watching them. The bosses need to lighten up.

The animation team were fantastic always made time for you they also work long hours for little money.Leo, muzzy, diesel, cocoa, suzie, metty you could not fault any of them they are the people that make that hotel if it was not for them the hotel would be worse than what it is.

I would go back to see the animation team and some of the staff but for the food and cleanliness then no I wouldn't.

The food in the hotel was very disappointing as there was not much on offer in the restaurant.

There was too many queues at the bars as there was only one bar open after 5 o clock which then shut at 11 o clock.

The animation team in the hotel were brilliant and very helpful especially Daniel and muzzy who always got everyone joining in all the activities and were always joking around with the children.

Overall I think that the hotel itself was brilliant the only downside was the food in the restaurant.

We arrived to find ourselves on the 1st floor with a sea view. All we could see was a brick wall ! After speaking to the rudest receptionist we moved to the 4th floor.

Rooms were clean but very old & tired. Hotel in need of modernisation

Food was very much the same, we struggled to find anything looking appealing.

Reception staff were rude and unhelpful.

It was a nightmare getting a drink, with often 1 or 2 staff, trying to serve 50 guests.

Entertainment was quite good but nothing much happening.

You could not get a sunbed near the pool unless you got up before 7 o'clock

We left this hotel after 3 days, we found far too many guests for the size of the hotel. We changed to the Aqua Fantasy Hotel, best decision we could have made.

The hotel is situated right on the beach, excellant views, first impressions were very good, but as soon as we checked in we found that our party had been split up (which was rectified after a bit of a moan).

The rooms were quite big but need modernising, furniture desperatley needs replacing throughout the hotel. The main restaurant could get very busy, with people wandering about looking for tables, cutlery, plates or glasses, the food (which was a bit repetative)ran out very quickly and wasnt replaced very efficiently, you had to queue for fried eggs, pancakes & omelettes, (watch out for the queue jumpers).

We were there in August, the hotel was heaving with guests which the hotel just wasnt catering for them. You have to set the alarm for 5.30am to get a sunbed, there are not enough lumpy cushioned chairs to sit on around the main evening bar area, we had to sit in our best clothes on the sunbeds in the evenings(the only time you could guarantee getting a bed).

The main bar shut at 11pm prompt every night, even if you had been queuing for 10mins or more to get a drink! There arent enough water butts around the hotel.

The animation team work very, very hard entertaining everyone all day & night. Too many chiefs, not enough Indians! that was our impression of this hotel.

The manegement did admit to our rep that they couldnt cope with the amount of guests! The staff were too frightened to get too close to guests in case the bosses caught them!

Definitley would not return to this hotel!!!

I will start with the positive aspects of the holiday. When we arrived at the hotel check in was quick and cases were taken to our room, we arrived about 22.45.

We went to room which was not too bad but dimly lit, we freshened up and went downstairs for drink, eventually we worked our way to main outside bar but by this time it was closed.

The teenagers went to disco and we went in search of food, but none to be had. The good aspects of the hotel and Turkey were, excellent weather, hotel in good position on beach with beautiful views.

Now the bad news, the food in my opinion was SLOP, there was liver, chicken, goulash ( stew without veggies) turkey, various salads, potatoes, some fried fish, some boiled fish. I was disgusted at the food and paid £1,700 for 2 adults to eat this food, there were pastas, CHIP CHIP CHIP and various other things but overall the food was very poor, although my friend and husband didn't seem to mind the food as I was constantly reminded when I moaned, which so did every one else I spoke to. I had an upset tummy the whole time I was there along with a lot of other people today have been to doctors and diagnosed with food poisoning.

Entertainment- animation team work long hours and very hard - but entertainment was not entertaining in evening for adults, the bar near to evening entertainment was closed, main bar open till 23.00 but dont expect to much in the way of drinks, lager, gin, vodka, brandy, wine no international drinks to be seen.

I gave up in end, along with I would say the majority of English people and went to town for a proper piece of meat and Baily's. My son called it a hell hole. I could not wait to go home.

People moaned about the staff but they work such long hours in hot temps no wonder they don't smile all the time. The only person I found was rude was the woman who checked mini bar, had a problem with air con and she rolled her eyes and muttered about me, also check your lock works correctly, we thought ours did, then my son lent against door and it opened, I rang reception, sent man within 1 hour to fix.

Al a carte meal was good, but could only get in once as they use same restaurant for both meals.

To be honest I could write loads about hotel but as still ill have no energy, but if you are looking at this before you book holiday DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL, oh yes sheet was changed only when I took it of bed, balcony not swept whole time there and Rat droppings on balcony, even though 5 floors up. Pedlos free and Ciac. Dolmus at end of drive every 5 min into town 1.50 lira.

Take Turkish money as they will try and con you all time.

GO TO adaland for aqua park 5 Min's up road and nice an quiet, brilliant rides and clean. Rep says about Health and Safety but absolutely fine, they get no commission there.

Turkish night in town, mezze, rice, chips and chicken and dancing on stage not round tables, another not good night.

Just the most awful place I have been to and do not intend to go back again!

Arrived home from 2weeks at the Tusan on the 24th. The hotel is set in a lovely location with beautiful views. On arrival our check in was quick and efficient, we had requested rooms with a sea view which we didn't get but were moved with no problems the following morning. Rooms were very clean as was the whole hotel. Pool was great and well looked after by the pool-man. Meals during the day were good however the evening meal seemed more geared up to non British guests but we always found something to eat! Hi to Coco, Muzzy, Serkan, Emmy, Suzie, Metin and all the others in the animation team who made our holiday great fun - you are a great bunch, hardworking and always smiling. Our only complaint with the hotel is the Tom system used for the all inclusive, these are Velcro bands which must be handed over when you eat or drink anything. You are only given 2 per family which was hopeless for 4 people in such a large resort.

We stayed here from the 8th July for two weeks. The hotel was clean and staff friendly. Must mention Camil at the bar as he was great.

The food at the snack bar was great but night time was a bit hit and miss (went in a bit later than usual to be told they had run out) thank goodness for the pasta man as this is what the kids ate every night.

The location is stunning but not much of a beach. The animation team at this hotel is what makes your holiday they become friends very quickly and you feel as though you've known them ages.

A great big thank you to coco, muzzy, diesel, Daniel, shakran and Suzy. They work long hours and work very hard on the shows at night. We had two teenagers with us and they had the best holiday as they met loads of people the same age so this place is great for older kids.

I have just got back from Tuscan resort, I didn't think much of the hotel at all.

All of the staff seem more interested in how the hotel looks rather than how guests feel.

The food was the same everyday, it ok if you love pasta, rice chicken or turkey.

As for the entertainment, there is nothing to do apart from watch the animation team, don't get me wrong they were brilliant but if you want to have a good drink and listen to music you are best off going into town and one of the best bars that we found was "GOLDEN OLDIES" the staff were so friendly and made everyone feel welcome.

So as for my opinion of this hotel, I think it was an ok holiday, would go back to Kusadasi but not that hotel.

This was our second holiday at the Tusan and were greeted in the same friendly manner as last year.
It was very surprising to see how many of the staff remembered us considering how many people they see in a season.

The hotel and staff were up to the same high standard as last year in fact the service from some of the waiters Ahmet and Hassan especially was exceptional.

There were as usual alot of people complaining about the food but we always found something to eat and what was there was always well prepared and to a very good standard.
Remember in you want a good old english breakfast you wont get one it is a muslin country so no pork!!! Not that this bothered us as the omlettes were fantastic.

The cleanliness of the hotel was up to its usual high standard with clean towels as often as you need them. The rooms do begin to look dated but this does not stop the maids from keeping them spotless.

The bar staff looked after us very well especially Kamil and Ahmet thank-you guys i dread to think how much vodka we drank.

Finally I cannot give enough praise to the animation team, Korai your team are fantastic Diesel, Daniel, Mettin, Muzzy, Sercan, Josh, Suzie, Sophie, Lana and DJ Mutti, if I have missed anyone I am sorry. You all did a fantastic job keeping us entertained and our holiday wouldn't have been the same without you all.

We will be coming back hopefully in October if not we are already looking to book for June next year.

I arrived at the hotel on 12th June and as soon as I walked into the hotel I was amazed the place was so clean and the food was nice and the pool was great!!

The entertainment was so amazing as the animation team worked so hard to put on all the shows, the holiday wouldn’t have been the same without them, I miss them so much.

I loved it so much my mum has booked to go again next June and I cant wait to go back there!!!

I travelled to the Tusan in June last year for the second year running. Once again I can say I didn't want to come home. I didn't stop crying for hours after leaving everyone.

Both the holidays I have had at ths hotel have been the best I have ever had. The staff make you feel so welcome and are very kind. Ok they may not look the happiest all the time but would you working the long hours they do? Have to say Hello to Camil who worked on the Assos bar...thanks for pouring great drinks!!

Im 14 and I couldn't complain once about the food. I never went hungry and could always get something that I wanted when I wanted it.

I loved the location of the hotel as I would get up in the morning and see a wonderful blue sea and beautiful landscape.

The hotel was always clean can't complain about that. However the bathrooms within the rooms could do with a bit of updating. Very 80's.

The Animation team were absolutely amazing. They made my holiday so much better. They are so friendly, easy to talk to and you can have a great conversation with them even if you can't always understand what they say. The shows they put on at night always had me in stitches. Especially the playback shows which always stick in my mind. Daniel being Whitney Houston wearing yet another dress and Diesel being his Kevin Costner. You just can't help but laugh. I miss all of them so much and I am so glad I have kept in contact with most of you. Koray, Muzzy, Daniel, Diesel, Metin, Josh, Serkan, Lana, Tanya, Dj, Suzzy and Sophie you are all ledgends and thank you for making this holiday the best one I have ever had.

I can't wait to get back to Tusan again this year to see all the animation team and friends I have made there the two years I have been. Only 36 days left. Bring on Tusan 2007!!!

We stayed in Tusan Beach Resort from 1st to 15th May 2006.

The hotel was lovely and clean, food excellent with a great choice (although not as good as the Caribbean islands all inclusive but thats only to be expected). Waiters very friendly, bar staff could try and smile a bit more.

The best bit about the holiday which really made our time there brilliant was the entertainment staff in particular Coco and Muzzy! My daughter was poorly the first few days we were there and Coco went to the local Pharmacy got her medicine and wouldn't even take any money for it those boys have hearts of gold and work exceptionally hard for the little pay they receive, so if the hotel management are reading this then Coco, Muzzy, Diesel and all the others deserve a massive pay rise!

The Hotel was absolutely lovely , fantastic views from most rooms and kept really clean . The beach was ok plenty of watersports available , pedaloes and non motorised stuff were free on all inclusive but you had to pay for the other stuff although quite reasonable priced. Watch out for the jellyfish !!!

We had read lots of reviews before we travelled that slated the food but we thought it was good (and we are well travelled!) Lovely pizzas and chicken sandwiches and i thoroughly recommend the cheese & tomato panini's (to die for). Make sure you diet before you go - you will need to after for sure !

Word of warning , we got there at about 11.30pm and there was absolutely no food available so pack a snack or you will be hungry.... The animation team were great , Tyla says Daniel is gorgeousssss and she cannot wait to return , Sonny loved the pool and the club dances. Rooms were really nice , we had a great panoramic view, the air conditioning could have been improved ,we were sweating in May so good luck if you are going in the hotter Months.

All in all it was a really good holiday and would go back without hesitation.

Hi,We returned from the Tusan Beach Resort Kusadasi on the 22 may after a two week holiday. This was the first holiday on our own without any of the kids.

We had a great holiday .The food was very good my husband is quite a fussy eater and he loved their pizza's.Their puddngs are gorgeous too.

Hotel was spotless, always cleaning.Rooms cleaned daily and towels changed daily. Our room was a good size, with fantastic view of the main pool, beach and Kusadasi bay.

I am going to try to put some pic's on the site take a look for yourself. We had our own private beach with water sports, none motorised free on a/i.Location of the hotel was good away from the centre but only a short ride into town on the dolmus.

Some of the hotel staff were ok especially ahmed but not that sociable.

For us the entertainment staff made our holiday. These guys work so hard, nothing is too much trouble they just want you to have a fab time.HELLO muzzy, coco, daniel, diesel, suzie, gala. They worked about thirteen hours a day, and still had a smile on their faces. So if the management read this they make the hotel a fab place to be. Give them all a pay rise they deserve it.

I will be gong back to the hotel again as all in all we had a very enjoyable holiday in a great location.

The hotel was very spotless.

The maid we had was great.

The food was not all that I think you need a very strong stomach, don't expect bacon because they don't have pork it's their religion, just eggs and scrabbled and toast. The butter is not like ours to so be careful in what butter you choose. I think the waiters could smile a bit more, but in all they were nice.

The hotel is about 2hr drive and the coach drivers are mad drivers, infact they are all mad at driving.

I would recommend you going to Tusan very nice.

I went to Tusan with my friend and her two children (aged 13 and 15), We all had a wonderful time, in the 1 week that we stayed.

Most of the staff were very friendly, especially the bar staff, the snackbar chef and not forgetting the animation team (Coco, Muzzy, Gizzmo, Diesel, Daniel, Joshua and the two girls) They were absolutely brilliant, the shows in the evening were so funny I have not laughed so much in my life.

The beach, and main pool were very clean and relaxing.

Food was Quite good, especially the snacks during the day, including Pizza and sandwiches, friendly services here.

The hotel itself was spectacular, amazing veiws, and very nice inside. There were some nice shops inside, including jewellery, newsagent type shop and photo shop, where yopu could get professional photo's done, which we did, and they were very good quality.

Thank you to everyone at the hotel who made our stay really brilliant. Hope to see you when we come back.

P.S I hope Muzzy's eye is Okay now.

We arrived at the hotel at 2.30 am were there were staff waiting to take us to our room, even though it was early in the morning staff were still friendly and chatty.

The hotel is spotlessly clean with new sheets and towels supplied everyday.

The food was nice throughout the day and evening meal but breakfast was not such a wide variaty, the staff were all lovely and chatty really nice people.

The entertainment was great you could never complain of having nothing to do,Diesel, Gizzmo, Coco, Daniel, Joshua were all mad! but really lovely expecially Diesel !

There were lots of activities such as water polo basket ball shooting aqua gym sea arobics and lots more.....

I would strongly recomend this hotel and personally will be definitely be going back again as soon as possable !

Being all inclusive made this holiday all the better I don't think I could have stayed by any other basis.

The cleanliness of the hotel was imaculate food was basically the same every day but edible the best meal came from the resteraunt we could not have found if we weren't there with people who have been to the hotel before down by the disco they serve traditional Turkish food the sizzling meatballs were delicious.

Location was beautiful the views from the resteraunt and our hotel room were gorgeous.

The staff really kept us entertained from the moment we stepped into the door to the moment we left at 4:00 in the morning when Joshua walked into reception ready to start work with hardly any sleep!

I really don't know where they get their energy from they are all crazy! During the day it was non stop sport activities and games.

The shows on an evening might not have been extreamly professional but i hadn't laughed as much for ages so a big thanks goes to Daniel, Gizzmo, Diesel, Coco, Muzzy (cheeky Monkey), Joshua, Lana, Kim and Juliet for keeping us going from mornig till night!!

The disco would have been alot better if more people came but the best evening was deffinatley the litino nigh with a great show limbo and latin music!

I would definatley reccomend a Turkish bath body peel and foam massage at the beggining of your holiday because it takes your tan away and is very relaxing and envigourating at the same time but gives you a better tan in the long run.

One or two of the hotel waiters were very friendly clearing your plate as soon as you placed your fork down! Bar staff in general were lovely and Emray made the best cocktails ever!!

I would definatly visit again i know that the people we were with have already booked for next July!

We visited in August last year and once again have had a fantastic holiday. The amount of people that we recognised from last year was unreal.

This is a big hotel but the cleanliness of the whole place is very good.

We asked for the newer part of the hotel this time which has the advantage of an individual air con hand set, however the rooms on this side were smaller. We did however still have the fantastic sea view.

The pool is always busy and sunbeds gone early however there are plenty of beds available on the beach.

The choice and standard of food is also very good, the only downside is breakfast which is a bit bland. The evening meals and desserts have improved on last year.

The hotel is set in a pretty location which has fantastic sunsets about 7.45 along the coastal road outside the hotel, do not miss.

The staff are excellent and work very hard, all of them and a big thank you to Mehmet the barman who was great.

The entertainment was good with plenty going on throughout the day and evening and then there's the disco which stays open until 2.30!!

First time in Turkey and we couldn't have chosen a nicer place.

Hotel really clean, much bigger than we thought. A wide range of food, bar (disco) open until 2a.m. This is our 6th all inclusive and the only one which had free drinks on so late.

Special mention to the animation team Muzzy, Gizzmo, Daniel, Deisel, Joshua who were Turkish not forgetting the Russians Gala, Igor, Alex (Sasha), Lena, Paulie and their no 1 Coco. Their children's entertainers also worked very hard. The animation team were absolutely brilliant, full of fun providing plenty to do during the day and nights.

Location right on beach with beautiful surroundings. For those who have teenagers, don't worry. Our daughter and niece ,both 15, met loads of lovely friends. We hardly saw them throughout the holiday.

All in all Tusan Beach has been the best holiday for us. We would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel and have got some lovely memories.

Two Families eleven people in total travelled to the Tusan on the 18th August. The reception area is very impressive, we had asked to all be together on the same floor and the staff were very helpfull and we were allocated the first floor overlooking the small pool with wonderfull views off the sea, with the gardens below us.

The rooms were very clean, and every day we had clean towels and sheets provided. We had 4 teenage boys sharing a room, which always looked like the abyss, but the cleaner every day tidied up above and beyond what she should have done.

The Air-conditioning unit in the rooms kept them nice and cool, we had two single beds in our room, with enough clothes space for two people, our friends were in the same size room, but they had three people with the same size clothes space.

The food in the restaurant was well cooked and very well presented, only one criticism it always felt that you were eating the same every night, but you would not go hungry, and the snack bar provided a good alternative for the teenagers with pizza's, burgers, chips, toasted sandwiches, their chicken salad sandwiches were to die for.

There is nothing quite like eating out with the sea lapping onto the shore.

The Tusan was very clean and could not fault the staff, they were polite and very helpful.

The main bar shut too early in our opinion, the entertainment did not finish until 11-11:15pm and the bar shut promptly at 11pm so there was a mad rush to the next bar on the other side of the hotel, which was past the shops, this bar shut at Midnight, the Disco Bar opened at 11:45pm and stayed opened until 2am. The entertainment team worked extremely hard, and a special hello goes to Muzzy, Gizmo, Diesel and Coco.

After a couple of nights we joined the early morning brigade of putting towels out before the sun rises, I have never been to a hotel that does not seem to have sunbeds after 6:30am, people seem to save them and then go out for the day leaving the sun beds with towels on so no-one else can use them, but after a week we found out that if you speak to the Pool Man he will remove towels and give you sunbeds.

Although the Tusan is out of walking distance from Kusadasi Town, the Dolmus's pass by every couple of minutes, Kustur is only a 15 minutes walk and has a few shops and bars. In the opposite direction is the water parks, with Adaland being in walking distance from the hotel, the reps seem to push Aqua Fantasy with not a mention of Adaland, so we went to Aqua Fantasy, as we had visited Adaland before, we had a nice day out but there is not as many slides as Adaland this is more suitable if you have children that are Pre-teen.

Would we go back to this hotel, YES we would.

There wasnt much choice with the food and to be honest you needed a strong stomach for most of it.

The hotel and rooms were very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly even though most of them were working 20 hour days 7 days a week.

There wasnt much around the hotel to have a walk or anything but kusta was only 5 mins walk away and there are buses into kusadasi every 5-10 mins.

The entertainment is absolutely fantastic. Never seen anything that would compare. There is something to entertain everyone from the little one to the adults. The shows in the ampitheatre are exellent and the disco at night is fantastic also.

We had one week in the Tusan Beach Hotel and we thought that it was one of the best hotels that we have stayed in.

The welcome staff were very pleasant and helpful, our cases were taken to our rooms on arival, it was nice to have a free safety deposit box in our room.

The rooms were very clean.

There was a good variety of food at meal times also in the snack bars.

The entertainment around the pool and in the evening was very good and enjoyable. The bar staff was very efficient didn't have to wait long for a nice drink.

It would be a hotel that we would return to!

On arrival the hotel staff where fantastic in taking our luggage to our rooms, in fact the luggage beat us and having a free safety box was brilliant.

There was four of us in the room (two adults, two boys age 10 and 12) and our room had a sea view. The room consisted of two single beds situated either side of the double bed. To our disappointment the room only had one wardrobe with 6 coat hangers inside, two small bedside cabinets with draws, a coffee table, and vanity table and another side unit with one draw so hardly enough room for all our clothes especially for four people for two weeks.

The room itself wasn’t practically large so inadequate when there is no room to store suit cases and lilos. However the room was kept clean although the smell of the water in the bathroom sometimes let it down. The mini bar wasn’t part of the all inclusive deal, and be careful not to store your own bottles of water in the fridge as it confuses the maid and you end up paying twice for drinks. Air conditioning was a blessing at night in the Turkish heat.

Food was fantastic for the most part. Dinner being our favourite meal. Too much to choose from, especially the deserts. Scrambled eggs at breakfast weren’t good so recommend going to carvery where chefs cooks up fresh pancakes, fried eggs or omlettes to order.

Bar staff were fast, so no waiting for drinks, unless of course your a child. I think that at most the bars the staff where sometimes rude or miserable around the children. Children over the age of 10 that is.

Entertainment was fantastic in the evenings, the animation team are nuts. Sketch shows are sometimes a little controversal, but we found them extremely funny. Main entertainment was around the main pool, which we found rather annoying because unless your prepared to get up around 5am -7.30am every morning to reserve your sunbed by the pool(rules state not to reserve sun loungers but people did anyway) you missed out which in our case happened 99% of our holiday. Annoying also because the beach was right next to the pool so wouldn’t have hurt the Animation team to wander down to the beach and let the rest of us what was going on.

The beach was clean, and had no problem finding a sun lounger. Pedloes and canoes where free. Locals also used the beach and are really friendly with the children. Watch out for sea urchins though near rocks.

Hotel reception only provides one magnetic tag to get drinks and food from restaurant and bars but will provide a second if asked. The tags can be easily lost or get broken and there is a charge of £8 if you do. I feel this is wrong because we paid all inclusive yet hotel still find a way to charge extra to get your free food. Two tags between 4 people especial grown up children not sufficient.

There is a younger children club run during the day which was supposed to be great but not really enough for older children. There is a children’s play area which had a table tennis, pool table and its own children’s bar, and also a basket ball court area. They did do mini football matches and basketball matches but again unless you’re near main pool you don’t know when they are going on. If all else fells there is an internet cafe where older children can go but at an extra charge.

Disco was good but same music played every night. They had an eighties night but only played for one hour then back to same music as before, same with golden oldies night.
Animation team did have their favourite holiday makers (normally holiday makers with young daughters) so sometimes felt left out. Spoke to other holiday makers at hotel and they felt the same.

Overall we really enjoyed our holiday but our highlights were not in the hotel resort itself but on day excursions.

A great hotel, wonderful staff for the most part but don’t think we will return.

Hotel itself is clean and large with shops and hairdressers located within, I recommend the silver jewlery shop and the Turkish Barbers shave at the hairdressers.

Food was okay but breakfast not worth getting up for, unless your one of those annoying folk who get up at 6am to reserve a sun lounger by the main pool then disappear all day and actually not use it. A lot of security around hotel but didn’t actually seem to be doing their job, like stopping these people reserving pool loungers. Sorry but we did find this annoying as most activities happened around the pool which would of been perfect for our older children.

Pizza was great during the day from the restaurant located under the pool but elder staff who worked the till was rude and ignornant, as were some bar staff who did`t like to serve children.

Animation team where friendly but often swore or used rude terms in front of young children.

Recommend that you don’t book excursions through hotel reps. Aqua Fantasy Park isn’t the best water park, so go to the one just up the road from hotel, and the best boat trip is on the L`amores which is also not booked by your rep. However we did book Ephesus through our rep and had a great day. Definitely worth the visit if you can stand the heat, so recommend taking plenty of water.

Entertainment was interesting, sometimes funny.

Definitely not enough storage space in hotel rooms and the beds were very hard.

Kusadasi Wednesday market definitely worth a visit but best to go back twice as first time can be quite daunting with market holder harassing you all the time. Watch out for market holders who put goods in carrier bags then ties the top because six t-shirts for £12 can sometimes turn out to be only four t-shirts, so untie bag and check.

Old town is beautiful, and plenty of shops and restaurants. Some even do full English breakfast if like us you find yourself craving for it by end of second week.

Dolmish are good way to get around but taxi not much more expensive if feeling a little nervous after recent bombing. Not always worth taking lira to town as euro and pounds preferred and better rates. Avoid leather shops and jewelery shops as staff have hard time taking no as an answer.

Definitely wouldn’t go back to the hotel but would consider going back to Kusadasi. I only recommend this hotel for couples and families with younger children.

Food great, plenty to choose from, fresh pancakes, omelettes and fried eggs made to order. For lunch there was the main resturant, the snackbar which served pizzas, sandwiches, chips and pasta all made to order.
There is also a turkish restuarant which serves exellent spice bread.

Evening meal is served in the buffet restuarant which had plenty to choose from or in the a la carte Turkish or Fish.

Anyone fed up with the food must be very fussy.

Animation team worked so hard especially muzzy and gizzmo who were mad.

Holiday was exellent and have booked to go back next year.

On arrival (2 am) we were promptly taken to our room with our baggage. The room had a lovely sea-view, a mini-bar (not all inc), free security box and most importantly a good independant inclusive air-con unit.

The room was basic but comfortable enough for 2 adults, fortunatly we had booked another for our teenage son and his friend, although family rooms may be larger? Room service was excellent, clean bed linen and towels every day.

This was the first time we had chosen all inclusive and after reading previous reports were slighty apprehensive on what to expect, I have to say considering the number of guests we all thought the food and choice at every mealtime was excellent i.e dinner - soups, pasta, rice, 2 hot veg dishes,2 hot meat dishes, chips !!, various salads, cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, sweets, ice creams, you would have to be extremely fussy not find something suitable to your palate.

We went to both the fish and turkish meal included in the holiday which were both fine and made a pleasant change from the main restaurant. Just a word of warning the only mossie bites we suffered were here.

The staff were always courteous and always liked a chat when their busy schedules allowed.

Breakfast the first day was about the last time we saw our son for the week !! There were individuals claiming sunbeds before 7, but I think they usually managed to find a sunbed by the main pool.

Most of the daily entertainment was around the main pool and the animation team, Gizmo, Muzzy, daniel, diesel to name a few, worked extremely hard to get everyone (Brits, Dutch, Belgians, French and peoples from the former USSR) involved.

We usually spent any sun bathing/swimming time on the beach and always found a sun bed ! The Hotel is situated in a bay and the beach after an initial 20 feet of stones and then rock has a sandy bottom. It is cleaned every morning but unfortunately because of it's position in a larger bay and the on shore breeze on somedays there was an accumulation of various plastic bags etc in the water.

We didn't have any problems with the dreaded urchins, however there were plenty of them either end of the beach where it was more rocky.

We would certainly return although maybe at either end of the season when it is cooler.

We were at the Tusan Beach at the begining of July for two weeks.

Having been travelling for 14 hours by the time we reached the hotel, we were welcomed by the friendly reception staff & porters ready to take our baggage up to our room.

The room itself was clean & quite spacious considering there were two single beds and a double in the room. There was also quite a large balcony which came in useful for storing the cases. Most of the rooms seemed to have a sea view, ours overlooked the bay towards Kusadasi town.

Storage was at a premium & I would suggest taking some coathangers with you. Our room had independant air conditioning which was a gods send at night.

In our opinion the food was excellent both in quality and choice. At dinner there was at least two choices of hot dishes and plenty of salads, cheeses and cooked meats. The sweet table had to be seen to be believed!!! Lunches could be eaten at several snack bars as well as the main dining area. The snack bars served everything from turkish snacks to pizzas, pasta, sandwiches and chips. At breakfast there was plenty of choice serving freshly cooked pancakes, omlettes and fried eggs as well as cereals and continental style breakfasts. The restaurant staff were very attentive and friendly. Tables were cleared very quickly so no problem with flies.

The entertainment around the pool and in the evenings was organised by the animation team who worked very hard all day and night and were very friendly. Gizmo and Muzzy were complete nutters!! Evening entertainment was varied and kept the kids and adults amused. Disco was OK but the DJ could do with expanding his CD library. Theme nights would only last an hour then he would go back to playing his own choice of music.

The large pool was great with a sectioned off area for small children. The main part of the pool was big enough not to seem overcrowded. Seating around pool area was compact and all the loungers had towels on them by 7 a.m. but you could usually find seats and loungers in the garden area or on the beach.

Recommend trip to Ephesus as it is very impressive but make sure you take hat, sunglasses, sun cream and water as its very hot. Be wary when going to Aqua Fantasy as they do not allow you to take your own food and drink into the park and their prices for food and drink is quite expensive. They search your bags at the entrance.

We would also recommend a Turkish Bath, very invigorating and seems to work well for the tan, so make sure you go at the beginning of your stay. Kusadasi town is a short dolmus ride (1.5 lira) away. The centre is full of shops selling everything from genuine fake watches and clothes to top quality leather goods but be prepared to get hassled and don't be afraid to say you are not interested as they are very pushy.

If you are flying back from Bodrum in the early hours, we recommend the trip that First Choice organise which gives you a room in Bodrum, a boat trip that includes lunch, your evening meal and transfer back to airport which only takes 30 minutes (as opposed to 2.30 hours from Kusadasi).

All in all we had a brilliant time, met some lovely people and would have no hesitation in returning to the hotel in the future.

The hotel itself was spotlessly clean. The room was cleaned daily. Clean sheets, clean towels ett. The food was on the repetitive side but you'll never starve. Presentation and variety was excellent.

The location was ideal,if you wanted the hussle and bustle of Kusadasi town its only a short dolmus ride away,of which we felt very comfortable and relaxed doing with the recent events.

The hotel staff were very friendly and catered for our every need. The entertainment was provided by the animation team day and night, they were excellent around the pool during the day trying to get everyone involved,my thanks must go to Muzzy, Gizmo and Daniel, also Diesel for making our stay pleasurable. Also I'd like to add the holiday makers that we met were excellent company too.

If I had one complaint it would be most of the other nationalities that stayed there were ignorant and above themselves, but overall we had a great 2 week holiday.

The hotel was very much top show, the grounds and communal areas were cleaner than our room, which although the maid went in daily was never actually cleaned, and the balcony never touched at all-dirt etc from previous guests still there when we were leaving, Bed hard and pillows lumpy.

Fantastic entertainment staff Gizmo, Muzzy, Diesel, etc -Well Done, worked long hard hours.

No sunbeds to be had round main pool, although managed to get one at 6.00 am one day-had to set alarm to get up, then went back to bed-ridiculous!! complained to reception who said it's ok to reserve beds after 6.00am.they only have problem if people try to reserve over night.

Excellent Turkish Bath, It's a must.

Food was plentiful and always something even for my fussy 17yr old and 12 yr old.

The facilities were good - Pool table, ping-pong, football etc. There is a board near the terrace bar listing all activities.

For a relatively last-minute booking, we were very pleasantly surprised by our stay at Tusan Beach Resort. All of the staff went out of their way to be helpful, and unlike in other hotels we've stayed in, this was not just to ensure they received large tips!

The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels. There always seemed to be someone cleaning/hoovering whenever you walked anywhere in the hotel, they obviously take pride in their hotel.

Food was basic but was enough to ensure that even our very fussy 1-year-old would eat something! Lots of different choices, only problem with food being served outside was the flies and wasps flying around the food. Between mealtimes you could always get something to eat, from chips to pizzas and despite the number of people staying in the hotel, I don't remember ever queueing for very long.

The animation team worked very hard, although entertainment was hit-and-miss, Mr Tusan Beach night was very funny, but the 'comedy night' was more a case of laughing at the entertainers than laughing along with them. Translating jokes into 5 different languages didn't help either.

All in all, a very pleasant stay and would not hesitate to recommend Tusan Beach Resort.

This hotel is definitely not a 4 star, more like a 3 star.

The room was cleaned daily, the maid didn't speak English nor never smiled.

The food was nice, you would not starve, although breakfast wasn't worth going down too.

The hotel had a small town with 2/3 shops and bars 15 minute walk away, but Kusadasi centre was a 15 minute bus ride away.

The hotel staff were all miserable, never smiled, nor said hello. The animation team seemed to be about the friendliest. The entertainment left a lot to be desired.
would not recommend this hotel to anyone for the price you pay.

The rooms were very clean and the beds were made daily.

There was a good choice of food (even for fussy eaters).

The location was fine and we would recommend using the dolmus into town as the taxi's were much dearer.

The hotel staff were helpful and the waitresses could have learnt how to smile (must of been the long hours).

The animation team lead by Coco were excellent and Muzzy (must learn how to ride a bike), Gizzmo, Diesel and Daniel (spit roast friend) were brilliant. They kept us entertained and made us laugh.

We would recommend the hotel scuba diving as Serat and his family are great instructors.

Mehmet and the bar staff were cool and worked very hard.

Going back next year!!!!

We have just got back from the Tusan.
When we arrived it had been a really long day the reception staff were waiting and the porters took your cases to your room which was nice.

The room were very nice with safety deposit box which were free, a mini bar which you had to pay for and tv but not many English channels.

The food was nice with lots of different thing to choose from BUT the breakfast was rubbish. My husband went down most days but me and the children only went twice, the snack bar opened at 11am so they went there.

The staff were very nice always cleaning the ashtrays and taking your empty glasses. The only problem was they only had 1 barman working at the busy times so it would take a while to get a drink, and they didn't seem to rush serving the children. My son was waiting about 15 mins and only got served because we went up there.

The entertainment was rubbish there was no bar in there and you had to sit on concrete as there weren't enough cushions to go round.

Watch out at meal times as there were alot of foreigners there and they would just push in front.

2 adults and 2 children aged 8 & 5.

Our first visit to Turkey and it was brilliant, only been back 3 days and ive booked up again for next year.

The hotel is very nice and kept very very clean at all times. Our room was very comfortable with air conditioning and with an excellent seaview(so request one). Daily the rooms are cleaned and clean towels provided by the maids.

We went on an all inclusive basis (1st time) and this prooved great value for money. Daytime consisted of snacks ie pizza, burgers, sandwiches and chips all very nice. Evening meals was buffet style with a range of foods for all and though repeditive at times they were very nice. Soft drinks and alcohol is served through til 2am.

In my opinion the location is excellent especially if you want away from the busy town centre, the hotel is about 10-15 mins drive on frequently passing buses (cost app 60p).

At all times I found the staff excellent, very polite and most spoke really good english.

Without a doubt the highlight of our holiday was the entertainment provided and the individuals (animation team) providing it. They provided a wide range of activities during the daytime and in the evening provided shows/competitions. Head of the entertainment was a very nice man called Koray whom always made sure that all guests were happy with the shows he and his team provided. Entertainment catered for all ages and they operate a no hassle policy( if you don't want to join in you don't have to).

Like I said at the start I immediately re-booked I've only got 350 days until I go again.

This was our first holiday in Turkey and were very glad we chose the Tusan. We had read alot of the reviews prior to going and were abit concerned about the food at the hotel. This however was unjustified as all the food was of a very high standard with plenty of choice.

On arrival at the hotel the greeting was very friendly and we even had our cases taken to our room which was bigger than expected. The hotel complex is huge and no matter where you go it is spotless. All the staff are very friendly no matter weither they are maids, waiters or bar staff.

The entertainment staff heade by Koray are absolutely fantastic and kept everybody entertained. If you didn't want to join in they didn't hassle you which was great. All of the entertainment team spent as much time as they could talking to the guests which makes you feel very welcome.

We can't praise the hotel or their staff high enough as they all do a magnificent job and work hard and very long hours. Our daughter Melissa was especially pleased to see Koray and Diesel just before we left and a big thank-you goes to Koray for seeing us off.

The hotel and staff made a big impression on us so much so we thet we are looking to go back next year if not later this year.

The pool was good, I didn't really enjoy the food but them I'm a fussy eater, lived on chips and salad.

Hello,

My name is Lucy-Lu and my family and I have just returned from the best holiday we have been on.

There are four of us, two adults of 29 and children of 12 and 4.

When we first arrived it was 2 am but the staff were there ready to greet us and accomadate us to our room.

The room was absolutly mind-blowing along with the veiw. Excellent. It was cleaned everyday and the maids always respect your personal space.

The food was great, always things to aquire different taste buds, but trust me you have to be up to eating and trying new things.

Staff throughout our whole stay were fantastic , always made us feel as though we were safe and were friendly towards the children.

Location was great, and i would recommend going to any of the three water parks which are relitivly close to the hotel, and you can take a very cheap bus there if you wish.

Entertainment was great, and kids made loads of new friends, as did us adults.

Would deffinatly reccomend this hotel and Kusadasi was beautiful.

10 out of 10 and shall ddefinatly be returning soon!!!

The hotel was very good, all the staff were very friendly, and the food was always excellent. The only two things that were not good, was the animation tea, one of them was so arrogant. The second thing is that the sheets of our beds were not clean, everyday the same sheets.

Most of all we loved the Turkish Hammam, it was excellent, with off course the handsome masseurs. We want to go back immediately.

We stayed all inclusive at tusan beach. The hotel was clean and tidy, with staff always on the go. Myself and my husband were confident that the children 13 and 15 were safe to go around the hotel day or night, as security was of a high standard.

All staff made themselves aware of the children making note of there parents and they showed sincere kindness towards them. Food was fine, but my children found main restaurant food un usual as it met the different cultures of those staying at the hotel (Russian, German, Dutch and English), but the burgers and pizza throughout the day eased hunger pains.

Hotel was located 5 mins from nearest town were you could jump on the dolmis for about 1.40 for 2 adults and 2 children. Hotel staff were lovely my kids made great friends hi to hayati, and to deniz. The animation team were fab what a laugh, speaking several different languages everyone happy.

Pool games were fun; sun lounges at top end of pool go pretty quick due to the never ending sunshine. Be out by 9am.

All bars accessible but main bar closed at 11pm, so we had to walk around to the other bar which was open for a further hour. Disco every night till 2am, can become annoying when going to bed early "please tell alpha- to change the record". We would go back to the hotel but in august as some of the fun stops September and no ice-cream for kids after august

We stayed at the tusan beach resort hotel on an all inclusive basis. Being able to have food and drink at any time was a bonus for us as small children want to drink and eat at odd times.

The hotel was very clean and if you put your drink down it would be whisked away if it was almost empty. The food was ok. The pancakes in the morning especially and the pizzas during the day. The staff were very friendly and funny and I have never been anywhere before where they make such a fuss of the children making them feel special’s cannot really comment on the entertainment as with a small child bedtime was early.

One suggestion is that the dinner which was not served until 7.30 could have been earlier with a small child in mind.

The hotel staff were great i work in the industry myself and they certanly met my high expectations, Gino was our Fave, with hyati a close second, they all made a real effort to mingle even tho it was the end of the season, The disco was good, but DJ sexy (alpha) could have done with some more up to date music.

overall we were so please we will be back next year, thank you.

Hi
22 of us have just returned from this hotel. If I had gone to the hotel on a self catering holiday it would have been fine. The hotel is very clean and well looked after. The pools are to small for an all inclusive hotel, One of us had to be round the pool by 6,30 am or we would not have got a sunbed.( we only wanted 6 between 22 of us not one each) Day time entertainment was great, something going on for all ages, but at night it was not worth staying around for. We found some nice bars ten min walk to the right of the hotel, offering free mini bus home which was great. Food was not worth eating, cold and as one person said canteen food. Nothing for children, but the bar snackes in the day kept them fed. Great views from hotel.

Not a hotel we will be going back to, but then everyone has different taste.

Hotel Tusan Beach was one of the best holidays ive had yet, it was a 4* hotel and i don't know why its not 5*. we arrived at 6.30 in the morning the staff were very helpfull offering to take your luggage and smiling faces. The beach was just 50m away from the hotel and no roads to cross, the water sports which weren't motorised were free if you were all inclusive. The pools were usally packed and all sunbeds gone except if you get down there early. There was sports in the pool during the day except Monday because the animation have a day off.The beach was clean , but when you first get into the water the first 3m there is some pebbles and flat smooth rocks after that the water was sandy right the way through. In the evening there wasn't much to do for teenagers except watch the animation team who were of the normal standard. There was a disco for over 18 which started after the animation had finished which went on till the early hours of the morning.Breakfast- was the usual cearal, cooked breakfast, fruit, toast and in the grill area was excellent pancakes, omlettes and fried eggs.Lunchtime- was what you would expect except from the few Turkish foods, also freshly cooked foods in the grill area. You can't go into the restaurant wearing your swim wear you have to be covered up.Tea-the restaurant opened at 7.30 but if you went in later the restaurant would be much calmer. The bar called "Assos" was the quietest bar and was the bar which stayed opened the latest 12.00 the barmen who were there the 14 days we stayed were very friendly. There was a friday market in Kusadasi. Overall the hotel was fantasic!

The Hotel was very clean and comfortable with lots of friendly staff only too willing to help.

The main pool area was far too small to cope with the number of guests and as none of our party was prepared to get up at the crack of dawn to get a sunbed we spent most of the time on the beach or on the grass areas. Due to not being around the main pool we missed out on the daytime entertainment because it was not publicised very well - the animation team did not come to the grassy areas to advertise what was happening.

Evening entertainment was in the ampitheatre where you had to sit on stone steps, often without a cushion, to watch the shows etc. I did not find this comfortable at all and with an elderly person in our group did not see one show. The kids enjoyed the disco and met lots of friends.

Security was on hand to ward off any trouble (which there was none) and I was not worried about leaving my daughter at night.

We got three kids of 13, 15 & 16 free of charge with JMC so we were more than pleased.

I was concerned about guests getting drunk on the all inclusive, but I did not witness any drunk behaviour whilst we were there.

The food was very basic but you could always find something to eat and it was plentiful. Salads were good as were melon and deserts and they were replenished as soon as they were running out. The grill was adequate but often you had to wait while the chef cooked the food - you had to time getting your food or everything would have been cold.

Overall an enjoyable restful holdiay and I would visit it again next year whilst I can still get two kids free!!!

We have just returned from a wonderfull two week stay at the Tusan.

It is a big hotel which is always spotlessly clean. The public areas are very grand but the carpets are very tired and the rooms are a bit basic, but the lovely views from the balcony makes up for this, and anyway you only need the room to sleep, wash and get changed in.

Sunbeds by the pool were like gold dust, but thats the same wherever you go. We always managed to get sunbeds on the beach without getting up at some rediculous hour. This did suit us as we prefer the salt water.

The beach is sandy with a few pebbles as you enter the water. You can walk out for quite a way with the water at waist height.

The food was ok, and yes a bit repetative but they are trying to please everyone. We always had plenty on our plates, even our son who is a fussy eater had a platefull everynight. Lunchtime snacks are the same everyday and very nice. Teos bar where they serve turkish snacks is well worth a try especially the meatballs. We tried both speciality resturants while we were there, the kebab one is alright but the view being the only decent thing about the seafood one.

The staff are very polite and cheerful and work very hard all day long, even the staff in the shopping arcade are very helpful, especially the jewelery shop.

The evening entertainment was pants, well from an adult point of view, but our children seemed to enjoy watching, and the amphitheatre is a lovely setting.

We met loads of very nice people and the children made lots of friends. Infact we enjoyed it so much that we have already booked to go back again same time next year.

The hotel was situated right next to the beach which was great when you wanted to get away from the pool.

If you see the animator hayati tell him I said hi and i'll see him soon. xxxx

We have just returned from an excellent holiday at the Tusan Beach Resort in Turkey the last week in August and the first week in September.

Location
The Tusan is located on its own private beach about 3 miles outside the main resort of Kusadasi and about 1 mile from the local resort of Kustar (a few restaurants and shops).
Dolmuses pass the main gate of the hotel going to Kusadasi via Kustar about every 3 minutes and charge about 1.250000 (about 50p) each way
The hotel stretches for about 250 yards along the seafront and the views from most parts of the complex are stunning.

Facilities
The complex has two pools, the main one is where most of the activities and games take place, and the smaller pool is a lot quieter and ideal for relaxing around.
The inside of the hotel is very impressive with large spacious areas with comfortable chairs, settees, plants and trees inside.
There is a shopping area with a hairdresser, jewellers, photographers, leather and clothes shops and a small shop selling crisps/sweets/papers etc.
The hotel has its own Internet café, which charges about £1.60 for one hour, and the computers also have some games on them (works out a lot cheaper than the usual arcade machines which other hotels we have stayed in have)
There are a couple of pool tables, which have seen better days but they are free, so can’t really complain.
The hotel uses a system called TOM’s which is an electronic tag on a removable wristband which you give to the member of staff who is serving you, who puts it on some kind of electronic reader. At the end of your stay when you check out you settle up for any chargeable items (ie Internet café)
The hotel was very clean with staff always working to keep it that way.

Rooms
The rooms were clean and spacious, cleaned every day and new towels if you wanted them. The rooms all had safes in them (free) TV (only BBC World in English) a mini bar fridge (chargeable) and air conditioning.
Most rooms appeared to have good views over the sea.

Food
We had no problem at all with the food in the main restaurant even my son who can be a fussy eater at times always managed to fill his plate and empty it!
I can understand other people’s comments about choice of food for English palates, but personally I feel that if I go to Scarborough I would expect fish and chips but if I go abroad I expect different food.
We were there in the last week Aug/first week Sept and never had a problem finding a table in the restaurant.
The hotel has 2 a la carte restaurants which you can use once each during your stay (you have to prebook with reception) We enjoyed the Turkish one more than the fish one but both made a nice change from the main restarant.
During the day there are two places serving snacks , the pool bar has pizzas, burgers and various sandwiches (recommend the chicken) and in another area was a snack area/small restaurant serving Turkish food.

Drinks and bars
Drinks at the bars were fine - Efes on draught and local varieties of spirits, the longest we had to wait to be served was once about 5 minutes and the rest of the time occasionally a minute or so (I wish could say the same about some English bars).
A couple of times my 14 year old son (who can easily pass for 16/17) was a few feet ahead of me and ordered a soft drink for himself and a beer for me and straight away the bar staff refused him the beer until they realised it was for me.
The only minor criticism I can really make about the bars is that they were all towards the main pool end of the hotel and if you were at the smaller pool you had about a 75 yard walk for drinks.

Entertainment / Activities
During the day there was plenty of things going on if you wanted to get involved the usual aerobics water polo volleyball, etc. The staff tried to get people to join in but didn’t hassle you if you did not want to join.
Evening entertainment was a bit limited, mini-disco for the young ones, followed by the usual type of sketch or games in the small amphitheatre (if you get their early enough you can get a cushion to sit on)
After the entertainment finished there was a disco till 2am if that was what you wanted.
Overall the entertainment was no better or worse than the usual standard at most hotels we have been to.

Staff
All the staff were extremely polite and helpful (always greeted you with a smile), the entertainment staff all seemed to make an effort to get to know people and get them involved (anyone going in the near future – say hi to Rosa, Costa and Fatiye!)

Overall we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and certainly would consider going back in the future at some stage.

Small but clean beach, mind the spiky fish. Wear something on your feet.

Staff excellent but the maitre de needed a small class in helpfulness!

Clean and tidy but a bit of a walk to the bus stop. Only 10 minutes to town and Id visit other beaches if you want the best, Ladies Beach nice but our favorite was Paradise Beach quiet uncommercialised and clean.

Food mainly was the same thing every night which was a bit dissapointing.

It was a long journey to the town centre aswell

Just got back from the Tusan beach resort

Well we will start at all the good points first
The rooms are excellent very clean and well set out and bed linen is changed every day, the hotel is very well set out and clean all staff are very polite and helpfull. the pool areas is excellent. the hotel is very safe with 24 hour security on patrol

Beach very clean, sea safe to swim in.

Disco from 11.00pm till 2.00am excellent for the younger ones.

Now for the BAD side ( sorry about this but people should know )
The food is appalling most of the time it was cold ( even if you went in when the restaurant opened and I never knew you could do so many things with meat balls.if you wont any english food forget it, chips are as near as you are going to get all the food is aimed at the foreign tourist
I would say that if there was 1000 tourist at the Tusan 50 were english

We ate out every day because of this and we are not fussy eaters
Entertainment to be truthful is crap we went out every night because of this also.

Activities during the day are few and far between.
I would not recommend this hotel if you wont to have a good time

Dave

We have just arrived back from the Tusan Beach Resort, all i can say if you are on your way you are in for a real treat. The hotel is spotless there is always someone cleaning. The Hotel is very plush and big, you get to go to two Al acart meals both with sea views and both very nice, there is aways plenty to eat and drink i recommend the pizzas and the cocktails. My teenagers were in their elements they made lots of friends, its a very friendly place.
If you are cat lovers like my family you will be in for another treats there are lots of new kittens.
The location is abit out of it but the buses are very frequent and cheap, dont forget to go to the market on Frridays you will get some brilliant bargins there.
Nothing much more to say apart from wish it was me going back this year.

The hotel was fabulous, and I would definitely go back next year!!!

Wasn't too keen on the food as it was the same everynight and didn't really change much but the icecream was nice!

The only other bad point about the hotel was that there was never any sunbeds around the pool so you had to wake up at the crack off dawn for them!!!which is pointless!

The staff were all pleasent but the chefs and waiters were a bit forward with teenage girls if you know what I mean!

The hotel itself was fantastic, and allthough the food choice got slightly repetetive, after 2 weeks it was ok.

The location was some distance from the main town area but we enjoy walking and there were dolmus,s stopping regulary outside the entrance to the hotel so not a problem.

The main problem we found was how shall I put it, certain bar staff avoiding serving you over other guests, quite clearly avoiding you to serve others. This appeared to depend on your gender and also if you tipped on a regular basis. Tipping I haven,t a problem with but when on an all inclusive basis I don,t expect to have to tip in order to get a drink. As for my gender theres not much I could do about that without major surgery!

we went first week in june 2004. the location is magnificent with views across the bay to kusadasi.the food was really good with plenty of selection options.

the beach is excellent and blue flag rated.you can walk out 50 metres and still be standing in the water.the water sports are segregated between motorised and non motorised which is a good safety feature.the resort is well set out and very picturesque.

the staff where all accomodating to your requirements and went out of there way to help.the room was adequate yet cleaned and changed by maids daily.the entertainment was so bad it was fantastic, the sketch nights are not to be missed,we all hurt with laughter.all inclusive is as it says with no extras charged.a tip would be try for a room on the 6th(top)floor,which is what we did as the view is stunning.if you are booked at this hotel, you have a lot to look forward to,i and my family would all recommend it highly.

When we arrived at the hotel all the staff were very friendly and wanted to welcome us. When we got to our room we found the view very fasinating and beautiful (we recommend the 6th floor for a lovely sea view. The hotel itself was very clean and the maid cleaned your rooms every day. The food was very nice and they had a lot of variety although it was a bit repetitive. The beer was very strong but very nice as we got pissed every night. They have a lot of brand names like archers, vodka, bircardi, martini, taboo. The staff are very friendly and good looking so i recommend you get in there if ya know what i mean! The entertainment was absoultly faboulous i was in creases everynight.

This hotel was in a beautiful setting, all rooms had a wonderful view, all the restaurants did too.
The staff were very friendly and the hotel and rooms perfectly clean, there was even a man going round getting the cigarette butts out of the ashtrays!
There was a choice of restaurants and the food choice was good. All the restaurants seemed to have lovely views. The location of the hotel was a bit out of it but the busses come along at the bottom of the hotel about every5 mins and if you just walk along, they will stop for you. The best bit about this holiday was the price and it was truly all inclusive, if you didn't set foot outside the hotel, you didn't need to spend a penny. It was all provided.

My wife and 1 stayed there first two weeks of September 2003, the hotel was only about half full, so plenty of room around pools and on beach. The hotel is large and grand, lots of big open areas and marble everywhere. The rooms were comfortable and adequate but just starting to show signs of the end of the season. The food was generally good though a bit repetative.
The private beach is quite small though there is a large public one a short walk down the road.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The entertainment was so bad it was worth watching for that reason. The hotel has many different nationalities staying so every announcement is made in six or more languages.
It is also about five miles from town but buses run every few minutes so it is not a problem.
We enjoyed our stay and can not make any complaints about this hotel if like us, you want a cheap couple of weeks in the sun.

My fiance and I went here in July for two weeks. The hotel was excellent. Very clean all of the time too. Staff were good (most of the time). The entertainment was a bit lame but the disco wasn't too bad after you'd begged for English Dance music to be played (!) We made friends with a few members of staff and some other guests. The food was good although I recommend getting in the restaurant early. The pizzas in the snack bar were lovely. They could have done with having a few more sunbeds but we always managed to nab two before breakfast. The weather was unbelievably hot (40s). Kusadasi in our opinion is a bit of dump and although the hotels was excellent we wouldn't go back because we didn't like Kusadasi.

We found the hotel the best we have stayed in.The rooms are comfortable, very clean and all the staff very friendly as are all the local people we met.The food is well prepared and presented and mid afternoon burgers, pizza and chips are avaiable if you are all inclusive. The entertainment is not the best in the world but ten minutes stroll from the hotel is a small village bars, shops,a restaurant and disco, all are friendly and will even drive you back to the hotel.Kusadasi is only a few miles down the road and the bus service is every few minutes. We are so satisfied we are going again in May 2004

Well, I don't know where to start really!!

I'm 16 so this viewpoint will probably be of interest to people with children because you can get a teenagers perspective on the resort.

Firstly, can I just give a pointer to first time people to Turkey, because we would have appreciated this info when we went, when you get out of the airport there are porters waiting, but only give them your baggage if you are prepared to pay up to £2 a bag!!

Right, Tusan, the overall place is very luxurious, but the location is a bit out of it. If you want a quietish holiday its good, but the nearest big town is about 15mins drive. There is a very small town with quite a few pubs which I would recommend, the Tulip is great for food and entertainment. The entertainment at the hotel isn't up to much at night so you might want to go out. They have various activities throughout the day which are extremely good for children, and the disco at night, but this can be a bit dead!!

The staff can speak english quite well and they are really friendly- the best in any hotel I have been to. If you go all inclusive it is great, dont forget you can go in the sauna and turkish bath absolutely free on all inclusive!

The food is repetitive but ther is a wide selection to suit most tastes; from normal fried eggs to yoghurt soup! The beach is quite narrow, and its a bit seaweedy, but there is a larger beach right next to it. I think the range of watersports available more than makes up for this however, I went parasailing, jet ski-ing, on pedaloes(free) and on the banana boats on the complex and I organised scuba diving through the hotel.

I can highly recommend these, there's no point going on a holiday to sit down all day!I could go on but I think I'll leave it at that and say it was one of the best hols I have ever had!!!
