| said: Apartments are very clean spacious. Two single beds and a sofa in the lounge. Plenty of wardrobe space and an astonishing amount of coat hangers! Bathroom is basic but managable once you get used to the shower. We were in a downstairs apartment so didn't have a balcony, but found the courtyard area outside the room to be quite charming with an abundance of fruit growing in amongst the jasmine. Location is very handy with all ammenities within about 5 minutes, although the set back location meant the pool area was nice and quiet.There were plenty of sunbeds available at any time of day although it may be different in high season (although a large stack of spares could be seen) The staff were all very friendly and helpful and kept the place spotless. There is a poolside bar serving drinks and snacks but as we only had a drink can't comment on the food. Would definatley return.

| said: We went to Stalis in the summer. It was brilliant!!
We chose to stay in the Irelena II apartments. It was self catering which suited us fine because of the large range of restaurants and tavernas on offer. The apartments are typical Greek style, very basic but it has all you need.(I found air conditioning a must, it is payable locally)
Entertainment wise, Stalis will cater for a lot of your needs.
It has cocktail bars, pubs restaurants e.t.c. If you want to experience Greek nighs I would suggest Restaurant Creta situated on beach road on the Malia side, it has a sea view and the owners are amazingly friendly.(Just ask for Liam, he'll look after you)
The food is good too...
It has a great location because your set back from the noise but no more than a 5 minute walk away from the centre of stalis. What more could you ask for? We have already booked to go back next year because we enjoyed it so much...

| said: we had a beautiful room,the hotel was spotless,we were self catering but the food that slav(also called steve)cooked behind the fully stocked bar was excellent,he couldnt do enough for you.before the end of the holiday he became a very good friend.he kept the swimming pool very clean as well as the rest of the hotel,our room was very big including a sofa,fridge,toilet/shower,and a lovely balcony.you can hire fans but to be honest for £1.00 per dayroughly you can have air conditioning,a must when you come home from a hard day at the beach&beautiful at night for a good nights sleep.well worth the money.slav if asked will put some music on by the bar,its not the hotel for party animals who want to party all day&night its more a family,couples,hotel.we loved it here&when we returned to the uk,we went back and booked for next august.the beers reasonable at £1.10 for the bigger bottle of lager,good selection of beers&spirits.we had the best time&cant wait to return.ithe hotels only5mins from the beach&nightlife.will say the trips were over expensive bought from the rep,better buying them locally for a better deal.have a lovely time&say hello to slav for us thanks.chris&teri.

| said: We stayed in the Irelena 1. The apartments were basic, but very clean.
Sheets and towels were changed once while we were there.
The pool and pool area is kept spotless by a guy called Steve.
There are several sun loungers around the pool, and also the pool at the snack bar next door can be used.
Location is excellent, just a couple of minutes walk from the resort centre, but down a side road so it is really quiet at night.
There is a snack bar next the pool, selling very basic items, but we didn't bother with this, as there is a Taverna next door serving a far larger variety.
