| said: We stayed september/October 07 and we loved this apartment so much.
The cleanliness was First Class. The cleaners were fabulous and you always felt very comfortable and welcome as the staff were very friendly.
I didnt eat in the restaurant but my family did once or twice and they loved it.
The entertainment was great for all ages from karaoke to snake charmers, BBQ'S and dancers. There were three pools all very clean and not too crowded and also a computer room with iternet which charge but at very low cost.
On the premises you have turkish mud baths and hairdressers ect and gumbet town and Bodrum was near by but would need to take a bus or taxi.
The saturday market is worth going to as its even cheaper than the shops even though the shops are extremely cheap. In gumbet or Bodrum its better to book day trips such as boat trips, market and swimming with dolphins than booking with the reps.
I would definately recommend the boat trip as you get to go to several places such as caves, camel beaches and swimming in the sea.
I recommend this holiday to people of all ages!!!! its the best!!! P.S try out the turkish mud bath; Its devine!!!!!

The food from the hotel is not recomended very poor be careful where you eat out if you find a particular place you like stick to it to be safe because I was ill after the second night for the rest of the week.
The cleanliness of the place was good the maid was lovely she left liffle notes and scattered flowers over the beds.
The location I thought was perfect 2 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes away from the night life. (which was amazing)
The hotel staff were quite cheeky they dont give you your change they put it in there tip box and they can be quite rude. Not all of them some of them.
We also found because we didnt take part in any of the hotels entertainment the organiser became funny with us.

The studios we stayed in werw lovely and spacious and very clean, our maid would clen up all our mess and even fold our clothes. We only ate in the hotel once and i would suggest not to have a sunday lunch. the hotel location was brilliant right on the beach five mins from the centre only two pound in the taxi. The hotel staff were excellent especially ems the barman so friendly, and the receptionist brought our keys out to us every night even changed his shift to say goodbye to us. We didn't stay in the hotel at night, but i think the entertainment was really good of what i saw. i can honestly say i will be back again sometime in the near future.

| said: We arrived at the Jasmin at 2.30 in the afternoon to be greeted by a lovely receptionist who spoke very good english.
We had a very quick check in which is very helpful after travelling. We were took to our room 901 right behind the main pool bar.It seemed quiet noisy by people passing to use the pool and not much privacy. We asked for a room move but were asked to give it a try, which we agreed. In the morning though I was straight to reception to ask to be moved as the noise from the bar went on to the early hours not good if you want to rest and have two children. They had no problem moving us into a quiter room which was lovely close by the turkish bath .
This is a must on your first couple of days really relaxing. The barbers is also great for a shave and braiding hair would not really recommend a blow dry though.
We stayed at the main bar.Which was clean and the staff were lovely and really love children. They all tried there best to understand you and did a great job.
The childrens club was great although my daughter only went the last week she loved it but as we was with my travel had to pay to use first choice one but still the holiday was alot more expensive with first choice so it still cost us less.
We ate snacks at the main bar of a day which were lovely and also they done a full english breakfast for a pound so take pound coins with you as it works out a bit more if you pay in lira still a great breakfast though. We ate one time at the restaurant of a night and there steak isnt a patch on minstral which is just on the beach front.Other nice food places are windy bay and columbia.
To be honest I wouldnt reconmend eating there of a night. We had a great night at the Turkish night at the hotel food was lovely and entertainment great. But that was the only entertainment on during the week apart from being entertained by the bar boys.
The shop is very expensive so get on a dolmus to migros a big cheaper super market. Also watch the price of the photo mans clocks etc they are cheaper on bar street.
The Jasmin was a great place to stay and I will be returning next year.

The apartment was clean and basic towels were big and fluffy bed linen also clean, the hairdryer in the bathroom was not much good over heats and cuts out very quickly.
There are three pools in all the main one being were the restaurant and bar is and can get quite noisy, there is a smaller pool by the top bar with lovely views.
Staff are all very friendly.
All in all a good place would go back, just beware when you ask for the bill make sure you check it, we had to point out a few times about over charging.

| said: Came back from Jasmin Saturday 21st and very happy to leave these apartments.
Arrived on 14th and were placed in studio right on the edge of the swimming pool and bar with stained sheets. Upgraded to apartment for a cost of £50.00 which on first glance, although cold and bare looked better than the previous. On closer inspection found pillows and pillow cases dirty. Had two very small thin bath towels left, no hand towels, no bath mat, one of the towels looked as if someone had cleaned the floor with it. No toilet paper, dirty sink still had toothpast round it from previous occupier, plastic table and chairs all stained, no balcony furniture, shower head broken so you could not take shower unless you stood holding it up with one hand which you couldn't do anyway as there was no hot water! Just two sheets on the bed. Complained immediately and was brought clean sheets, pillows, pillow cases and the apartment was cleaned the next day although we went out and bought own cleaning materials and cleaned ourselves as well. Shower head was repaired and hot water sorted out. We were offered another room but were reluctant to move again as maybe next room just as bad so settled for having all the faults put right, which in all fairness they did very quickly.
There were some good points as in friendly staff and fairly good location but overall very cold uncomfortable apartment. We arrived Saturday and left Tuesday to stay with friends in another part of Turkey as we did not feel we could stay a week in the apartment, which always felt cold and grimy due to first day experience there. We returned Friday night just in time to pack and catch coach to airport on Saturday.
Admittedly it was the end of the season but we ended up paying virtually £200 each for the week which I do not consider cheap for October self catering. Would not stay here again if they offered if for free!

Had one breakfast in Jasmin not impressed. Had most meals in calypso bar next door. Run by Paul and Kath we were made very welcome and food was superb. Crazy Joe and Arron are brilliant and made our holiday.
Main pool noisy so spent most time on beach. Good beach but have to pay for sun beds. Avoid Sandy’s boat trip (Jasmin water sports)if you want to relax.
It was like an 18-30 booze cruise. Jasmin noisy into early hours. This was our best holiday for years and cant wait to return.

| said: On the first night at the Jasmin I was woken at 6am to the sound of voices which sounded like people were in my bathroom. When investigated I noticed a door joining to the apartment next door which was locked but you could hear the occupents every word. This was every morning and every night. We were also awaken numerous times by people passing out room on the way to bed screaming and shouting and music from the bar area was blasting out until the early hours.
The cleanliness I found to be fair and had our bedding cleaned every 3rd day. On our last day our cleaner did a flower arrangement with pink petals on our bed in the shape of a heart and a note wishing us a safe journey home. This I thought was very sweet.
The staff at these apartments were very friendly especially Rafi the magic trick man. He cost my boyfriend his t-shirt just to show him the secret to one trick.
Overall these apartments were pleasent but I have stayed in better.
Word of advice to anyone wishing to visit any part of Turkey do not go to the doctors there. If you suffer with prickly heat etc or you get a severe mosquito bite visit the chemist as the doctors situated in your hotels will have you at a clinic in no time riged up to a drip and will be taking you up to your excess on your indurance.

| said: The first thing we did after checking in was pay for air conditioning, I don't think I could have made it through the night without it.
I was pleased to find the room very clean and tidy as was the bathroom.
I have travelled to many different resorts and would say the maid service was one of the best i've come across (also one day we come back to find our beds decorated with petals and a bunch of flowers from the maid!).
There are three pools, the main pool had lots of children at it so we tried to stick to the other two....if we could get a space.
The Turkish night was a lot of fun, and worth the money, a good variety of food on the buffet and good quality.
The staff were very friendly considering how hard they work. I don't know when they get the chance to sleep!
I enjoyed this holiday so much that I am going back again this year, to the same hotel, but this time with friends.

| said: Three teenage lads, we arrived at the Jasmin at 11pm and was shown to our room,
We went down long dark path ways and up lots of stairs. When we arrived at the room it was like a store room, it had NO windows NO balcony it had a bathroom and 3 small beds and a fridge. The room was very dull, and because it had NO windows the air con was free. Don’t think the cleaners did anything when they came in.
The pool area at the bottom pool was dirty and smelly. Overall we had a brilliant holiday we never let the size of the room spoil our holiday. So if you do go and stay at the Jasmin and they put you in ROOM N74 don’t take it.

Absolutely brilliant holiday, already booking for next year. Hotel grounds really pretty, rooms big although could do with air con in living room aswell as bedroom. Kept really clean.
Staff are fabulous really friendly and always laughing and joking (even after a 14 hour shift!)
Really good location, short walk along beach to the town or catch the dolmus into Bodrum which comes along every ten minutes 24 hours a day - best bus service we have ever experienced.
Look out for happy hours as you can get a pint for 75p, obviously dearer in the hotel. The Parrot Restaurant and The Red Dragon are a definite must to visit.
Also you must try the ice creams for sale along the beach - they are to die for.

| said: We had the most fantastic holiday. The Jasmin was better than expected. Our rooms were the furthest away, but had the most amazing views of the sea and the whole of Gumbet. Rooms very good size, adequate air-con- basic equipment for self-catering.
There are 3 pools. No problem with getting sunbeds - no Germans stay here! Pool area was very pretty- main pool gets very busy though. Staff were great, very helpful. No daytime entertainment. Youngest kids went to the kids club, which they really enjoyed and every week they take kids for 4 hours in the evening which was great for us!
We ate out most nights, would highly recommend china town and far east, brilliant service and fab food. Prices good- compared to Portugal, Cyprus etc as haven't been hit with the euro yet. Drinks expensive in the hotel and the hotel shop - best to stock up at local supermarket.
Don't bother going to Bodrum indoor market- you are packed in like sardines, sweating like a pig, and the shops in Gumbet do exactly the same stuff at cheaper prices!!
This is a perfect holiday for families- we were worried it would be a 'here we go' larger lout place, but as it was school hols and prices rise considerably, this was not thank god the case!
We would highly recommend the Jasmin and will def def def return.

| said: We arrived in the early hours of the morning to these appartments which were allocated on arrival. We were put in room 3 just beside the reception area and pool bar. The room was terrible, the bed was about two inches off the floor with horrible scratchy blankets.
It was basically like sleeping in a kitchen as there was a wall with cabinets sink etc on one side about three foot from the side of the bed.
We were on the ground floor which was like being in a basement the footpath ran above our window. We woke at 11am to the sound of the cleaners clattering about and it was so dark in our room we thought it was still the middle of the night.
The shower room was although obviously cleaned recently severly in need of repair, shower door hanging off, mouldy corners etc.
I was willing to put up with the room although it was depressing because we didnt pay very much for the holiday. My partner though could see it was upsetting me and went to complain at reception. We were moved within the hour to a room that was 2000% better, couldnt believe that it was the same complex.
Up near the top bar the balcony was addorned with flowers, the kitchen was seperate from the sleeping area and the bathroom was a world away from room 3. Also being away from the thumping pool bar music was such a relief.
All I can say is the Jasmine management are doing the rest of their accomodation a disservice by using these extremely poor rooms when they have such excellent ones on offer.
If you go and are unhappy please please complain as this will be the only way to enjoy your holiday. We spoke to other people who had moved from dark noisy rooms to better ones also.
After about 2 days we noticed that three young holiday makers had been put into room 3 and they seemed to stay there, it really is a shame as the room is like a cellar.
Once we had moved we had a great holiday the pools were fine no pool nazis like our Ibiza holiday the previous week with our children. Lilos, balls,... fun all allowed.
Would definatley return to the Jasmine and Gumbet as a whole, very friendly excellent value for money. We are bringing the children to Turkey next year for the first time going to try Marmaris this time.

Spotlessly clean, towels and sheets changed 3 times during our 7 night stay, food and drink slightly more expensive than in resort but you pay for convenience when sunbathing, location ideal, away from any noise but only a short walk into the resort.
Staff all very friendly and help full, entertainement was put on every night but we did not go to any of these as we went into the resort each evening, so we cannot comment on the quality of the entertainment.

On advice from a friend I had asked for a new room as these were larger. Very clean, great view and always hot water. Maids came in everyday to clean and change towels etc.
The pools were great, had no problems with finding loungers etc.
Staff were nice and friendly, entertainment quite good.
Food was nice, although we did mainly eat outside of the hotel, cheap wherever you choose.
The beach was terrible, hardly any sand, and VERY DEEP, not good for kids.
We walked into the shopping area,(be prepared to haggle)
I had no problems walking around as a women on my own with children, even in the evenings it felt very safe.
I would go back, great for a cheap relaxing holiday.

Found the rooms to be very clean and everything in them that we needed, the beds were changed about twice in one week and flowers left on all the beds which was very nice.
We never ate at the hotel we always went next door( great value for money)i thought that the hotel was in a good spot and close to everything beach, taxis, bus stop, shops, and boat trips.
I found the hotel staff to be very helpful and friendly.
We used the hotel pool may be twice as the beach is too close not to use. We went on Sandys boat trip and had a fab day out and was good value.
We are going to go again this year and cant wait. All in all good value.

The staff were helpful and friendly and airtours rep Hazel was also helpful,we booked ths happy bubbles scuba dive through her, the best thing we did , great day out.
Wasnt impressed by entertainment but we went out each night so didnt matter.
We have booked up again for next august and cant wait, it was our first time to Turkey, but it will not be our last.

You can jump in a taxi just outside for about a pound and go into Gumbet centre or for a couple of quid go to Bodrum which I think is amazing.
You can also walk along the beach to the centre but I'm too lazy for this. The hotel is beautiful and the staff cannot do enough to help you.
There is always entertainment if you like staying close by but if not the nightlife in both resorts is plenty fulfilling.

| said: This is the 4th time we have stayed in the Jasmin in 2 years. We are also going back again in Sept.
This year we had the best room yet. There was only 2 of us but they gave us a four bed apartment. The maid comes in every other day to tidy your room, and on the last day she always leaves flowers in your room which is a nice touch.
The hotel is situated close to the beach which is more shale than sand but as we left they were putting more sand down, so hopefully they might extend it up to Jasmin's end. Doesn't stop you sunbathing, but you have to pay for the cushions on the sunbeds. Its 5 lire for all day but you get a free drink of your choice.
The walk down the beach at nightime can be quite dark. Taxi's are cheap enough if you are worried.
The hotel staff are brilliant, they even recognised us from last year which was nice. They always make us feel very welcome.

Food was ok but we tended to eat out.
Tthe location was excellent right opposite the beach, which has been cleaned up since last year.
They were very friendly and helpful, even thou we went into town must nights as we have friends in a local bar there. What entertainment we did see was very good.

The cleaners are brill they are always cleaning something and resort is spotless, had no probs with toilet roll etc.
The food - all we had was there breakfasts which were lovely.
Right across the road is the beach and to walk into town go along the beach and walk up road near Mistrael(looks like dirt track)not along road as this is all uphill.
The staff - what can I say I wanted to bring them home with me SUPERB especially Sport bar at the bottom my little girl is very shy and doesnt to talk to adults but after 1 day she was behind the bar pulling her own drinks and playing in the park.
Dont listen to anyone against this hotel go and try it for yourself and you'll want to keep going back.

| said: We travelled, Me, Hubby and 4 year old son, and our 2 friends joined us also.
We booked Turkey late last year, having never been I was a little apprehensive, how wrong could I be.
We arrived at the Jasmin Beach about 2am Turkish Time, check in was really quick and they allocated us room 901 (this was right next to the pool bar), our friends were in 52 just round next to the Turkish Bath. We were escorted with our cases to our room, please make sure you have some change in Turkish/English as we ended up tipping the "bell boy", and it cost us about 6 English quid for literally 1 minute walk.
The bar was still open and with the little one being asleep we decided to go for a quick drink. We took our trolley and went to the bar we were made so welcome, Memmett was there and he was really lovely, he loves chatting about all sorts of stuff, we headed off to be to get some rest.
The following day we explored the hotel, we could not believe how big it was there are 2 other pools beside the main one. As this was first week of the season it was pretty quiet, but it was great.
The rooms were really clean, although the towels were only changed 3 times while we were there. The light outside our room was broke as soon as we reported it it was fixed immediately. I requested clean towels and they were given, so all in all they were very good.
The pool is spotless, although it was freezing.
The weather was fantastic, but really cold at night, so if you go at this time of year take a cardy/jacket with you.
We went with My Travel, I would probably not travel with them again. The flight was ok going and the food was satisfactory, coming back the food was awful, they don't carry pillows or blankets, which I find a godsend for the little ones. The rep at the hotel was nice and knew loads of stuff about Gumbet etc, there was no kids club provided by My Travel. My son lives going to Kids club, so we ended up paying £30 for him to go to the First Choice one for 8 sessions, he loved it because there were no other kids there apart from him so he had undivided attention from Zoey and Becky, they were really good.
Sedat (playboy) he was so funny he really gets the party going in the bar at night. George fell in love with him, he was brilliant with him, had him behind the bar dancing, on the bar, playing with him on the little toys around the pool, he was wonderful. Also Jedat (I think this maybe Sharky but not 100% sure) from the restaurant, if you go you must ask him to tell you his story, it's rather amusing, he speaks very good English.
Jaffa, is new this year and he is running the sports bar he is very hypo and has a little American twang, (he spent time on cruise ships I think) he gets hypo cos he eats the sugar cubes LOL
Judat (curly hair, not very good English but he tries bless him), he is trying to learn good English at the moment, he is very funny and attentive, and really tries to understand what you are saying, he eats raw lemons a lot, and does some very funny things.
Memmett runs the pool bar and he is lovely he speaks very good English.
Turkish Bath at the hotel, we had to have it done here cos the trip would have been too much for George. We opted for the Bath, Full body Mud Mask and oil massage, we bartered with the guy who runs it, and got it for £100 for 4 of us, me and Laura went first. It was great the guys tickle you (but not rudely) they were great fun we felt really relaxed after it and got lovely sun tans, it's recommended to have it on your first/second day to get rid of all your dead skin.
Gumbet Nightlife
As it was start of season it was pretty quiet, we headed into town most evenings, and stayed at the Frog bar on the front, as George was welcome here, and when he fell asleep they covered him in his trolley with a blanket to keep him warm, the guy who works there is called Martinin he is really funny.
Best places to eat around the Jasmin
Windy Bay - we really enjoyed it here its very cold (hence the name) and windy though so take a jacket, it was reasonable, we paid about £40 for 5 of us to eat, we got 2 free bottles of wine and free garlic bread, the staff are lovely,
In Gumbet itself, if you head up the beach path and turn by the side of the Corner pub as you come to the top of the road there is a place called Steak and Fish house, the food here was out of this world, really tasty, you must try the mixed grill. I have never had meat balls as tasty as this in my life, no junk just pure meat and it costs us £50 for 5 including drinks,
Mundurno Chicken, on the high street, typical Kebabs and sandwiches but also steaks and pasta, really cheap but really nice food, we had some lovely chicken sandwiches there and the shepherds salad is to die for really fresh.
All in all we had a truly wonderful experience of Turkey and would definitely return without hesitation to the Jasmin for a holiday, i could have quite easily stayed for another week and was gutted to be coming home.
Advice
The drinks and food at the hotel are expensive about 3 lira dearer than most places, and although it does not sound a lot to some it is. Having said this, its worth paying the extra to know that you are in for a good night with the lads behind the bar, we went out for dinner most nights but returned around 10pm for the evening. The bar stays open till whenever, I guess, we managed to stay up until 3am one morning and people were still drinking there.
If you have little ones it would be worth your while asking for a room away from the Pool Bar, as it does get really noisy, we were fine as George would sleep through an Earthquake, but if you think its likely to upset you please email the hotel.
Ants
They invaded our room a couple of times, if you don't like them keep your bed away from the wall,
The floor in the bathroom get quite slippy, take an extra towel to use as a mat, as the one supplied would not catch a raindrop, never mind the water from the shower.
The supermarket on site is also quite expensive compared to the one down the road, go there if you can. Do not go on the boat trip offered by Sandy on the front (Jasmin water sports) a few people from our hotel did and came back injured, its really cheap but not worth it, also she will tell you that there are safety nets all around the boats to protect the little ones, this was not true, there are only a few nets.
The dolmus is an experience in itself and you must take one, if you go to Turgertreis Market it will only cost you 1lira 50, really cheap but it does take about 1 hour to get there, a taxi is 40 lira straight there, which is what we did and got the dolmus back.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone,
If anyone is going soon tell Sedat (playboy) George said hello and his photo's are on their way to him.

The apartments were very clean and very nicely decorated and had a small balcony overlooking the gardens and pool.
All of the staff at the apartments were friendly and helpful and the maids were excellent.
We didn't eat at the restaurant so can't really comment on the food however the meals I saw others eating looked very nice.
The hotel was in an excellent location, straight across from the beach and a short walk away from bar street.
Although many people have commented on the prices in the hotel we didn't find the bar to be any more expensive than anywhere else.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and will probably be going back next year.

Accommodation basic but ok, very dull in the rooms due to low energy bulbs everywhere also you never get enough loo roll. Our cleaner was excellent in that he was in every day to empty bins.
Food/drink ok but expensive.
Location is good if you like a nice stroll before you eat in the evening as it a 5 min walk to the local strip.
The bar staff at the upper bar were very good not that keen on the ones at the main pool bar.
Not much on the entertainment front during our stay due to lack of numbers taking up the offers of Turkish nights etc.

We go self catering but have eaten and the restaurant and the food was to a high standard.
The cleanliness of the hotel is second to none, the staff are always walking round cleaning someone's apartment out.
The location is why we come back, it's near the beach but not too far from the bars but away from the noise as well so when you do stroll home you can get some sleep.
Last year we stayed for the BBQ night but wasn't impressed but round the pool in the day the music was just right.
We can't wait to get back there next year.

| said: Just got back from the Jasmin and we were very pleased it was a great place to stay. We were in Acelia block(a21)which had 6 rooms in that block all very clean and modern and had plenty of toilet roll.
We always stayed at the main pool which was good and always got sunbeds due to my daughter getting me up at 8am. Food and drink was expensive but it always is in the hotel.
As for the entertainment we always went out. All the staff where great and my 2 year old daughter was a big hit with them all.
The location was good only 5 minute walk and you were at our favorite restaurant Café de Colombia, good prices and good food, and a free bottle of wine.
Now my only gripe about Turkey is its too expensive a lot more than the UK most of the time, so would I go back to the Jasmin yes if you could move it somewhere cheaper.
One last warning do not buy a beer in Turkey airport 12 ytl ouch !

We arrived early hours and took no time to check in.. staff helped us with our bags.. We dumped our cases in our room which was clean and spacious, and went down to see if the bar was still open... IT WAS.
The next day we had lunch in the restaurant, it was ok but not that great...
We had our nails done in the hotels salon and was quite disappointed by the standard.... although the eye candy in there more than made up for it.. (especially Ali)
Location of hotel absolutely perfect...
Entertainment was ok but we didn't really go to any of the theme nights held there so can't really comment on that.
Hotel staff. what can I say they are all brilliant and really love kids.
Playboy (sedat) was quite an attentive barman.
I have already booked to go back next year.
Recommend it to all.

| said: The Jasmin has a great location and the apartment we stayed in had great views over the bay (but it was 70 steps from the bottom on the apartments, great exercise). We stayed at the the top pool all holiday as there was less children around it, but the music from the bar was loud and they played the same thing all day( 50 cent!!)
The food was not so expensive, it was convient so you expect to pay more.
We had drinks at the sports bar most evenings as there were not so many children there. Its not like we dont like children but it felt like we were on holiday during the summer holidays.
The staff were friendly enough, not sure how we felt about the photographer taking pictures around the pools.
Apart from the great views from the apartment, I cannot really say any thing that positive about the inside, I suppose the saying "you only get what you pay for" is true in this case.
We will not be going here again, but I would recommend it to anyone who likes lively, family friendly apartments.

The room was very basic but had everything we needed
the hotel was kept clean by the very hard working cleaners, lovely ladies, they even put fresh flowers on our beds, the hotel was just over the road from the beach, which wasnt the best beach in Turkey, but there were numerous bars and resturants along it and it was a nice walk in the evenings.
However, if you didnt want to stay in Gumbet there was a taxi rank outside the hotel. There's also an on site shop which is open 24 hours, all the staff at the Jasmin are very helpful and friendly and are on call 24 hours a day to, we were self catering but room service was available.
We always managed to get sunbeds around the pools which were kept very clean, we didnt spend time there in the evenings but they had theme nights, but we wanted to go out and explore the surrounding areas.
All in all a nice family holiday.

I did experience the same issues as many other guests though, with difficulty getting a sunbed and severe lack of loo roll.
We drank at the bar often but it was very overpriced and the quality of the food in the restaurant was very poor considering that it was not reasonably priced.
In the on-site shop a daily paper cost nearly £4! Many people here have recommended the Windy Bay for meals, but personally I wouldn't eat there again if it was free, their spag bol made me severley ill.

The maid did not change sheets for the first 9 days, complained at reception and then they were changed twice in 2 days. Numerous days the maid didn't leave toilet roll, went to reception and was told to buy some from the shop next door!!
Didn't stay in the hotel for any entertainment as the food and drink prices were virtually twice the price of everywhere else. This has put us off going back to Turkey again.

| said: The Hotel itself was a very nice complex in an excellent location.
The pool areas were lovely if you were lucky enough to find a spare sun bed!
Food was mediocre & a bit pricey.
Hotel staff were very friendly and professional, especially the cleaners.
The only real complaint we had was that on arrival we were given a room with no balcony, or even a window! When we booked the holiday First Choice told us that ALL rooms in the hotel had either a balcony or terrace. This obviously wasn't the case! We asked straight away if we could change rooms but were told nothing could be done. After the welcome meeting, our rep (who was extremely helpful) had a word with reception on our behalf & we were eventually moved. The room we were moved to did have a window& balcony, albeit facing directly onto a stone wall!! Still, we appreciated the natural day light!
All in all the hotel was pleasant and I wouldn't rule out staying there again if a room with a window could be guaranteed.

The hotel food was really bad/slow, prices were very high.
Yes granted the hotel was close to Gumbet centre but the steepness of the hills made it nearly imposible to try and walk it to any of the places poeple said were good to eat(more on that later).
Staff were friendly(too friendly for my liking) I would never visit Gumbet or this hotel again. I was even speaking to people around the pool and a lot of families said the same thing.

The resort was amazing, great staff and great service when needed.
We didn't try the resorts food as we ate out every night as the resort is so close to the restaurants and bars.
It's incredibly close to the beach, simply across the road.

| said: We had a studio apartment on 2nd floor next to the 2nd pool bar & restaurant area, which some nights was extremely noisy and we had to complain a couple of times about the level of noise at 4am.
The apartment was very well maintained and cleaned throughly.
The complex is also well maintained. Sunbeds are a mare to get people were putting their towels down at 6am the FC rep took them off once when people complained but that was it. We once took towels off the sunbeds and owners come to the pool at 4pm!
Take you own drinks, the shop and Bar are extremely expensive 5YTL (£2.22) for local Beer, 7YTL (£3.11) - Cider & Imported Beers (i.e Becks Fosters) Water (small) 3YTL - (£1.33) soft drinks 4YTL (1.77). Make a trip to the Migros supermarket on stock up the local beer can be bought for 1YTL per bottle or even to local shops in town a small bottle of water cost 50c (22p).
Entertainment is Ok - But nothing for kids 9 years and over and no daytime pool games or entertainment. We felt that Jasmin was only interested in how much money they could fleece out of us.
Air Conditioning £20.00 per week (In July & Aug it should be free) Safe £10.00 per week.
Food their is ok but eat out better and cheaper.

The facilities were good, beach close great for the kids. pool was good kids spent lots of time there us too!
Restaurant and bar we found expensive especially with 4 kids but we choose to eat out lots anyway.
Town close, good deals on all trips on the beach front especially with Tyson really nice man we went out on his boat trip twice. Highly recommended.
Migros supermarket worth taking a taxi too everything much cheaper even with the taxi fare,
Wouldn`t hesitate to go back to Gumbet or to this hotel.
The hotel dog Princess had puppies whilst we were there great hit with not just our children but all adults and children alike.
Kids clubs were ok our kids prefer to go where we go most of the time. the two youngest did go whilst we took the older two jet skiing and parascending. Excellent first time for all of us.
Grounds of hotel were lovely gardens well kept and tidy.

| said: Although I enjoyed my holiday and would go back to Gumbet, I wouldn't return to the Jasmin Beach.
We were in a studio which I found very dark and uninviting.
The sunbeds are a total joke. You have to put towels down at 7.00 am to get a sunbed (who wants to do that when you work all year)and despite complaining nothing gets done.
The bar prices are a total rip off. 5 Ytl for a beer (£2.20), 10Ytl for a Smirnoff Vodka (£4.50), 8 Ytl for a local vodka (£3.60), 4 Ytl for a soft drink (£1.80) and I was even charged 4 Ytl for a fizzy water out of a machine. It's more expensive than London. I always had the feeling of being ripped off at the bar.
If you go on a boat trip (which are brilliant) don't go with Sandy at the Jasmin, walk further along the beach and book one of them. Sandy's are like a ferry where they cram as many people on as possible (greedy again) whereas further along there are a maximum of 15 families where everyone gets a sunbed.
The Turkish night at the apartments is really good entertainment and tries to get everyone involved and believe it or not it's really good value (for the meal).
I think the people who own the Jasmin are spoiling it for themselves because people will realise they are being ripped off and won't return.

| said: We really enjoyed our holiday, but on arrival we were given room 118 which is at the back of the complex, we were happy with this as we had read reports about noise at night from pool bar.
The room was like the back hole of Calcutta, very dark when we opened the patio doors there was a brick wall facing, my partner complained and asked to be moved, but was refused. I went to reception and was instantly offered a different room. This was also near the back of complex and was also very noisy at night. The air-con is £20.00 per week, and the safe was £10.00 per week.
The situation with sun beds was ridiculous we had to set the alarm for 7am to get a bed, a couple of times there was a guy with bales of towels putting them on beds for people, probably getting paid. We complained but were ignored. The guy who ran the pool area made a suggestion he would remove towels this never happen though. Some days up to half of the loungers were empty until 2-3 in the after noon, they always seemed to get the same place, which was strange.
The drinks at the pool bar were very expensive, 5tl for a beer and 8tl for a glass of wine, which is £2.20 for the beer and £3.60 for the wine, a bit over the top i thought, the supermarket was expensive as well, £3.20 for a bar of soap.
It felt a bit as if the complex were exploiting us, which is a shame as we just took our custom else were.

| said: Found the bar prices amongst the most expensive in Gumbet.
A lot cheaper in the CLUB ADMIRA next door. You could never get a sunbed after 8am.
Some guests put their towels out 3.am and didnt use them until late afternoon. The beach area in front of the hotel was the only one that charged you for using the sunbeds.
There was a lot of thefts from the rooms when we were there.A large beer in the Jasmin was 5 ytl whereas in the resort you could get one for 2ytl !!!!.This is why the bar was never busy.

| said: Stayed at the Jasmin Beach Apartments for two weeks and had a great holiday. The only bad thing was the location of our room as it was directly opposite the bar and very loud music, sometimes until two in the morning.
Did complain and to be fair was offered to be moved but put up with it as the pool was on the doorstep.
The location to the beach was brill and only a short stroll to the town with its bars and restaurants!
The staff were good, especially Jay Jay and Emran in the sports bar who were ace. The food was very good and had a few meals there.
Would go back again but would ask for a room away from the main bar and pool!

| said: We stayed in Hotel Jasmin beach for 2 weeks and thourghly enjoyed ourselves only because we didnt spend much time in the hotel.
There was nothing to shout about it was just average, because it was a busy hotel we was just treated like a number.
Even if you got up early (8:00) there was no sun loungers left, but luckly we had family in a better hotel.

The cleaner here was lovely she was very quiet in the morning if we was sleeping you know how it is with all the clubbing at night a girl needs her rest, she would always come back later and do a perfect job!!
Although we were self catering we did eat in the hotel restaurant a few evenings which was realy nice had a nice variety on the menu and was really tasty!!
The hotel staff at Jasmin were all lovely especialy the sports bar staff which I still talk to back here in England also a very sexy barman at the pool bar!!!

I think it was much better where we were put, much more in the centre of everything which worked out better for the young adults that were with us for the bars etc.
The apartments were very clean maids cleaned everyday clean sheets every otherday.staff very friendly especially esat.

| said: We stayed in 2 apartments. They were spacious, clean and decorated in nice fresh colours. We looked over the pool. The flowers were beautiful. We loved the location, right next to the beach.
The Sports Bar staff were just brilliant, totally made our holiday. There were 8 ladies ranging from 20 to 51 and we had a fantastic time. The beach staff were great. The resort was fun and bargains to be had in all the numerous shops.
I cant wait to go back and all of us feel the same. Think my daughter fell in love with the Italian behind the bar!!!
My friends who had never been to Turkey will all go back next year, the people are so friendly too.

| said: Overall we were very impressed with the Jasmine Beach Apartments. We had booked a studio apartment for 2 adults and 1 child. We were placed in the Narcissus block which was a few minutes walk to the main pool and bar but we heard no noise whatsoever which was fine. Good thing was we were directly under the top pool which was lovely and quiet.
The only gripe we had was that we did not have a window to give us natural light so we never really knew when it was day or night. There was a small window at the back of the room but this looked directly on to a high wall. We didnt have a balcony either but some studios in that block did have.
Overall the rooms were excellent, very clean and spacious and a lovely bathroom with a nice sized bath in it.
All the staff we met were very friendly and the maids were very efficient and made lovely patterns on our beds with the towels and flowers from the gardens. It made our day when we returned to see they had made so much effort.
The three pools they had were good as well but if you go down to the main pool you will really struggle to get a bed unless you go down before 9am and lay your towels down. Bar staff are lovely.
We thought the hairdressers and turkish bath at the hotel were too expensive and would definately not go back especially when i found out you could get the same thing at half the price just 5 minutes away.
Overall we had an excellent holiday and would have no hesitation to stay at these apartments again.
