| said: This was our first time in Turkey and it wont be our last. The hotel was basic and clean with pleasant surroundings and fantastic staff, who would do anything to help you. Mehmet and Jamie arranged a barbecue and entertainment, well worth staying at hotel for that experience, I would only advise you not to have too many of Jamies vodkas they are lethal!!! Being in the old town was ideal. It was a pleasant 10 minute walk into the main town, where you will find all the pubs and restuarants that you need to make your holiday. Would definately consider the hotel again and would recommend it to anyone going to Turkey for the first time.

| said: we had an excellent holiday at the sun village in september, the apartments were basic but very clean and spacious . the staff melmet and jamie were very helpfull couldn"t do enough for u,always have a smile and laugh with us. we are going back next year.these apartments should be 3star.I think this is more a couples apartments.

| said: We have just had 2 glorious weeks at the Sun Village Apartments in the old village in Icmeler. The apartments are clean and well kept what more could anyone ask for. We found the staff to be very welcoming and eager to please. We absolutely loved it. Mehmet and Jamie are brilliant and very entertaining. This was our 4th time in Icmeler and each time we stayed in different apartments but we loved the Sun Village so much that we have booked again for next year due to the helpfulness and friendliness of Mehmet, Jamie and the rest of the staff.

| said: we have just returned from our first holiday in icmeler turkey and i can safely say it will not be our last, what a wonderful place, we stayed at the sun village and i have to say what a welcome from Mehmet and Jamie (he's crazy but lovely) . the apartments are situated in the old village and we thought this was great no noise from the town at night when you needed to sleep but it was a 10 minute walk to all the lively bars if you wanted it. The apts were basic but cleaned daily and the airconditioning was great as it was hot and humid at night time, but you did need to leave your key fob in otherwise the electric cuts out and you have no air conditioning and no fridge so we took our key off the fob but left the fob in continuously. the entertainment was limited but we did have a turkish/barbeque night which we enjoyed.

| said: we were on a self catering holiday, at the sun village apartments.when we arrived the room we were suposed to have was nor ready,we had to get the t.c. rep to speak to the owners, and we were informed the room would take 3hrs to prepare it later transpired the owners let you keep your room when leaving to earer your collection time for £20 pounds and this was why our room was not ready as another guest was keeping our room. the clenliness of the hotel was less than expected. there were no materials available to wipedown work surfaces, or to clean pots ,pans, or the sink. when my wife asked for this ,she was told go to the shop. we were asked if we wanted air con, and said yes the price was £30 pounds per week,£60 per fortnight, that was ok. but after paying the £60 pounds every time we left the appartment someone switched it off, when we came back the appartment was very hot and took ages to cool down again.

| said: When we first arrived at sun village we thought it looked horrid but after the first night it turned out to be really good until the second week. A family arrived from northumberland and they were terrible they took our floaty bed and the second day they were there they took small rubber rings from the kids. The day we were leaving me and my son were listnen to them chatter in the pool the daughter quoted to her mother 'i think that familly are leaving tonight' the mother quoted 'great it can't come quick enought and i will have that floaty bed. so that night we were leaving we went around the back of hotel were the floaty beds were so were took a tooth pick and burst it .hahahahah..... apart from the horrid people spoiling our second week it was fine. the staff were great ecspeccialy memet.

| said: We stayed for one week in these apartments and loved every minute. The cleaner was brilliant cleaning room and changing bedding and towels every day. The location is just right about a steady 10-15 min stroll to centre. Mehmet and Jamie were great fun and would do anything for you I would definately vist these apartments again

The people who work there are amazing and can't wait to see them again the rooms are very nice and big and I would recommend this apartment to anyone.

| said: Sun village apartments - Icmeler. Nice and relaxing apartments. Not very busy, but everyone was very friendly. Rooms cleaned everyday, food was basic but very good.
Location ideal - not to far from the resort centre / beach. Staff were very friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Entertainment was what you made it.

| said: On arriving at the Sun Village apartments we could see that we were in the wrong complex. We had booked for Club Sun Village apartments we were told that nothing could be done because that it was impossible for this to happen, as Sun Village is run by Thomas cook and Club Sun Village is run by Thompson.
Never the less we, we being my wife and I, did not see the Sun Village apartments in the holiday brochure and did not like the assumption that we had made a mistake, being in our fifties we are not yet losing our minds. Towards the end of the first week a new family arrived and surprise surprise it had happened again, only this time the woman was in tears. Good start to anyones holiday. Please make sure that you double check before leaving for your holiday.
Having said all of the above we did enjoy our stay at Sun Village, but we will never know, we might have enjoyed Club Sun Village better.
As for the entertainment if you like loud music at all times of the day and night you should love it. For myself I love all kinds of music just not as loud as this.
Staff are very helpful and apartments are quite clean.

| said: This is the second time that we've stayed at the Sun Village apartments, because we had such a good holiday after the first time. Once again, we were not disappointed.
The apartments only run on a self catering basis, but the price and quality of the local food was excellent, so we had no need to eat in the apartment.
There is an outside bar and restaurant where you can eat anything from a burger or toastie to a full meal, and the food was at least as good, if not at times better, than some of the local restaurants.
The Hotel is fairly clean, with a cleaner coming in every day to the apartment, and all the public areas were also cleaned and washed down every day, along with the pool.
The pool area is very pleasant and clean and well maintained, with plenty of sunbeds, but the floor is tiled and was slippy, although some matting has been placed around the pool.
the apartments are on the outskirts of Icmeler, about 15 minutes steady walk to the beach, or you can catch the dolmus into the town, which is very cheap and easy.
All the staff in the apartments were very friendly. The ones responsible for the day-to-day running of the apartment speak good English, and will go out of their way to help, and will rustle up a meal at midnight if asked. My only complaint is their taste in music, as 90% of the music in the bar was Rap music, usually played too loud.
The staff organise a Turkish night fairly regularly at their sister apartment, Club Sun Village. This is an excellent night, with good food and entertainment at a very reasonable price.
They also organise a regular boat trip which is a great day out. The apartment owners use their own boat, which is fairly basic, but the service and food are second to none. They stop in several quiet, secluded bays for swimming or sunbathing, and cook a barbeque, salad, pasta ect all on the boat. I can't recommend these trips highly enough, and they were one of the highlights of the holiday for us.

| said: We stayed in Club Sun Village during the first two weeks in July and it was fabby! We are going back in 3 days as it was absolutly amazing!!
The staff were fun, and knew how to entertain the kids while parents had a couple of cold beers at the bar.
Apartments were clean and had cleaners every day. With a heart shaped pool, and lots of loud music, there was plenty to do if you just wanted to spend a day at the hotel, but if you dont like being chucked in deep water, stay away from Mehmet who is always trying to get people into the pool!

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment .. and there was 2 adults and 2 children .. and we found there was plenty space.
The pool was great ... very clean ... and the food that Chris makes is to die for ... my son who is 10 ... adored his food ... and still talks about it now.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is in need of a relaxing holiday .. as it is about 10 mins away from the centre .. but not to far away of a really good night out ... thanks again to sun village.

I went with my parents and my 2 kids we went twice last year and we met other people who stayed there and we still keep in touch we are going back again we had such a great time not much.
Entertainment but the staff make up for it.

| said:I haven't yet been to these apartments however we have booked to go in June 06 and after looking at there website i emailed Ebo to ask if they could send me a few more pics of the apartments as there were only 2 on the website. I was suprised how quickly they got in touch and sent me some lovely pics of the apartments and was really friendly in there email. I cant wait to go to these apartments now next year and if the apartments are as nice as Ebo then i'm sure myself and family will love it there. Thanks again Ebo. Look forward to meeting you's

| said: The apartments are very clean and tidy.There were only two of us in the room so there was plenty of space as it was a 1 bedroom apartment.It is situated near the old village in Icmeler so it was nice and quiet at night and you were only 10 minutes walk from the town centre.There wasn`t any entertainment but the bar was open at all times if you wanted a refreshment.The owners and staff were really nice and friendly and we will almost certainly return to these apartments.

| said: The Apartments were very clean and the staff were good except that they did annoy you some times.
The bar snacks were good and the area around the pool was really clean.
Always close your balcony doors at night when you are asleep as we had someone come in and stole money and a phone.
