| said: We stayed at the holiday village and found if to be a very nice hotel with excellant facilities and very friendly staff.
I was a little worried about the menu choices going all inclusive as im a very fussy eater but was very happy and supprised.
They had a excellant range of dishes to suit everyone even me, with theamed (Other culture based) nights. The location of the hotel was a little dissapointing, appart from a restaruant and supermarker across the road there was nothing else around if you wanted to go off the hotel you needed to take a 10 min bus ride in one direction to Coral Bay or 10-15 min the other for Paphos Harbour and the markets but the bus ride was very cheap and Taxis were quite resnably prices.
We found the hotel to be very Clean and the maid came to the room everyday in the week except for 2 which were the main check in day for arrivels so they were getting them rooms sorted for the new guests. we got to know the maid as we had the same one for the whole of our stay.
The entertainment on the complex was excellant and could not be faulted. The entertainment team worked very hard everyday from around 10 in the morning though to midnight and offered a range of day and night entertanments from fun fitness, Vollyball, Waterpolo, Killer Darts, Quizes, Lucky 13 and Bingo ect.
They were very friendly and easy to approach as were the Transfore and hotel reps who on there days off on a few occations joined with the entertainment staff.
I would certianly return to this hotel and would reccomend it to anyone thinking of booking was definatly my best holiday so far.

| said: I recently returned from the Pafian Sun Village after spending a week there in the last week of September, first week of October.
First impressions - Arrived at night, met my friendly reception and given map to room. Being a single traveller i was suprised to open my door (20F) to a lovely spacious 1 bedroomed apartment. Could have easily housed 3. Far enough away from the entertainment stage but close enough to the pool, perfect.
Next morning woke up and first thing i did was check out the view. What can i say...stunning...a view over the ocean.
The Apartment was clean and had self catering facilities and even a hairdryer. I had read previous reports of ants so took my ant spray with me and gave the place a quick spray round for good measure. Didnt see any creepy crawlies in my apartment for the duration of my stay. Can see how maybe people on the ground floor might have problems as thier veranda's (instead of balconies) lead onto lovely gardens and flower beds. The area really is lovely and very well kept. Saw the maintainance man on several occasions gardening and he does a flippin good job!
Easily found a bed by the pool, hotel was, id guess, just over half full. Pool stunning, lovely and cool and the whole area clean and quiet. Mostly families and couples there. I only met one other person holidaying alone.
One word of warning. It happened to be Cyprus Independant day, so it was a bank holiday wknd whilst i was there. Would NEVER go again at this time.
From the Friday to the Monday the place literally got swamped with locals on a wknd holliday. Ive read people write this before and thought that it sounded a bit over the top but beleive me its a nightmare. The place turned from a lovely quiet, relaxing tranquil half full hotel to a zoo. It was mainly Cypriot teenagers, and whilst not behaving badly, they are just really loud. The pool got completly swamped and there was literally no room to swim and when they got hold of the water polo eqipment the rowdyness was unbeleiveable (and im not a party pooper, im only 32!) They were noisy from 7am in the morning (where the ones in the apartment under me woke the rest of thier block up by banging spoons on plates and chanting) up until at least midnight. They eventually left on the Monday afternoon and the place got back to normal. The whole time they were around i swapped my space by the pool and sunbathed down on the cliff top. Much quieter and a lovely breeze. And if you still happen to be there at 6.30 in the eve the sunset is trully amazing. Would be so romantic for couples. Me....I just had the local cat for company!...lol
Resturant staff lovely even if a bit too eager to clear your plates away, i think they have just been trained to do this but it is a little anoying as twice i got up to get milk/butter etc and they had whisked away my half drunk cup of tea...lol
All staff in hotel lovely. Bar, reception etc.
Evening entertainment was mainly the reps that work really hard at what they do. Nightly consisted of kids disco, then lucky 13, then Bingo then a singing show(usually done by the reps) or quiz etc. This was rather loud and could have done with being turned down after a certain time. Dont know how those with kids who went to bed coped coz i could still hear them singing from my appartment. I would recomend asking for a room away from the pool and stage if you like your early nights. The only night that really impressed me was a girl group, singer and 2 dancers, cant remember what they were called but the hotel should get more acts in like them. For a 4 star the entertainment could do with stepping up a mark.
Not much in the vacinity. Literally just the hotel shop and supermarket over the road. Paphos 10 min bus ride (stops over road) and Coral bay bout 8 mins bus ride in other direction.
Ok quick breakdown
Pros- lovely staff, good food, lovely pool, peacefull location, large clean rooms, realxing, stunning view, hot weather
Cons- no where to walk to of an evening. Have to catch Bus to any shops or Beach, drab entertainment
Would definatly recomend this hotel for someone (as i was) looking for a break away from it all, just wanting a plesant quiet holiday with great weather. Just dont go over a bank holiday!!!

| said: This is DEFINITELY NOT a 4 star. It’s a 4 “sun” which means there are plenty of facilities – and we can’t argue with that.
We don’t moan about holidays – they are to be enjoyed. So we’ll start off with the good bits. The food was excellent. Plenty of choice, all hot food kept hot, salads a plenty and even separate choices for the children (chips, pizza, nuggets etc). The public areas are clean and well maintained. The barstaff are quick to serve but there is only one bar for a lot of people (but we Brits are fab at queuing) ! Drinks are served in small plastic cups. If you like a long, cool beer, you’ll be forever at the bar topping up.
Don’t miss the sunset from the reception area. It is spectacular!
There is facility for wheelchair users, but not much.
The rooms are awful! Though large enough, the furniture looks like it’s from the 70’s. It was like walking into a set from Life On Mars. Our TV did work, but only if you kept your hand on the button as you watched it. Our bathroom had tiny ants everywhere – on the walls as well as the floors. The tile grout was obviously their playground! Not afraid to shower with a friend, but this was ridiculous. Not worth complaining about – you spend so little time in the room that it didn’t seem worth the hassle. One couple complained about bare wires in their bathroom. Reception came to investigate and insisted they weren’t live – touched them and flew across the room in a blue flash (he survived but was a little “shocked”). The couple got moved and the room was sealed off. So amends were made. Two other couples wanted to leave on arrival – one had a broken bed and the other – well I couldn’t repeat what they said!
The pool is for everyone – and there is only one, so if you fancy a relaxing dip, forget it. We were splashed by the aerobics and the kids jumping in from all angles. We went 3 weeks after schools in UK went back – but it made no difference, this could have been the height of the summer hols! The poolside is littered with sunbeds – there are not enough for the complex and they are so crammed in together, that when you want to turn around as the sun moves, you’ve no chance. But there is a quieter area down some steps on the grass (watch out for the midgies though).
The entertainment team was very good – very amusing. There is also an indoor pool and Jacuzzi and gym if you’re into that. Don’t bother with the internet facility – it’s not broadband and it ate my whole fee trying to connect to google!
Out and about, there isn’t much around the complex but a quick bus ride into Coral Bay or Paphos costs about 70p each way. To be honest, the weather was so hot and we had food and drink on tap being all-inclusive, we didn’t need to venture out that much.
We got a far better holiday last year a mile down the road and paid less for it, so we felt disappointed at this place. This said, we didn’t have a bad time, just wouldn’t chose this place again.

| said: Upon our arrival we found the rooms to be of a poor standard, more like a basic self catering room as compared to the expected 4*. We informed the rep Rachel of this and she moved us to a room over looking the sea, although this room was of the same standard the view was amazing.
We are so glad we stayed here, the facilities of the Hotel are what makes it a 4*. The all inclusive food was superb and had a different theme each night, the Chinese night was excellent. The choices at the meals was superb and catered for all, we even had some of the kids stuff on a few occasions!
thei is also the option of an a-la-carte restaurant and you get a free sitting in it once a week, although we didnt take up this option as we liked the main restaurant food.
The snacks menu could be a bit more choice and would benefit from having the toaster available for the snaks period.
Good variety on the all inclusive bar drinks.
The waiting and bar staff are really friendly and curtious.
The hotel has a superb swimming pool of a really decent size. The daytime activities focus round this, with daily games of ater polo and volleyball, but if you dont want to join in, ther is plenty of room in the pool to enjoy space. The hotel also has a large indoor pool which is cooler than the outdoor one, a jacussi, gym, steam room and sauna.
On site mini-market thats open all day and till about 10:30pm, sells everything from lilos to daily english newspapers (another shop and bar on main road opposite hotel)
The entertainment team are fabulous. There is a kids club which has activities on for the kids during the day and the 2 girls are really nice and friendly (We dont have any kids). The evening entertainment suits all, starting off early evening with kids activities.
The evening entertainment is set round an outdoor stage, which is an excellent facility. No mosquitos about in the evening.
The entertainmen team are superb and all 4 of them have different qualities and will keep you entertained, infact the entertainment team made our holiday so enjoyable and we would like to thank Kez, Wez, Stevie and John for being so superb. They put on numerous daytime activities, the fun fitness in the pool is a good way to loosen off, darts/table tennis/football (Hotel has a floodlit tennis court). A daily lunchtime quiz.
The evening entertainment consists of some game show type games and a show from the Thomas Cook team, who put on an excellent variety of shows. This is so good, you dont have to leave the complex if you dont want to.
The location of the complex is about a 10 min bus ride from Paphos centre/harbour and about a 3 min bus ride from Coral Bay (Superb goldern sand beach here). All bus rides are 80 cents per person. bus stop right ouside hotel.
Ignoring the room standard (Not as if you use your room for anything other than sleeping and showering) rooms contain lounge area that has seteee and tv, with balcony, the complex is highly recomended and we are so glad we stayed here. The air con is superb (Infact was to cold if left on at night) and this is available with a £5 deposit for the remote control from reception and is free.
You cant go wrong with a stay here, the complex is superb and the entertainmennt team will make your holiday, they all work so well together. (They could do with a few more umbrellas as it gets very hot).

As stated in a few of the other reviews, the rooms are basic - but clean - this is the only negative thing I have to say.
The food was great and plentiful, the entertainment staff worked very, very hard and made the 2 weeks holiday a pleasure - I am not normally one for night after night shows but the themes and delivery of the shows was second to none.
A little disappointed that drinks day and night are served in 'small' plastic cups however I guess the concept of broken glass around the pool isn't great bearing in mind we had a 3 year old child to consider.
A wonderful holiday.

The location wasnt ideal but buses run every 15 minutes from just outside the hotel. Staff were friendly. And the entertainment was the best we have seen for a very long time. Kerry, John, Stevie and Wes made our holiday. They worked extremely hard to make sure everyone who wanted to get involved did. It was a 2 week programme so you didnt see anything twice. Fantastic team. Hopefully going back in october

| said: After reading some of the reviews on the hotel, we arrived with an open mind. We were part of a wedding group staying at various hotels and arrived here as a party of 4 adults and one teenager (aged 14) We arrived late at night and were more then pleased with the hotel.
It's beautiful, a large spotless pool, plenty of sunbeds, polite staff and a decent array of food. Those who complained about the food must be very fussy as everynight there was a good choice. Being all inclusive if you didn't like something you can always go for something else!
After the first couple of days we never saw my son. The place was not over run with kids but there were enough there to keep one another entertained.
The room itself was good large enough for the 3 of us not to be on top of one another, with a good size patio area, which was private...we hadn't asked for a pool view which would obviously be more public!
Coral Bay is good, going one way and Paphos going the other, buses run every 15 minutes.... and a small bay just behind the hotel which is good for snorkeling you can't really ask for more!
The entertainment was actuallly good fun too, if you allow yourself to get involved, it's not in your face but good fun if you take part, you can win quite a lot of money too!
The holiday reps were all genuinely nice people, who took the time to learn names and talk to you if they saw you round town, they really did work very hard and again weren't overpowering.
Overall I'd give it 4 out of 5 we had a fantastic time it was well worth every penny

Food was very good the choice was enormous so you could always eat something and it was nice to be shown to your table for every meal.
Hotel is only remote if you have not got a car or can not afford 80 cents for the bus!
Entertainment was excellent for the kids from 10am till 10pm.Really could not fault the place for the money paid for all inclusive, which is the only way to go at this resort as many other people upgraded to A.I. as it was such value for money.

poor location need a cab at night unable to walk outside hotel grounds at night as lack of pavements and walking in the road is a NO NO as it is a very busy highway. Reception staff and bar staff were very polite and helpful. The entertainment was of very poor quality and the entertainment area was of a village hall stage and guest had to sit on white plastic chairs at matching tables, the sort found in our back gardens. We have been many places around the world staying at 3,4and 5 star hotels and comes no where near any of them.4 Thomas Cook suns equal to 2Thomson stars.

| said: At this time of year no problem getting a sunbed at anytime of the day. Weather was good 30c on average.
All the staff were freindly and helpful. We got a ground floor apt, as requested, fairly clean except for a few cobwebs on the ceiling and between the pictures on the wall. Very roomy for two people.
I am a fussy eater but I thought the choice of food was one of the best I have seen and very tasty.
The entertainment, I am not a bingo and singalong type of person, usually if its the reps who are doing the entertainment I'm the first one out of there but once the nightly bingo was out of the way and they even made that funny. The four reps/entertainers (Mark,Laura,Ben and Teresa)were top class, every night was different, they all had good voices and were well worth watching. At the end of each show they would come and 'mingle' with the hotel guests and have a chat, which I thought was really good.
Location. It took about 20 minutes by bus (80 cents) to get into Paphos where there is a undercover market, a nice harbour and a site worthwhile seeing where they discovered some mosaics in their original settings. Nearer to the hotel is the Tombs Of Kings site which is also worth a visit.
Although the hotel was nice I don't think it is a 4 star but a good 3. What made it for us was the staff, which can change from one year to the next, all the nice people we met (other holiday makers)while there and deffinately the entertaimment team, who were excellent but who sadly are going their own seperate ways at the end of the year.

| said: The Pafian Sun Holiday Village, or "Butlins" as the local ex-pats call it, was a pleasant place in a great location with some stunning sea views. We had fab sunset views from our terrace.
The apartment was basic, but met our needs. We did have the odd ant wandering through, but nothing major. There was an adjoining door to the next apartment, which could let in a lot of noise from next door if you have loud folk in there! On our arrival, this door was unlocked. I actually opened it without realising where it led, and walked in on our neighbour! Fortunately she was very nice and laughed about it afterwards. (I must say at this point that if there were any problems, the reception staff got the maintenance staff on the case immediately - a man arrived within the hour to lock the door.)
The staff were all really nice - very efficient, friendly and helpful, often with a great sense of humour.
The food was very good, especially at dinner, with themed nights. There could perhaps have been more variety at lunchtimes.
While the entertainment team work really hard, if you don't like cabaret and games in or around the pool, you'll hate it. There is a non-stop entertainment programme for kids as well as adults, and it can get a bit loud at times. If you want peace and quiet, it probably won't be for you.
We chose to holiday in September to avoid school holidays and therefore loads of kids, so we were amazed and a bit annoyed at how many families with school-age kids were there during term-time. (Obviously this is more to do with irresponsible parents than the hotel.) The lesson for us was "if you don't like kids, stay away altogether!" Bit of a shame, really.

Room clean but a bit drab, we had a balcony overlooking the sea - the sunsets were lovely.
Plenty of sun beds, round the pool and also on grassy verge overlooking sea.
The enterainment team were very good, Theresa, Ben, Laura and mad Mark - their interpretation of Alladin was funny. All the kids seemed to love them. You could join in with the enterainment (from 10am daily) if you wanted to, but weren't pushed into anything.

| said: My mum and dad took us to the Pathian Sun holiday village in Cyprus, but I wish Airtours had not messed up our original all inclusive holiday to Fuerteventura because Pathian Sun was horrible!
The hotel rooms were basic, but kept clean most of the time except for the sand on our floor, which stuck to our feet for over a week after a visit to Coral Bay beach.
The food was okay, but no better than the 3 star accommodation we usually go to. This could not be classed as 4 star, no way, not a chance of that.
The hotel was located just off a busy and dodgy main road which was always full of traffic, even late at night.
Some of the staff were okay, but some were very rude and looked unhappy when serving drinks. Ben, Hayley, Teresa and crazy Mark made me laugh in the evening entertainment spot, but most days were the same stuff. Same music, same water fitness, same water polo (played by very serious adults), same water volleyball, again played too seriously by adults. The kids hardly got a chance to touch the ball, let alone play!
I don't like it at Pathian Sun, it is not my idea of relaxation, it is far too busy for that and you have to travel if you want a beach. No I would not want to stay at Pathian Sun ever again. I am 15 and my 12 year old brother thinks the same, this is no good. Come back Fuerteventura!

| said: I have never been so uncomfortable on a holiday complex like this in all my life.
If this is four star, I'm the man in the moon! The accommodation was basic and our apartment was not even ready for us on our arrival.
No towels,no bedding and no air conditioning! We had already paid for air-con in our AI deal, but we were told it would cost 70 cypriot pounds to have it put on, but that was out of order and we refused to pay.
The cleaners had their work cut out, there are a lot of apartments for them to clean, but they did not live up to a good standard,at least not in our case. We had sand on the floor for over a week and the towels only got changed twice a week.
The food is not too bad,but the outdoor eating area was situated next to the pool and eating was not at all comfortable or enjoyable, especially at lunchtime, when the animation team thought it was a great idea to play water polo just as you wanted to try and enjoy your afternoon meal.
The hotel was just off a busy main road and did not have a beach, just a rocky outcrop which was not safe for those unsure on their feet.
Some of the staff were down right rude and sulked most of the time, although the animation team of Ben,Mark,Hayley and Teresa did their best to keep the kids entertained.
The bar staff more or less threw drinks at you without so much as a smile and all drinks came in plastic cups which littered the complex. On one occasion a boy of no more than fifteen was drunk and tried his best to impress his mate by standing up to me. I am not the tallest of women, but I have sons twice his size and told him to get off, which made him feel rather silly,I hope. This is not holidaying, not when you have encounters with teenagers. Some hung around in gangs as though the complex was some kind of ghetto and security had to be called in to sort these kids out!
The overall entertainment was repetetive and boring once you realise its going to be the same for two whole weeks on every morning, afternoon and evening.
There is no hope in hell of getting me back to the Pafian Sun Holiday Village,I feel I need another holiday just to get over this over-rated 4 star joke of a place.
No chance of chilling here, this is full on Pontins in the sun!

| said: I stayed in the Pafian Sun in July 06 I thought that the resort was very nice, it had most things you needed.
There was a shop which sold most things and a supermarket just across the road.
The Hotel has two swimming pools a big one and a children's one which was ideal because there was a lot of children.
The entertainment team was good but it felt like they did the say thing over again there was also kid’s hour where they could go up on stage and dance and play games.
I think the Hotel was really clean and the maids did a good job everyday except Fridays and Sundays where they don't work. All in all I recommend this hotel to families not people who want a real relaxing holiday.

| said: The Pathian Sun Holiday Village is not, as some people believe,a great place to holiday.
It is very very basic for a complex rated 4 star. The food is okay, but no better than any three star complex my family and I have visited in the past.
The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, with plastic cups, fag ends and paper strewn about the place.
The location is hopeless, just off a busy main road and without a beach. The only hope of dipping your feet in the med in this complex is if you are able to clamber over rocks, there is no sand in sight.
The cleaners show on most days, but only change towels twice per week. We had sand, from a visit to Coral Bay beach, on our floor for over a week, this was obviously not swept clean at any stage of our stay.
The entertainment team did their best, but it was very much the same thing day in and day out, this gets on your nerves after two weeks on the complex!
There is no way we would visit this place again, the atmosphere was awful, gangs of kids congregating between the 'clusters' (apartments), made life a little uneasy at times,a holiday is for relaxation and Pathian Sun did not provide me or my family with either.

| said: When i read the bad reviews on this site I was very wary about what were going to find, I was thoroughly impressed with the complex.
My 7 year old is a fussy eater but the food on offer satisfied his needs. From Breakfast up till dinner the food is delicious with varied themed nights all week.
The staff are fantastic and very friendly. The entertainment on offer is great from 10.30 in the morning until midnight. The entertainment team is great well done Theresa, Hayley, Ben & Mark (the craziest of the bunch)
The complex is clean the rooms are compact but cleaned regular.
The view is great and the pool area is very clean with loads of room and pleanty of sun beds available
There is a bus stop right outside which runs every 15 mins to Paphos or Coral Bay, but you really do not need to leave the complex if you don't want to. A mini market on site and a supermarket across the road.
Our flight home was late at night and room had to be vacated by midday, but you can stay on complex until your transfer and use the showers and changing room for free or pay 15 cyprus £ for a late check out.
We intent to return next year to the same complex.

| said: I took my wife for her birthday on arrival I was impressed with the layout of the village everything was close by, the reception area was clean and welcoming.
our room was a good size as a 1 bedroom, the hotel was once self catering and the room contained everything you would need. Apart from "Ants" I think it may of been hatching season because they were everywhere but only little tiny ones, never really bothered us but several people were asking for their room to be sprayed.
The pool and the view was very nice indeed there was plenty of beds and a choice of poolside and grass areas for sunbathing, (advice for those who burn easily) try P20 apply once a day and thats it I'm fair and burn easy but I've never looked back since I tried this, (soory about the advert)
Anyhow the staff a mixture of Cypriut and Hungarians
who dont speak hardly any greek, they were freindly enough and plenty of them, the restaurant lookd a little dissorganised at times both service and in the kitchen, running out of things and panic setting in?
The Entertainment Bingo everynight it averaged CY£55 a line and CY£185.00 each night so it was adictive.
the entertainers I would like to thank thay do a great job but dont speak Greek????
this was a shame as pointed out on the coach from the airport, "Dont worry about the language every body speaks english" I've been learning Greek and was eager to practice!
It was a bank holiday 10-11-12th June and quite a few Cypriuts stayed at the hotel for a 2 night stay It was a shame the entertainers couldn't communicate with them too well and I felt they were left out but thank god they came the food improved ten fold and they chef was out around the pool talking to his fellow countrymen as if he knew each of them.
The location and Paphos:
It has been 15 years since I was last there and how it has grown development everywhere getting more like Las Americas Tenerife every day there are pleanty of all day breakfast places and never ending bars,
Bad point though the timeshare touts have landed God how they annoy me!
to summerise I would return for half the price if the chef has thrown away his Karma Sutra sausage cookbook
(sausages everywhere)
It is very british even in the food Fetta cheese only made 2 appearences in a week and the salad was sprinkled with verious unnessiceries, curry powder, seasame seeds, ect
Now the important bits the beer was good Keo:
but served in plastic beakers you know the type that spill when held too tight.
If you like staying in the hotel grounds and dont like forign things on your holiday then go here if it's culture your looking for then choose another
3* not a 4, but going in the right direction.

The food was ok and catered for all tastes even children.
The location wasn't great but you had most things you need on the complex. It had a bus stop outside, a shop across the road and a sports bar with sky sports.
The swimming pool was very big so you had a lot of room to swim in and the indoor pool was a fair size too.
The entertainment was different every night and it was always very good for both adults and children alike.
I enjoyed my stay very much.

Entertainment BEFORE 1/4/06 very, very poor( out of season)but kids and adults alike loved entertainment after this date.
We went all inclusive for two weeks, the food was the worst I have ever come across, luck warm and the same day in day out. Anything not eaten was mixed in with the food the day after. Snacks were no better, any food left over from dinner and tea was put to one side and this was your snacks.
We would never return to this hotel and if you like decent food, I wouldn't bother going either

The food was only luke warm and the choice was poor, we decided to skip the meals and have snacks which were available between meals to find they were left overs from the previous meal.
The entertainment guy gave the impresion he would rather be some were else and when we we asked about the cooking demonstration which was on the events board he new nothing about it!

| said: This is the first time we have been all inclusive and I was impressed with how much you get for your money. Basically there is food and drink available all day which doesn't help your waistline!
The hotel was clean and the rooms were tidied daily but if you didn't want them to, then just put the Do not Disturb sign out on your door. We had an excellent studio room which was right on the front facing the sea, so could even sit on your balcony and sunbathe if you didn't want to go round pool.
We found the hotel staff to be very helpful and polite. We were a young couple and didn't really take part in the evening entertainment as it was mainly bingo and caberet shows there, but this may be different in the summer season, it depends on what you like.
For those that may want to do other things during the day they do killer darts and ball games if that is your type of thing, but I was just happy to relax in the sun.

Facilities at the hotel were very good. 2 pools, indoor heated. Plenty of sun beds and tables outside. Well equipped gym.
Food was very good - plenty of choice - theme nights great - little disappointed with the a la carte - you could eat in here once during your week. This hotel gave proper all inclusive food and drink. Breakfast then snacks. Lunch then snacks. Dinner then snacks. The alcohol - all types were included and very generous measures.
The rooms were very spacious and kept clean.
The buses were very cheap and regular into the market and harbour and coral bay. Taxi drivers a little scary.
I would go back. We had a great time.

Hotel was great. Spacious rooms and very clean.
The food, great salads (when it's hot, thats all you want sometimes), brilliant choice.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.
The location isn't the best, but we rented a car and found that much easier to see most of the place.
Night time entertainment was fantastic, the entertainment staff were the best, they really made our holiday, especially Stratford, (good time girl)
I don't normally visit a place that I have already been to, but this was that good, I have already booked to go back later this year.

Even though we had gone All Inclusive we had an apartment which was fully fitted for self catering. The apartment was cleaned most days as was the poolside.
We couldn't fault the food, there was always something very every taste. And as for those who have said the drinks were watered down - they're definitely not!
The entertainment team couldn't be faulted for their enthusiasm. All day every day they had activities on the go and worked really hard at night, but the evening entertainment was a little repetitive and very holiday campish, we didn't mind though!
I couldn't fault the hotel itself but it is a bit far away from anywhere else. There is a regular bus service to Paphos and Coral Bay but the buses do get very full.
All in all we had a great honeymoon and would recommend this hotel especially to families.

The hotel itself is in between 2 livelier resorts (Coral Bay & Paphos Town) which have a larger selection of shops & restaurants but they are both only 5 mins away by bus.
The apartments and poolside area were very clean and spacious. The staff were forever collecting empties keeping the pool area clear & tidy.
Its the first time we've gone all inclusive and I must say what great value for money it is with a great selection of meals on offer every day.
The reception & bar staff were all very friendly & helpful and the entertainment team including James, Julie, Stuie & Jamie were fantastic & kept us laughing the whole holiday. They all worked so hard keeping us entertained throughout the day @ night.

The rooms were clean but but now looked a bit tired.
The towels were changed twice a week but you could ask at reception for a few extra towels.
some of the sun loungers could do with replacing and some of the pool area had been taken up with chairs and tables for the evening entertainment(this was indoors last year) The entertainment round the pool was noisy. A car is needed as the location is quite some way from pafos, although there is a local bus service, and the stops are right outside the hotel.

We were allocated room 26E which was just down from the poolside.
The rooms were clean, towels changed twice a week. As we were self catering we never ate at the paphian but we heard off a couple of people that the food was not very nice.
Paphos itself was ok but we prefered to go to Coral Bay to eat I can recommend a restaurant called Sirienna the suckling pig was excellent.
Over the road from the Paphian is a place called the crazy Spoon this was where we spent most of our time as the football is shown there you pay £3 to get into the room where there are 4 projector screens you will also get a free drink this is whatever you want.
Overall holiday excellent would recommend it.

Ok,the furnishings are rather 70's but on the whole it was very clean and the maid seem to come almost every day with fresh towels and changed the bed linen every other day.
We didnt have any problems with noise, all the music was turned off by midnight. The food was good lots of choice from carvery to chinese even fresh pancakes/omelettes cooked while you wait.
The entertainment was very good (excellent). We even managed to win a superstar t-shirt each. The entertainers Julie (biggest ship in the world), Becky, Craig, James and new boy Jamie worked really hard all day every day. Some of the evening shows werent our scene but they cant please everyone all of the time.
Our son Kieron (Blazing Squad), had "the best holiday ever" making so many friends and is still in touch with most of them. Yes, its a bus ride into either Paphos or Coral Bay but we enjoyed it, and its only 70p to go anywhere.
In short I would recommend the Paphian Sun to anyone with children especially teens(maybe not singles/couples). We may even go back next year!

We can't fault it at all. The area was great with it being between Paphos and Coral bay you have the best of both worlds. Even though it was near to a main road we couldn't hear any noise from it, our studio was situated next to the reception area and the music stopped at twelve midnight.
The food was excellent the staff were all very pleasant the rooms were clean and looked after, nothing was to much trouble for anyone to do.
Any problems were sorted out promptly and everyone spoke very good English. Nearly every night and day the head chef came to see if our meals were alright and if we had any complaints.
I would recommend anyone to visit this hotel, the entertainment well what can I say but wow they were fantastic while we were there they reached number one in the category for the entertaining that they did.
Out of all the resorts over the world they made us laugh and they got the holiday makers up and clapping singing and joining in with everything , fabulous people they could turn thier hand to anything.

| said: Stayed here for one week with 2 of our grandchildren.
On arrival we were allocated room 12h (all rooms are in clusters)as we arrived late on saturday night we just wanted to sleep but when seeing the room went straight to reception to ask to be moved (looking at a building site and a main road was not my idea of a relaxing holiday) but we were told we would have to wait until tomorrow.
Next day we were offered another room but this was worse than the one we were in and after showing the woman on reception the photos ( digital cameras are brilliant) we were promised another room by 12:00noon.
Having our first breakfast made us think we had made a big mistake as did the dinner, barely warm food does not fill you with confidence, so we went into Paphos and paid for a really nice meal and re-budgeted to eat out.
Just after dinner we were allocated another room Poolside, Excellent, the holiday then took off!
We thought we would try the evening meal to see if it would be any better, What a surprise, brilliant!
The trick is to get in early and following this rule no more problems, you are also allowed 1 meal in the
smaller restaurant each week, this was first class.
The entertainment staff were exeptional (Helen, James & Donna) I dont know how much they are paid but it isnt enough for the hard work they put in, the kids club team were great but you have to pay for this service.
Car Hire! use Avis we hired a jeep for 3 days from Atlas across the road but not only would the tyres not have been allowed back home but the drivers window fell out twice (quite windy driving back from Limasol with the window open.
We found no problems with the staff and the poolside was cleaned up frequently during the day.
Only negative was the indoor heated pool and jacuzzi
weren`t.
All in all good holiday an we would return.

Although the food was self service (which was clear when we booked) we always found the selection to be varied & to a good standard. Sometimes if you went in towards the end of the session the food was only luke warm, there was never a meal time that you could not find something to suit.
The accomodation, pool & communal areas were all very clean. The restaurant staff were mostly faultless. The bar staff however could have been better & we found that all inclusive guests were treated with some contempt by some not all bar staff.

There was no real beach at the hotel, just a rocky area next to the sea.
The food was of an average standard with plenty of choice.
The entertainment was fantastic. There were events throughout the day and night.
It was a long way the resort centre and there was nothing much in the vicinity-only one shop and two pubs. There was a regular bus which was very cheap though.

Hotel is so clean my gran (who I travelled with) is an early riser and told me that everything was cleaned every morning and night!
The hotel is set out of the way but that’s not a problem, the buses are frequent and cheap (25p)
-I would recommend the old town for the shops (Next, Mothercare, M&S and all the usual clothes shops) and the view!
-I would recommend the harbour for the bars/restaurants and trips it's lively and full of the locals young and old throughout the holidays.
The staff are friendly once you get to know them
The entertainers were fab! Welchy and the gang! The amount of work they did. I am quite shy and was up on the stage three times winning all kinds of goodies!
Facilities include outdoor pool (massive but cold in November) indoor pool is lovely in the winter and is rarely used by anyone. The Jacuzzi is nice but usually has people in it... I never used the sauna steam room or gym but they all looked lovely!
The private beach doesn’t look very appealing but the water is so clean and lovely to have a swim in.
Beware--- whilst we were at this hotel in November 04 a families safe was robbed and very little help was given by the reps! They had to borrow money from a regular who visits the hotel every year, they had to stay an extra week to obtain new passports etc.
The entertainers were more helpful than the reps who seemed to lock themselves in their little office. With that info I wouldn’t request a ground floor apartment and always check windows and doors!!!
The apartments themselves were spacious and because of the time of year the air conditioning was free!
If your going to ring home use you room phone as they are so cheap (10 mins 2-4cyprus pounds) this worked out so much cheaper and you pay when you leave!
Maids were at the room everyday and there was always extra towels given.
All in all I would recommend this hotel and I would go back there for a relaxing holiday!

It was our third visit to these apartments and we will definately return for a fourth visit. The apartments are very attractive to look at and are kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. Any problems are quickly dealt with by very friendly and efficient staff.
The food is usually buffet style and always has a varied and excellent choice to suit all tastes.
The location is approximately 6-8 miles from the town of Paphos and about 4 miles from Coral Bay. There is an excellent and frequent bus service which is very cheap to use.
All the staff are very professional and will always help with any queries or problems. There is something going on most of the day, and the evening entertainment staff work very hard to make everyones holiday very enjoyable. If you go for the self-catering option, ther are many restaurants and snack bars within walking distance. We found that it was well worth upgrading to an all-inclusive option on arrival as it was not as expensive as we thought.

The best thing I liked about the hotel was that it had a football de' saloa (Brazlain football coaching) and that was absolutley awesome, the coach was Richard and he is the best coach in the world, and thats that.
The hotel food was great, but I thought it may have been better, the pool was really nice. They also did pool areobics, volley ball etc, which was great.
If you ever go, you will absolutely LOVE IT TRUST ME!!
Bye Craig

The hotel is a 4 start all inclusive resort but we went self catering. The apartment was lovely and spacious with a wonderful view, we were lucky to get on facing the cliff with stunning views of the sea.
Pool was lovely, but quite busy.
The hotel is on a main road, with nothing within in walking ditance, there was a very gud and cheap bus which was great but not the same as having everything on your doorstep.
Overall great apartment but due to its location best suited to families paying for all inclusive.
