Arrived during the middle of the night. Rooms are basic but cleaned daily and are located in very nice gardens. I would recommend asking for a room away from the main bar if you want a quiet holiday. Staff are fine - they simply want you to spend as much money as possible at the hotel (but aren't too pushy).

3 Swimming pools cater for everyone and it's a 5 min walk to beach or 10 mins max into the main town of Gumbet. I would say the location is excellent given the resort.

A couple of minor points : The TV's in the bars kept breaking down during the world cup and the on-site supermarket is quite expensive.

We arrived late at night and were checked in very quickly. I had requested a quiet room and my request had been met. I am glad I did as the music in the main bar goes on till early hours of the morning, so if you have a family, request a quiet room. Our apartment was very big with plenty of storage space. No complaints at all. The kitchen is limited but you can prepare basic meals. We did eat breakfast at the hotel on several occasions and it was lovely. Little bit more pricey than town but convenient. The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes out of town but the walk takes you along the beach so it goes quick. Take a right when you see Windy Bay up a side lane and this will take you into the bottom end of bar street. Hotel staff work very hard for very little money. We never had an evening meal at the hotel as it seemed pricey and you can get much better deals in the town with free bottles of wine and free drinks for the kids. There are 3 swimming pools. The main pool is very busy and very loud. The middle pool if very small and quiet and the top pool is big and quiet. All pools have a bar and restaurant. The gardens that the apartments are set in are stunning. The turkish bath at the hotel is quite pricey and you can get a better deal in town. I would definately go back to this hotel.

The apartments were clean and in an excellent location, the beach is straight over the road. 3 swimming pools, the main pool was a bit lively but quieter one located at the top of the appartments.

Staff were really friendly and never seemed to stop working, plenty of entertainment on every day.

Would definitely go back

I found the Jasmin Beach hotel to be an absolutely fantastic place to stay. Food was fine and the rooms were very clean. the best part of our stay was the nights we had in Moods Cafe, the guys were so friendly and did everything to please us. A big Hi to Alper, Alpay and Rafy who made our time there fantastic (plus being very easy on the eye!) Will miss them loads. all the rest of the hotel staff were fantastic, couldnt have asked for a nicer place to stay. xxx

We arrived 15/07/09 our room was basic and cooking facilities and equipment was poor but we werent planning on cooking, the fridge didn't work, this took two days to fix. The bathroom was a let down fixings on the wall were loose and the overall room was old and grubby. I was using the shower and the drain backed up causing the floor in the bathroom to become flooded and slippery, my daughter had gotten ready for the evening and was standing in front of the mirror in the bathroom putting on her make up when the apartment upstairs flushed their loo and the lot came through our ceiling and covered my distressed daughter, the people above had complained earler that day about their loo. Thompson arranged a change of room but things still went wrong, We moved nearer to the bar area which was noisy 24/7, it was a ground apartment but we had maids passing with noisy trolleys day and night,we paid for the air con( hidden charge 30 p/w)and there was also a problem with ants in the room. During the night the A/C decided to break down the temperature at night was arount 36c and at 1 o'clock in the morning were repacking to change rooms again. Thompson inform you and advertise that they have a helpline 24/7 but we tried this on two occasions and no one answered. Eventually I found a rep who helped us change room. We were moved to a much nicer room where we had no more problems.
Drinks at the bar were expensive and the food was poor, on site there is a mini market that is very expensive compared with other local shops.
While we were at the resort we noticed that our toiletries and make up were going rather quickly other visitors around the pool were saying the same, one family said they saw the cleaner going through their suitcase and helping herself. Men in Turkey are very touchy feely, but not every one one can be judged in the same way as we met many decent local people.
I will not be recommending this resort but Turkey it's self is great, Gumbet is a good location with clean beeches and great places to eat, we found Mistrels restaurant the best place to eat, its clean good menu well price, kid friendly and you get a free bottle of wine, the staff are also very nice and helpful.

We have just arrived back from this resort and I must say what a relief. If you like to hear bad swear words in every sentence your'll be alright here.

Also must say if you are of ethnic appearence do not come here as many people made us feel unwelcome (that is the other tourists not the Turkish who were very friendly and welcoming)My five year old son was called names of a racial nature by another guest at the hotel.

I saw children not older than 14 or 15 walking around the bar area with beer bottles in their hands, drunk and with their parents in tow!!

All in all this place is great if you want behave like a yob. Hope this helps.

Our group of 7 have just arrived back from this complex, the family we travelled with have stayed here before two years ago.

The rooms we had F Block were very spacious and clean, maids did there best but spoke very little English, the rooms were far enough away from the pool bar and moods bar so as not to be disturbed at night as they serve until the last man dropped!!

We arrived at around 5.30 in the morning and pool bar was still buzzing, we got checked in really quickly and went straight to our rooms, the shop on site is 24 hours so we were able to get water and pop for kids even at this time in the morning.

Alper the head waiter in moods bar was very helpful and looked out for the kids to have a laugh with them, he did his best every night to get you to eat there, we did two nights the 1st we had Mexican food which was wonderful and very plentiful on the 2nd time we had steaks which out of the two weeks holiday wasn't the best, we had a nice meal at Tempo, I had the Indian set meal which was lovely. Colombia was good as was most of the restaurants we ate in, (we tried to go to different ones each night), Mistral, Windy Bay, My Flower, So-Ho to name a few which were all nice and catered for kids aswell, some had free pool tables, free internet and table tennis, the only thing we found was once the chap on the door had got you into the restaurant and promised you all the free things to go with your meal once the bill came it was different and you got charged for somethings, lack of communication between waiters or just thinking you would forget, but once we told them the bills were put right, so make sure you check your bills!!

Beach was just over the road form the apartments which we spent all our holiday on as around the pool was just too hot, you had the breeze from the sea which was lovely, a tip though, the sunbeds are free, but the matresses to lie on, you have to pay 4 lira each a day for which doesn't sound much but over 2 weeks adds up, we just took our lilos down with us and moved the matresses off the beds.

All in all the kids had a good holiday and we knew they were safe on the complex, the adults had a good holiday, rooms were fine and clean, and there was plenty of places to eat, what more can you ask for.

arrived at 7pm turkish time, was checked in very quickly by reception staff. set in lovely gardens. the complex its self was very clean, unfortunately we had a maid who would just sweep the floor and make the beds, and just change towels and linen according to the book, so overall maid not so good, but saying that other people had a good cleaner we were unforunate.

didnt try the food cos of bad reports before we went, but talked to people who did, and they were very ill with d and v.

i did e-mail the complex before we arrived to request a quiet room away from the noise of the pool and main bar area, so glad we did, the noise is horrendous,if you are between 18 and 30 no problem, the main bar is open until 3,4,5 in the morning pity the people who are near this.

the location of the complex is excellent, just get on the dolmus and u can go anywhere u like, we visited camel beach, icemeler in bodrum, went on a boat trip, had a turkish bath which was divine.

there is a problem with stray dogs, they are everywhere, dont feed them and u are ok, keep away from the rose sellers they are a pain.

best places to eat are windy bay, colombia and mistrals, u get a good steak meal, and a free bottle of wine which is very nice not like vinegar.

unfortunately turkey is not as cheap as it use to be, the turks are now jumping on the band wagon and charging what ever they like, which is a shame, turkey is a beautiful place, but it is very dear now.

we found a few quiet bars away from bar street, where a efes was 3 lira good value its called the millennium bar, try it u will feel most welcome from jay jay and the gang. bar street itself is very noisey.

if you are self catering like we was, go to bodrum fruit and veg market, its amazing what u can pick up its very cheap.

staff ok on the whole, but if u want a drink and your not young blonde female be prepared to wait for a drink in the bars, this wasnt a problem to me and my family, we just sat back and waited and laughed at the bar staff in the complex, it was funny., young girls get served first.

must mention the mattresses they are very hard, i asked for a softer mattress and got one within an hour, so its worth mentioning, it was like sleeping on a slab, but as i say was changed.

we didnt try the kids club, cos there was so much going on outside the complex, so i will not commnet.

did not stay in the complex for entertainment because there was so much going on outside, but saying that i beleive the the prices in the bars in the complex was very dear, and stay away from the supermarket in the complex the prices are very dear.

there was not much entertainment in the bars as such but we were happy with wot was on offer.

this sounds like a really negavtive review, butit is not, we had a great time in gumbet, and the turkish pple are lovely, but i am typing this, the way that is was, warts and all

We arrived at the Jasmin hotel at around 7.30 in the morning. We had a fast check in and before we knew it we were in our room number G305 with a view of 1 of the 3 pools.

The staff were very friendly and would do anything for you, our daughter is very shy and they made a special effort to make her welcome athough she struggled to understand the language.

For eating out we would recommend the windy bay, mistral, tempo, the parrot. The hotel itself is about 5 mins from the shingle beach which was poor, but the pools in the hotel made up for the beach but were very cold despite the weather being 35 to 40 degrees.

Entertainment in the hotel was good you should definately go to the barbeque night which is worth 10 pounds. Look out for the waiters Volkan and Apo our daughter loved them.

Transport into Bodrum - buses run very regular from outside the hotel they are orange and very cheap.

Never been to Turkey before. Overall we really enjoyed fun for families and singles alike.

The Jasmin is like home to us, we were there 1st two weeks in June and 1st two weeks in July. It is definately the best place I have ever been, check in is instant, thanks to Zeki and Soner, love you guys mwahhh. Rooms are more than adequate and very clean, plenty of fresh linen and towels. Bar staff are exceptional, Mehmet, Boni, Emre and the rest are just brilliant, also the Restaurant staff, Volkan and Apo, we love you, seni seviyorum. The Moods Cafe is a quieter place to drink and eat if you want to relax a little more, all in all, Fantastic xxx

I went here with my Nan, Mum and sister and can confidently say that we were all impressed. The apartment itself was spacious and clean. The staff were all very friendly and liked to have a laugh, the receptionists in particular were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The food in the main bar was great although I did find the pasta was a little over cooked. Location wise you are just accross the road from the beach and a 10 minute walk to Gumbet bar street and shops. Busses stopped every few minutes outside the hotel for going into Bodrum but taxi's don't cost much more if you split the cost. Over all this hotel was fantastic and I have already looked at how much it will cost for me to return next year!

We stayed september/October 07 and we loved this apartment so much.

The cleanliness was First Class. The cleaners were fabulous and you always felt very comfortable and welcome as the staff were very friendly.

I didnt eat in the restaurant but my family did once or twice and they loved it.

The entertainment was great for all ages from karaoke to snake charmers, BBQ'S and dancers. There were three pools all very clean and not too crowded and also a computer room with iternet which charge but at very low cost.

On the premises you have turkish mud baths and hairdressers ect and gumbet town and Bodrum was near by but would need to take a bus or taxi.

The saturday market is worth going to as its even cheaper than the shops even though the shops are extremely cheap. In gumbet or Bodrum its better to book day trips such as boat trips, market and swimming with dolphins than booking with the reps.

I would definately recommend the boat trip as you get to go to several places such as caves, camel beaches and swimming in the sea.

I recommend this holiday to people of all ages!!!! its the best!!! P.S try out the turkish mud bath; Its devine!!!!!

I went away with my boyfriend and two friends to turkey i have never been before but will definatly be back again. The studios we stayed in werw lovely and spacious and very clean, our maid would clen up all our mess and even fold our clothes. We only ate in the hotel once and i would suggest not to have a sunday lunch. the hotel location was brilliant right on the beach five mins from the centre only two pound in the taxi. The hotel staff were excellent especially ems the barman so friendly, and the receptionist brought our keys out to us every night even changed his shift to say goodbye to us. We didn't stay in the hotel at night, but i think the entertainment was really good of what i saw. i can honestly say i will be back again sometime in the near future.

Myself and three friends stayed in jasmin beach we opted self catering.

The food from the hotel is not recomended very poor be careful where you eat out if you find a particular place you like stick to it to be safe because I was ill after the second night for the rest of the week.

The cleanliness of the place was good the maid was lovely she left liffle notes and scattered flowers over the beds.

The location I thought was perfect 2 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes away from the night life. (which was amazing)

The hotel staff were quite cheeky they dont give you your change they put it in there tip box and they can be quite rude. Not all of them some of them.

We also found because we didnt take part in any of the hotels entertainment the organiser became funny with us.

The jasmin beach apartments are a good family base, its not to near the noisy night life, a short walk will take you to that.

The apartment was clean and basic towels were big and fluffy bed linen also clean, the hairdryer in the bathroom was not much good over heats and cuts out very quickly.

There are three pools in all the main one being were the restaurant and bar is and can get quite noisy, there is a smaller pool by the top bar with lovely views.

Staff are all very friendly.

All in all a good place would go back, just beware when you ask for the bill make sure you check it, we had to point out a few times about over charging.

We arrived at the Jasmin at 2.30 in the afternoon to be greeted by a lovely receptionist who spoke very good english.

We had a very quick check in which is very helpful after travelling. We were took to our room 901 right behind the main pool bar.It seemed quiet noisy by people passing to use the pool and not much privacy. We asked for a room move but were asked to give it a try, which we agreed. In the morning though I was straight to reception to ask to be moved as the noise from the bar went on to the early hours not good if you want to rest and have two children. They had no problem moving us into a quiter room which was lovely close by the turkish bath .

This is a must on your first couple of days really relaxing. The barbers is also great for a shave and braiding hair would not really recommend a blow dry though.

We stayed at the main bar.Which was clean and the staff were lovely and really love children. They all tried there best to understand you and did a great job.

The childrens club was great although my daughter only went the last week she loved it but as we was with my travel had to pay to use first choice one but still the holiday was alot more expensive with first choice so it still cost us less.

We ate snacks at the main bar of a day which were lovely and also they done a full english breakfast for a pound so take pound coins with you as it works out a bit more if you pay in lira still a great breakfast though. We ate one time at the restaurant of a night and there steak isnt a patch on minstral which is just on the beach front.Other nice food places are windy bay and columbia.

To be honest I wouldnt reconmend eating there of a night. We had a great night at the Turkish night at the hotel food was lovely and entertainment great. But that was the only entertainment on during the week apart from being entertained by the bar boys.

The shop is very expensive so get on a dolmus to migros a big cheaper super market. Also watch the price of the photo mans clocks etc they are cheaper on bar street.

The Jasmin was a great place to stay and I will be returning next year.

Jasmin hotel is set in lovely gardens and a good location. Nice steady walk into Gumbet centre. Did not use pool, used admiral's next door as we had it to ourselves.

Had one breakfast in Jasmin not impressed. Had most meals in calypso bar next door. Run by Paul and Kath we were made very welcome and food was superb. Crazy Joe and Arron are brilliant and made our holiday.

Main pool noisy so spent most time on beach. Good beach but have to pay for sun beds. Avoid Sandy’s boat trip (Jasmin water sports)if you want to relax.

It was like an 18-30 booze cruise. Jasmin noisy into early hours. This was our best holiday for years and cant wait to return.

Came back from Jasmin Saturday 21st and very happy to leave these apartments.

Arrived on 14th and were placed in studio right on the edge of the swimming pool and bar with stained sheets. Upgraded to apartment for a cost of £50.00 which on first glance, although cold and bare looked better than the previous. On closer inspection found pillows and pillow cases dirty. Had two very small thin bath towels left, no hand towels, no bath mat, one of the towels looked as if someone had cleaned the floor with it. No toilet paper, dirty sink still had toothpast round it from previous occupier, plastic table and chairs all stained, no balcony furniture, shower head broken so you could not take shower unless you stood holding it up with one hand which you couldn't do anyway as there was no hot water! Just two sheets on the bed. Complained immediately and was brought clean sheets, pillows, pillow cases and the apartment was cleaned the next day although we went out and bought own cleaning materials and cleaned ourselves as well. Shower head was repaired and hot water sorted out. We were offered another room but were reluctant to move again as maybe next room just as bad so settled for having all the faults put right, which in all fairness they did very quickly.

There were some good points as in friendly staff and fairly good location but overall very cold uncomfortable apartment. We arrived Saturday and left Tuesday to stay with friends in another part of Turkey as we did not feel we could stay a week in the apartment, which always felt cold and grimy due to first day experience there. We returned Friday night just in time to pack and catch coach to airport on Saturday.

Admittedly it was the end of the season but we ended up paying virtually £200 each for the week which I do not consider cheap for October self catering. Would not stay here again if they offered if for free!

On the first night at the Jasmin I was woken at 6am to the sound of voices which sounded like people were in my bathroom. When investigated I noticed a door joining to the apartment next door which was locked but you could hear the occupents every word. This was every morning and every night. We were also awaken numerous times by people passing out room on the way to bed screaming and shouting and music from the bar area was blasting out until the early hours.

The cleanliness I found to be fair and had our bedding cleaned every 3rd day. On our last day our cleaner did a flower arrangement with pink petals on our bed in the shape of a heart and a note wishing us a safe journey home. This I thought was very sweet.

The staff at these apartments were very friendly especially Rafi the magic trick man. He cost my boyfriend his t-shirt just to show him the secret to one trick.

Overall these apartments were pleasent but I have stayed in better.

Word of advice to anyone wishing to visit any part of Turkey do not go to the doctors there. If you suffer with prickly heat etc or you get a severe mosquito bite visit the chemist as the doctors situated in your hotels will have you at a clinic in no time riged up to a drip and will be taking you up to your excess on your indurance.

We had the most fantastic holiday. The Jasmin was better than expected. Our rooms were the furthest away, but had the most amazing views of the sea and the whole of Gumbet. Rooms very good size, adequate air-con- basic equipment for self-catering.

There are 3 pools. No problem with getting sunbeds - no Germans stay here! Pool area was very pretty- main pool gets very busy though. Staff were great, very helpful. No daytime entertainment. Youngest kids went to the kids club, which they really enjoyed and every week they take kids for 4 hours in the evening which was great for us!

We ate out most nights, would highly recommend china town and far east, brilliant service and fab food. Prices good- compared to Portugal, Cyprus etc as haven't been hit with the euro yet. Drinks expensive in the hotel and the hotel shop - best to stock up at local supermarket.

Don't bother going to Bodrum indoor market- you are packed in like sardines, sweating like a pig, and the shops in Gumbet do exactly the same stuff at cheaper prices!!

This is a perfect holiday for families- we were worried it would be a 'here we go' larger lout place, but as it was school hols and prices rise considerably, this was not thank god the case!

We would highly recommend the Jasmin and will def def def return.

Was a bit worried when first booked this as never been to Turkey before but did not need to be worried.

Absolutely brilliant holiday, already booking for next year. Hotel grounds really pretty, rooms big although could do with air con in living room aswell as bedroom. Kept really clean.

Staff are fabulous really friendly and always laughing and joking (even after a 14 hour shift!)

Really good location, short walk along beach to the town or catch the dolmus into Bodrum which comes along every ten minutes 24 hours a day - best bus service we have ever experienced.

Look out for happy hours as you can get a pint for 75p, obviously dearer in the hotel. The Parrot Restaurant and The Red Dragon are a definite must to visit.

Also you must try the ice creams for sale along the beach - they are to die for.

Three teenage lads, we arrived at the Jasmin at 11pm and was shown to our room,

We went down long dark path ways and up lots of stairs. When we arrived at the room it was like a store room, it had NO windows NO balcony it had a bathroom and 3 small beds and a fridge. The room was very dull, and because it had NO windows the air con was free. Don’t think the cleaners did anything when they came in.

The pool area at the bottom pool was dirty and smelly. Overall we had a brilliant holiday we never let the size of the room spoil our holiday. So if you do go and stay at the Jasmin and they put you in ROOM N74 don’t take it.

The first thing we did after checking in was pay for air conditioning, I don't think I could have made it through the night without it.

I was pleased to find the room very clean and tidy as was the bathroom.
I have travelled to many different resorts and would say the maid service was one of the best i've come across (also one day we come back to find our beds decorated with petals and a bunch of flowers from the maid!).

There are three pools, the main pool had lots of children at it so we tried to stick to the other two....if we could get a space.

The Turkish night was a lot of fun, and worth the money, a good variety of food on the buffet and good quality.

The staff were very friendly considering how hard they work. I don't know when they get the chance to sleep!

I enjoyed this holiday so much that I am going back again this year, to the same hotel, but this time with friends.

Jasmin Beach Studios & Apartments

Spotlessly clean, towels and sheets changed 3 times during our 7 night stay, food and drink slightly more expensive than in resort but you pay for convenience when sunbathing, location ideal, away from any noise but only a short walk into the resort.

Staff all very friendly and help full, entertainement was put on every night but we did not go to any of these as we went into the resort each evening, so we cannot comment on the quality of the entertainment.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning to these appartments which were allocated on arrival. We were put in room 3 just beside the reception area and pool bar. The room was terrible, the bed was about two inches off the floor with horrible scratchy blankets.

It was basically like sleeping in a kitchen as there was a wall with cabinets sink etc on one side about three foot from the side of the bed.

We were on the ground floor which was like being in a basement the footpath ran above our window. We woke at 11am to the sound of the cleaners clattering about and it was so dark in our room we thought it was still the middle of the night.

The shower room was although obviously cleaned recently severly in need of repair, shower door hanging off, mouldy corners etc.

I was willing to put up with the room although it was depressing because we didnt pay very much for the holiday. My partner though could see it was upsetting me and went to complain at reception. We were moved within the hour to a room that was 2000% better, couldnt believe that it was the same complex.

Up near the top bar the balcony was addorned with flowers, the kitchen was seperate from the sleeping area and the bathroom was a world away from room 3. Also being away from the thumping pool bar music was such a relief.

All I can say is the Jasmine management are doing the rest of their accomodation a disservice by using these extremely poor rooms when they have such excellent ones on offer.

If you go and are unhappy please please complain as this will be the only way to enjoy your holiday. We spoke to other people who had moved from dark noisy rooms to better ones also.

After about 2 days we noticed that three young holiday makers had been put into room 3 and they seemed to stay there, it really is a shame as the room is like a cellar.

Once we had moved we had a great holiday the pools were fine no pool nazis like our Ibiza holiday the previous week with our children. Lilos, balls,... fun all allowed.

Would definatley return to the Jasmine and Gumbet as a whole, very friendly excellent value for money. We are bringing the children to Turkey next year for the first time going to try Marmaris this time.

The Brochure does not do this hotel justice nor does the video. When we arrives the hotel look just out of the way but actually its in an amazing spot.

You can jump in a taxi just outside for about a pound and go into Gumbet centre or for a couple of quid go to Bodrum which I think is amazing.

You can also walk along the beach to the centre but I'm too lazy for this. The hotel is beautiful and the staff cannot do enough to help you.

There is always entertainment if you like staying close by but if not the nightlife in both resorts is plenty fulfilling.

food ok.

Fatma the cleaner brilliant left clean towels as our bath leaked.

Reception staff do not speak much English
ewan /the hairdreeser is brill at blow drying and the turkish bath is a must. Cheaper in town but location good
Turkish Night....good ok but food cold and nevers seconds as food cleared away as soon as possible. Great hotel but very disappointed on final day.

My 8 year old daughter was in bed for the last 3 days of the holiday with an ear infection (had to get tablets for the pain) and we were unable to book the room for the rest of the day. Check out was at 12 noon and we were getting picked up by coach at 11.30pm.

Explained to reception and they were unable to help

We found the jasmine to be spotlessly clean, the room was cleaned each day by Pinar who did a great job.

Only ate once in hotel not too impressed.

The location was great only a short walk to the centre where most of the restaurants are and right on the beach, which although not brilliant was cooler and quieter than hotel pools.

The staff were helpful and friendly and airtours rep Hazel was also helpful,we booked ths happy bubbles scuba dive through her, the best thing we did , great day out.

Wasnt impressed by entertainment but we went out each night so didnt matter.

We have booked up again for next august and cant wait, it was our first time to Turkey, but it will not be our last.

We arrived at this hotel in the middle of the night but were taken to our rooms which were on the bottom level.

Found the rooms to be very clean and everything in them that we needed, the beds were changed about twice in one week and flowers left on all the beds which was very nice.

We never ate at the hotel we always went next door( great value for money)i thought that the hotel was in a good spot and close to everything beach, taxis, bus stop, shops, and boat trips.

I found the hotel staff to be very helpful and friendly.

We used the hotel pool may be twice as the beach is too close not to use. We went on Sandys boat trip and had a fab day out and was good value.

We are going to go again this year and cant wait. All in all good value.

I took my two children here in June o6 for two weeks, (age 6 & 9 years)

On advice from a friend I had asked for a new room as these were larger. Very clean, great view and always hot water. Maids came in everyday to clean and change towels etc.

The pools were great, had no problems with finding loungers etc.

Staff were nice and friendly, entertainment quite good.

Food was nice, although we did mainly eat outside of the hotel, cheap wherever you choose.

The beach was terrible, hardly any sand, and VERY DEEP, not good for kids.

We walked into the shopping area,(be prepared to haggle)
I had no problems walking around as a women on my own with children, even in the evenings it felt very safe.
I would go back, great for a cheap relaxing holiday.

We travelled, Me, Hubby and 4 year old son, and our 2 friends joined us also.

We booked Turkey late last year, having never been I was a little apprehensive, how wrong could I be.

We arrived at the Jasmin Beach about 2am Turkish Time, check in was really quick and they allocated us room 901 (this was right next to the pool bar), our friends were in 52 just round next to the Turkish Bath. We were escorted with our cases to our room, please make sure you have some change in Turkish/English as we ended up tipping the "bell boy", and it cost us about 6 English quid for literally 1 minute walk.

The bar was still open and with the little one being asleep we decided to go for a quick drink. We took our trolley and went to the bar we were made so welcome, Memmett was there and he was really lovely, he loves chatting about all sorts of stuff, we headed off to be to get some rest.

The following day we explored the hotel, we could not believe how big it was there are 2 other pools beside the main one. As this was first week of the season it was pretty quiet, but it was great.

The rooms were really clean, although the towels were only changed 3 times while we were there. The light outside our room was broke as soon as we reported it it was fixed immediately. I requested clean towels and they were given, so all in all they were very good.

The pool is spotless, although it was freezing.

The weather was fantastic, but really cold at night, so if you go at this time of year take a cardy/jacket with you.

We went with My Travel, I would probably not travel with them again. The flight was ok going and the food was satisfactory, coming back the food was awful, they don't carry pillows or blankets, which I find a godsend for the little ones. The rep at the hotel was nice and knew loads of stuff about Gumbet etc, there was no kids club provided by My Travel. My son lives going to Kids club, so we ended up paying £30 for him to go to the First Choice one for 8 sessions, he loved it because there were no other kids there apart from him so he had undivided attention from Zoey and Becky, they were really good.

Sedat (playboy) he was so funny he really gets the party going in the bar at night. George fell in love with him, he was brilliant with him, had him behind the bar dancing, on the bar, playing with him on the little toys around the pool, he was wonderful. Also Jedat (I think this maybe Sharky but not 100% sure) from the restaurant, if you go you must ask him to tell you his story, it's rather amusing, he speaks very good English.

Jaffa, is new this year and he is running the sports bar he is very hypo and has a little American twang, (he spent time on cruise ships I think) he gets hypo cos he eats the sugar cubes LOL

Judat (curly hair, not very good English but he tries bless him), he is trying to learn good English at the moment, he is very funny and attentive, and really tries to understand what you are saying, he eats raw lemons a lot, and does some very funny things.

Memmett runs the pool bar and he is lovely he speaks very good English.

Turkish Bath at the hotel, we had to have it done here cos the trip would have been too much for George. We opted for the Bath, Full body Mud Mask and oil massage, we bartered with the guy who runs it, and got it for £100 for 4 of us, me and Laura went first. It was great the guys tickle you (but not rudely) they were great fun we felt really relaxed after it and got lovely sun tans, it's recommended to have it on your first/second day to get rid of all your dead skin.

Gumbet Nightlife

As it was start of season it was pretty quiet, we headed into town most evenings, and stayed at the Frog bar on the front, as George was welcome here, and when he fell asleep they covered him in his trolley with a blanket to keep him warm, the guy who works there is called Martinin he is really funny.

Best places to eat around the Jasmin

Windy Bay - we really enjoyed it here its very cold (hence the name) and windy though so take a jacket, it was reasonable, we paid about £40 for 5 of us to eat, we got 2 free bottles of wine and free garlic bread, the staff are lovely,

In Gumbet itself, if you head up the beach path and turn by the side of the Corner pub as you come to the top of the road there is a place called Steak and Fish house, the food here was out of this world, really tasty, you must try the mixed grill. I have never had meat balls as tasty as this in my life, no junk just pure meat and it costs us £50 for 5 including drinks,

Mundurno Chicken, on the high street, typical Kebabs and sandwiches but also steaks and pasta, really cheap but really nice food, we had some lovely chicken sandwiches there and the shepherds salad is to die for really fresh.

All in all we had a truly wonderful experience of Turkey and would definitely return without hesitation to the Jasmin for a holiday, i could have quite easily stayed for another week and was gutted to be coming home.

Advice

The drinks and food at the hotel are expensive about 3 lira dearer than most places, and although it does not sound a lot to some it is. Having said this, its worth paying the extra to know that you are in for a good night with the lads behind the bar, we went out for dinner most nights but returned around 10pm for the evening. The bar stays open till whenever, I guess, we managed to stay up until 3am one morning and people were still drinking there.

If you have little ones it would be worth your while asking for a room away from the Pool Bar, as it does get really noisy, we were fine as George would sleep through an Earthquake, but if you think its likely to upset you please email the hotel.

Ants

They invaded our room a couple of times, if you don't like them keep your bed away from the wall,

The floor in the bathroom get quite slippy, take an extra towel to use as a mat, as the one supplied would not catch a raindrop, never mind the water from the shower.

The supermarket on site is also quite expensive compared to the one down the road, go there if you can. Do not go on the boat trip offered by Sandy on the front (Jasmin water sports) a few people from our hotel did and came back injured, its really cheap but not worth it, also she will tell you that there are safety nets all around the boats to protect the little ones, this was not true, there are only a few nets.

The dolmus is an experience in itself and you must take one, if you go to Turgertreis Market it will only cost you 1lira 50, really cheap but it does take about 1 hour to get there, a taxi is 40 lira straight there, which is what we did and got the dolmus back.

We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone,

If anyone is going soon tell Sedat (playboy) George said hello and his photo's are on their way to him.

The cleaners are brill they are always cleaning something and resort is spotless, had no probs with toilet roll etc.

The food - all we had was there breakfasts which were lovely.

Right across the road is the beach and to walk into town go along the beach and walk up road near Mistrael(looks like dirt track)not along road as this is all uphill.

The staff - what can I say I wanted to bring them home with me SUPERB especially Sport bar at the bottom my little girl is very shy and doesnt to talk to adults but after 1 day she was behind the bar pulling her own drinks and playing in the park.

Dont listen to anyone against this hotel go and try it for yourself and you'll want to keep going back.

This is the 4th time we have stayed in the Jasmin in 2 years. We are also going back again in Sept.

This year we had the best room yet. There was only 2 of us but they gave us a four bed apartment. The maid comes in every other day to tidy your room, and on the last day she always leaves flowers in your room which is a nice touch.

The hotel is situated close to the beach which is more shale than sand but as we left they were putting more sand down, so hopefully they might extend it up to Jasmin's end. Doesn't stop you sunbathing, but you have to pay for the cushions on the sunbeds. Its 5 lire for all day but you get a free drink of your choice.

The walk down the beach at nightime can be quite dark. Taxi's are cheap enough if you are worried.

The hotel staff are brilliant, they even recognised us from last year which was nice. They always make us feel very welcome.

We arrived at the Jasmine around 18.30hrs and as we requested a room away from the pools (there are 3) we were taken by a kind porter to be shown our accommodation for our 2 wk stay which was up lots of stairs (which when wet were like sheets of ice) to the back of the complex.

Accommodation basic but ok, very dull in the rooms due to low energy bulbs everywhere also you never get enough loo roll. Our cleaner was excellent in that he was in every day to empty bins.

Food/drink ok but expensive.

Location is good if you like a nice stroll before you eat in the evening as it a 5 min walk to the local strip.

The bar staff at the upper bar were very good not that keen on the ones at the main pool bar.

Not much on the entertainment front during our stay due to lack of numbers taking up the offers of Turkish nights etc.

We arrived back from our holiday yesterday and were gutted to leave!

The apartments were very clean and very nicely decorated and had a small balcony overlooking the gardens and pool.

All of the staff at the apartments were friendly and helpful and the maids were excellent.

We didn't eat at the restaurant so can't really comment on the food however the meals I saw others eating looked very nice.

The hotel was in an excellent location, straight across from the beach and a short walk away from bar street.

Although many people have commented on the prices in the hotel we didn't find the bar to be any more expensive than anywhere else.

We would definitely recommend this hotel and will probably be going back next year.

Arrived 3.30am only to discover that there were no sheets, blankets or pillow for my little boy. Went back to reception and was told nothing can be done about it. NOT a good start!

The maid did not change sheets for the first 9 days, complained at reception and then they were changed twice in 2 days. Numerous days the maid didn't leave toilet roll, went to reception and was told to buy some from the shop next door!!

Didn't stay in the hotel for any entertainment as the food and drink prices were virtually twice the price of everywhere else. This has put us off going back to Turkey again.

The Jasmin Beach is pretty and well kept and I have to mention the excellent cleaners and the effort they put into making the rooms look pretty.

I did experience the same issues as many other guests though, with difficulty getting a sunbed and severe lack of loo roll.

We drank at the bar often but it was very overpriced and the quality of the food in the restaurant was very poor considering that it was not reasonably priced.

In the on-site shop a daily paper cost nearly £4! Many people here have recommended the Windy Bay for meals, but personally I wouldn't eat there again if it was free, their spag bol made me severley ill.

Just had 2 weeks at the Jasmin self catering,we requested a quite room before we went and got just that, over looking the gardens which were lovely.

The room was very basic but had everything we needed
the hotel was kept clean by the very hard working cleaners, lovely ladies, they even put fresh flowers on our beds, the hotel was just over the road from the beach, which wasnt the best beach in Turkey, but there were numerous bars and resturants along it and it was a nice walk in the evenings.

However, if you didnt want to stay in Gumbet there was a taxi rank outside the hotel. There's also an on site shop which is open 24 hours, all the staff at the Jasmin are very helpful and friendly and are on call 24 hours a day to, we were self catering but room service was available.

We always managed to get sunbeds around the pools which were kept very clean, we didnt spend time there in the evenings but they had theme nights, but we wanted to go out and explore the surrounding areas.

All in all a nice family holiday.

The Jasmin has a great location and the apartment we stayed in had great views over the bay (but it was 70 steps from the bottom on the apartments, great exercise). We stayed at the the top pool all holiday as there was less children around it, but the music from the bar was loud and they played the same thing all day( 50 cent!!)
The food was not so expensive, it was convient so you expect to pay more.

We had drinks at the sports bar most evenings as there were not so many children there. Its not like we dont like children but it felt like we were on holiday during the summer holidays.

The staff were friendly enough, not sure how we felt about the photographer taking pictures around the pools.

Apart from the great views from the apartment, I cannot really say any thing that positive about the inside, I suppose the saying "you only get what you pay for" is true in this case.

We will not be going here again, but I would recommend it to anyone who likes lively, family friendly apartments.

Just got back from the Jasmin and we were very pleased it was a great place to stay. We were in Acelia block(a21)which had 6 rooms in that block all very clean and modern and had plenty of toilet roll.

We always stayed at the main pool which was good and always got sunbeds due to my daughter getting me up at 8am. Food and drink was expensive but it always is in the hotel.

As for the entertainment we always went out. All the staff where great and my 2 year old daughter was a big hit with them all.

The location was good only 5 minute walk and you were at our favorite restaurant Café de Colombia, good prices and good food, and a free bottle of wine.

Now my only gripe about Turkey is its too expensive a lot more than the UK most of the time, so would I go back to the Jasmin yes if you could move it somewhere cheaper.

One last warning do not buy a beer in Turkey airport 12 ytl ouch !

I work for a travel agents, so when I came to booking my holiday I knew I wanted the perfect place... And I got it...

We arrived early hours and took no time to check in.. staff helped us with our bags.. We dumped our cases in our room which was clean and spacious, and went down to see if the bar was still open... IT WAS.

The next day we had lunch in the restaurant, it was ok but not that great...

We had our nails done in the hotels salon and was quite disappointed by the standard.... although the eye candy in there more than made up for it.. (especially Ali)

Location of hotel absolutely perfect...

Entertainment was ok but we didn't really go to any of the theme nights held there so can't really comment on that.

Hotel staff. what can I say they are all brilliant and really love kids.

Playboy (sedat) was quite an attentive barman.

I have already booked to go back next year.

Recommend it to all.

We have stayed at the Jasmin for the past 3 years now and highly recommend it.

We go self catering but have eaten and the restaurant and the food was to a high standard.

The cleanliness of the hotel is second to none, the staff are always walking round cleaning someone's apartment out.

The location is why we come back, it's near the beach but not too far from the bars but away from the noise as well so when you do stroll home you can get some sleep.

Last year we stayed for the BBQ night but wasn't impressed but round the pool in the day the music was just right.

We can't wait to get back there next year.

We had a studio apartment on 2nd floor next to the 2nd pool bar & restaurant area, which some nights was extremely noisy and we had to complain a couple of times about the level of noise at 4am.

The apartment was very well maintained and cleaned throughly.

The complex is also well maintained. Sunbeds are a mare to get people were putting their towels down at 6am the FC rep took them off once when people complained but that was it. We once took towels off the sunbeds and owners come to the pool at 4pm!

Take you own drinks, the shop and Bar are extremely expensive 5YTL (£2.22) for local Beer, 7YTL (£3.11) - Cider & Imported Beers (i.e Becks Fosters) Water (small) 3YTL - (£1.33) soft drinks 4YTL (1.77). Make a trip to the Migros supermarket on stock up the local beer can be bought for 1YTL per bottle or even to local shops in town a small bottle of water cost 50c (22p).

Entertainment is Ok - But nothing for kids 9 years and over and no daytime pool games or entertainment. We felt that Jasmin was only interested in how much money they could fleece out of us.

Air Conditioning £20.00 per week (In July & Aug it should be free) Safe £10.00 per week.

Food their is ok but eat out better and cheaper.

We stayed at the Jasmin Beach Studios this month and we all had a brilliant time. We stayed on the 2nd floor by the 2nd bar and pool. We seemed to be situated amongst other young British people which was ideal for us as we were all on holiday after a bit of fun.

The resort was amazing, great staff and great service when needed.

We didn't try the resorts food as we ate out every night as the resort is so close to the restaurants and bars.

It's incredibly close to the beach, simply across the road.

All in all, I had an excellent time and we are already planning to go back to the Jasmin beach studios next year.

We stayed on a self catering basis. Hotel grounds were nice and clean although I thought they seemed too much like a jungle (too many plants and flowers which blocked the sun out a lot in the room)

Hotel location was not ideal for us, was a pain to walk for 10 mins to find a little bit of life specially with 2 young children.

Staff seemed friendly ... more on that in discussion forum

Didn't participate in entertainment or anything in hotel due to inflated prices.

We definitely will not return to this accommodation.

We stayed self catering because we were travelling with a young child (breakfast/fridge) but the kitchen only had 2 rings not much to work with. Could eat cereal as milk was awful. Room was cleaned regularly.

The hotel food was really bad/slow, prices were very high.

Yes granted the hotel was close to Gumbet centre but the steepness of the hills made it nearly imposible to try and walk it to any of the places poeple said were good to eat(more on that later).

Staff were friendly(too friendly for my liking) I would never visit Gumbet or this hotel again. I was even speaking to people around the pool and a lot of families said the same thing.

The Hotel itself was a very nice complex in an excellent location.

The pool areas were lovely if you were lucky enough to find a spare sun bed!

Food was mediocre & a bit pricey.

Hotel staff were very friendly and professional, especially the cleaners.

The only real complaint we had was that on arrival we were given a room with no balcony, or even a window! When we booked the holiday First Choice told us that ALL rooms in the hotel had either a balcony or terrace. This obviously wasn't the case! We asked straight away if we could change rooms but were told nothing could be done. After the welcome meeting, our rep (who was extremely helpful) had a word with reception on our behalf & we were eventually moved. The room we were moved to did have a window& balcony, albeit facing directly onto a stone wall!! Still, we appreciated the natural day light!

All in all the hotel was pleasant and I wouldn't rule out staying there again if a room with a window could be guaranteed.

Stayed at the Jasmin Beach Apartments for two weeks and had a great holiday. The only bad thing was the location of our room as it was directly opposite the bar and very loud music, sometimes until two in the morning.

Did complain and to be fair was offered to be moved but put up with it as the pool was on the doorstep.

The location to the beach was brill and only a short stroll to the town with its bars and restaurants!

The staff were good, especially Jay Jay and Emran in the sports bar who were ace. The food was very good and had a few meals there.

Would go back again but would ask for a room away from the main bar and pool!

Found the bar prices amongst the most expensive in Gumbet.
A lot cheaper in the CLUB ADMIRA next door. You could never get a sunbed after 8am.

Some guests put their towels out 3.am and didnt use them until late afternoon. The beach area in front of the hotel was the only one that charged you for using the sunbeds.

There was a lot of thefts from the rooms when we were there.A large beer in the Jasmin was 5 ytl whereas in the resort you could get one for 2ytl !!!!.This is why the bar was never busy.

We really enjoyed our holiday, but on arrival we were given room 118 which is at the back of the complex, we were happy with this as we had read reports about noise at night from pool bar.

The room was like the back hole of Calcutta, very dark when we opened the patio doors there was a brick wall facing, my partner complained and asked to be moved, but was refused. I went to reception and was instantly offered a different room. This was also near the back of complex and was also very noisy at night. The air-con is £20.00 per week, and the safe was £10.00 per week.

The situation with sun beds was ridiculous we had to set the alarm for 7am to get a bed, a couple of times there was a guy with bales of towels putting them on beds for people, probably getting paid. We complained but were ignored. The guy who ran the pool area made a suggestion he would remove towels this never happen though. Some days up to half of the loungers were empty until 2-3 in the after noon, they always seemed to get the same place, which was strange.

The drinks at the pool bar were very expensive, 5tl for a beer and 8tl for a glass of wine, which is £2.20 for the beer and £3.60 for the wine, a bit over the top i thought, the supermarket was expensive as well, £3.20 for a bar of soap.

It felt a bit as if the complex were exploiting us, which is a shame as we just took our custom else were.

Although I enjoyed my holiday and would go back to Gumbet, I wouldn't return to the Jasmin Beach.

We were in a studio which I found very dark and uninviting.

The sunbeds are a total joke. You have to put towels down at 7.00 am to get a sunbed (who wants to do that when you work all year)and despite complaining nothing gets done.

The bar prices are a total rip off. 5 Ytl for a beer (£2.20), 10Ytl for a Smirnoff Vodka (£4.50), 8 Ytl for a local vodka (£3.60), 4 Ytl for a soft drink (£1.80) and I was even charged 4 Ytl for a fizzy water out of a machine. It's more expensive than London. I always had the feeling of being ripped off at the bar.

If you go on a boat trip (which are brilliant) don't go with Sandy at the Jasmin, walk further along the beach and book one of them. Sandy's are like a ferry where they cram as many people on as possible (greedy again) whereas further along there are a maximum of 15 families where everyone gets a sunbed.

The Turkish night at the apartments is really good entertainment and tries to get everyone involved and believe it or not it's really good value (for the meal).

I think the people who own the Jasmin are spoiling it for themselves because people will realise they are being ripped off and won't return.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning with 4 kids 15,13,10, and a very tired 5 year old. Were helped to our rooms straight away. Everything was clean tidy and all that we neded was there.

The facilities were good, beach close great for the kids. pool was good kids spent lots of time there us too!

Restaurant and bar we found expensive especially with 4 kids but we choose to eat out lots anyway.

Town close, good deals on all trips on the beach front especially with Tyson really nice man we went out on his boat trip twice. Highly recommended.

Migros supermarket worth taking a taxi too everything much cheaper even with the taxi fare,

Wouldn`t hesitate to go back to Gumbet or to this hotel.

The hotel dog Princess had puppies whilst we were there great hit with not just our children but all adults and children alike.

Kids clubs were ok our kids prefer to go where we go most of the time. the two youngest did go whilst we took the older two jet skiing and parascending. Excellent first time for all of us.

Grounds of hotel were lovely gardens well kept and tidy.

Overall we were very impressed with the Jasmine Beach Apartments. We had booked a studio apartment for 2 adults and 1 child. We were placed in the Narcissus block which was a few minutes walk to the main pool and bar but we heard no noise whatsoever which was fine. Good thing was we were directly under the top pool which was lovely and quiet.

The only gripe we had was that we did not have a window to give us natural light so we never really knew when it was day or night. There was a small window at the back of the room but this looked directly on to a high wall. We didnt have a balcony either but some studios in that block did have.

Overall the rooms were excellent, very clean and spacious and a lovely bathroom with a nice sized bath in it.

All the staff we met were very friendly and the maids were very efficient and made lovely patterns on our beds with the towels and flowers from the gardens. It made our day when we returned to see they had made so much effort.

The three pools they had were good as well but if you go down to the main pool you will really struggle to get a bed unless you go down before 9am and lay your towels down. Bar staff are lovely.

We thought the hairdressers and turkish bath at the hotel were too expensive and would definately not go back especially when i found out you could get the same thing at half the price just 5 minutes away.

Overall we had an excellent holiday and would have no hesitation to stay at these apartments again.

The Hotel staff and surroundings were just what we needed for a family holday.

The staff were excellent in every way. They were so helpful and played with our children so much we had trouble getting them back. Good genuine people.

The rooms were more spacious than is the norm for Turkey and were well serviced.

Best of all was the gardens. They were splendid and everywhere you went within the hotel someone was always tending to plants sweeping pavements or moving luggage.

My husband and I went to the Jasmine on our honeymoon in May this year.

It was our first time in Turkey so were not quite sure what to expect as we had heard so many different stories. On arrival at the Jasmine we were taken to our room which although basic had everything you need for the amount of time you spend in there.

On our second night my husband woke to find somebody looking into our room from the adjoining door ( ours had been locked, but if the door on the other side is open they can open your door as the lock is on the opposite side, if that makes sense !)After convincing my husband it wasn't a good idea to beat up the neighbour we called the reception and explained what had happened. They offered to move us to another room there and then,as this meant we would have to start packing our things up at 3am we opted to be moved first thing the next day.Sure enough, true to their word the porter turned up next morning and we were moved to a room right next to the upper pool/bar,perfect !.We had a fantastic holiday after that.

We spent every day at the top pool.JD,Jimmy and Eiysha were very friendly and made us very welcome.(we still keep in touch with J.D via text )The rooms were kept very clean as was the rest of the complex.Drinks and food at the bar were reasonably priced but we found the supermarket very expensive and only discovered on the second week that a short, very cheap bus ride takes you to Gumbet where the Asda equivalent is dirt cheap.

Take a walk along the beach and you will find that there is a huge choice of restaraunts, and yeah, at first you may feel a little annoyed by the constant " come and eat in my restaraunt " you will find a simple no thank you will do the trick.

We loved Turkey, and we loved The Jasmine Beach. We will be booking up for next year in the next couple of days and wont look anywhere other than the Jasmine, and thats coming from somebody who always said "there's a huge world out there, why go to the same place twice ".
If you're looking for a friendly, relaxing, clean place to stay, you will find it at Jasmine !.

Now I just have to sit and wait till May when we return for our first anniversary !

Fantastic!

We arrived, checked in & were helped with our luggage to our room by the porter.

The appartment was basic but clean & spacious.

I must admit that we didn't spend much time using the facilities at Jasmin Beach, prefering to explore Gumbet & Bodrum.

The shop at reception was expensive but you are just a 10 minute walk from town where you can find a few small supermarkets, or if in Bodrum go to the Tansas supermarket.

All the staff we encountered at the hotel were polite, happy & smiling, especially the cleaners who must be the hardest working bunch of people we have ever met.
We came home one evening to find our beds adorned with flowers & the towels had been rolled up & shaped into hearts, it was so beautiful we didn't want to go to bed & wreck it!!

We would go back to the Jasmin at the drop of a hat, could some one just lend us a few quid?!!

The Jasmin Hotel - well if you manage to discover it then you can consider yourselves lucky.
My husband and I had two wonderful weeks here in October, and in all the fifteen days it did not rain. How about that!

The hotel itself consisted on many blocks, all of which were designed in their own particular style.
I think the cleaning staff were excellent, and the bar staff and restaurant staff were excellent too. Well let's face it all the staff were fantastic and the reception were always so obliging.

The beach - which is just across the road was heaven, especially this time of the year, because you could always pick a suitable spot.

I am trying hard to find something negative to say and I am having great difficulty - oh I know, it was a bit cold in the sea (but once in delightful)

If you are lucky enough to get booked into this great hotel we wish you all great fun - enjoy it as much as we did.

Traveled to the Jasmine Beach Apartments on the 13th of September 2004, with my daughter and her husband and 4 year old daughter, on arrival the porter assisted us with our luggage to our apartments, the grounds of the Jamine are something else, they are beautiful and well maintained we had ground floor apartments ours being the worse out of the two apartments.

CAT'S everywhere and you could not leave your balcony doors open or they would have been in on top of you, our shower curtain was 4inches short so every time we had a shower the bathroom was flooded and with only one towel each you had to be very careful you did not slip on the floor. I had to report the lights that were not working in the apartment but to be fair the were fixed about 10 min's after phoning reception.

Beds were changed twice a week with the one towel changed at the same time.

We had friends who were in the Seasta Beach Apartments next door and we spent most of our time there, as we found these to be of a better standard.

The Jasmin Beach hotel was excellent, for the past 4 years I and other members of the family have returned year after year. The service from the staff and others at the hotel could not be beaten.

The rooms are basic but clean and tidy.

Excellent for getting into the local town of Gumbet or jump on the bus in Bodrum only a pound but well worth it.

Entertainment is a good laugh, it's hard to say a lot about this hotel and its staff they go out of their way to greet you on arrival and even until the time of departure.

This is one hotel you have to visit, just be quick to book early or you have no chance unless cancellations come up.

Looking forward to visiting them all again in Sept 05

the appartments are set in lovely gardens. It can be a little noisy at times. Our appartment was clean. The quieter appartments are near the roof top pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. Location is ideal. Never had a bad meal all the time we stayed. Windy bay was a favourite of mine for food. Best breakfast by far was Sammi Plaza staff are lovely and food very good.

Appartments clean and in a good location. Had a three course meal including steak for around £6.00 at the numerous resturants around. would recommend these appartments again. Entertainment could be better. Sandys boat trips are a rip off. She talks a good deal but it is all lies. Over crowding on the boat. £2.00 for a can of pop and the same again for a small beer. No snorkells on the boat when she had said there would be. Would avoid this trip at all costs lots of other boat trips being sold on the sea front.

We arrived very early in the morning, and porters took our cases to our rooms,we werent organined enough and we werent able to give him a tip, but he was fine.

The appartments are in two's ,we were in room 222, on the top, right next to the main pool, we had lovely views, from the back door we had the sea and the front the main pool area and bars etc, the rooms must be the original rooms, they were vary tired looking but to be honest it serve its purpose, we let the boys have the bedroom, but i must tell you the sofa beds were killers, the most uncomfatable thing i have ever had to sleep on, we requested more pillows, and we got them the next day.

lots of storage spaces for clothes, i never used the cooking rings at all , i never intended do, but you got a nice size frige, our shower wasn't excellent but again it served its purpose, i think the further you went back on the resort the more modern the rooms were,on the 3 day my son noticed a trail of ants coming out of the plug socket, we let it , not really worring about it, but one morning, our table top was covered in ants, we went down and saw the reception, and with in 5 minuts some one came out , looking like some one from, ghost busters and delt with it, we never had any more problems after that.

the rooms are cleaned every 3 days, but the paper bin in the loo and kitchen bins were empted evey day, the rooms were cleaned right trough on those days given you clean towels and sheets. i took extra toilet rolls because i read it here, and i am glad i did, you only got rolls when the rooms were done, we got air conditioning in the bedrooms, which was great for the boys but we were so hot in main living room, it seam pointless, reading trough the other comments i am now wondering if we were able to get fans, i wish i knew this because i would have certainly got one, i would have them been able to shout the balcany doors on the night (more about this later) no problems in saving your sun beds, even though one man went down to save 7 or more and he was told only 4,

The hotel gardens and pool area were 100%, all day the young lads around the pool were cleaning up wrappers and bottles.

every morning the floor area was cleaned.

THE DOWNSIDE OF THE POOL.
The footballs in the pool should be banned i did put this on my comment sheet, i haven't got no problems with the soft balls but some of the lads playing with the balls were yong men and went that ball hit you unexspectely it hurt i got hit 3 times whislt sun bathing and endless times in the pool,in the end i refused to even pass back the ball, ignoring it so they had to get out of the pool to get it, i know this all depends on what kind of guest is with you on your weeks.

first day at the pool, my boys were told to take off their t.shirts in the pool i fumming with all the hype going on abut sunburn i just couldn't beleave this was going on, not just my boys but all ages, in the end i went to see the tour rep who explained that with the colour t'shirts the dye was coming out and was doing things to the water, they decided that white t.shirts was fine. but this isn't advatised any where.

Hotel food was fine it wasn't big meals but enogh for dinner, we never tried the evening meal.

The hotel shop was basic, we got bread, jam and cheese , i wouldn't fuss in going to a super market to get any thing cheaper it got suncreams, sweets, heinze beans, toiletery items, etc.

Location i thought was great, my husband got a bad leg and he manage the small walk every day into the main centre, in fact every day it seamed shorter, .

Hotel staff was excellent, hotel reception, pool staff, bar staff and resturant staff, cleaning staff, couldn't ask for a more friendly group

Entertainent was so so we done the turkish night, but my boys wouldn't eat the food,

The BAD Points

The only bad points was the noise, we were right opposite the bar, which stayed open as long as drinks were being brought, i kidd you not that it was so noisy the first 3 days were were naturally tired any way and fell a sleep , but as the days went on, 4.30 untill 5am most nights, if the bar did close it was groups of people who sat around on the sunbeds drinking and just being loud, my boys are 11 and 14,cope with it, they were with the air conditioning so the balcany doors could be shut, i think any one with younger children will find this a big issue, the ones on my side all the 2's, were not only subject to the front bars noise but was also subjected to the back sports bar and the other hotel noise so we had it all round, this is my biggest issue, if i knew that we could have hired fans we would have been able to shut the doors and had a good nights sleep.

After a 40 min transfer from the airport we arrived at the Jasmin around 3.15am. Quick check-in, the porters take your bags to your room (we tipped ours 10 million - well worth it, we travel very heavy).

Immediately went back down to reception dripping with sweat to book the air conditioning, again well worth it - £20 per week, very quiet and extremely efficient. Also paid £10 per week for safety deposit box in reception.

We had requested a high floor and quiet room and got N631 (Narcissus). A very roomy studio, quiet and private, good view, well decorated and equipped with marvellous power shower and full bath. Loads of storeage space (not many hangers though). Only gripe -the light on the balconey was not bright enough to read by. One bath towel per person supplied, changed along with sheets 3 times a week. Maid tidies and makes beds etc every day. Spotlessly clean, never saw an insect. Our maid left us 3-4 loo rolls a week but most only got 1.

Lots of dogs and cats around the complex, owned by the hotel so very tame but lower floors often found cats on their balconies.

Grounds beautiful and spotlessly maintained. Complex isn't as big as you think, just take time to get your bearings. The path to the top pool and bar runs parallel to the path to the middle pool and bar. Top bar shuts early, around 11 to 12, as its not used much at night.

Middle pool bar is small with a pool table and a great atmosphere, our favourite to end the night, Hassan keeps it open until 3.30am (earliest) and once 6.15am (you have to be quiet, though). Main bar at big pool very friendly lively staff, great fun, varies when it closes - once as early as 3.30, latest we found was 5.30am.

Food at all 3 bars nowhere near as good or cheap as town but fine for through the day.
Middle pool does belly dancer/barbecue once a fortnight (Friday) - excellent value, delicious food, great fun.

Avoided evening entertainment at big pool - always went into town to eat.
We preferred the top pool as it was quieter and much friendlier. Although all the pools appeared spotless, many people got ear infections. Eight of us went about together, four got ear infections (not us, thankfully). Amoxycillin is available over the counter in the pharmacies and as that is what the doctor gives you it is worth finding out the correct dose before you go - £8 for the pills over the counter, £55 for them from the doctor. Pharmacy just above Cafe de Columbia.

This was the 4th year we've booked with First Choice and the first time to Turkey. Overall, First Choice were great (again)and the holiday was very good with only a couple of points which marred the experience...neither of which were a real issue.
Arrival in Bodrum airport:- pretty chaotic but nothing you wouldn't expect from a small holiday airport. Remember £10 per person (incl kids) to be payable before you get to passport control (they don't take Turkish Lira).
Arrival at hotel:- around 6.30am; check-in pretty efficient and bell-boy took cases to room. Small mini-mart in Reception to tide you over with water, bread etc.
Room:- one-bed apartment Felix block (ABCDEFG blocks named after flowers). The hotel's 3*+ and this is about right. Nothing spectacular but then who goes away to spend all the time in their room...clean/tidy; beds very comfortable; bins emptied daily; sheets/towels changed twice/week. Kitchenette adequate for breakfast...wouldn't cook a meal there but with so many restaurants to choose from within 10-15mins, each with so many dishes there was no need to. Note: wouldn't advise a room around the pool as you'll not get to sleep before 2/3am. If that's your thing, you'll be fine but we're not in the 18-30 bracket any more. The ABCDEFG blocks are far enough away not to be disturbed. Air-con worthwhile (£20 for fortnight). Only issue in 14 days was shower which wouldn't drain, called Reception and Maintenance guy there in 10mins; a bit of Mr Muscle type stuff and no more problems.
Hotel in general:- the grounds are some of the best I've seen; well kept and more colourful in such a dry climate than our own at home.
Pool:- good size, one depth (~1.4m), small toddler pool adjacent, both cleaned daily. Sun-beds readily available unless you wanted one with an umbrella (we did) in which case you really needed to "bag" one by 8am latest. Music playing most of the afternoon but not too intrusive. Two other smaller pools towards rear of hotel if you want somewhere a little quieter.
Entertainment:- to be fair not brilliant but that didn't detract from the holiday. Bar-b-q @£10/adult and £5/child was over-rated. Included belly dancer (watch out chaps, she gives you a personal dance and expects notes in her underwear - OK for a while but got tedious as she worked her way around 30-40 men), break dancers (actually pretty good), folk dancers (dire), russian dancers (no russian dancing and not my thing). The raffle was a bit of a rip-off as well.
Gumbet area:- restaurants, fake tee shirt/bag/watch shops and that's about it. Restaurants all a bit samey - Mistral very good (free kids meals and bottle of wine or beer), Red Dragon pretty good tho' pricier. Knock-off Game Boy Advance games £7-10ea; they'll let you try before you buy but remember they're not the genuine article.
Trips/things to do:- Dedeman Aquapark a good day out, 15-20mins away (usual slides, wave-pool etc.). Opens 10-6, tended to be v busy 11-4 but queues only around 5-10mins. "Happy Bubbles" scuba diving excellent; full day and non-divers can go as well. Not cheap but non-experienced or first-time divers go 1:1 with instructor. Bodrum has more to it than Gumbet; castle good to explore for a couple of hours; usual knock-off shops; some nice coffee shops further around the marina; taxi back around 5 mill (£2-3).
Overall:- excellent holiday/value and felt totally relaxed/safe. Would I go back...to that hotel, absolutely; would I go back to Gumbet, not sure.

Arrived about half past four in the morning and were shown to our rooms straight away which were spotlessly clean.

Having read reports on here about the noise at night we were quite worried when our rooms 812 and 813 looked out at the bar and resturant, but I can honestly say that we were never kept awake by any noise at all. Our children in our party were 6 9 and 13 and none of them had any problems with sleeping through noise.

The rooms have double glazing and as long as you purchase air conditioning you will be fine.

The grounds are kept very clean and tidy and are hosed down every morning.

We had no problems with mosquitos at all because of the pretty grounds.

Pool was cleaned every day.

Hotel staff were very friendly.

Food in main restaurant was mainly very good apart from once when our breakfast was stone cold and we sent it back and asked for a replacement. The replacement was our original heated back up as, I still had the ketchup on the plate, so I refused it as I didn't think it was acceptable to reheat it.

I haven't awarded many stars on entertainment as we didn't stay for any as we went out to the resort and were so tired we were in bed by 12am!

Would we use these apartments again? Definately!

This is my four year to Turkey and to this same hotel I love everything about Gumbet it has something for everyone the apartments are lovely and clean and the cleaners are so sweet they have remembered us each year.

The food served all through the day is really nice and good value for money.

The location of the Apartments is perfect as you or not in the middle of town but it’s only a 5 minute walk away.

The staff at the lower pool are gorgeous and friendly they, make sure everyone is entertained and they are very caring and trust worthy speaking from experience of many nights spent a bar street with them.

I am going again next year for 6 weeks to get a job and I will definitely visit all my friends as they have kept in touch all year round.

We stayed in the Jasmin apartments we were self catering. The hotel was really clean every morning the came in too the room and cleaned it out.

The hotel food was nice but we never stayed in for food we went out to the Mistral on the beach front where kids under ten eat free with a bottle of wine for free. I always went the Mistral because the food was gorgeous and staff were polite.

The location of the hotel was really good only 5 min walk from the hotel to the beach.

The hotel staff were brill they like too have jokes and mess around ha.

The entertainment was good but I can't say because we never watched it.

I would visit this hotel again as we are going back in September 2005.next year will be the 4th year running to the Jasmin.

We arrived at around 4:30am and were amazed to see the bar was still open, apparently it closes when they have no more customers. It was kind of worrying as you immediately wondered about the noise levels at night. Fortunately we were far enough away not to hear much at all, others weren't as lucky and I spoke to many guests who were shattered through lack of sleep.

We had a 1-bed apartment in the Narcissus block, which had a very large bedroom, 2 full size sofa beds and 2 balconies. The apartment was quite clean although the bathroom was a little sad looking. That said it had the most powerful shower I think I've ever tried.

The hotel is a little out of the way, about 10 min walk from town. It's advertised as being near to the beach and it is, however it's only really suitable for water sports (of which there are many) as it's quite grubby and shingled.

The staff at this complex are very pleasant and were always very polite (in our experience). There are security men patrolling the complex at night who wish you a good evening as you go out or goodnight as you return. The gardens were superb with lots of flowers, fruit and veg and were tended by many gardeners. We were talking to a man we thought was a gardener one day, he said that if we wished we may help ourselves to the fruit and veg. It turned out he wasn't a gardener he was the hotel owner, I guess he must like looking after gardens!!

I would recommend anyone going to Gumbet to go Self Catering. We ate at a different restaurant every night and didn't have a bad meal. We had 2 meals that I would describe as ordinary (The Windmill and at The Dream Girls Show) and the rest were great. As well as being good the food was also very cheap, our most expensive meal was 90 million TL (approx £33) in the Red Dragon Chinese (that's 3 adult meals with drinks).

Although we had a good stay at the Jasmin too many other guests were complaining about the noise levels (those situated near to the bars - of which there are 3), I'd be afraid to book again in case I had one of the noisy rooms.

We went without knowing much about the hotel. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. And speaking to locals, it is one of the best and most popular around.

CLEANLINESS- The room and hotel was very clean. Didn't see any rubbish, dirt, insects or cockroaches. The cleaners were very effective. I once heard them clean next doors' room for 2 hours. They also restacked our Jenga after we left it on the floor! Buy extra toilet paper though. you only get it every 2/3 days.

LOCATION- The hotel is a bit out of Gumbet centre, but is still only a 10 minute walk away. A taxi will cost £2. The brochure said the beach was 100m away, but is more like 25m.

ENTS- There wasn't much entertainment, but I can't stand hotel ents, hence I give it a 4 out of 5! There is 3 pools (I recommend the roof pool as you can nearly always get a sunbed, and the pool is quieter). Most nights they show a (pirated!) film on a big screen. There was also a Turkish night. The bar stays open for as long as someone is drinking there!

I thought that the Jasmine Beach was clean we had two maids they were lovely

We didn’t stay at the hotel for food. We had breakfast when we arrived at the Jasmine and it was disgusting

The hotel location I would give it five because you are five minutes away from bars and restaurants.

We had a lovely time we even went up by the windmill in Gumbet to an English bar called Mary's bar the food there was delicious.

The hotel staff were really friendly even though they didn’t understand English they did their best.

Entertainment one because there wasn’t much on especially for the youngsters

I certainly won't go to this hotel again would go to Icmeler or Marmaris

I will start off with the very few bad points, we found a couple of cockroaches in our apartment but the reception sent some one up to sort it out as soon as we asked them and we didnt have a problem since. The Food from the restaurant wasn't particurlarly delicious but the waiters
looked after us and worked very hard.

Enough of the bad stuff, lets have the good stuff-
I personally befriended 2 of the barmen and regularly keep in touch with one of them, so if anyone visits the bottom pool (nearest reception) before the end of September please say 'Hi' to Heredot/Sedat. The beach is
about a 2 minute walk away from the hotel and on the beach you will find lots of activities to do, such as:
para-sailing, jet-skiing, bannana boats and boat trips!

The transfer from Bodrum airport to Gumbet is good only takes about 40 minutes. Arrived in the early hours, checked in quickly and porter took our cases to room.

Jasmin has 3 swimming pools, the main one at reception is quite big and noisy, pool is 1.4 metres deep and a smaller kids pool about 0.4 metres deep. Plenty of sunbeds and chairs to go round, although after 11.00 you may not get a sunbed.

A smaller poool is located further into the complex, quite small again 1.4 m deep and a smaller kids pool 0.14 m deep. Much quieter and sunbeds are normally all booked by about 10.00. A small bar and shop is also here.

Another pool near the Narcissus block is high up,no shade whatsoever, small bar and a few sunbeds.

Jasmin has extensive gardens throughout which are well looked after, lots of colour palm trees etc which give plenty of shade particularly in the older blocks at ground level.

Rooms are a bit basic but clean, the furniture in the older blocks looks like its been around since the eighties. Good showers, but remember to pack your own toliet roll, you only get a pack twice a week.

Location is brilliant, a gentle stroll to town takes about 10 minutes, the beach is about 3 minutes away. try walking a little further along the front, where the beach does get better.

You can hire air conditioning at £20 per week, microwaves, fans and safety deposit boxes are £10 per week. Shop at reception is limited, water bread cheese sweets crisps drinks eggs breakfast cereal but is a bit on the pricey side. Get a dolmus right outside the Jasmin to Tansas supermarket, just behind the dolmus station in Bodrum, costs 1.25 million. Prices are about a third os the price of reception shop, better choice as well.visit once a week to stock up.

Drinks are slightly dearer in the jasmin than in town. Biggest rip off is soft drinks, not just at the Jasmin but all over. A large beer costs about 2.5 million, a arge cola/fanta costs about 5 or 6 million, same price as some cocktails.

Lots of good restaurants to visit. The first restaurant you come to heading towards town is the Windy Bay and further along the Cafe de Columbia. Both are steak houses and the steaks are top notch, well priced as well.
Shopping in Gumbet is a bit disappointing not a lot of choice, best go to Bodrum

Jasmin Apts are a relitively big complex with no lift! If situated on the top floor at the back of the resort expect a 5-10 min walk through stairs and gardens to get out of the complex -bear this in mind if children and elderly are going, it can be a taxing stroll in the heat! The view however from these rooms (of the harbour and bay) is something that one wakes up from dreaming about i.e. its breath taking and is worth the exertion mentioned. Dont bother shopping in the hotel shop unless you must -its expensive. Take a trip on the efficent and inexpensive Dolmus (local busses which pick up right outside Jasmin) to supermarket and stock up for duration. (These busses are an experience of turkish culture alone). My advice travel light in general going to turkey. Forget toiletries, and an abundance of clothes. You will get these things there (although men bring your own shaver/razar the turks must endure nothing but pain every morning with the standard of shavers over there). In fact many people, lured by the cheap shopping there, find they buy an extra bag or case to carry shopping home. Loads of people got caught for excessive weight in the airport homeward bound. Restaurant in Jasmin fine. Bit basic but the staff are great. Watch out for mosquitos and ants which infest the botanical garden-like ambience of Jasmin. We had to call doctor one night due to swollen ankles from bites. Again with kids/elderly this could spoil things.

Well what can i say, Gumbet and The Jasmin were brilliant, one of the best ive stayed in. When we got back from the jasmin at the end of June we were all completely gutted, as im somewhat over my gutted stage here goes with the review.

The Jasmin Studio's are some of the best that ive ever been to We stayed in the newly built Narcissus block (we stayed in 755 and that was brillant. The rooms are new, air con, lovely kitchen with 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster (which is unusual) and all the other things that you'd expect. Lovely bathroom with full size bath and the best power shower ive ever had. decoration is nice and you get 3 plastic chairs to go on the amply big enough balcony. Beds weren't the softest but then when are beds really comfy on holidays.

The pools at the Jasmin as really nice. The top pool seamed to be a nicer pool with less children round it which we found good.

The Bar Staff were friendly and comical, everyone loved them, they would dance behind the bar.Nice clean pool and lovely sunbathing area beside the pool and bar.

Hi,

Four of us went to Jasmin beach on 23rd May for a week and we had a brill time and got a good deal - £157 each!!

The Jasmin apartments shocked me as I have been to Altinkum 3* last eyar and the apartments were much more modern than I expected. In Altinkum the shower was awful but Jasmins was more powerful than the ones in England. We stopped in the Narcissus building (if thats the one with the roof top pool). It's very quiet but was as far back as you could get in the complex and strolling in drunk at 5am was very hard!! The complex was massive and we didnt get to look around all the complex in our stay. We found the pool top restaurant much better than the main. the food looked and tasted better and the quantity was much better than the main eating area. . . although the waiters on the pool bar were quite laid back and you had to ask them to order food even though you was sat in the restaurant area.

The hotel is situated just 5-10 minutes walk to Gumbet centre and its a nice walk... I am no walker but the walk from Jasmin to Gumbet did not bother me one bit, as you pass loads of resdtaurants and shops on the way.

There were loads of shops and I found the cheapest shops at the top of Gumbet, where I got 3 decent quality FCUK tshits for a tenner .. they kept giving us more discounts when we bought more (without haggling) I couldnt get rid of the £50 I took with me. If you get a taxi to drop you off at "Bombay Cottage" (will tell you about that later) then the good value shop is just up on a quiet road next to the restaurant.. I think it was called 'designer warehouse'.

When you go, dont bother changing much into Turkish as all our shopping was done using english notes (you get the best exchange rate and they love English money). I think we got an exchange rate of 2.6million to the pound in Jasmin but I think you got a better rate at the exchange shops.

Food - well where do I start... Bombay Cottage is a must for all you curry lovers ... it's at the top of Gumbet Centre .. but I'd get a taxi from Jasmin, it's only 5million - £2 and it saves you the up-hill walk. Although Bombay Cottage wasnt mega cheap, it was one of the best currys I had (I think it was £33 for four of us having a curry with rice or chips and a nan bread plus all our drinks so still not too bad and the chips are proper home-made yum yum. The view from Bombay Cottage is gorgeous, overlooking the centre and a beach/sea view. Other places we visited were Zorros excellent steaks mmm and a chinese!!

Bars were really good, me and my friend lived in X-Bar and Planet Vodka. Say hi to sonic in xbar and TP in Palnet Vodka.

Anyway, hope you've got an idea of what it's like if you want to know anything else, let me know.

PS - We liked it that much we're trying to go back on 29th August .. .also there was four of us 18, 22, 35 and 40 years of age and we all loved it, so proves it's not just for one age bracket

We arrived at hotel Jasmin 14th May 2007 and left 21st May 2007.

Hotel Jasmin was very clean and had beautiful gardens surrounding the hotel. I had a studio apartment which was lovely well kept and spacoius. We always had clean bed linen and towels.

We didnt eat at hotel because there so many restaurants to choose from.Location was great we were only 10 minute walk into town where the nite life was buzzing. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Entertainment was good there was a variety of things on each nite.

I would go back to the Jasmin because its family oriented very chilled and relaxing not noisy.

My wife and I stayed in the Jasmin apartments in 2003 and what a time we had.On arrival at the apartments(5:30am)we were checked in very speedily as we were all ready to get a few hours sleep and helped with our baggage to our rooms by a porter, who incidentally picked our bags up for the return flight. When we got to our rooms I must admit thet did seem a bit out of date and basic but we bit the bullet and gave it a chance. It wasn't until about 9:30 that morning that we realised they had put us in one of the rooms by the main pool and to our annoyance the music in that bar went on at full blast,by the way it didn't stop on the morning of our arrival until 6:30.

Don't get me wrong I#'m not trying to put anyone off, we LOVED the place but there has to be some down side to every holiday for an honest report.Anyway thats the moaning done. After 2 days of trying to live with the noise we saw our rep who sorted us out a new room that day and what a delight it was, clean, modern, good self catering facilitied and quiet when we liked it to be.

The facilitied are good at the Jasmin with three pols of varying types, the main 'family' pool is just behind reception and quite large and looked clean although we never actually used it.The top pool is on top of one of the blocks of apartments and this is a nice large pool very clean and new,it is also one of the most safe pools I have seen in my travels but that is probably cos it was brand new last year. The final pool and our favourite was the 'middle' pool, although this was the smallest pool we found a nice family atmosphere here, you see the same faces and get to know everyone, something we find important on our holidays. There are four bars in total selling a wide range of drinks although if you are an archers fan like my wife then take plenty of readies with you cos imported drinks are a criminal price here. The bar staff are amazing considering the lllooonnngggg working hours they have and I couldn't say a big enough thanks to Hassan and Ayhan at the middle pool bar who made everyones time there the best.

Our rooms got cleaned everyday with fresh towels and bedding changes twice weekly by friendly and courteous staff.Anyway thats enough from me.If I wa sto give an overall score for The Jasmin I would have to say 10/10.(Ps bak there 26/7/2004 Can't wait !!)

Stayed here on my first time to Gumbet. It’s a lovely place to stay, we were there the first week of May so it was fairly quiet.

The pools are great & there was always loads of sunbeds available.

Our apartment was quite big & had a small balcony. There were 3 of us sharing a 1 bedroom apartment so the size was ideal for us.

The staff were all really friendly from day one & the pool side bar was fairly buzzing all day with music playing. They had a BBQ night which was really good fun.

The food was delicious & they had the usual Turkish entertainment on, belly dancing & break dancers.

We were a group of 3 girls on a wild week away & even though the apartments are more for families we still found them great.

The location is good but a little walk away to the main area. It’s a nice walk along the beach though & it will only take you about 10 mins to reach the bottom of bar street.
